Jays who was a star yesterday in in because he took a no hitter into the ninth inning had a dozen strikeouts and un fortunately he did not finish off the no hinter but uh Ninja he pitched an absolute gem let's hear about it do you know who the reigning Al pitcher of the week is Will is it Francis it is Bowen Francis the man is on fire this man is on fire he has been on a freaking heater he had 12ks in eight Innings took a no hitter into the ninth inning and then gave it up in spectac acular fashion with the Home Run that's the only way to give up a no hitter you don't want a cheapy you want a home run the Blue Jays have a long line of blowing no hitters in the ninth inning go ask Dave Steve who is the king of this and also one of the nastiest pitchers of all time how many did Steve have Ninja a million he did it every game I believe he lost no hitters three times with two outs in the ninth inning now that would give me some kind of complex anyway he was dominating with his fast balls and Splitters even threw in a curveball he had 10 whiffs on his fast ball and it's not like his fast Ball's overpowering averages just 92.7 miles an hour at least yesterday and he's been throwing nearly all fast balls and Splitters this has been a big change in part of the Resurgence that you've seen in Bow and Francis he's kind of ditched his curveball you see in this chart here that curveball has fallen off because people were hitting it and you know what you do when people are hitting your pitches you stop throwing the damn pitch pretty smart move I'd say because he's on fire now as I sang earlier the other thing is a blue jay St a ton of Splitters and we all know about Kevin Gosman but here are all of their splitter grips in one graphic and I love Splitters because you give up only four hits had this 97.9 mph fast ball which tied the fastest for his career had these change ups and also picked up a sword on his sweeper he faced his friend Sunny gray who had seven ks in six Innings giving up five runs and had these sweepers it's good to see uh 20123 Pablo Lopez returning the mad scientist himself he he's been off his game this year ninja big fan of Pablo Lopez one of the greatest interviews ever smart dude and it is good to see him pitching well it seems like for whatever reason I think it was going up against Sunny gray his former teammate that really brought the best out of him he loved competing with him and they both talked about it after the game saying it was fun they friends you know what try to beat the hell out of your friend Ben Lively had fourks in six and twoth thirs innings giving up two ear and runs as the Guardians beat the Rangers 13 to5 he had this curveball he faced John Gray who wasn't very good yesterday so we'll skip him the Braves slid past the Nats four to2 Charlie F and Morton had six ks in five and two3 innings giv up two runs he had these 3,000 RPM curveballs just absolute Wipeout stuff and then Kade Gallow again yesterday making it the 17th time and now 22 at bats that he struck out Joey Gallow Joey Gallo's never gotten a hit off him he definitely needs to call him Uncle Charlie right he's not even a left-handed 99 mph heater and 87 mph slider Jose Ferrer had this painted 99 mph heater Griffin Jack picked up a k with three sweepers Ryan Walker had this wicked two seamer and sweeper and dead Nell Nunes had these Wicked sliders my top five filthiest pitches of the day yesterday number five we have Zack Gallen at his knuckle curve show at number four Joan Don for these Wicked curve balls I mean that is pure filth and number three Pablo Lopez and all his stuff great outing from Pablo yesterday at number two Clayton Kershaw for that curveball against Morell I mean that looks painful little Allen Iverson crossover action and at number one we have about and Francis for his outstanding outing yesterday a big pitching and just show Round of Applause for p and Franc and now my pitchy ninja Moment of Zen I swear I thought shohi was glued to the bench here but apparently he's just getting mud out of [Music] his my picks of the day today I'm going to take Ronaldo Lopez for 5Ks or more then take
