I'M ANTHONY KUSTURA IN FOR LISA BALICK TONIGHT. THE NATIONAL TRANSPORTATION SAFETY BOARD CONFIRMS IT WILL NOW TAKE ON THE INVESTIGATION COINS. ARIEL SALK JOINS US LIVE IN FAIRVIEW. YOU SPENT THE DAY TALKING WITH NEIGHBORS? WHAT'S IT LIKE OUT THERE? OH, YEAH, IT'S PRETTY TERRIBLE. WE JUST ACTUALLY GOT TO FRONT OF THE HOUSES THAT WERE IMPACTED. >> AS YOU CAN SEE THIS DAMAGE IS EXTENSIVE AND THE FIRE DEPAR CHIEF FOR THE QUESTION FIRE HAS CONFIRMED THAT 3 PEOPLE HAVE DIED IN RESULT OF THIS FIRE TO FROM THE PLANE AND ONE WHICH WAS IN ONE OF THESE HOMES. >> IT'S SUPER HOT, SUPER. >> LOW. >> AND THEN BOOM, A LITTLE AFTER 10 SATURDAY MORNING, FAIRVIEW RESIDENTS WITNESSED A HEARTBREAKING CRASH. MY GRANDDAUGHTER WANTED SEE THE PLANE BECAUSE SHE HEARD IT. SO YOU'RE LOOKING OUT A WINDOW TO TIE IT. >> THE WHITE PLANE. >> AND THEN >> WE TURNED AROUND. AND NEXT THING I KNOW THE WHOLE HOUSE WAS JUST BECAUSE IT'S A HUGE EXPLOSION AND NEVER I'VE NEVER SEEN ANYTHING LIKE THAT BEFORE. A SMALL PLANE CRASHING INTO A HOME. WAS LIKE A GAS EXPLOSION. >> YEAH, JUST OUT HERE AND I HEARD CLAY LIKE WAS DEFENDING. AND I NEXT HERE, BIG BOOM AND I TURNED AND THAT'S WHAT I SEE IN THE HOUSES AND STUFF OVER THERE ON FIRE. RUSSIAN FIRE WAS FIRST ON THE SCENE WHICH WOULD TURN INTO A 5 ALARM FIRE. INITIALLY THAT WAS FOR 3, 4, >> THINK NOW IT'S GOING DISPLACE 5 FAMILIES. IT MAY BE A 6, 1, THIS PARTICULAR FIRE WELL INVOLVED. COLLAPSED FROM THE INITIAL AIRPLANE STRIKE. THEY CAN GET INTO THE UNIT. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT CONFIRMS 3 PEOPLE HAVE DIED. >> 2 ARE IN THE PLANE AND ONE PERSON WAS IN A HOME RIGHT? BEEN FRANK. THE FIRE DEPARTMENT ALSO SAYS WHEN THE PLANE WAS COMING DOWN, IT HIT A POWER LINE CAUSING A SMALL FIRE AND POWER OUTAGES FOR THOUSANDS THROUGHOUT THE DAY. >> I JUST WANTED TO FALL TO THE GROUND AND TALTZ, MUCH EMPATHY AND SADNESS. >> NOW I JUST SPOKE TO ONE WOMAN SHE WAS ABLE TO FIND 2 CAPPED. THERE WERE ONE OF THOSE HOMES ALIVE. SO ONE OF THEM A LITTLE SHOOKEN UP A LITTLE MADDIE, BUT A LIFE. THE NTSB IS INVESTIGATING THIS CRASH. WE WILL CONTINUE TO BRING YOU UPDATES ON
