BUT DOING IT THE OREGON WAY. KIND TO EACH OTHER, MAKING SURE THAT EVERYBODY GOT A CHANCE TO SAY THEIR POINT OF VIEW. I MEAN, IS THAT SOMETHING THAT YOU'RE SURPRISED YOU KNOW, THE REACTION TODAY THAT YOU CAN GET PEOPLE THAT WERE JUST EITHER SO ANGRY, SO UPSET VERBALLY. OREGONIANS LOOKED AT THESE ISSUES IN THE PAST AND THEY SAID WE CAN DO BETTER. YOU KNOW, THERE IS A SENSE IN OUR STATE. FIRST AMENDMENT. ALWAYS POLITICAL VIOLENCE. NEVER. AND YOU SAW THAT IN OUR TOWN HALL MEETING AND I THINK YOU YOU ALMOST HAVE BEEN IN THE OREGON DNA. >> YOU'VE BEEN A LONGTIME SENATOR HAVE OBVIOUSLY A LOT OF CONNECTIONS. WHAT HAVE YOU LEARNED IN THE PAST? 24 HOURS IN TERMS OF SECURITY SECURITY MEASURES, YOU KNOW, SURROUNDING. >> THE PRESIDENT PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE AS WELL AS YOU KNOW, FOR THE SENATORS. >> WHY SIT ON THE SENATE SELECT COMMITTEE ON INTELLIGENCE? I'M SURE WILL HAVE A BRIEFING. I'M VERY QUICKLY THERE ARE A WHOLE HOST OF UNANSWERED YOU. NO WITH RESPECT FOR EXAMPLE, GUN POLICY AT THESE EVENTS AND CERTAINLY HOW THIS INDIVIDUAL WAS ABLE TO GET ALL THAT WEAPONRY AND EXPLOSIVES AND THE LIKE. THESE QUESTIONS HAVE GOT TO BE ANSWERED. THAT GOING TO BE ANSWERED QUICKLY. >> MOST OF THE QUESTION, THOUGH, YOU KNOW, FROM A SECURITY POINT BECAUSE THIS WAS AN INDIVIDUAL SO FAR, WE UNDERSTAND THAT WAS OUTSIDE THE AREA BUT CLOSE ENOUGH WITHIN JUST A COUPLE OF 100 YARDS AWAY UP ON A ROOFTOP AND NOBODY FROM THE SECRET SERVICE SAW THAT. I MEAN, THAT MAKES PEOPLE QUESTION, WHAT WOULD WHY NOT? IT SURE LOOKS TO ME LIKE A BIG GAP IN THE SECURITY PERIMETER. BUT I'M NOT GOING START JUMPING TO ANY CONCLUSIONS ONLINE. NO, RIGHT NOW WE HAVEN'T HAD BRIEFING IN THE INTELLIGENCE COMMITTEE IS WHAT I'VE SEEN IN THE NEWS. LET'S FOLLOW UP QUESTION FOR YOU WITH PRESIDENT BIDEN. ARE YOU STILL SUPPORTING HIM TO STAY IN THE RACE AS OPPOSED TO TURNING IT OVER TO THE VICE PRESIDENT? I AM SUPPORTING HIM AND I JUST HEARD HIS HIS REMARKS. I THOUGHT THE PRESIDENT WAS PRESIDENTIAL AND THAT IT'S A BIG PART OF WHAT YOU NEED TO DO IN A MOMENT LIKE THIS. YOU NEED TO BRING PEOPLE TOGETHER. IT IS SO EASY TO DAILY SUN, AMERICAN POLITICS TO DIVIDE PEOPLE. IT'S REALLY HARD TO BRING PEOPLE TOGETHER. PRESIDENT DID THAT AGAIN TONIGHT. ALL RIGHT, SENATOR WYDEN, THANKS FOR COMING IN
