gear got the taco pizza behind me as well in the back there those Iowans love that you brought up J Mark he will not yeah he would not root for Iowa State they they have the maybe the worst Interstate rivalry I think of all sports is the Iowa Iowa State rivalry they go say from a viewing perspective or just everything about it the game's always [ __ ] the trophy is ridiculous the shawk the weather [ __ ] the fans yeah they don't like each other but then after the game they love each other ALS season long they root for each other for the rest of the wgs they just want good things to happen to Iowa well what the [ __ ] do you like them or do you hate them or not you know I happen to like a good 10 to nine game I like the game too and I have a special place in my heart for Iowa State in general and just I and that that game is and it's so and it's like right up the bat like the second game of the season like they're never ready for it you know they should move that to the final game of the season it used to I was actually doing a deep dive I don't know like I think in the 80s and 90s it was you know somewhere later in the year but uh they should do that but you know last year right before the season we found out like 30 guys were suspended and we're just like okay but damn if Matt Campbell doesn't just find ways to win games oh you take you're taking my quarterback back two backup running backs right uh you know just the whole [ __ ] team and you're like I I got this i got this we're fine um dude they were pretty good and uh I think yeah that's what Matt Campbell's at his best when his back's against the wall and they have no no hope when he's a favorite he's not so great you know um but like like like last year was a weird year in general they lost to Ohio and then they beat Oklahoma State you know same exact season they and the Ohio game drives me crazy because it should have went to overtime he the kicker made a field goal that was good yeah that the it was like [ __ ] Rich Carlos 2.0 here in 87 uh you know if you remember the no one's goingon to remember this but Browns bronos Rich car for sure the Barefoot wonder that kicks no good they just say it's good Broncos win the game this was the same situation where Iowa State makes a field goal and it's like no the ref said no good and it's like wait what like we had the fox cameras go up and it's like yeah that's in that thing's in um but yeah I mean either way Iowa state that that's traditionally what happens though I feel like is you know they play so many close games right uh that you live by the sword you die by the sword but you know uh in general I think I think it's a good place where Matt Campbell has them we're going to talk more about that in a second but I want to tell you you back talking uh Cyclone football and yeah I mean you look what Matt Campbell's been doing man um first off this team hasn't won a conference or league title since 1912 which is fascinating know it's fascinating because they had Johnny major they had you know uh Earl Bruce um Jimmy Johnson was part of the staff they just had a loaded staff back then McCarney had some good years Paul rhods did all right but Campbell got them to the Big 12 championship game a couple years ago and I feel like that's been half the battle where are you at with Matt Campbell you think he's a good coach I do I mean he got hyped up as the next big thing you know and he got that got a little too much in him they had to pump the brakes on that but yeah you're talking about Iowa State you're talking about you know um they're one of the few power four now I guess schools they've never had a 10- win season season ever you know well they only had an 11 game schedule until like 2000 the stats are the stats here Kobe and um and you know from you know and they had that cap of course like in the mid 2000s where they lost every year it was like 10 10 losing seasons in 11 years and Campbell has now won six winning seasons in the last seven years and even last year was probably the most impressive of them all after all the noise like you said at sports wagering and all that stuff so um I you got to give Campbell Credit for having a winning and they got a winning culture there now too you know yeah and really you know I like he's 53 and 48 at Iowa State I find the stat remarkable he he's 38 of those 48 losses are by single digits that's insane so I think fans should should give they get give him a lifetime contract because like even when you're not supposed to be good or you're like they're 2- seven against Oklahoma m in good news there no more Oklahoma so true and three and but dude two and seven and three and five against Texas and Oklahoma so together they're what five and 12 that's and a lot of those losses are close too they put scar what I'm saying they went for two in Norman lost a game by going for two uh Sixpoint loss here seveno loss there had Texas on the ropes the last time they played them um I I'm really impressed by that stat I mean because I bet you if you went throughout history and say hey five of the you know 5 and 12 against Oklahoma and Texas I know Texas wasn't in the big eight but Oklahoma was and I know damn well they weren't winning five of 17 against against Oklahoma uh but those teams are gone and that's why I think that that if you're an Iowa State fan you're thinking wow we have this 12 team playoff um and we kind of kickass against almost every other team in the conference yes you're one and five against Iowa with all those games being by like one point right uh that's a concern but that game's not going to matter you win the Big 12 which you just played in the championship game a couple years ago you are in the playoff the 12 team playoff and you look at his record against all the schools there four and four against Kansas State and farmageddon six- two againsta Kansas three and five against Oklahoma State okay that's that's one you got to work on but four- two against Texas Tech 5-3 against TCU four- four against Baylor 2-0 against the newcomers I mean you gotta think like hey this is before you never had a chance to go to the playoffs really now year in and year out you're GNA have a chance with Matt Campbell as your head coach right yeah and he's got talent there and he and uh I this year especially they're returning all the those they great I agree with Timothy Green their offense is gonna be good their defense is gonna be good the only hiccup they have I see him with the schedule which we'll get into but um Matt Campbell yeah I trust him at least with the offense you know and uh he's he's getting quarterbacks in there not just Brock pie but we'll get into Tony meatballs kid Jr in a little bit but uh yeah for sure they have a chance to get there now for sure I don't uh jumping into it um bad losses CJ you know we like to talk about all all this [ __ ] I want to bring up all the bad losses Ohio was a bad loss a season ago all right uh how about don't put Northern Iowa on the schedule anymore because going through this exercise uh the Panthers have beaten Iowa state three times since the turn of the century they probably only played them like five or six watch out for those Panthers uh that's got to be the worst right terrible Yukon destroying them at home though not good either I do remember I remember that game I remember all C your answer every every team preview we do you go you shouldn't be losing to Yukon not at home you can't let the Yukon come into your building at all ever oh man I love doing this just nothing like get all excited about your team now let me talk about what I know let me [ __ ] on you a little bit let's not talk let's talk about the nightmares from the last 24 years just so make of that old logo you think they should go back to that one or no the old logo yeah I love the psy I like the cyhawk was that all cyhawk there and um but that's that cyhawk is the trophy between cycl I'm like I don't know what the hell that's called no yeah he's I thought he was called someone of cyclones I don't know the bird gets they always a bird in there or something who knows the I just I feel like birds probably are victims from a some tornadoes maybe no I guess so they're all VI we're all that [ __ ] though it's like it's like the uh it's like the title waves and [ __ ] you know what I mean like the tsunamis the animals know like 10 minutes before the humans horses are just like hey I'm going to head up this hill these birds they know man so yeah maybe it is a little fictional um should be a pig the damn Farms out there well whatever a shocker uh they were 70th in scoring per game last year 26.2 points per game 10th best in the Big 12 I actually think those numbers are good considering your whole damn team got got suspended and kicked your starting quarterback and starting running back got kicked off the team like a week before the season uh they were 79th in yards 3469 yards per game 49th in passing uh and 101st in Rush that's surprising to me because normally they're like a run first team past second I feel like that not the case last year uh as they were 101st in rushing and 11th out of 14 in the Big 12 a season ago uh the offense returns nine starters buddy including the entire offensive line and Roco Beck the son of Anthony Beck uh both your wide outs Jaylen no Noel and uh Jaden Higgins and steo clots great tight end night love steo clots he plays fullback as well he's a uh absolute pancake block I mean how can you not be if your name steo CL I can John Madden coming back to life just just to talk just to put Ste o clots on his Madden team and call him you know oh you gotta have a clots on your team I always say you gotta have a clock me he's great he's a throwback yeah and and you know also you know Jaden Higgins that I I I think I'm pretty I'm pretty excited about seeing Higgins uh in another year of this off it's amazing the youth Higgins will be playing in the NFL yeah no doubt he's a he's a professional wide receiver Jaylen n's good too he's a senior but um yeah Higgins is great this all offense is gonna be great and that who's that tight end who's that monster tight end they had Benjamin brow or whatever too he was like six foot seven yeah yeah um and I mean they they've pumped him out they've pumped it like the developmental program there like you touched on whe whether it's Brock pie whether it's uh you know a couple of the running backs David Montgomery Bree Hall amazing uh the the kid in the XFL last year for the St Louis battle Hawks the white out Hakeem Butler yes yeah Hakeem Butler yeah it's absolute studs but uh and also I kind of like the running back Abu Sama that guy kind of flashed last year well they the entire Iowa State team the second half of the Season kind of went on a tear and abuu himself he had um 544 yards the last six games now granted more than half of that was versus K State in that one game but he had you know that monster 275 and three touchdown game but he looked great and it was all in that second half of the season the whole second half of the season was weird they went four and0 in a road lost two at home but uh yeah you know but that's when Roco Beck came into fruition the whole offense started coming in first that second half of the Season well it makes sense because they they had never started games before you know I mean like as the season prolongs it didn't make sense as far as like we thought they were going to be terrible because of the suspensions but Benjamin brahmer and and cl at the tight end spots yeah uh very encouraging I would say now they are breaking in a freshman kicker I I don't highlight that as much on other team previews but since every game Matt Campbell's ever coached is a three-point game yeah um that uh that should be noted now and by the way that farmageddon game in the snow against Kansas state was [ __ ] incredible probably my what maybe my favorite game of the whole season last year um the offense though dude I mean how does Roco back it's like the same thing with Noah faf yeah how do they avoid the sophomore slump because like that's a real [ __ ] thing like I can like 30 years of college football history where like the soft you start believing you're the man and then the next summer you you just you don't have that same Edge and uh yeah I've heard guys on vssn put both those names you just said out there for Heisman because Rocco you can get a thousand to one Nebraska 500 to one um tell you what I mean sorry no it's Fine's always going to play it's it's actually how my thoughts are it's start Mumble I start like stuttering my thoughts uh you know he was what he was Big 12 rookie of the year last year Tony baloney's uh kid he broke all the rookie School rookie I was State rookie records at least for passing yards touchdowns completions all that you know and he play played half season so um he could have a big year his receivers are coming back the offense is coming back they're going to put up numbers problem is I mean will it be as PR I me Iowa State's never had a prolific offense even when they had the talent you know they kind of manage the game they don't they not put up they don't put up video game numbers it's an Iowa thing it's an Iowa thing you can't be good run or the fan yeah the fans will turn on if you get too flashy for him uh Taylor M like Roco Beck you know what either way you know Ian as much as I make fun of Tony coach Tony meatball from Delan New Jersey he was an old rival uh his kid's good I like I was stating he looked good last year so I I think I I think this offense could do some damage I think it could be you know as well Taylor Mouser uh the OC there uh and you know Iowa State historically just gets raided in the portal under Matt Campbell right uh and this year uh it's a lot of the same uh first off davius Norton heads out to Charlotte with Biff POI Eli Sanders to New Mexico those are two good backs Arlon Harris three three backs that at times I was convinced were good like I'm like hey these are good backs uh and they all went to like they all went to a step down which is interesting to me um they lost Terrell Crosby to Toledo the Rockets um also losing tight end desan Hanah to Kansas and offens lineman darl Simmons at Kansas what's what's going on in these wheat Fields here um but yeah I mean not that I mean okay you lost an offensive linan to UCLA not many jumped up as as traditionally like years past I feel like they've kind of gotten hit pretty bad with that um now they uh they they actually were proactive here's my favorite one Matt Campbell say you know what I am going to use the portal this year I'm going to go get an army receiver yeah yeah all right no but he's supposed to be a freak yeah I really am excited about be good he's gonna have the receiver room is gonna be great I love4 man yeah and and he's a kid in the candy shop now we're gonna throw you a forward pass we don't want you in a three-point stance out there out wide we don't need you crack blocking we're going to need you to actually use your hands to catch a football how about how's that sound Isaiah sir yes sir surprise Army let him leave all right uh running back Jaylen Jackson comes in from Eastern Michigan wide receiver Eli Green from North Dakota State offensive tackle Jaylen Travis from Princeton and offensive lineman Dylan Barrett from the Wisconsin Badgers hey that's a lot more than some of these years man so I'm I'm kind of buying in um I think this offense is going to be pretty good man I don't know about you but like I just need him to avoid the sophomore you know slum because they they have all the talent they have a lot of veterans returning too and they have of course the Young quarterback who can blow up or have a slump uh how Taylor M how Taylor Mouser handles this it's his first year as a coordinator you know I mean will Campbell's kind of override him I don't know who knows so that's up to that but but he was with the program right yeah but his first year as a coordinator yeah yeah that's true that's a good point um that is that is a very good point um but I do think the offense will be look you lose Oklahoma and Texas I guess Oklahoma's defense hasn't been great lately but Texas was pretty good last year that's huge that's huge losing those two and there I mean we'll get to the schedule but uh and they kind of avoid all the big 12 team Pack 12 teams that came in as well uh at least a bunch of them the four that because everyone gets the four although they got a big one they have to go to Utah which is not going to be good but yeah yeah uh good last year they only gave up I mean before you even run down to Stats they I don't think they gave they gave up they did not give up more than 35 points in any game except for the bowl game of course when Memphis dropped 36 on them but uh dude 42 in scoring defense per game Nation last year 22.8 points per game third best in the Big 12 50th in yards second best in the Big 12 uh only Texas was ahead of them so they're gone so they're they're basically the top defensive unit coming back 73rd in uh pass defense third best in the Big 12 37th and Rush defense second best in the Big 12 with only Texas being in front of them so uh you do that and you bring back eight starters holy [ __ ] and your punter Tyler Perkins um okay b b the now the both ends are back both ends are back they needed they got someone I know from the portal but they got some veterans in there they're okay to dine well they and they go they go uh 335 uh remman front yeah Joey Peterson and Tyler onum I don't mean I think we got to rank them the best defense coming uh maybe Utah because Utah's coming in yeah Utah is always a really good defense but uh Arizona Arizona State Colorado not so much not so much is right yeah uh the portal they did uh they did lose a couple guys but once again they were kind of Step Downs you know uh Jefferson Adams saying I'm going to Eastern Michigan I want to play at that factory a lot of times these guys leave I'm say a lot of times these guys leave for a reason because they weren't goingon to be playing there like like Prime says you know yeah normally if they go to a school that's like if they were to go to Ohio State you would say right that could be a dagger loss yeah but you're going to Wayne State you know yeah wait didn't they uh weren't they the ones that were uh the reason why the UFL couldn't play a playoff game right why the Michigan Panthers had to go on the road to Birmingham uh check out the UFL game podcast yes I am mentioning that um in the portal though we go out and get a couple guys iard Snider Oh Yeah from ULM coming in there he's gonna be nice on the edge they need an edge rusher and he's gon to be the guy and then cornerback Ryan Robinson from LSU you don't have to go get a lot just get couple nice pieces tighten up that defense look we said we think the offense could be better than it was a season ago do you think the defense will be better than it was a season ago I mean well first of all they're going to be consistent they're veterans consistent you you can trust on you can say you're watch to him especially with your coordinator John what's his name heok there uh yeah John heacock damn good DC great DC and he's been there for a while and um so yeah I mean I think they'll be just as good just just through experience they'll be better one year longer but um yeah I mean if anything maybe they're a little light in linebacker but if not everywhere else they're strong across the board and they're just returning a bunch of people so yeah I I expect both sides of the ball to be uh experienced and consistent and very good I kind of like the linebackers I I feel like they're good on the whole defense man I think they're pretty sound um yeah uh look the win total sitting at seven and a half wins expectations are high in AES uh they're plus a th to to win the Big 12 Championship to make the 12 team playoff also plus a th000 which is the same I guess cuz if they win the Big 12 Championship they're automatically in right uh plus 35,000 to uh to to win The Natty there can you imagine a playoff game in Ames Iowa at Jack TR Stadium awes God be so great that's what I'm saying like this sport would be thriving uh but here's the problem is for them to if they win they just get a buy so you win the Big 12 you just get a buy you almost need to be like 10- two or 11 and one and then lose in the Big 12 Championship to host right which is hilarious in a way they're going to change that soon I think because they're going to realize how much these other colleges will make through their local economy and say wait why the [ __ ] are the top four teams that win the divisions not getting these um but uh uh just blindly without looking at the schedule seven and a half wins would you lean higher lower I mean because Campbell kind of he kind of stays right around that yes historically um it seems like a fair number we talking about Iowa State you want to get you don't want to get your hopes too high with them every time there is like that they usually disappoint when you're too low they they'll they'll meet they'll rise and go above your expectations um but that being said I have high hopes for their offense I like their defense I like their whole roster the schedule's obviously going to get a little more difficult I know um we'll get into that specifically in a bit but this big 12 like we said is kind of open Everyone likes Kansas State I don't think Iowa State's that much different in Kansas State you know I think they're kind of the same team if anything so I like a 10 to one shot on them to win to Big 12 and right now just blindly I'd lean over seven and a half but not by much I don't I doubt I'll be betting their win total I certainly like IA State's defense more than Kansas State's but I will say Kansas State's they can hit the big play much much better than Iowa State they have like three or four guys that could really stretch the field to me well you ask can to State about abuu talk about the big play I want this pilot I want it's a matter of National Security uh let's get into it because I mean freshman kicker what I just got to mention that I if this kicker if this kicker struggles watch out um game one all right playoff team on the schedule uh the look they already lost to North Dakota State the last time they played him can the fighting Hawks of North Dakota too bad they lost everybody Tommy mot now at Michigan State they are going to be one and0 I feel very good about that they'll be North Dakota and it's smart of them to drop the North Dakota State they probably thought they were getting North Dakota like whoa who the hell are these why why would we schedule this dynasty the doublea dynasty that should be ranked higher than us if they play D1 yeah yeah 100% uh then they had shawk Iowa State Fair you ever been to the Iowa State Fair detective oh my God the famous Iowa State Fair listen yeah uh well the funnel cake is to die for H the fried Oreos it's everything everything that iow state fair the buttered Caitlyn Clark it's a gross debauchery of this country it goes on for weeks and months uh I got them losing in a uh 13 to 12 type of game they went four field goals out of the Freshman but he'll miss a big one and that'll cost him I got I got the hawkey doing what they do and winning uh 13 to 12 this is what happens no matter what iow was I think Iowa stand even more talented Iowa it doesn't matter Iowa wins this game it's what it's a slopfest shhawks and here's the thing with too with this rivalry game being weak too that only benefits Iowa because Iowa is the same team week two as they are week 10 you know they're the same boring ass the same team they were in 1984 they're not going to get hot come November Iowa State needs to get momentum going and get hot because they're improving Iowa they're like the cow at the state fair that you get what you get you get it every time but they gonna beat Iowa State dude I'm still mad about a few years ago I had Iowa State money line I think they were like somewhat of a dog like six seven points or something against Iowa and I took it on the money line and I was States beating him and then there's like a 12-hour lightning delay yeah oh yeah I remember that game for sure and then after 12 hours they come back and play it like midnight and damn if Iowa doesn't steal the win because of this I know I I know I didn't I don't think I was conscious when they just want up coming back playing we were very drunk for the Rivalry then the uh weather delay happens and it was like yeah it was like four or five hours and like by the time the game finished I was like what what happened that was very frustrating from a gambling point of view because I felt like Iowa state was was in control of that game before the lightning delay um yeah so I got them one in one they got a byee I don't like the bye that early but uh the Arkansas state redwolves Butch Jones come to town they did make a bowl last year but they were a phony team they're not very good um I got them I got them winning this one here two and one y then they head to Houston to take on Willie Fritz I do think Willie Fritz I think people are sleeping on how good of a coach he is um I favor Iowa State but that's only because it's the first month of Fritz breaking in this brand new offense and defense they're getting out of the air raid that Dana hogerson ran so it might take a little bit to me if this game was in November I'd be terrified of this but it's still in September I gotta favor the Clones here what are you doing here yeah like Howa stay here uh three in one for sure and then uh home to Baylor now we called for a Bor upset here I was just going to say I just remember didn't we have we talked ourselves in a Bor upset in Iowa State uh I mean there because there's a path here where I'm looking then that's before I got de IA State I'll stick with it I'll stick with an upset because it's a look ahead too at West Virginia because there is a chance of them being five and0 going to Morgantown coming sure you know sure and but they are he does have a losing record against Baylor Matt Campbell does okay Baylor gives him problems loses games like this that's how we also justify it as well yeah what you just every game's a three-point game you're just going to lose some that you're not expecting uh so I got him I got him uh going to three and two there then they head to Morgantown it's winnable but I'm taking West Virginia yeah no they're losing at yeah they're losing at West Virginia and I which unfortunately leads to UCF a team at home they should they could be obviously compete they're gonna be ucf's going to be aned Iowa State going to beat him Iowa State's going to beat him here really I think it's a tough spot for Iowa State coming off of uh physical game at West Virginia though too you know that could be a l sometimes those things pile up back to back then you have the buy coming in I would rather the I would rather the buy be after this West Virginia game sure ready for a UCF that's when they need it or but you know hear me out here I think UCF might be undefeated at this point and be top 15 in the country country you know where top 15 teams lose in [ __ ] Ames Iowa there's a decent it but if they're 500 then UCF will win the game um I'm I'm gonna give it to Iowa State though you're you're taking UCF huh I'm taking UCF here I'm taking well listen they're either I was going to split them but I think they lose both West Virginia and UCF Houston Baylor I think they they he they lose one of those so we'll have him beat Houston lose to Baylor that's three in a row losses for me yeah and that would then set them at three and four for you I got them at four and three mhm they get a bye and they're home to Texas Tech uh do I need to remind you that uh we are Matt Campbell is five and0 all time against Texas Tech I will take Iowa State to get them for sure they get right after the buy love them M for Texas Tech that puts it at five and three for me four and four for you four and four for me then this is what I'm so curious about they play Kansas at Arrowhead this [ __ ] is going to be 5050 the crowd that's too big of a stadium and it's like it's that's not that far for Iowa State yeah uh and first of all nothing as far for Iowa State fans if it's drivable as long as it's not on water they if they can drive their goddamn trucks they will go there they don't nothing I mean they'll go 48 Hours 52 hour whatever a nice drive they they oh Florida sounds like an easy drive I can handle that yeah nothing Kansas City is nothing to that I did like I looked this up like a couple weeks back it's like a very drivable game like the I want to say it's like three hours or something I forget interesting it's uh well Kansas has no home stadium they're remodeling it so uh they're playing all their big 12 games at Arrowhead but I think that's why that's why I'm not super bullish on Kansas because I think some of these games they used to hold the big tail Championship there for a reason it's it's neutral to a lot of the location like still water's not that far from it um I think this makes this game way more winnable okay and and when you're playing Kansas this deep into the season you don't know who healthwise is goingon to be at their quarterback position you know obviously if Daniels is hell if they're healthy it's a much different Kansas team you know give me a win give me a win I like it you talked me into it at Camaro head everyone drives down there you know let's get the RVs packed up the uh J the J marks and uh at the clan and Iowans and Ians loves a road trip they're going they're packing they're going to high ve they're packing there's a smile in every ale aisle they're packing it up they're going to Casey's for their taco pizza they're hitting the road Iowa State wins this game or can't oh yeah oh yeah and then they host then they then they host the Cincinnati Bearcats win that puts him at seven wins Cincinnati is gonna be terrible this year by the way absolutely terrible that puts him at seven wins buddy all they need is one more win but guess what you got to do you got to go to Salt Lake City and you are gonna get your ass kicked at Rice Eckles Utah is gonna be brutal that's what I was saying they avoided you know Arizona Arizona State and Colorado out of the Pack 12 but they got the worst one is Utah at Utah they're gonna get smacked there for sure yeah uh they returned from the body blow that is Utah to host Kansas State pharmageddon farmageddon where they battle about corn because which water soil has more water and what other conversations that put you to sleep but this was like you said what a game last year with the snow 275 yards for Sanu to Third and three touchdowns what an awesome game Revenge though I got it is Revenge but this one's in AES I got K State I think K State has this one circled I think Avery Johnson uh is going to have a big time year for them well here's the thing they do have it circled it is big but but A lot's going to be on the line for this game potentially you know yeah how many wait how many losses do we have right there in conference we have we have Utah we have West Virginia and Baylor so three can get in I I do think three losses can get you into the biging this is gonna be for the Big 12 championship this game and at home so I'm with you think give me Kansas state which which which which puts that you at uh what record I at 75 actually I might take Iowa State I might just to say we have the same record I'm going to take Iowa state versus Kansas State because I think they're I think they're just as good as Kansas State and that the odds are out of whack with them that's fair I mean I like I think they're a much better defensive team but I I just think K State's offense pops you could talk me to Kanas State having an edge and being a little bit better but the odd should not be that much different for these two teams fair fair uh but that we're both on the under though and and by the way if you're wondering about that um Iowa State is sitting there at the unders at Min - 105 the overs at - 115 so Vegas is actually like slightly leaning to an eight and4 season yeah for Iowa State I think they're wrong I got them a seven and five they'll be alive though the final week of the season to to get to the Big 12 championship and I think that's what you wanton as as a clones fan um I mean I like him as a team I like the roster I like the coaches like every like everything about them the is tough even though they only have like what what they got four big 12 Road games but those games are tough ones I think here's the problem if you if you ask me the top five teams in the Big 12 this year I would say Utah is one of them yep I would say Kansas State those are my top two probably right sure yeah three would be UCF for me right I think ucf's in that mix I think Kansas and I think Oklahoma State are in that mix they get four of the five you know what I mean they get four of the five tougher teams in the conference and that's not even including like West Virginia is really good and you had to go to Morgantown you know um that's that's the hard that's the tough break there is that but I mean it's tough it's tough schedule for sure but at the same time let's play devil's advocate here what's the only game that's not winnable to me it's the it's the Utah game they like you look at Utah Utah's the hardest game on there Utah's one I just think they can't win that game it's no one ever wins at Rice Eckles and I feel like you got to be like a really really good team to to win at Rice Eckles or they got to have quarterback injuries or something like Oregon whooped their ass at Rice but that on their third string quarterback but um the rest I think are actually winnable games which is I think what you want as a fan you're saying hey can we come in and potentially you know make the college football playoff all these games it's there for you if you want it like Kansas state is like a 50-50 game Kansas is like a 50-50 game West Virginia like okay we took West Virginia but I don't think it's I would not be shocked if IA State one in Morgantown you know um so uh ien under but you're going to be right there clone fans so don't hate us too much bet
