oh Jinger you're so lucky I know this is fun Jinger got a chance to visit the set of Wheel of Fortune as they get ready to kick off their 42nd season wow with Ryan C Chris taking a spin as host along with Vanna White did you get to b v while you were there I mean that's I always wanted to do that I bought four because yeah it takes four vowels to spell Stephanopoulos the O is the O was repeated see yeah it was a lot uh I do know how to spell it it was such a thrill being on that iconic set the wheel is heavy by the way but the energy for this next evolution of Wheel of Fortune oh it's light and full of joy is it really the category is next host and we'd like to solve the puzzle Ryan Crest officially taking the reins on Wheel of Fortune and he's already full of smiles I mean it's real of Fortune how can you not be happy it's en it's positive it's fun I'm so excited and EXC I was thinking about those words like we all use those very frivolously but like in something like this this is like Monumental I mean I don't want to much on it it's out of body for me you know to have watched Vanna and watched this show and patent what they've built with audiences across this country and what this show means to people in their living rooms every night and their families and generations of people who have watched this show it is a very special thing that just doesn't exist anywhere else is there something that you've done to prepare for this job specifically this job yes I have watched endless episodes of Pat and Vana on Wheel of Fortune we have played mock Wheel of Fortune games in many cities Across America depending on where I am on conference tables in meeting rooms we've had makeshift wheels and makeshift contestants um for months just to sort of get the gameplay down and the time and the pacing down and hopefully it all pays off I saw you on your Instagram saying that your heart was racing my heart's pounding I'm so excited I don't if it will ever settle in I get excited about it every time I really do I enjoy being um the person who can introduce an audience to a singer or who can play a new song on the radio or can meet three people from around the country and help them win cash and prizes that part never gets old Pat and vanab both said to me when I first got here that the best part is you're going to meet three new people every night and they walk away with cash I mean that's what this show is about you've had experience with stepping into giant shoes before we saw you do it with nears Rock and Eve what did you learn from that experience that you will apply here because it is that heaviness and gravity in people's lives that you have to be responsible for don't make any changes don't touch it this show works all I need to do is keep it moving all we need to do is have fun every night and I think if that's what happens the show continues for a long time we have a million dollar winner for four decades bana white has been entertaining families at that famous puzzle board here we here we go kick it oh what the heck it hasn't changed it's a family show that everyone of all ages watch and enjoy and they still do they want to solve the puzzle you know if you're walking by the TV and it's half solved you're going to stop and say all right I got to get this puzzle then I can do what I need to do you're just addicted and this season she and Ryan will be debuting a Sleek new set let me show you magic wand I don't even have to touch the letter anymore this is a blank screen with a video on it right there's lasers up there so when I go to touch a letter it catches the movement of my hand so it lights up is that crazy yes I do want to know what's behind the wall cuz I stand behind my wall where I do weather and I was like oh my gosh we have so much in common that's right I go back there to see my puzzles they put my puzzles on a graph it's the preview yes but before I go well Ginger welcome to the wheel thank you uh you seem like the perfect intested the category is people okay popular shows yes okay go ahead 600 spell his name it was I do know how to spell it I really do uh they also told me that there will be tons of new prizes on the wheel like tickets to NFL games and yes tickets to some of the biggest musical artists like Ryan knows a few of those so I'm sure that oh that's great that they're sort of adding that in the new season of Wheel of Fortune premieres next month Monday September 9th so make sure to check your local listings for times uh that morning Ryan and Vanna going to join us live right here in Time Square so you get even more excitement a great spirit to everything he does he really does he seems really into it my mom is thrilled we're looking forward to it we're looking forward to that
