SO ROBERTSON AND SUMNER COUNTY. >> YOU GET YOUR FAIR SHARE THIS MORNING WITH OVER 2 INCHES OF RAIN VERY EARLY, VERY SHORT AMOUNT OF TIME. THAT WAS AHEAD OF THE FRONT. NOW THE FRONT ITSELF IS HERE. IT'S BRINGING A FEW MORE SHOWERS FOR US ACROSS THE AREA. IT DOES BRING US A BREAK FROM THE HEAT AND HUMIDITY. QUICK BREAK. BUT IT'S A BREAK AND IT WILL COME TOMORROW BY MID WEEK IN LATE WEEK. SO THAT DOES INCLUDE YOUR INDEPENDENCE DAY PLANS. IT'S GOING TO RIGHT BACK UP FRIENDLY'S UP IN KENTUCKY NOW IN COUNTY SENT THIS GREAT PICTURE OF A STORM CLOUDS ROLLING RIGHT ON THROUGH RIGHT ALONG THE EDGE OF THAT FRONT. SO SOME OF US HAVE SEEN A REALLY STORMY DAY WHILE OTHERS HAVEN'T EVEN SEEN A DROP OF RAINFALL. FEW FOLKS THAT HAVEN'T SEEN A DROP OF RAINFALL NOW GETTING A CHANCE WITH A COUPLE OF THE SHOWERS MOVING THROUGH AS THEY CONTINUE TO MOVE THROUGH LOSING THAT OF STEAM. WE HAD SOME LIGHTNING AND THUNDER ASSOCIATED EARLIER. NOW IT'S JUST RAINFALL, FRIENDS AND OUT AND PICKED UP ALMOST AN INCH OF RAIN TODAY. LOVE THIS SHOT. YOU CAN SEE THE BLUE SKIES, THE PRETTY WHITE CLOUDS, THOSE DARKER GRAY CLOUDS ALSO JUST HANGING AROUND LOW 80'S. SO IT IS A NICE BREAK FROM THE HEAT FOR SOME OF US. STILL FOLKS OUT ENJOYING NASHVILLE SHORES. IT IS HUMID ENOUGH TO AS CLOSE TO A BODY OF WATER. TODAY WE DID HIT 90 IN NASHVILLE. THANKS TO THE RAINFALL IS COOLING US OFF. IT IS COOLER, ESPECIALLY ON THE NORTHERN HALF BECAUSE OF THE RAIN. 87 IN NASHVILLE AND NIXON, UPPER 70'S FOR COOKEVILLE. 92 IN SAVANNAH, 93 IN PARSONS, LITTLE BIT WARMER. HEAT INDEX IS ALSO REFLECTING THAT. SO FOLKS THAT ARE GETTING SOME MORE THAT SUNSHINE HAVEN'T SEEN THE RAIN TO PARSON. SAVANNAH, FAYETTEVILLE, PICKING ON YOU. THOSE SPOTS WILL RECEIVE THE PINK JUST FEELS REALLY, REALLY WARM OUTSIDE, EVEN IF THE TEMPERATURE LOOKS LIKE IT'S A BIT COOLER TODAY. THOSE SAME FOLKS ARE THE ONES THAT HAVE THAT HEAT ADVISORY IN PLACE. IT'S NOT MUCH LONGER ONLY ABOUT THE NEXT 15 MINUTES TONIGHT. WE COOL OFF. WE SEE THE 60'S FOR THE FIRST TIME IN A LONG TIME OVERNIGHT BY TOMORROW. NICE BREAK FROM THE HEAT. OF COURSE, MID 80'S. SO IF YOU'RE OUT THE DOOR TOMORROW MORNING, NOT REALLY MUCH TO TALK ABOUT THOSE CLOUDS MOVE OUT OF THE WAY OVERNIGHT. TONIGHT. SO PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES, BUT IT'S COOL. IT'S A NICE IT'S NOT POURING RAIN ON YOU. IT'S A GREAT WAY TO START YOUR MONDAY BY LUNCHTIME. UPPER FEEL SO GOOD. AND WE HAVE 80'S BY THE REST OF THE AFTERNOON AND EVENING JUST REALLY NICE BREAK. ENJOY IT BECAUSE WE DO WARM RIGHT BACK UP BY TUESDAY. MID-NINETIES BACK ON THE BOARD AND THEY'RE HERE TO STAY VERY SIMILAR PATTERN THAT WE'VE BEEN SEEING. WE GET THE ONE DAY IN 80'S. THE REST OF THE DAYS ARE JUST SO INCREDIBLY HOT. IT'S GOING TO BE WARM THERE'S A CHANCE FOR SOME SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERST
