oh I'll far into it Raz look you um you've probably been asked this before at the meeting but obviously a massive talking point over here is the um bongi with that well clearly it wasn't a try what do you do now around that what do I do uh yeah can you do do feedback to the referees or World rugby or whatever I mean it's a bit of a clanger clearly uh we went to here back from them uh to see you know their review first and then we pass our review on just so vially uh then there's no double UPS we'll ask the question if they if they haven't given the answer or cover that point this is normally how we do it so they review and and I'm sure they'll uh come back and feel like you know that process would could have been better okay okay I mean you do have to be careful what you say I understand that um have you had a chance TOA to the rep about it is he keep you saying oh Cy no no no no by the time we got back to to to the hotel at 11:00 last night and what is it um 9:00 this time here now I haven't had a chance to have a beer or a coffee with uh uh Mr brace or anything around it and and you know this sign of respect and a little bit of uh etiquette around it there'll be some emails sent and it'll go through joj and that's a normal process yeah all right um just with the game itself that I mean you can talk about a million things but I guess that lopsided penalty count razor you'd look at that and think KY especially at the back end it just really was incredibly unhelpful What's um how do you Rectify that is that just the pressure of the situation interpretations what what's your your feedback on that oh probably all of the above Richard you know there was just some individual moments and just around that mall and just a little bit of offside stuff look they did put pressure in different areas and just got to be cleaner you just got to trust your system and in yourself and minimize all those opportunities for you to be in for them to be in your 22 uh you know look at some pretty upset boys and a really really upset changing room cuz we knew you know some key moments that we didn't we didn't known in the last 15 but we did such a brilliant 65 in the efforts and you know ball play and everything so you know now our job now is to make sure that uh we deal with things we can get better but also acknowledge you know what we did well okay um just the last one from me would you be tempted to make any selection changes for the test in cap town you know as a reaction to to what unfolded in Joe BG you always look at the squad um your te what's the best for for this weekend like we're also so mindful of you know got to win the test in front of you but also you got to look long term you know like we've got to we've got to create opportunities for guys to so we've got we've got depth in in our Squad we've got guys that are you my impacts that come off the bench we've got to have guys that can play in couple of positions and and you do that over this uh you know this fouryear period so you the guys have experienced different situation different circumstances you're in front you're from behind you know so there's lots of things in in your mind so Qui you look at what the squad for this week's um some H some great performances and he it's a tough Squad to tough T to package you could imagine yeah all right okay cheers thanks Razer Scott McConnell here mate just in regards to the referee do you think the uh the way he looked at the interpretation of the game and so forth was an advantage for the South Africans now that they play a lot more rugby in the northern hemisphere therefore they perhaps had an idea of what he was looking at can you give me example please well just just in just in the overall Tempo the around the breakdown and that sort of thing uh yeah it's quite of drawn that's quite a bro question it's hard to you know to to answer obvious some of these different techn technicalities and how the game is the game managed like we did our homework and know conversations with them but and we we did the best we could to make sure that we understood we uh wanted to show the pictures he needed and you know it's another chance for us to have a look at ourselves and ask questions of him as well but yeah yeah it's yeah a lot of penies lot of the individual stuff we can sort out though go look at yourself first yeah okay and and you mentioned the last quarter there before I mean was it how much of a disappointment was that for you given the development they put into the team since since coming in look I'm mentioned huge you know gave ourselves an opportunity to win you know probably the biggest test and the hardest place to to win a test in in World rugby which is Joe Berg and you know there was so much good and then there was a couple of moments that didn't quite go our way couple Swing Swing moments and yeah there fo0 there test footy it's a big stage and and just in terms of some individuals I mean you're happy with the way that Caleb Clark responded to his chance oh look very pleased you know he's a he's a genuine finisher and great in the air the energy that he gave us and you know he wants to select the wings in our team we got some hell of a selection uh decisions to make and you know it's good you want those guys to take those opportunities when they come on and um he took them he took it yeah okay thanks mate all the best just one final thing do you have the same panel of referees for the next test uh we got Matt Carling uh the other two yeah they normally go into a pod I'm sure they're very similar you love a ref question thanks yeah that's all right thank you last night s Ki came off with the fraction um cheekbone there's been some suggestion that was a result of Foul Play have you guys picked that up in your in your review yet uh no we haven't we haven't seen the F play uh at the time all I can remember all I heard was um there was a a dipping a glancing Clash that's Lo Hood so they swept it and said there's no fan play at the time and you know the J the uh the officer the game officers hasn't come up with anything so Raza the hucker dam Mckenzie was pretty critical of the way it was received yesterday I think there was music playing of course the plane Flor over at the same time your assessment or take away from that were you just pointed with I think I think you know it's a it's a pretty iconic um tradition isn't it in our game and everyone sort of has their own way with receiving it and uh probably that that moment oh look we're prepared for that it wasn't the first time so you know they try and take their advantage on it um we take away our advantage they believe that we've got in the hucker and I think just adds to the theater of it all really uh like it's not going to change so they just embrace it just on the last 20 minutes and with the substitutions are you getting enough strike out of the bench at the moment is that a work in progress you know um getting the right mix of Replacements Russ got the bomb squad and put so much emphasis on that this one you need to consider oh look it's clear one thing that got highly experienced guys that have played overseas guys that have been in the springwalk team for a long period of time play a big test so year looks is an advantage for them it's something you know we're all consider and you know when you look back in the last few years you've you've had a d cold who saying what look come off EV or whoever the example is it's so you to and there part of this this group you know guys to come on and learn and we just going to learn really really quickly and what the experience it was last night for them so you you look in what's all considered um and it's part of their strength in their DNA the spring box have done that over period of time but wish should have still been better and and and still still won that game at the end and uh yeah just on captown uh traditionally an area where the old blacks have had high level of support how excited are you to to get to that area and um and being being the capdown vicinity yeah the great thing uh about prob the rby championship is going back to back in the same country and you you you get a um you go s get your feet on the ground and you uh you know you've got a lot of supporters with you and it's uh it's quite unique uh and for us challenge obviously we didn't you know get the result what we wanted last night so here we go again so that's the the biggest and most important thing is for keep a really good strong mindset and realize what we' done really really well and enjoy Father's Day so a lot of messages to back home all the father's back there Happy Father's day and enjoy that and um we head down to Sunny cape then razor Ethan black out just your assessment of this performance yesterday I think he carried the ball six times inside the first 15 minutes and was a bit of a man possessed at some points there wasn't possessed that's you said it I didn't it wasn't come for me um oh look he is some eth isn't he he uh he's got no off butt and he's 100% and standing on someone's Toes or carrying the ball or or he's doing nothing you know like he just he's once he's in he's in and he's um you know I was pretty impressed I'm glad he's got a few games under his bout and his body's in a great great neck and you know we love his energy
