WHY THE COLLEGE FOOTBALL PRESEASON AP POLL TOP 25 IS BAD!!

yo what's going everybody this is Dylan talk sports my name is Dylan in today's video what I wanted to do is I want to talk about the college football 20 top 25 preseason rankings just came out and I want to kind of go ahead and give my reaction to it because there is a couple rankings here that I have some question marks about the top ranking spot being Georgia I have no problem with Ohio State number two I have a few questions I'm an AIO State fan I'm not really a fan of the being number two because I just don't buy into the I'm not buying into the hype that much or going at number three a little bit of question mark there and the biggest question mark the reigning National Championship Michigan I know I'm an Ohio State fan I know I'm supposed to hate Michigan but they are ranked at number nine they are the defending national championship or Champion team why are they at nine and let me tell you there's a lot of other teams that kind of threw out this ranking that there's some question marks so without further Ado I'm going to go and get straight into this now as always the uh top 25 list I'll have a link to it from espn.com down in the description below so if you want to very much appreciate if you do so but with the further Ado let's get into it [Music] okay as you can see here we have the top 25 I'll go and scroll down so you can kind of see it but right here this is the whole top 25 the list on the left like I said Georgia number one I have no problem with it's 2 through 25 I think we have like I said some questions as an Ohio State fan I like being a number two it's awesome that's cool it's like yeah you respect us you see us as a top team right now we're we have the second best odds for winning the national championship whenever comes to like betting odds the problem with Ohio state is our team is loaded from the secondary to the linebackers to the D line to recruits after recruits from receivers to running backs Quin joh junkins came in Jeremiah Smith the recruit coming in Caleb Downs the team is stacked everywhere the big problem is quarterback will Howard was actually just announced as the starting quarterback for the Ohio State bucke guys uh today so he's going to be the starter am I comfortable with him being the starter hell no would I be more comfortable with any of the other guys being the starter Deon Brown Julian saan Aaron Nolan Etc hell no I'm not at this current moment I'm not comfortable with any of them being the start qu back I need to see them actually go out there and prove it to me now obviously week one if Will Howard goes out there and balls out puts up 56 points and he throws like 400 yards four touchdowns sure you might grow on me but right now I don't like number two I would have liked they would been like maybe number three four something like that uh moving down the list Oregon I like them at three again kind of like with the high State like it's a respect thing they're a really good team they were really good last year but you lost a very good quarterback of B Knicks you did replace it with Dylan Gabriel but Dylan Gabriel he was with Oklahoma last year he didn't do anything crazy with Oklahoma it's not like he went won the National Championship or even made the playoffs with them I think Oregon again with the high State could have been maybe a little bit more down towards five I think looking at this list I would have probably put Texas the whole way up to two because Texas brought back a lot of their pieces and I think they are ready for just like going the whole way in this year and Alabama even though Nick sav's gone Alabama is Alabama they they should have a respect factor with college football to put them like up around number three Miss Notre day and Pen State I like them all in the top 10 now where you put them could they have been dropped down a little bit yeah here's my thing that we need to get into now Florida State they were very good last year but they lost their quarterback and Jordan Travis he broke his leg he went to the NFL what are they going to be this year I don't know like they had a backup quarterback playing last year in the bowl game against I believe Georgia and he stunk you tell me that same quarterback is going to make this team a top 10 team I don't think so and whenever I go back to Michigan like I said them being a defending national champion and being at number nine that's this is I think the worst uh seating of a defending national champion ever in college football the previous worst I believe was what LSU whenever they ranked number seven after they won national championship and everybody was like how the are they only number seven well you had to think about it Joe burrow the Heisman winner the best quarterback we've seen in college ball in a while went to the draft Justin Jefferson went to the draft Jamar Chase ended up dropping out for the co year it was basically like everybody from LSU all the pieces that made them a winner went to the NFL and I think the the I guess cfp committee or the college people who vote for these polls pretty much said okay you guys are going to stink with Michigan I see why they're doing it cuz JJ McCarthy left Blake corm left you lost a bunch of receivers you lost a lot of people on defense Jim Harbaugh obviously your head coach is now gone I just feel like after winning an National Championship you should at least be top five like for god sakes now going through this list I don't really have any other problems with most of this list Miami at number 19 why are we still putting this team in the top 25 every year we put him in the top 25 sometimes they've had him at like all the way up in the top 10 it's like why are we doing this because every year whether they're top five top 10 top 15 top 20 top 25 whatever spot they are in the top 25 they are always going to BL below it whether they come out and they are good on their non-conference schedule but then they get into ACC competition and they're just stinking it up they they end up losing six or five games throughout the year and it's like why are we putting in the top 25 every single time they may look like a top team they get good recruits so what their coach stinks they don't have good talent there starting I think most of their best talent is like recruits that are still the Freshman sophomores and there other team that I have a question mark about tchm they just fire Jimbo Fisher like I said with Miami they are always hyped out to be like this best school ever they're going to be so good and then they always blow it same thing with Miami why are they in top 25 get them the out of top 25 and like I said the rest of the teams I don't really have any questions Iowa makeing the top 25 I actually like that they're always a solid team they're always like 9 and3 10- two it's just their offens is p Tre if they could like I'm telling you if they could get get some solid offensive recruits a quarterback a decent quarterback and get a good offensive coordinator in there Iowa could be a legit Big 10 title Contender like I'm telling you with Iowa we always look at the bay 10 like it's Ohio State and Michigan's conference to lose sometimes Penn State could sneak in there Iowa could be a legit Contender if they could have an offense and looking up and down the list I mean USC maybe they're a little bit low uh Oklahoma State and Oklahoma I like kind of their spots Tennessee Clemson LSU I don't really have any questions LSU maybe could have came down a little bit because Jen D got drafted who's their quarterback I don't really know who the quarterback is maybe they saw something in their uh like pre like practices before the season like through the summer camp maybe this quarterback is going to be good they can stay in the top 15 but I'm gonna be completely honest this list of the top 25 teams I'm GNA give it a grade you could per se I'm gonna say like a solid C+ B minus on what I would give the AP pole grade I don't hate the list I don't love the list I don't even know if I really like the list it's like there's so many teams that are like in like weird spots you could have rearranged a little bit better like I said with the top 25 Ohio State Oregon Alabama Texas they all could have been probably like flip-flopped uh Michigan being all the way down at number nine that's some if you ask me and again that's coming from an Ohio State fans saying Michigan should be ranked higher but I guess the most important thing is this college ball season start soon so these preseason rankings they're good they're cool but we're going to find out a lot about these teams in the next few weeks but other than that I think I'm going to wrap up there hopefully was left completely out of top 25 that you're not saying man this team should have been ranked so much higher it's just at least give them like maybe like a 24 23 if you know what I'm saying if there
