it is Thursday which you know what that means right we do know what this means right Thursday Night Football the beginning of the NFL season it's happening oh my gosh I'm like I I want I'm I'm super excited obviously this is the greatest but also how is it already the start of football season I feel like everybody I've spoken to does not feel like summer existed like everyone was like this was the fastest summer of my life and I am I'm on that same boat I'm like where did time go anyways first day of the NFL season we know who's playing of course the Chiefs have to open up the NFL season I mean they're the defending Super Bowl champs right but that also brings us to the thought of you know we're going to see the the stars of the Chiefs right we're going to see Patrick momes we're going to see Harrison buter people are excited to see him right he's he's been in the headlines a lot this off season we're going to see Travis Kelce but if we're going to see Travis Kelce does that mean we're also going to see his girlfriend Taylor Swift probably right there's no way Taylor Swift would miss the opening game for her boyfriend no chance right and here's what we know about Taylor Swift here's what we have learned about her throughout the course of the past season when she suddenly introduced herself to Chief's Kingdom and also the NFL World never thought those worlds would Collide but here we are 2024 and that's the situation we're in Taylor Swift is the only way you can really explain it as far as her crossover into the NFL complete marketing machine I mean that's that's her her really her role in the pop culture world as well but when you are so successful When Everything You Touch quite literally turns to Gold you got to be a little bit careful about the things that you touch the things that you do the Persona that you exemplify right so of course the NFL knowing that they have this pot of gold in their hands in the form of Travis Kel's girlfriend they've got to use her to their advantage this year so you better bet we're going to be seeing cutaways videos all over social media on television of Taylor Swift as she watches the Chiefs open up the NFL season now in terms of her being a marketing machine listen to these facts market watch reported back in February that the NFL benefited from having Swift around the Chiefs saying the Brand's value increased to 122 million in just a couple of months here's another fact for you this is according to Advent Venture media digital marketing not only did Taylor Swift help the NFL receive close to 10 times the exposure over Super Bowl Sunday a brand receives during a 30 second commercial so a 30 second commercial uh they received over and over again I mean the the exposure right the NFL for this exact same spot had they have known how much exposure would have gotten because of Taylor Swift would had to have pay about the same 9,500,000 to replicate the level of awareness generated by Taylor Swift fans that is insane that is crazy that she was able to multiply the exposure that a brand gets over the course of a 30second commercial by that much I mean Brands love Taylor Swift right now whoever got in early for those Super Bowl commercials congratulations you had no idea how much those spots were going to be worth but not only that not only has she increased the Brand's value increased the marketing value for the brands that decided to publicize their stuff during the Super Bowl she also has opened up the NFL to an entirely new fan base over the course of the past year NFL viewership Rose 53% in the ages 12 to 17 demographic not only that but CBS Sports announced that female viewership for the Super Bowl this past last year was also up 9% from the Super Bowl from the year prior so again seeing all of these facts I mean this is what you want as a brand you don't just want to feel like okay yeah more people seem to be watching more people seem to be talking about it these are cold hard facts and when you have evidence like this hell yeah you're going to lean into Taylor Swift so now they have concocted their hype video right the NFL does this every year they have a hype video going into the season so people really can get like those those emotions going right getting excited for the first game of the season and of course who was featured in this year's height video well there was plenty of people uh we had New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rogers uh we had the Indianapolis Colts quarterback hey Anthony Richardson uh former New England Patriots head coach Bill bich he made his way in there and of course Taylor Swift made her way in there along with the super B defending Chiefs now the interesting part about all of this I mentioned all of these stud players in the NFL Swift was featured five times in the video that was more than everybody that I already mentioned and also more than other players like Lamar Jackson Dak Prescott Josh Allen Daniel Jones the NFL sees more value in showing Taylor Swift than they do their star quarterbacks and and with numbers like I already presented to you I totally get it uh now not only did she generate hype and money for the NFL but also she generated a lot of Buzz and hype for her boyfriend Travis Kelce I mean we already know throughout the course of last season he G became the face of several different brands remember he earn the nickname Mr fizer so he got that I mean gosh who knows how much money he made from that ad alone uh but also recently the latest Money Maker for Travis Kelce also his brother Jason Kelce the two of them just signed a $100 million deal for their podcast New Heights to go on the Amazon wondery Network so I mean talk about a nice payday heading into the season that's a that's a nice way to kick things off right now we got to get to a little bit of drama surrounding all of this because you know not everything can be all unicorns and Roses all of us have really been wondering if this relationship is for real right even even at the beginning we we were more so just wondering if it would last I mean there were bets being placed on with this last a couple of weeks a couple of months would they get married would he propose on the field after the Super Bowl remember there was all of these rumors and idea swirling but I actually don't know that anyone was really doubting whether it was real or not I think people probably just thought maybe it was more of a quick romance um but now there's the idea that this could have all been contrived for both of their financial and personal gains could that have been the case well on Tuesday this is where things get very interesting a contract surfaced on the internet claiming to be about Travis's relationship with Taylor Swift and included in this Alleged Document Leak suggests a Swift-Kelce break up?! contract plans for a breakup not only were the plans for a breakup in there there was an exact date as to when this contrived breakup would actually go down giving obviously everyone the illusion that their year-long love story was nothing but a lie and a sham now immediately the pr agency whose letterhead you can see on top of that document full scope immediately full scope PR came out and said that this was totally bogus this was nothing but fake news saying that these contract pages and what people were presented it it initially surfaced on Reddit which by the way it's no longer on Reddit um full scope PR said this was entirely false and fabricated and were not created issued or authorized by the agency the representative also said that they have called in lawyers and they don't expect to find the culprit but obviously they want to shut this down as quickly as possible they do not want their name all over this controversy so I mean do we go ahead and believe that they actually had nothing to do with this or was there the unfortunate possibility that this is a real contract and it somehow just got leaked Maybe by someone in the agency or I don't know I don't know the internet there's there's got to be some type of pathway where someone can hack into somebody's system right and find stuff and therefore release it I don't know there's there's a lot of possibilities but if we're going to go with what the pr agency said then ladies and gentlemen you have nothing to worry about Taylor Swift fans you have nothing to worry about Chiefs fans you have nothing to worry about and also the brands that hope to advertise during Chiefs games NFL games and the Super Bowl which by the way who you never know the Chiefs could make their way back into it easy uh as of right now you have nothing to worry about but let's get into some of the details just for fun that we're in this leaked fake document well let call it a fake document for now cuz we don't know um here's what it said they are both committed to their careers and personal growth this was as far as the breakup was concerned they remain friends and wish each other the best that was how the breakup were to go if this document were correct which again we don't know that it was um the paperwork also states that the announcement would focus on Mr Kel's personal growth by Framing the breakup as a quote natural part of life it will highlight his commitment to his career and his ongoing achievements in the sports industry they also plan to send it to Major media Outlets with a press release to ensure broad coverage okay that's what's out there full scope says it's not true and as we are about to kick off the NFL season I'm sure this controversy this drama is the last thing that Travis Kelce one swirling him as he steps onto the field for the first time uh okay but You Know Travis is we're gonna go the route of they're not breaking up Travis Kelce is all in on Taylor Swift we saw plans for them to move in together we saw a mansion they were supposedly building in the Kansas City area in the offseason Taylor Swift was going to move in there when she wasn't touring we saw Travis joining her internationally on tour doing a very good job in the boyfriend role uh but what about Taylor's what does she do for Travis Kelce is this a two-way street apparently according to Travis it is with him even as going as far to say on the Rich Eisen show that she's even drafting up plays for her bow listen what is what's happening here she does love she she has done she has just been so open to learning the game she didn't know much about the the rules and everything and I think uh what makes her so good in her profession is that she's so detailed in every every aspect of it exist like there there are actually something written down on a piece she's a little biased she's a little biased and just creates place for me so we'll see we'll see if they can make it to coach reads uh his his office okay I don't know that was a cute clip I like that that was cute it was like I'm very complimentary towards Taylor it kind of felt like Travis really knows like the ins and outs of her she's very detail oriented but I'm going to admit she's very biased I I that was cute I actually hope they don't break up I hope all of this is actually a lie because I don't know maybe it's just me loving love uh but that was cute I like that um okay so provided all as well which we hope it is in Tay and Travis's world what should we expect at the NFL season opener starring the Chiefs well again the pop star is expected to be there uh Casey playing the Ravens this is going to be a fantastic game not because Taylor Swift is going to be there but this is a rematch guys of last year's AFC Championship game we saw the Chiefs win in Baltimore and that was the game in which Swifts with in which Taylor Swift remember she made her way down onto the field to embrace Travis Kelce after the victory and it was the one that went super viral and and I feel like where they really were showing each other together I mean it wasn't the first time cuz we had seen them remember like walking in the back hallways of stadiums together but I feel like this was like one of the very big moments in their romance so what are we going to see again tonight Taylor Swift like we said probably going to be there but who else is going to be in attendance cheering on number 87 here is what Travis had to say on his new height podcast to his brother Jason when asked should I go should I go to the game am I invited I've never been in this situation I don't have anything to do with her I got a ticket for you but that's about it all the other tickets are sold so I can't invite dad you know how B it gets dad's are coming of course dad's going to be there I'm sure mom's going to be there too you know Mom and Taylor they're like besties of course the whole family has to be there but yeah I'm sure this game is you know effing sold out because who doesn't want to go to see an awesome football game Chiefs Ravens and potentially get the first Glimpse this NFL season of Miss Taylor Swift cheering on Travis Kelce I don't know I'm here for it I like it I I was I was like one of those I was kind of a hater in the beginning actually you know what before we get into this let's bring in Amber Harden cuz I feel like she's going to have a lot to say about this conversation as well so let's go ahead and bring it out contributor Amber Harding okay Amber I feel like everybody OutKick’s Amber Harding was a little bit of a hater when this romance started like we were all like oh this is lame like come on whatever this isn't going to last now I'm like really seeing like the potential for this relationship I don't know In that clip of Travis that we just showed it was cute I don't know he was bragging about his girlfriend she so talented she's so detail oriented like he has her involved in his football life which a lot of guys would be like no get out of here like this isn't for you this is my thing I don't know now I'm like I'm I feel like I'm really buying into the relationship and I hope that because I'm suddenly buying in I hope that these PR documents that were leaked that you know they were deemed to be fake by the pr agency but I actually hope that they are just just that and they're fake but I don't know what do you what do you think about all this I we are such girls Charlie because I saw I was watching you on the zoom when they they played that clip and both of us had the same face we were both like oh uh so loved that um I we were all a little bit we were all kind of haters at the beginning I think you and I were a little bit on this show too and I know that like there's there was some obvious skepticism about the genuiness of their relationship and why not right because that wouldn't be the first time that two famous people have gotten together for publicity but the one thing that gave me pause through the whole thing is that like Taylor really stood to gain nothing from this relationship right like it's been great for Travis in the NFL it's made them a zillion dollars Travis went from popular football player to A-list celebrity when he started dating her I mean that we have that1 00 million podcast deal plus like all of his commercials I read something that in the last 30 days he's been in like more commercial airings than anyone else in the world and that's any actor celebrity athlete so Travis has gotten really really rich off his relationship with Taylor and I don't think that that's the reason he's in it I do believe that their relationship is genuine but here's another theory for you what if his PR team put out that leaked document just to generate some chatter ahead of the season opener tonight and then they went down and shut down their own leak um so what if it was fake but they're the ones who released it I don't know I have no basis for believing that but that was kind of like where my head was at like what they just wanted to get back in the news cycle real quick you know that is not a theory that I'm totally opposed to buying into but here's like you mentioned before Travis Kelce was the one who really benefited from this relationship right I mean listen I have been an NFL fan for a long time so I always I always knew who Travis Kelce was and if you were a sports fan you knew who Travis Kelce was because he's a part of the Chiefs and they're building a dynasty right now and he's always been a part of that and he's always been Pat Mahomes number one guy and I remember before when he was dating Kayla a Cole like I would see him at Super Bowl parties um he was always like a kind of a a personality right like a larger than life personality like he's always been the the class clown if you will of the NFL so he's always been around notable but now he's reached a totally different level of stardom like now he's entered much more into the pop culture realm where he has become a household name like if you mention Travis Kelce you're like oh yeah I know him he's Taylor sli's boyfriend oh yeah he also plays for the Chiefs but still doesn't matter you know you know who Travis Kelce is for whatever reason so what benefit I because Taylor Swift obviously has to be in on this if if Travis is like hey boo which I have to imagine he calls her boo that sounds like totally something Travis K you would call Taylor Swift hey boo uh I'm thinking about generating some press to you know right before the NFL season starts what do you think about a fake breakup press release like how how weird would that be like sitting down at the table with your boyfriend and being like okay well what should it say like what should we put in there is this is this going to make me look bad or you think this will be good for you will it be good for both of us like how weird would that be if that were your life which we do know that it is some Hollywood couple's lives which is just bizarre to really think about yeah I mean I can't possibly even begin to compare my life to Taylor Swift's life so I I don't know I don't know maybe that's something that that happens that happens frequently but they did the pr agency shut it down so fast which is led me to believe like was was that on purpose because I like I tend to believe everything in the celebrity world is is calculated um especially for someone as big as as Taylor Swift but yeah I mean again I don't know what she had to gain from any of this from this relationship that's why I I do believe it's genuine and that's why i' I've like even even though I was a little bit of a hater at the beginning I have believed it's genuine because she was before Travis Kelce she was the most famous person in the world arguably she was already in the middle of a world tour she was already a billionaire like she didn't need the extra publicity the NFL clearly did and they're capitalizing on it I mean every from showing her at every game last year making all that money and then putting her in the hype video five times like more than any other player like more than any actual player so the NFL is loving the money that Taylor is making them but I'm not sure Taylor's getting anything out of this other than just hopefully a good healthy relationship she better be getting some free tickets could you imagine if they were like hey we still have to charge you she'd be like I'm sorry what uh last Theory the the press release was real and they actually did have plans to break up this month and now as a result of it being leaked they can't break up and they're miserable and Taylor show like oh my God you idiots now I have to spend more time with this guy I mean we got to throw that theory out there too that they actually hate each other and that now they have to spend more time together and be extra lydy as a result of the idea that they might break up and how much longer now do they have to push out their relationship I mean we we we have to we have to really evaluate Amber any and all potential possibilities it's true or we could go the other way and this is if this isn't a Hollywood movie I don't know what is maybe it was a real contract maybe they originally planned on breaking up but then through their time together they fell madly in love and now they don't want to fulfill the oh it's like a Hallmark Christmas movie I just got chills did I just get E I just got chills that was weird okay so I'm I'm I'm I'm definitely a woman uh there's no doubt about that um okay I like let's end on that theory that is a movie we should pitch that to some movie director somewhere and if not like about tayor and Travis just like that general idea Hollywood couple perfect love it okay Amber thank you for putting that into my brain that's the perfect note to end this discussion on um okay let's Shane Gillis Backs The Fighting Irish move into some college football Amber because as excited as we are for the NFL season to kick off we are now a couple weeks deep into college football and and Notre Dame just had a massive victory over Texas A&M uh that was college game day for ESPN this past weekend and the Fighting Irish they were on the road tough environment traveling to College Station for that Saturday night Showdown against the agies Marcus Freeman one of the biggest wins of his career and Notre jve just looked really solid uh this is a 23-13 road Victory again I said in a very aggressive tough environment and what better way to be rewarded Notre Dame's football team then to run into none other than Shane Gillis in their locker room after the game I mean it's not normally a guy you'd expect to see in your locker room but they'll take it uh Shane Gillis is a massive Notre Dame fan so he was just there to congratulate the guys and congratulate them on a job well done um I don't know Amber what would you feel like if you were a college player and you just walked into your locker room it's it's very bizarre you're like oh Shen Gillis what's up I mean I guess that could be a normal occurrence if you're you know on your way to becoming a a super stud team but it's pretty awesome yeah I think I think celebrity appearances are pretty normal in the NFL but I think in college that's a that's got to be a cool experience when you're a college kid and Shane Gillis who's one of the biggest comedians right now which kind of a glow up for him right going from being fired from Saturday Night Live a few years ago and now he's super popular comedian he got to stick it to Saturday Night Live when when he went on there um few months back now he's living his childhood dream and hanging out in the Notre Dame locker room he's been a Notre Dame fan since he was a kid um I I dug in a little bit and found out that his grandpa and his cousin both played football at Notre Dame so um he has talked about before his dad taking him to the spring game when he was a little kid and so when I saw that photo I laughed so hard because I was like he looks like a little kid he's so excited he's just just got this like big old grin on his face holding up the jersey that they proba somebody probably gifted him so good for him that guy that guy is living everybody's dream right now he is he is living everybody's dream uh and Notre Dame keeps up winds like that who knows maybe he'll pop up in the locker room after everyone maybe he'll join the team I don't let's just start throwing out random theories for every single story that we end up covering on the show I feel like that feels appropriate okay so not only were celebrities showing up in the Notre Dame locker room but also showing up on the UNCC campus Amber uh John Rich was at John Rich throws Rager for UNC Fraternity Bros UNC throwing probably one of the biggest concerts of his recent career uh this concert was called flag stock and this was a part of the Epic rager that we were all expecting remember there was that GoFundMe that took place last fall or no it was this spring rather um after there was the pro Palace protest taking place on uncc's campus you saw the UNCC frat Bros who we also got a uh vision of at the RNC recently they showed up and they were the Patriots that were holding up the American flag restoring order after these Pro Palestine protesters were trying to take down the American flag and hoist up the Palestinian flag well the GoFundMe after these Heroes so patriotically stood for for America and the rights that we have and again restored order in in an environment where there really wasn't any uh a GoFundMe was started online they raised $515,000 400 $515 $492 sorry I don't know if I said that right I'm really math is not my thing they raised $515,500 there we go that is the exact number well anyways as a result of that they recently threw FL stock playoff of Woodstock obviously um and it was headlined by John rich and they were also joined by Lee Greenwood Aaron Lewis John andresik from Five for Fighting I don't know all of these people by the way uh and also Roman Renee Ramirez of sublime I do know Sublime that's a major throwback uh so huge concert uh obviously like rock Vibes and uh it was a thank you to these guys to the heroes from UNCC who stood up for the American flag uh and it's just so cool to see because we're all waiting to see like how this was going to what the money was going to be used for and you know $515,000 that's a lot of money so obviously the performers they got paid out but even just building the stage itself costs $100,000 you got to have Refreshments for the people involved you got to probably all the setup who knows I don't know if all of the money got spent I think some of it ended up getting donated as well well but Amber I I think earlier we had made some type of pitch to be invited I'm just not sure did our invites did they get lost or what exactly happened there because why weren't we invited to flagst you know I was waiting I was waiting by my mailbox never got an invitation wasn't really sure then I thought maybe I would be an Evite checked my email checked my spam folder nothing nothing happened so I'm pretty disappointed in that um and I actually I would have really appreciated this concert because I mean you read off you read off the the names of the the performers and it's it's funny because uh those are all guys like Aaron Lewis um the guy from Sublime the guy from Five for Fighting like this would have been a hell of a rager 25 years ago but when when I was looking at that I was like do these kids even know who these guys are I mean like I'm sure they had so much fun and they probably were drinks were flowing and they probably didn't even care who was up there I'm sure they had a great time anyway but yeah I was like that was an interesting list but then again I feel like it would have been tough to find some of the more popular younger people because it's not cool to be patriotic right now you know you don't want to be accused of being a trump supporter so yeah um there's definitely a list of musicians that have come out in support of Donald Trump so far um so maybe they should have picked from but yeah you're right this is definitely out of their era uh as far as I'm sure the kids were like who are these people what's going on can we do tiktock dances can we do tiktock dances to these to these songs otherwise uh I'm just going to go drink my drink over here and uh whatever uh bottom line though cool event awesome that the money was put to good use uh I'm glad to still see these UNCC frat Bros being celebrated uh just like they were a couple of weeks ago at the Republican National Convention I also wonder on the UN campus like what type of Love they're going to get this year I don't know if any of them graduated already but like are they going to be the big men on campus are they going to get all the girls you know are they going to be I don't know I I'm just going to be interested I they should do a vlog you know like UNCC frat Bros 2024 I don't know whatever and they just take us around canvas and we see how people react to seeing them it would be that would be fun maybe they're watching that's a good idea we have so many good ideas today somebody give us credit for for one of these things uh no they should they should start a Tik Tok account they could be like the Montana boys um like Kristen Cavalier's boyfriend except maybe not so cringey um but uh yeah that's that's a great idea I would love to see what what they're up to and how they're continuing their uh their fight on campus for for the American flag yeah on the not we have to talk about now we have to talk about the mark esis guy from Montana boys who by the way I don't have any clue who the Montana boys are I literally do not know what that means are they I mean they're a music group right no I think they're just some boys who are from Montana um but they so they have a Tik toac account and I wish we had planned this ahead of time so we could have shown some videos but they have this Tik Tac account where they just they play a song it's usually like there's a Luke comb song that they do over and over and over again and they all stand in a line and as they come forward they each person like lip syns a line from that song and they're all like good-look dudes and so I think that like that's how they have so many followers but it's to the point now where like most shirtless in the videos right yeah they look I mean they're they're so silly like I mean maybe if I was 22 years old I would eat it up but I'm not so I just look at it and and laugh like oh these children but apparently so thank you for telling me that work apparently it does work I had no idea I had no idea who these guys were I just assumed they were like a music group but they're not even they're just a Tik Tock like faux boy band but you're right if you were 22 you would have eaten it up but Kristen cavaler is 37 and she like completely is in love with this Mark Estus guy who's 20 I think he is 22 or 24 and like they're like full-on Romancing do you think that okay so now that we're theorizing you think that this is going to last I mean for everyone also Christen cavaler she's one of the main characters from lagona Beach which aired on MTV like as one of the very first reality shows to ever happen so I mean she's she's getting back into the spotlight though and she has a very successful podcast anyways do you think this is going to last is this real do I think it's going to last forever no but it has lasted longer than I thought it was going to like I mean I I say this with all the love in the world for for Kristen but I I am always skeptical about relationships where a man is in his early 20 and the woman is older because men in their early 20s aren't thinking about you know eventually wanting a family and those sort of things that maybe an older woman isn't in a position to bring them so um that's probably going a little deeper but I I I I tend to I tend to not take men in their early 20s seriously when it comes to uh relationships like that yeah apparently though he recently said though that he wants to have a baby with Kristen like that's the goal so I'm like okay all right does Christ want to start all over and have a baby again though I I don't know I think she does I think she said she also is on board like they want to have a kid like I don't know she also just went on her podcast and said that like the things that they do in their bedroom together is the best of her life so like I don't know they're putting it all out there right now I we'll see what happens I think she just said that to make Butler jealous for sure honestly yes but I wonder if Jay Cutler is jealous that's another question is he actually jealous I doubt it or is he like okay you are lame I have no idea anyways relationship drama whether I mean I don't like it's when it's my own but like other we're going to theorize on Haley avender is dating one of the Cowboys players Jake Ferguson he's a tight end now here's the problem not that they're dating but the thing is they're only dating and Jake Ferguson tattoos Haley Cavinder’s initials on finger Jake Ferguson just got her name tattooed on his finger amid the romance which that's usually not a good idea like that's kind of a jinxing type thing you know like people are like you don't get the tattoo because then you inevitably end up breaking up I don't know I mean they're they're definitely cute together they're both like hot people and you know like hot people dating other hot people it's just like you know it's a nice picture to look at but like do do we think it was a good idea that he went as far to get her name tattooed on his finger cuz what if it doesn't work then what I mean I guess that's a small tattoo you covered up with something else but could jinx it yeah I mean we'll we'll operate under the assumption that this is a real tattoo maybe it was maybe they just drew it on and they wanted to make a funny Tik Tok video and get people talking um but if it is a real tattoo I don't know that's like that's like when people get uh tattoos like Super Bowl tattoos because they think their team's going to go all the way and then their team never wins the Super Bowl when they get a tattoo like that so then they end up spending thousands of dollars to get it covered or they just walk around with this completely illegitimate tattoo so I I I do question the decision to get someone's name tattooed on you before uh before there's a a paper contract written up with the government saying that they are they are Conta contractually tied to you but uh I I don't know maybe maybe they just know maybe it's love at first sight they've been dating for I think like over a little over a year now a year or something like that so maybe they just may they know it's gonna happen well all I have to say is I'm happy he didn't get it tattooed on his ring finger because that was what I was afraid we were going to see that he was going to show it on his ring like his wedding ring finger and then that that would have been Maybe a little step too far but the pinky is whatever it's cute okay all right Amber you have really made me think about a lot this morning and now I'm going to have to continue those thoughts and and we're going to have to see how all of these different stories play out and then revisit to see if we were right or wrong when we actually have more answers as time goes by so thank you so much thank you Charlie all right everybody we have nothing to theorize about this last story this is just flat out Insanity in Joey Chestnut breaks another record my mind and this is coming from a girl who loves to eat but uh Joey Chestnut just broke the world record again eating 83 hot dogs in 10 minutes and if you don't believe me it's on Netflix so you can go watch it there and see it for yourself uh here's exactly how it went down Joey Chestnut who we all know was like the champion of hot dog eating the guy who recently wasn't able to compete in the official contest cuz he signed with the vegan hot dog company well one of his longtime Rivals a guy named takuru takur takaru I'm actually not sure how to say his name takaro Kobayashi we all his last name is more so what he goes by um they just renewed their competitive rivalry they had a competitive eating special on Netflix called unfinished beef very clever name might I throw in and Chestnut won the contest I mean he totally won he blew him out of the water Kobayashi he won 83 to 66 now I already told you he ate 83 hot dogs in 10 minutes that's the world record but the other part of that is he didn't dunk them in water which is disgusting I know like when we watch the contest it's like oh it just becomes a soggy mess but that seems like it would make it a little more easy to eat so much food in such a short amount of time anyways he didn't use any water uh and he won $100,000 in prize money as a result of this and his goal he said afterwards he's like I've been trying to hit 80 hot dogs for years but without Kobayashi longtime rival I wasn't able to right like he needed that like competitive Spirit from his longtime rival to be able to reach his goal and I guess he drove him to do just that these guys first face off in 2009 this is going to be the last time though because Kobayashi he actually retired back in May but he came out of the woodwork because why not right for Old Time sake face his old foe Joey Chestnut so Kobayashi now is completely hung it up Joey Chestnut I wonder what his new goal is now that he just broke what was his former goal of 80 hot dogs uh set a world record we'll now see what happens for Joey Chestnut and Kobayashi I hope for your sake unless you really like hot dogs that you never have to eat another hot dog for the rest of your life there were plenty of other Finer Foods that you could dine on uh now that you are retired anyways uh between the two competitors the record now stands at 4 and2 obviously with Chestnut in the lead okay everybody that's it
