EACH OF FELONY MENACING AND RECKLESS ENDANGERMENT. >> IT WAS GABBY EASTERWOOD IS IN CONIFER TONIGHT WITH THE STORY. PUT ALL HAPPENED JUST DOWN THE WAY HERE ON PLEASANT A PARK ROAD. THE 2 TEENS WERE ACTUALLY ON THAT PROPERTY TRYING TO FIND METS TO SPEAK WITH HIM ABOUT TAKING HOMECOMING PICTURES. THERE. >> AND INNOCENT INQUIRY TURNED VIOLENT LATE YESTERDAY AFTERNOON AT THIS CONIFER HOME. WE WERE INITIALLY DISPATCHED UP THERE REGARDING AN UNWANTED PERSON. BUT BEFORE WE ARRIVED. >> WE WE'RE NOW DEALING WITH THE SHOOTING JEFFERSON COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE SAYS THAT THE 2 TEEN BOYS WERE SEEN ON CAMERA BY MET HIS GIRLFRIEND AND ALERTED HIM AND AUTHORITIES TO TRESPASSING. THEY WANTED TO TALK TO THE HOMEOWNER ABOUT MAYBE USING A PART OF THE PROPERTY THEY WEREN'T THERE. SO THE 2 KIDS WALKED BACK TO THEIR CAR AND WE'RE IN THE MIDDLE OF WRITING A NOTE TO THE HOMEOWNERS. WE KNOW THAT THAT ACTUALLY COULD BECAUSE WE HAVE THE NOTE. >> THEY WERE WRITING THAT NOTE INSIDE THEIR VEHICLE OFF PROPERTY WHEN THAT'S ARRIVED. >> HE DROVE UP. HE GOT OUT THE CAR. HE POINTED A GUN AND HE FIRED. THERE WAS NO CONVERSATION. THESE KIDS WERE NO LONGER ON THE PROPERTY. BY THE TIME THE HOMEOWNER ARRIVED, THEY WERE IN THEIR CAR WRITING A NOTE ON A PUBLIC ROADWAY. BUT WITH ALL THE EVIDENCE, >> THEY LIKELY WON'T BE CHARGING THEM. THERE'S NO QUESTION THAT THEY THEY STEPPED ON TO THE PROPERTY, CAUSING A TRESPASS. BUT BASED ON EVERYTHING THAT WE'VE LEARNED, THEIR INTENTIONS WERE APPROPRIATE. THEY DOESN'T APPEAR THAT WE WOULD WISH US THAT THEY INTENDED COMMITTING ANY CRIMES OTHER THAN STEPPING OVER THE FENCE TO GO TO THE DOOR, KNOCK AND TALK TO THE HOMEOWNER. >> MATT SAYS CURRENT TERM RUNS THROUGH NOVEMBER. 26 27 ON TOWN COUNCIL. WE DID REACH OUT TO MOUNTAIN VIEW ABO
