LISTEN TO HER STORY. >> I'VE BEEN ANGRY. I'VE BEARS. THIS WOMAN TELLS FOX 31 SHE'S BEEN LIVING WITH THESE BEDBUGS, CRAWLING ALL OVER HER APARTMENT SINCE LAST SUMMER. FROM WRITES ON JUST BELOW WHAT'S YOU'VE HEARD ME. AND SO IF FOR HE SAYS, THE BUGS DROVE HER DAUGHTER OUT OF THE HOME MY DAUGHTER'S BEDROOM. SHE WOKE UP WITH COVERED ABOUT 1000 OVER MOST OF THE FURNITURE HAD TO BE THROWN OUT. THE TENANT SAYS HER LANDLORD HAS ATTEMPTED TO TREAT INFESTED UNITS IN THE BUILDING, BUT NOTHING'S WORKING IN HER HOME. THERE'S A STATUTE SPEAKS DIRECTLY TO THIS. THE PROBLEM SOLVERS ASKED REAL ESTATE AND RENTERS RIGHTS. ATTORNEY ERIC NESBITT ABOUT WHAT SHE COULD DO. YOU DO HAVE THE OPTION TO PURSUE A CLAIM UNDER THE WARRANTY OF HABITABILITY. >> FOR ACTUAL DAMAGES OR TO HAVE YOU READ REDUCE. BUT A LOT OF THAT THAT CLAIMED REQUIRED NOTICE OF THE LANDLORD. TENANT TELLS FOX 31 SHE JUST WANTS THE BED BUGS TO MOVE OUT AND LEAVE HER IN PEACE SO SHE CAN GET BACK TO LIVING A NORMAL LIFE. SHE WANTS TO PUT PRESSURE ON THE LANDLORD TO USE MORE ADVANCED METHODS TO GET RID OF THE BED BUGS. USING HEAT AND OTHER METHODS.
