ree Davis joined here in the booth as always by David after that play this offense can think about being really aggressive first and 10 from the 24 able to scr three yards out of the that one somehow it's second and seven kept it on the ground on first down now back to the line he'll pull it on the read makes it past to marker and he surges up to the 36 yd line and they'll move the chains how aggressive will they get on First and 10 trying to make magic on the scramble and he gets out of there and gets some yardage and gets down without taking any punishment the Jaguars have it with them the first and 10 wide receiver coming across in motion looking to go up top on first down going to try to pop one on the screen they make the stop but not before the screen has hit him for a first down and much more really good execution by this offense looking to move it through the air quickly complete I love the anticipation on that throw by the QB on the out route you got to throw it before the receiver comes out of his break nice work running back searching for a hole defense holds their ground pick up of a yard it's at the 26 the ball's at the 26 it's third and short and they love to pick up the first down and avoid settling for the field [Applause] goal it's a fumble oh the defense ought to go buy a lottery ticket because that ball somehow bounced right back to them they'll keep it just outside the Red Zone first and 10 from the 21 and it's incomplete if you're going to take a hit like that you might as well hang on to the ball this offense has a second down play quarterback on the keeper a strong tackle and wrap up from the junior ninth play of the opening drive coming up but now they face a third [Music] down from the gun wants to pass pressure coming and he tried to make something happen with his feet but they stopped him short and it'll bring up a fourth down they'll leave the offense out there to try to get it past the marker and pick up the first [Applause] grabbed behind the line it's Ivory touchdown Jaguars What A Catch and run for six I love the aggressive nature in the play calling there in the opening drive of the game you have an opportunity un obviously South Alabama has it back to Jaguar offense going to work that last Drive really productive David wound up with a touchdown they'll try to do it again yeah so I don't expect to change too much re got the everything work I would expect to keep pushing this B down and just imagine if they could put another touchdown on the board right here they could capture so much momentum in this game with backto back TDS able to get just a few before sliding to avoid the hits here comes the offense on second down they'll see if they can find some Running Room on the right here they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one line is set on third down my I always burn it from the gun wants to pass by has a little extra time he's out of bounds but not before picking up enough for the first down the Jaguars are flying down the field off play action on first [Applause] down makes the connection no out ofs on that one and it'll be a first down first snap in the Red Zone on this drive they're trying to get to it escapes the sack but he can't get away again and down he goes and the trickeration is not so tricky a first down sack can be a drive killer now it's second and 13 incompleted man is he lucky to get that one back defense that close to an interception facing third and long from the 21 and hoping not to settle for a field goal looking to throw and he needs a chunk play and the incomplete pass will bring up fourth down nice job by the defense they're mixing up a first down for the offense from the shotgun the hand off to the back and knock him down after a gain of three to the 23 after the three- yd pickup they come to the line Second and seven the give to the running back from the shotgun he's stuffed after picking up one to the 23 now facing a third and long he'll keep it himself got room at the 35 lowers that shoulder delivers the blow major gaps in that defense and he got loose and they finally knock him down at the 41 moving the running back trying to get the D to tip its hand makes his man miss and that defense is there to guide him out of bounds after a short gain got three on first down it's second and [Applause] seven the p and throw off the RPO they stop him almost immediately short gain there and still a little ground cover pick up the first will they keep it on the ground again here on third down at 20 he's got space and there they go again another huge gain on the ground and the Jaguars racing to the line in the hurry [Applause] up zings it complete to the right crisp execution in the passing game and they've got it down to the three now on second and [Applause] goal and the pass is incomplete thanks to a big hit from the three yd line they'll try it again on Third and goal from the gun wants to pass and he Sprints to the end zone touchdown South Alabama no step back in week three they have been sharp the offense set for a first down play easy he'll start this drive firing he'll try to do it himself on the run and he'll slide to avoid the big hit and here comes the offense on second down the back goes in motion on second down they'll take to the air they finally get him on the ground but not before he rips off enough for a first down they'll line up right at the 48 yd line on First and 10 used the play fake now to throw and a nice pick up on the run and gets down to avoid contact the Jaguars will line it up on First and 10 he's looking to throw it he's going to run it he's brought down but not before he turned that into a positive play and picked up a few on the Run let's see what they've got on second down he's looking to throw trying to escape and get it himself they finally make the stop but he shows why he is dangerous on the run twoo and he's got a first down no big secret what they're trying to do here they've kept it on the ground it's first and 10 quarterback doing what he does best he can move and he has a solid gain on the play before sliding going to work in the Red Zone they can pick up the first down without getting it into the End Zone after the run run run now to throw so close to that Endzone he could almost taste it but it'll be first and goal for this offense defense is backed up shadow of the goal post trying to defend their own End Zone they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one can the defense stop him again on second and goal grab near the sticks it's Ivory touchdown Jaguars and they this offense starts deep in a hole off the boot looking for his man getting some heat finds in crease at the 20 and they'll finally catch up to him but not before a big chunk of yardage is picked up on first down here comes this offense he wants to throw and the pressure gets there down he goes at the 18 so let's see if they can make up for that loss on second down from the 18 pocket starts to collapse they make the stop but not before he takes a chunk out of what they need to move the sticks let's see what call they have on Third and long from the 28 looking to throw and he needs a bunch he'll P it down still running at the 40 gets it to the 4 6yd line first down for this offense the Jaguars are marching down the field he'll come out throwing on first down they'll rip off eight on that play it's second and [Applause] two [Applause] y he finds his man he steps out of bounds but he's got enough for a first down and the Jaguars in the hurry up all right defense it ain't working right they're stringing together several first downs here we're going to need to change this up find something we can disrupt the quarterback and and mess up this offense a little bit and they'll finally catch up to him but not before a big chunk of yardage is picked up looking to pass inside the Red Zone got it into the end zone bang Alabama a method drive that they finish off by guys we'll have another look at this South Alabama offense they've been out standing here in this first half might as well try for The Knockout Punch David yeah confidence has out defense swarming on that loose ball it'll be a turnover the offense lining up for a first down [Applause] play and maybe he'll get back to the line of scrimmage but no more than that offense gets set for second down he'll do it himself nowhere to run on that when he loses four on the carry a third and long coming up here looking downfield and he needs a bunch and the defense is there to stop him short of the first down looking for a productive play on first [Applause] down they'll start this drive with a pass he Lofts it high and deep down the left side and it goes through his hands oh he had an explosive play right there for the taking but couldn't reel it in wide receiver shows motion gets it out fast sweet feet on the move and they do a really good job not as easy as it looks to get those blocks and he picks up the first down easy he's going to pass he lobs one high down the and that'll be in complete they tried to hit him with a big one on first down didn't connect last time let's see if they throw it again on second down wants to go up top caught in the back field it's Woods oh he's so hard to get on the ground he's got room and it is well blocked as they pick up enough fivey loss some work to do now to keep this drive humming at second and 15 they bring him down but a solid pick up to put them in position to pick up a first down this def just can't get off the field heat just like to see the quarterback have a clock going off in his head forcing him to get rid of that football can't take a sack on first down and go to situation and move your offense [Applause] backwards he's got it on the Move they'll get it down to the8 yd line on that throw and catch and the defense is backed up against the wall L to fire It In The End Zone on Third and goal and here's a fumble way behind the line Scoops it up still alive ball the ball security doesn't what the [Music] was here comes the offense on first down big [Music] boy he thirsty bro but he don't want to drink out [Music] that he's looking to throw he HS one deep down the left side and it falls incomplete is luy to have it Defender right there almost headed in his grab on Third and long try to convert complete obliteration so far this is what an elite team does they know they're better they go out they take the figurative sledgehammer and hit them right between the eyes and they just look good in every phase of the game if I'm on the coaching staff I don't know what you could ask for your guys to do better I think the challenge now for this team is going out next week and trying to play with the same type of intensity and the same level of execution well Jesse it's easy to look good on the field when you look that good in your unit like when you look that good coming off the bus those of room there three yards maybe second and seven went with the running game on first down now back at it looking to throw on second down caught near the sticks it's Ivory big play for this offense as they get it to the 32 how nice is it as a quarterback when you don't have to throw post routes to get great stats no I can just throw it quickly to one of the fastest players in the entire nation and let him burn this defense and he's able to find a little bit of Running Room before they get him down ran the ball on first down let's see what they do on second trying to make magic with his feet they make the stop but what a job on the scramble to get loose and pick up that first down and the Jaguars look to keep this drive humming made a little something out of that run he picked up a couple down to the 14 going to work on second down in the red zone is still some ground to cover to pick up that first down might be looking to run the throw he's got it and still on his feet he's brought down but there's a flag on the field let's see what the call is he just lost track of where he was was on the field entire body pass the line of scrimmage illegal forward pass and they will back him up pressure coming and the rush will get to him at the 25 first down for this offense PS and fires complete crosses the 30 he got a lane and they are finding some space in this defense he's got it down to the 25 that was a really nice catch and an even better run after the grab yeah and get the ball to your playmaker what's good about having him in the slot is he can go either direction you can get him matched up on somebody that's not as fast and you watch he can run away from those linebackers or safeties wide receiver now comes in motion to the air on first down going to try to get it himself they get him down after the scramble but he's able to pick up a few and turn it into a positive play and now on second down for this offense they'll Run play action fires to the wide out he makes a grab he gets it in touchdown Jaguar hey often times in college football the best off the that create exposive plays South Alabama has it back the Jaguar offense going to work David they'd love to do what they did last time and put this one in the end zone you ain't lying they did a great job the offense was clicking everything went well Palmer they executed and got the touchdown and they really were in a nice Rhythm as well and I'd love to see that here on the next drive too just keep doing what you're doing everything seems to be working and you seem to have this defense on their [Applause] heels and that incomplete pass caused by the big hit on first down second down coming after the quarterback and receiver failed to hook up they'll try it again on second down looking to the big tight end huls it in and he was loose and in the open field and on his way a tremendous pick up on that [Applause] one quickly complete at the 20 he's got space he will step out of bounds but not before the a big pick up and a first down for this offense he's looking to throw it can't make the grab as he was going for six right there operating in the Red Zone here on second down he'll pull it on the read he rumbles all the way down to the two yd line he gave him a little bit of everything on that one the Jaguars will try to punch it in on first and goal goal used the play fake now to throw quarterback now breaking the field and the sack all the way back at the five and the D Deni them on second and goal [Applause] caught in the back field it's Ivory well the offense is trying to get a big time playmaker the ball out in space quickly with the wide receiver screen but the defense is having none of and he's a real Nowhere Man tackled in this no gain land first down here for the offense he wants to throw quarterback strolling away from heat looking down the left side and they won't make the connection going for the big play and after the incompletion on first down this offense looking at second second [Applause] down he looks that one in nicely he's close to the first down but they're going to Mark him just a little short here they come trying to convert a third and short from the 28 a quick completion to the left looking for the first down and it is a chunk play a huge gain on that one before the defense brings it to an end just beautiful and that's a great feeling as a quarterback when you make that throw it keeps your offense on the field keeps the offense in Rhythm obviously not as good as throwing a touchdown pass but I'll tell you this way better than having to trot up over to the bench and wait for your he's going for the big play and it slips through his fingers incomplete that would have been a huge gain if he could have squeezed it he wants to pass it on second down what a job to lay out and make the catch boy this freshman quarterback has a host and he Zing that thing in there they'll throw it on first down can't find his man as he took a shot trying to deliver that football and it'll be second down couldn't make the connection last time let's see if they throw it again on second down he'll let it fly skips away from pressure he scrambled forward and got a few and turned that into a positive play they've been able to control the ball this is the seventh play of the drive it's third and three he'll try to pick it up on the ground and boy is he close to that first down maybe just a couple the Jaguars come to the line with a new set of downs he pushes his way down to the four as they get closer and closer second and goal for this offense he's looking to throw he's got it and he'll go out of bounds just short of the goal line and they've got it right on the doorstep as they come to the line they've moved it but they need one more yard on third down grab near the marker it's Ivory and he line gets set first down they'll crank up this drive with the pass he puts a lot of air under it down the sideline and a pick up of better than 30 yards on that completion before the defense brings him down and this defense is going to have their hands full because they're going to need to be comfortable with guys one-on-one on islands in the perimeter of the field and they're just going to have to make better plays than what we saw right there they knew this offense was going to try to be aggressive got to need better effort in the back end for this defense moving forward it's first and 10 from the 13 quarterback on the keeper and he runs it all the way down to the three yd line before finally knocked down going to work in the Red Zone they can pick up the first down without getting it into the end [Applause] zone and he'll be stopped for No Gain still sitting at the three yd line boy they'd love to move the sticks here and take a shot at it on first and goal they'll try to move the chains on the ground and he takes it to the they're backed up first and 10 from inside their own five let's see if they can create some space from his Endzone lot of room to throw down field fired that thing out in a heartbeat but it's incomplete fine getting set on second down they're going to throw it again from their own end zone now nice defensive way to get a hand in there and knock it away backed up third and 10 from inside their own five like a doctor first Do no harm shakes off the defender picks up just a few before he's brought down not really willing to take a risk there offense set on first down he's going to pass going over the top makes a catch down that caught that ho well it didn't take long for this guy to leave his impact in the game guys with that catch this guy's already over 100 yard in the game and we're not even done the first half trying to make magic on the scramble they stop him at the 22 15yd pickup on the play and a first down just outside the red Roy looking to move it through the air throws to the wide out got it in the [Applause] middle first down here for the offense he's looking to throw it unloads to the wide out that like a free right the G of the field in it'll be second down couldn't make the connection last time let's see if they he off one deep down the left side and it's incomplete going for the massive explosive play instead they're looking at a third down from the gun wants to pass still on his feet at the 45 on my teammate they picked that upover and [Music] guys we'll have another look at this South Alabama offense wide out in motion going up top on first down they're trying to get to it and the quarterback is knocked down back at the 13 let's see if they play it conservatively and try to get some of the yardage back on second and long from the 13 open space of the 25 and he gets it up to the 36 it'll be a first down this offense is like running a Perfection drill in practice against air chunk play after chunk play and here they come again trying to find his man on first down he high and deep down the left side oh my God bro that over I is to stay as deep as the Deep I don't get beat deep they throw it underneath I go make a tackle and rally but I can't give up those deep shots great job by the DB he got his on it but couldn't hold on to it what a time that would have been for their first pick of the game is a long way to from here get the play stop playing so much bro you serious catch andu [Applause] quick running back having a game baby a first down for the offense they're going to open this drive with a pass going to throw it over the top of the knee snag my receiver so slow bro I swear to [Applause] God little bit left and on first down here comes this [Applause] offense using the quick game he is going nowhere stopped at the line of scrimmage now line up for a second down play Christopher come on throw turn around the get in here Christopher for the big play on second down now it's third down if they can convert here that type of play can really give you a shot of moment come here bro how does it keep getting in front of him bro slips through his fingers incomplete that would have the offense lining up for a first down play used the play fake now to throw bu a little TI and the physical play there forces the incompletion on first down bro how the do you second and 10 here quarterback checking the play he keep it himself third down conversions are a huge stat and this one would be a dooy if they can pull it off quarterback floating away from pressure he's going to run it at the 45 and he has vexed this defense with scramble after scramble has another first down use me a stepping stool like always in situations like this offensively when you got the lead in the fourth quarter when you got to run the ball you go back to the runs that you have the most confidence in that you can execute in your sleep and they do it right there ripping off seven yards the playaction fake Pockets starts to collapse and maybe they've tried to spy on the quarterback but it just hasn't worked another first down he just keeps gashing them with his feet the Jaguars are moving quickly down the field not much working there it'll be second and nine went to the running game on first down now here they come [Applause] again the RPO fire complete to the left he's brought down solid pick up but a little bit short of the first down here they come the 23 yd line field goal wanting to convert this third and quarterback adapted finds the tight end and they'll finally get him down after a terrific pick up the Jaguars with the first and 10 what is he doing got him he'll do it himself [Music] Relentless tough running gets it down to the four going to work on second down in the red zone is still some ground to cover to pick up that first down coming after him he's got it touchdown Jaguars and the stomp looking for a productive play on first down he'll PLL it on the read and he is swarmed under a host of Defenders there to make the stop second down coming [Applause] up trying play action quarterback moving out of the pocket at the 40 there he goes he's finally stopped but a big play there with his feet as he moves those sticks they've got it inside the 30 at the 28 first down used the play fake now to throw trying to get to him they get to him as he throws hit hard as he released the ball on that first down pass and it never had a chance they'll try again on second down after the incompletion they're bringing heat picks up the first down and gets down to avoid contact and the Jaguars have taken it in inside the 20 from the shotgun they'll run it able to get one down to the 15 well they're going RPO nice job handing it off and really good Vision there just getting what he can get right puts his foot in the ground gets forward helps this offense find positive and a really short game before he gets a whole bunch of company from the defense [Applause] down9 looking to move the chains they throw it complete to the left works his way to the four yd line and they'll have it first and goal the offense threatening post to the end zone now with a new set of downs nowhere to run on that when he loses four on the carry defense roll up deep in its own end on that last play now a second and long [Applause] coming got it touchdown South Alabama here's this offense with a fresh set of [Applause] downs off the play fake on first down to throw fires to the right makes a grab and they'll finally bring him down after he rips off a huge play that's quite a start to a drive and now they'll snap it from [Applause] Midfield they'll throw it on first [Applause] down he's got the back in the middle and the defense stops him just short of the first down maybe needed a few more chain links to move the sticks now on second second down quarterback on the keeper stop is made at the 36 let's call it a 5yd gain and a first down here's this offense with a fresh set of downs looking to go up top on first down a shot toward the end zone and it was worth the gamble but the long pass is incomplete this offense has a second down play he's looking to throw now improvising fires down field how about that play to get a hand in there and force the incompletion it's third down now and they ought to be able to get off one more play before the two-minute warning trying to escape and get it himself and he scoots his way to the first down and then slides to avoid the hit and here comes play number six of the [Applause] drive pulls and throws off the RPO touchdown Jaguars here comes the offense on first down quarterback changing the plays at the line losts to throw on first down off the play fake he'll pull it down on the move at the 30 and this is why a mobile quarterback is the defensive coordinator's worst nightmare he has just been running wild all [Applause] day he'll come out throwing on first down he's going to be able to pick up a few yards before the slide here comes the offense on second down second down coming he'll keep it himself a strong tackle and wrap up from the Junior and I'm a fan of this man run the football at the clock we got the lead this offense has put together a nice day man like just balance Rhythm timing play calling everything is worked that's why they built this lead they've had a great day today the Jaguars will snap it on First and [Applause] 10 easy he wants to throw hit hard just as he released it on first down and just couldn't get it to the receiver after they couldn't connect it's second and 10 to the ground with the back a 6yd pickup that leaves him with third and four and there's nothing more frustrating than when you get late in the game and you know they're running the football and you don't stop them it's been that kind of day for this defense they haven't played well they're going to have to go to the well they're going to have to figure some things out practice this week I can promise you we will not be a lot of fun with these coaches winning can become a habit now they've won backto back games and probably building a little confidence and you wanted to be a habit that's what you talk about as a coach weild create momentum and continue to build on it continue and then you look up at the end of the season you never know where you could be what dreams you could bring to reality at the end of the day I think good teams find ways to win games and over these last two games it hasn't always been easy they've had to overcome some adversity but at the end of the day they were able to step up make the plays necessary and do that very very impressive so and
