Top 36 Wide Receiver Rankings For 2024 Fantasy Football

we are about a week out from fantasy football being a real thing again and my favorite thing about this time of the year is every single day is like a year in football terms which means things are changing constantly which is why we're going through the top 36 wide receiver rankings for 2024 and I'm giving away free hat still and all I need you to do to qualify to get one is to go down there drop like on the video subscribe to the channel and give me your favorite wide receiver sleeper to take in 2024 fantasy football so let's go ahead and get into the first TI it's been the same for a while now so really there's not much changes to discuss Tyreek Hills cidd lamb Jamar Chase Tyreek Hills Over CD lamb because my splitting hair argument because they're both great that's what we need to understand here is that we're talking about two Elite wide receiver players and CD lamb obviously just got signed to the Cowboys so maybe there's a natural bump for some people in their rankings for me it's not really changing anything because I never expected CD lamb to sit out any regular season games I always expected Dallas to get this steal done the thing for me the splitting hairs argument is because with Tyreek Hill he's got a viable number two who not only is a good number two wide receiver but can take the top off the defense which doesn't allow defensive coordinators to F Focus exclusively 100% of their energy on stopping Tyreek with CD lamb there's not a viable number two Brandon Cooks is a cross your fingers type of guy and Jake Ferguson is not taking the top off any defense so defensive coordinators have a much easier time honing down on stopping CD lamb than they do with Tyreek and that's probably why he finished point one points more on a fantasy points per game basis last year than CD lamb did so that's my splitting her's argument now J Jamar chase at number three it's just because I simply believe if everything goes his way he could be a number the number one wide receiver the receivers in this steer are really guys that I believe have number one wide receiver upside and with Jamar Chase I feel very strongly like that we've seen it from the p in the past from him being an elite wide receiver in fantasy can get you 40 45 point game games depending on what kind of format you're playing in so we just need him healthy and we need Joe burrow healthy that's a tall task it's proven to be and Jamar Chase is currently on contract disputes he's reported though and he is expected to play week one and again that was never a doubt so as long as he's healthy as long as Burrow's healthy he can be a top three wide receiver and that's why he's in tier one now moving down to our next tier am man R st Brown just Jefferson again it's very much the same as it always has been am man R st Brown I prer him this year because I think his floor is a lot more stable than Justin Jefferson's and I don't think his ceiling is like Justin Jefferson we always think of him as a high ceiling player right because that's the thing with Justin Jefferson is he's an elite player when everything is like like it doesn't even matter what's going his way and what isn't he's an elite player so even with darn at quarterback he'll still do his thing that's why he's at number five here but the reason Aman ra is just ahead of him and I just believe it's pretty clear at this point that he's the better fantasy option at wide receiver is simply because that his quarterback Jared gof is a very good quarterback like don't let anybody tell you otherwise Jared G is a good quarterback in the NFL his offensive line is intact it's the number one offensive line in the league according to pro football network and it's also just an offense with the running game intact and the offensive coordinator intact as well so am man R st Brown just there's no questions whereas we do have a lot of questions with Jefferson and I don't think that Jefferson ceiling is high enough over mon Ros St Browns that to really justify considering putting J Jefferson over mon Ros Brown at this point now dropping down to our next tier here we've got AJ Brown pukaa and Garrett Wilson and with AJ Brown I still prefer him over puka even though puka did return to practice this week which is a great sign again never really was doubting that he was going to play week one based on reports that I've been following throughout the last couple of weeks but AJ Brown I really just do feel that his volatility is one thing for sure and I'm not sure if puka will experience that I don't think it's out of the question that he experiences that volatility with Cooper cup as the wide receiver too in all likelihood some people would argue Cooper Cup's the number one in this Los Angeles Rams off offense still so I don't believe that personally I think puka is the wide receiver one but I do think that AJ Brown there's no question whether he's the wide receiver one or not so no shadow of a doubt who's leading this wide receiver room in Philly whereas with puka AA there's a little bit of Doubt because I do believe that Cooper cup will have better games than puka does but I don't think it's going to be on the level of concern for pukaa so I still like him in this tier with AJ Brown and then with gett Wilson here same it's literally the same story there's no update on him it all just relies on Aaron roders and the reason why I don't put Garett Wilson above guys like AJ Brown above somebody like pukao is because I actually believe Aaron Rogers could be the one who slows it down that's just my opinion Aaron Rogers is not going to be the Hall of not the Hall of Fame guy he will not be the MVP winning guy that we saw just a couple years ago he just will not be that guy 40 years old coming off in Achilles tear made comments this has been a really hard training camp with Garrett Wilson there's no question he's going to be getting his best quarterback of his entire career and he's the clear wide receiver one but I actually do think if anybody slows Wilson down this year it will be Rogers because I don't know if he'll be able to fulfill the touchdown expectations that some may have for Garrett Wilson now dropping down to our next year here I've got Nico Collins Marvin Aris Jr as my 9- 10 and with niik Collins it's just a pop it's a belief of mine I think it's above consensus by quite a bit actually based on what I see on fantasy pros consensus rankings Nico Collins I believe is is the clear-cut wide receiver one of Houston no question to me who the wide receiver one is when in doubt follow where the money is going Nico Collins is their most expensive wide receiver one of their most expensive players just based on a guaranteed basis and so they're going to at least try to make him the wide receiver one it's up to him whether he can come through on it or not but based on what he did last year with the opportunities that he had which keep in mind didn't even cross 110 targets last year year with an increase in targets that I believe will be there this year with the efficiency he had last year with CJ St the chemistry that he has I think he's the clear favorite as the wide receiver one in Houston at this point now with Marvin Harrison Jr here this is obviously the highest rank cookie I've ever had a wide receiver that I can personally remember and it's a very good reason he's a really polished Prospect like he's going to walk in day one look like he belongs immediately I really don't expect much growing pay in the first like couple games which is you know sort of common among rookie wide receivers and rookie positions of any type I don't see that with Marvin Harrison Jr dude's got the body type he's got the obviously Hall of Fame father taught him how to run routes and he's more physically gifted than Marvin Harrison Senor and obviously the the separating factor between him and another Elite wide receiver Prospect like M Malik neighbors is that he gets a good quarterback right away that doesn't happen with the wide receiver prospects so Marvin sis Jr benefited quite a bit from having the Cardinals fall because Kyler Murray had a knee injury last year so I think he's a top 10 guy giving giving Kyler Murray the first wide receiver one real true wide receiver one that he's ever had because DeAndre Hopkins was out of his Prime with Kyler Murray now these next two guys there was a change I got DJ Moore 11 and I've got Mike Evans actually rose up to 12 here now with DJ Moore I still truly believe that he is so undervalued across all platforms across anybody you watch on YouTube I think DJ Moore is extremely undervalued at the wide receiver position DJ Moore is a guy who just blew the top off Fantasy Football was a top six guy in half PPR formats with Justin Fields last year well that was probably his best quarterback up to date well now he has Caleb Williams and the argument against DJ Moore that I hear is well he's got a rookie quarterback with Caleb Williams as Talent as he looks and we've all seen it throughout the preseason historically there's not good numbers backing up wide receiver production with rookie quarterbacks that's totally fine but you know who did it last year CJ Stroud and with the weapons that are in there with DJ Moore defense are going to have a hard time double triple covering DJ Moore so DJ Moore I think is just in line for another great season and I cannot express to you enough how much of a value he still is on the platform that you can win the most money moment in time now with Mike Evans here I think that Mike Evans is really just in a situation where I I really just struggle because without Dave Canalis the offensive coordinator last year I I just don't know if I could trust Baker Mayfield to repeat what he did with Mike a year ago now the one thing that really brings me back to Mike Evans is that I think that Baker is the type of quarterback who works well with Mike Evans because Baker does have a good deep ball he's got an arm he could throw the ball deep and that's obviously Mike Evans bread and butter in fantasy because he has just been a like he has made touchdowns consistent as inconsistent as they are so Mike Evans I don't necessarily rely on the volume with him what I rely on is the big play ability and if Baker Mayfield can come through on some more deep throws this year to Mike he'll be a top 12 guy really just comes down to Baker Mayfield without Dave Canalis and I'm banking on it as of right now now droing down to our next here here our two guys that fell are Michael Pitman and Chris alive at 13 and 14 now with Michael Pitman Jr the reason that he fell is because you know I've watched a lot of preseason obviously and one of the guys who really stood out to me was Anthony Richardson obviously Anthony richon can throw through a brick wall he's got unbelievable arm strength and he's obviously got tons of rushing upside that doesn't affect Michael Pitman Jr what also what worried me with Anthony richson was watching this guy during the preseason he was so inconsistent it really really worried me so I just thought to myself man there's there's throws he can make that are ridiculously good and then also like he just misses wideopen guys by air mailing them so it does worry me for Pitman although obviously he's still the wide receiver one and definitely is's going to get like 150 targets plus this year so it doesn't worry me too much and then with a la here I just really don't believe in the Derek Carr Resurgence with Gary with Clint kubak I just don't believe in it so I've taken flat for it maybe from Saints fans I don't know from some of you though like I I understand that Al's ranking is too low and cra's ranking is too low and my running back rankings this is how I feel with alive I don't trust the team they made no Personnel moves this off season it's all reliant on Clint kubak and Derek Carr working together and I got to tell you at this point in his career I don't really buy Derek hard working so while alve is the wide receiver one by far in this New Orleans Saints offense I don't trust that touchdown number to go up to a to a you know to the tune of like three to four more and that's really is what he's going to need to separate him and bring him into top 10 territory now with Rashid rice he's at 15 and what I wanted to do after the last wide receiver rankings video I made was I was like okay things are starting to settle rasheid rice is really not going to get suspended this year so where does he land with all the smoke cleared this is where he lands for me rasid rice is a top 15 guy in my opinion in fantasy football because of the targets that are going to come for for rasheid rice on the Kansas City Chiefs rasheid rice is absolutely going to lead this team in targets when you looked at what he did last year in that last half of the Season compared to Travis Kelce he was the number one he became the number one Target in this offense that's going to carry over this year because Kel is in his mid-30s now and is not going to hold up for an entire season of football Rashid rice is a 100 Target guy and it will help to have Xavier worthy there to open up the middle of the field from him because he provides the best deep threat they have had since Tyreek Hill Rashid rice is number 15 for me and you could easily make the argument for me that he could be a top 12 to top 13 guy now Devonte Adams and Drake London here at 16 to 17 round this tier out Devonte Adams I my concerns are the same same with Drake won Devonte Adams my concerns are quarterback related he doesn't look happy with the Raiders quarterback situation and also with the age Factor being 32 in November this is just the time where I researched this off season when these Elite wide receivers were hitting the H Cliff this is basically the time frame that they were hitting it and so things are not lining up great for me although of course he will be the number one target which is why I have him here because he has shown obviously he's an elite player and he's going to be the number one target now with Drake London here you know it's so funny like I I have him righted below consensus I still feel uncomfortable having him here at 17 I mean we just have not seen it from Drake London I want to see it first from Drake London and we have not seen it and Garett Wilson dealt with basically the same quarterback circus that Drake London has throughout his career and he was able to provide two straight thousand yard seasons with basically six different quarterbacks Drake London can't do that so with a 35-year-old Kirk Cousins basically coming off an Achilles tear I think they run first for sure but he definitely will be the number one target which is why he's here and I do believe he has upside but man I got to tell you this is a very uncomfortable ranking still now dropping down to our next tier here I've got Jaylen Wadd at 18 dvo at 19 and Brandon auk so really this whole tier if you look at it closely it's basically a collection of number two wide receivers on their respective teams that have very high passing volume attached to them so with Jaylen Wadd here I feel most confident about him because I do believe that his big play Upside is probably the biggest of them all and I do believe that Jaylen Wadd when you look at what happened last year he didn't lose out on volume obviously with Tyreek Hill there he's not the wide receiver one nobody's expecting Jaylen Wadd to have 10 plus targets what we do expect from jayen wad and what we got in 2023 was touchdown upside he didn't get that last year he he missed a couple games but he simply did not provide touchdown upside I think that changes this year I think it's a very not sticky stat I'm banking on the touchdown upside this year with Jaylen Wadd and then with Deo Samuel and Brandon auk Deo actually jumped above Brandon auk here I'll tell you the reason why he jumped for me is because I based on what I'm seeing and based on how I feel personally there's no way the 49ers are even more tired of this whole auk Saga than I am like I'm exhausted just watching it as a Pittsburgh Steelers fan who is a fantasy football YouTuber I am exhausted watching it so I can only imagine how the 49ers are feeling right now and with Debo Samuel he's extremely volatile obviously what we can rely on with him is he's going to get volume in a bunch of different places though so I'm not saying that he's more of a consistent player and even a better wide receiver in the NFL than auk but I got to tell you missing a bunch of practice time with this team bad relationships going around here I just I I do not like how this feels at all with Brandon auk so he he goes behind Deo Samuel to me now with Devonte Smith at Cooper cup at 21 and22 I think that Devonte Smith is also probably the safest wide receiver too on this in this tier right here because we just know that number one he's an Iron Man he doesn't miss games for the Philadelphia Eagles number two is his Target share is always consistent what isn't as consistent is who produces in fantasy ball on a weekly basis between him and a AJ Brown AJ Brown there's obviously he's the wide receiver one he's going to get more Targets on average on a per game basis than Devon Smith does so that's not the question here the question here is that when you actually look at the two rarely do they hit on the same week Devon Smith I remember a period of time last year that people were asking me should I trade AJ Brown for Devonte Smith is he the wide receiver one and I said no he's not but that does not mean Devonte Smith is not a very stable wide receiver he's easily 130 Target guy for the Philadelphia Eagles and he's going to provide big games as well and with Cooper cup here I think you could argue to me and I could personally make the argument one of the highest if not the highest upside guy on this tier but man his floor is low I I do not see the floor that a lot of people do and I'm very interested to hear the argument that people make for having Cooper cup as the wide receiver one in in Los Angeles cuz I cannot get on board with that Cooper cup I do not believe sees more targets per game than pukaa at this point of his career and just based on what we've seen from him being basically 30 years old and injury history that's adding up in recent years I don't see the consistency there enough for like a top 20 to top 15 finish for Cooper cup not ruling out that it can happen because the upside is there and we've seen it from him obviously but I do worry about Cooper cup more than I worry about a guy like Devonte Smith now rounding out this tier I've got Malik neighbors Stefon dicks and tank Dell here so with Malik neighbors here he's obviously the clear wide receiver one and really the only clear wide receiver one in this tier so natural feelings you might want to move him up the problem with Malik neighbors is his quarterback upside is abysmal it's a it's non-existent there's no upside with Daniel Jones it's only downsides the only thing that I could maybe point to with upside with d Daniel Jones is Daniel Jones actually does throw a pretty good deep Ball but decision-making short throws offensive line is still a little bit of a mystery I struggle to rely on the Deep throws to catapult him above guys that I actually know are on good passing offenses so Malik neighbors I don't question he'll be 130 140 Target guy if he stays healthy but I do question what the touchdown upside is and just with the overall upside with Daniel Jones at quarterback and then Stefon digs and tank Dell you could easily make the argument to me that tank should be over Stefon digs in fact personally when I draft I've drafted more of tank Dell I prefer him he's cheaper and I actually do believe decent shot he's the wide receiver two in this offense but based on what we saw in the preseason what they're trying to do and what they're paying digs it everything indicates that he's going to be in on 100% starter snaps if there's two wide receivers it's Nico Collins and it's tank Dell or I'm sorry it's Nico Collins and it's step on digs tank Dell will come in and be a slot guy maybe push Diggs to the inside in the slot when he's in there but tank Dell won't see the field quite as much as Stephon digs and that's the only thing that worries me so that's why I believe when it's all said and done Devon digs probably does have just a little bit more fantasy points than tank Dell does now dropping down to our next tier here I've got Z flowers and T Higgins at 26 and 27 and with Z flowers here I think that when you look at all these guys in this tier he's really the only guy maybe aside from Calvin rudley that you can count on being like 120 130 Target guy I think that Z flowers has such a monopoly on this wide receiver room and listen I've heard all this I've heard everything from Rashad baan's going to have a big year D Nelson agalar is going to come out and have a good year the only guy I know that's basically tried and true here it really fits what Lamar Jackson does as a thrower is z flowers Z flowers is with a quarterback who doesn't throw the ball down the field that much he doesn't throw the ball that much period end of story Z flowers is the guy who has a skill set that works the most for him so I do trust in Z flowers this year in fantasy and with t Higgins here I actually do believe that he has the potential to have a really good year like I've drafted a a ton of tea in best ball because I think that he will have upside this year now it's going to be much like it always has been with t Higgins it's always been very inconsistent he will have games where he gets you nothing and he'll have games where he gets you 30 points out of nowhere I expect the same thing but I do expect more effort from th Higgins this year on a weekly basis because he is on a contract year so you know he wants to get paid and he is a good player with a really good quarterback here so I like T Higgins but I don't like him more than Zade because I know what we're getting out of Z and he's going to lead the team in targets for sure now Calvin rley is at 28 and Jaden Reed is a 29 and with Calvin Ridley no question to me much like Z that he's going to lead the team in targets even when Hopkins is healthy they're paying Calvin really too much money to to have him as the wide receiver too unless he completely knows Dives and it's not good which I don't love calv Ry as a player personally but I do think he will be pretty good this year with Tennessee it really all relies on will Levis will Levis is like the ultimate wild card this year in fantasy to me either he's going to be really good and have a Jordan love type Ascension this year or he's going to be pretty bad like there's no in between that's why I've got Calin M kind of like lower in my rankings here because we haven't seen it yet from will Lis we've seen Talent we've seen flashes we've seen what they've done on offense this year so I want to bank on Calvin Ridley but I can't do it quite yet which is why he's a little bit lower and then Jaden Reed here in my opinion is going to be the best fantasy wide receiver when it's all said and done in Green Bay I could easily hear out the argument that Christian Watson is the more talented player I believe he is I could hear the argument well Romeo dos is going to get a ton of touchdowns and have more upside ADV fantasy I can hear that one too Jaden Reed plays a Deo Samuel type of role for this team and listen with Christian Watson here if they're both healthy numbers actually support Christian Watson at certain times my push back to that is well Christian Watson's not always there and he is when he's on the field he's not always consistent like he's a pretty inconsistent Guy jayen Reed as a rookie last year very very consistent with the with the Green Bay Packers so I don't realistically see a smart team like Green Bay looking at the situation this year and saying to themselves yeah we're going to give Jaden Reed less targets and less opportunities as punishment for doing so good last year and we're get him we're going to give him to this guy who can barely stay on the field and when he's on the field he's a little bit more inconsistent that's nonsense I don't think it's going to happen so I got Jaden Reed here because he's on a high octane offense and gets a bunch of touches in a bunch of different ways and then rounding out this tier Omari Cooper at 30 DK meaf at 31 now Omari Cooper here definitely going to be the wide receiver one in Cleveland Jerry Judy just based on what they pay him I'm sure he'll be involved but there's no question who the better receiver is let's get that one out of the way the there were really the two things that bothered me with Amari Cooper number one obviously DeShaun Watson I just don't think he's very good I really don't think he's very good I don't mind it as much because I do believe like the quarterbacks that are in place I think I could trust providing Amari Cooper upside if Deshawn Watson were not to play or if he were to get benched for some reason but the other thing that bothers me with AMI is that he does seem to be a little bit unhappy in Cleveland now I'm not saying that he's going to tank or anything like that but I do just see with Amari Cooper we don't always see tons of consistency there so on a lower passing volume offense I've got to have him down here at 30 and then got bunch of push back for not having T DK meaf in the last rankings video that's because he's one spot right outside 30 look DK Mecha there's a reality here he has declined every year in fantasy since 2021 and they have Gino Smith now who is in his mid-30s almost and really if you haven't watched has been injured for a lot of the off season and yeah he comes in he does well in the preseason for a little bit listen DK meaf is still competing with J Jacks Smith the jiga Jacks Smith the jiga is a firstr rookie for the Seattle Seahawks they're going to get him more involved this year so you cannot tell me that DK meaf is going to get improved and increased targets from where he was last year so DK mchf here I just really don't believe that much in the ability to separate from Jack Smith and jiga this year because I am just personally higher on JSM than I think a lot of people are and maybe I'll be proven wrong at some point but right now I've got him here at 31 now this last tier right here Terry McLaren's at the top and he's really one of the fastest risers for me Terry mcen I have never been a big Terry mclen guy so it feels really weird to have him here at this point because I really just all of a sudden I'm liking him because of Jaden Daniels when I watch Jaden Daniels in the preseason obviously he's got ridiculous rushing upside and he really does have a beautiful deep ball which is Terry mcloren Forte but it's also watching him throw it into Tight Windows and watching him throw it short middle this guy has really good he's really really accurate and Terry mclen with Johan Dawson gone there was never a question who the wide receiver one is but there's really not a question in my eyes anymore he's 130 140 150 Target guy for the Washington commanders so while he may not get 10 touchdowns receiving this year I do believe he will be a pretty hefty Target guy which is why I've got him at 32 to start out this tier and then with George pickings here at 33 listen you're talking to a Steelers fan I've got Jack Lambert Steelers Legend on the wall fantasy football analysis comes first for me he's overdrafted he does not have that much upside George pickings with this offense with Russell Wilson and probably Justin fields at some point did you watch them during the preseason they can't move the ball even against like second stringers this is a horrendous offense horrendous the offensive line is atrocious the quarterbacks are atrocious George Pickins I think is a great talent and I think he's the best talent they have on that offense but at the wide receiver position the reality is you're dependent on your quarterback and you're also dependent on your offensive play callers to be really creative to get you the ball that's a lot to rely on for the Steelers so I've got Pickins here at 33 very begrudgingly and then the round out this tier lad Mogi at 34 Keenan Allen at 35 and Xavier worthy at 36 now with lad makoni here this is just me showing that I have more confidence in him than I think a lot of people do in the fantasy football space I think lad mccon is the clear wide receiver one by the end of the season we'll all look back and say how did we not see that coming because a lot of what I've seen is questions about Josh Palmer being the wide receiver one and listen they may very well intend to have Josh Palmer be the wide receiver one the reality is we've seen years worth of Josh Palmer he's not a wide receiver one DJ ch the guy that they took the top off the defense they got him to take the top off the defense he's not the wide receiver one the guy that he's going to rely on Justin Herbert is the guy who runs routes like Keenan Allen did and that's that's lad makoni so lad makoni may not be a 10 touchdown guy he may not be 12200 receiving yards guy but I know that he's going to lead the team of targets because he's simply the most polished wide receiver that they have on the roster at this point and then with Keenan Allen the guy who he supplanted Keenan Allen I I dropped him this low because listen I love Keenan Allen I think he's one of the most underrated receivers over the last like 10 20 years the reality with Keenan Allen is he's in his close to mid-30s now and you know reports of the offseason him being a little overweight doesn't appear to be an issue right now but just watching Roma dun I do believe at some point we'll see an overtaking so what I predict is this Chicago's offense is going to have a lot of upside through the air I believe that wholeheartedly what I'm predicting is Keenan Allen starts out the year as the wide receiver 2 has upside because of Caleb and because he's a great player wears down at the back half of the year and romad dud takes over that's how I foresee things happening which is why I've got him above Rome but I still have him at 35 and then with Xavier worthy here he's going to round out this whole thing and listen totally on board with having another Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver in this top 36 list because I've compared Xavier worldy to Tyreek Hill and I always reiterate this I'm not saying he's Tyreek Hill he's obviously not the one of the best receivers of all time you cannot compare him to Tyreek Hill where I compare him to Tyreek Hill is that he will provide their best deep ball threat since Tyreek Hill so I don't believe that xav Worthy is going to get 10 targets per game I think that's Rashid rice and I think that obviously kelse is going to have his role but getting five to six to maybe seven targets per game and 10 touchdowns that's so not unthinkable for me this is obviously the best quarterback in the world he's playing with and he's going to provide that speed element that they just haven't had with the receiving element they haven't had over the top of the defense so with
