and U this is a very good case study in why companies need to Pivot away from it because it's going to cost you a lot of money and a lot of credibility no of course pivoting away from it does not mean that you can't have offer organic diversity people are like that means you don't want diversity that's not what it means at all it just means you're not shoving agenda down people's throats for the sake of money and high fives uh stupidity there is no money this is the thing that's there is no money right there is no money in this this more than anything is is uh showing why so many companies are pivoting away from it this this is why I think there are so many layoffs in AAA gaming right now because I think a lot of the projects they're working on we saw it with Suicide Squad cost Warner Brothers over $200 million yeah but here's the thing though for a while they were getting they were getting uh like bonuses and extra money for including it so that's where the money was but now it's gone it's gone and now these games have to succeed or fail on on their own Merit my God they are failing spectacularly on Merit on their own Merit so we're going to talk about conquered which is basically uh what it is very woke OverWatch is what it is and uh it it failed so bad that Paul tassy who's been calling out the bigots and the Nazis lately yeah he's even like this is a freaking disaster uh that's one game the other game is uh dust born and I've never heard of any of these either of these in yeah so you're going to be coming into this blind blind on this one uh dustborne is the cringiest video like if you took 2016 and you turned it into a game and you turned it into a game oh God and it makes sense because a lot of these games have been in development for years probably because they're hiring unqualified people to work on them but they've been in development for years and how many millions of dollars have been burnt on these games and if sweet baby Inc had it their way every AAA title would be just like this but why do people keep hiring them um because they were extorted basically they're like hey it'd be a real shame if our friends at uh uh you know different uh media Outlets wrote a bad review about your game or started writing hit pieces about sex everybody is writing a bad review about their game everyone is so I I it's not a threat it's it's it's the reality the reality is is that uh de I should be spelled D I E because D why like why the hell are you doing this why are you doing this and I think look more than anything the numbers at the end of the day it's just like everything else is getting canceled right now they will give you a chance because of uh Dei and ESG and all that jazz and wokeness whatever you will get a chance but if you games based on that that's what both of these are wow so conquered is basically OverWatch but woker and uh this is again this is Paul Tassie Paul tassy calling out conquered and he's he's definitely he was all about the acolyte he was all about the acolyte he said there's flopping and then there's flopping and the release of PlayStation's conquered which has failed to break 700 concurrent players on Steam with maybe just a few thousand on Playstation is one of the worst major failures we've seen in the last generation more and weirdly enough they're doing uh I can't remember what it's called but on uh Amazon they're doing a bunch of shorts like CGI shorts of different games and they have a lot of classic games in there but then they they threw conquered in there too probably for promotional reasons and it's like why people were like why the hell this game like nobody wanted this game this is one that like a lot of YouTubers we didn't touch this one but a lot of YouTubers were roasting it they're like this looks terrible apparently the Phantom audience agreed because all the all the diverse and inclusive uh people that the Dei is supposed to reach yeah none of them bought this game none of them played this game then they also charge 40 bucks for it it's $40 yeah oh my gosh it said it's e easily the biggest factor in why the game can't even break quadruple digits on Steam that uh in a market where every hero shooter is free to play yeah OverWatch even now is free to play conquer tried to push its luck with an upfront cost with the promise of a bunch of free stuff and a few microtransactions oh microtransactions not microt transgressions you oh no we're gonna talk we're going to talk about D I'm saving the best for last Games Concord and Dustborn failed due to poor quality, not their "woke" features, despite prioritizing diversity and inclusivity. we're going to talk about dustborne there actually is a trigger button if you're triggered you can call people racist I'm not even kidding this is like again this is a 2016 wet dream I mean this is this is crazy so it was not a deal fans there are no fans wanted to make as this is a game that battling needs to be tested before purchase whoever given the free bait the game was tested a few weeks ago and only Drew out 2300 players no that's terrible okay just to put this in perspective we don't sell a lot of comic books but we sell more comic books than conquered has players and this is a supposedly a major release on Playstation a video game gosh what we what could we have done with that money anyway what could I don't know they gave it all this oh saying it's hero shooter oversaturation no I don't think that's why no this is like this is like Marvel fatigue or whatever right it's like yeah there's OverWatch Apex Legends valer no this one had to be like people were like look isn't OverWatch and valorant aren't they woke enough why do we need an even woker version of those games yeah and again just the characters totally looked like it was 2016 which brings us to this point it took eight years to make so yes they started in they started in 201 oh everything wrong it can be sumed up in this game yeah uh every extremely poor hero designs and Aesthetics oh my God are we allowed to say that because we had diverse body types um which basically diverse body type means overweight black personas that's what lesbian Us in lesbian overweight black lesbian is is usually what they with blue or purple hair or yes and often a side shave and and I'm sure that there are people rocking that look and and go you but it's not the most common look out there you know what I'm saying like and it it's so like predictable like every every CH like oh it's not enough just to be overweight no you have to be a minority and also we're going to get to uh uh dustborne too I I keep W to say just born like the peeps uh I think some of the characters in that game conquor I keep wanting to say conquers and conquers is definitely not PC anyway so I love this there's one thing though Paul tassy clearly isn't up to the game attempts to channel scii 70 sci-fi an error existed 34 years for his target audience was born correct however 70s uh aesthetic was into the 90s and the 90s is back right now so technically in a roundabout way their delay might actually work to their advantage there because 70s 90s were based on 70s and and now the 90s is in so it technically in a roundabout way is still 70s yeah it's I mean everything comes back around now it's now we're back into the 80s and the 2000s well now yeah but now it's now it's '90s '90s is in he said the main issue here is not character diversity as some have said well that definitely plays into it because character diversity it's not Diversy um just they look so bad that that actually yes and yes I think it's it's like it's it's almost a parody like if you were going to make a parody of you know make me the wokest hey uh chat G PT give me a character roster for the wokest game ever from 2016 and make sure there's lots of body positivity and diversity whatever the the roster from this game is what you get well that which brings us number five The anti-woke Crusade the anti this is the first time we talked about it because they both failed miserably both of these games heard this damn game miserably they had apparently they had a controller ready for it because they were going to they thought this game was going to be a huge hit oh um why would they think think that okay because the normies don't care about this [ __ ] Paul it's not about the anti- Crusade it's because no one wants to pay for this [ __ ] and normies don't care yeah um he said some are saying the game with its character designed pronouns in their bios of course of course they do yeah but that's not whye I'm hearing it failed I'm hearing it failed because it of it looks like crap yeah um apparently they just dropped a trailer for this game like two months before it came out okay but he said Sony knew this was going to be a disaster they knew it was going to be a disaster like again the pendulum is already swinging it it already started I would say late last year into this year that and this is why The gaming industry's prioritization of DEI and ESG initiatives is leading to poor game performance and layoffs due to catering to niche demographics instead of a broader audience. I think they are laying so many people off in Triple A gaming because they're looking at their the people that are working there and they're like we don't need you like you're just like a PR uh mouthpiece and you're out there causing trouble we really don't need you you're not coding or the ideas you're coming up with are dumb or you're trying to get your friends from sweet baby Inc to come over here and [ __ ] up our game and cost us hundreds of millions of dollars um you know well you know um but the whole thing like you said about like the wokeness and stuff here's the thing if if the general public wanted that this game would be popular wouldn't it yes they don't want that so you can blame it on the anti-woke people like us you know that we keep getting blamed I even hate that word but we keep getting blamed for this but the general public doesn't care it's I think acolyte but on a much smaller scale yeah we got a video coming about that that too cuz God they are just so angry about that here's the thing you had a chance right for eight years Dei and wokeness and ESG all that stuff Reigns Supreme every project even when it made no damn sense went down this path they were given hundreds of millions countless millions of dollars to play with to produce stuff that they thought was going to you know because probably the sales pitch what to their superiors at the the studios as companies was oh there's this huge untapped Market out there people that really really really want to play as an overweight lesbian we need more games with overweight lesbians if only everybody needs to see themselves on screen everybody needs to see themselves and you know what the overweight lesbians are like no I want to flick the bean to that hot chick and spandex they keep like they keep about the male gays what about the female Gaye you know come on right right um yeah and they said they used Mo moap for this oh my god um yeah so they were kind of going for OverWatch it's basically a uh hyper diverse and inclusive OverWatch it's like a parody of 2016 and I'm not going to run all the clips for this one the gameplay doesn't stand out it's derivative oh my god of Guardians of the Galaxy and OverWatch is drowned out not by okay this is this is what's interesting not by other hero Shooters but this exact moment when no one is paying attention to anything except wukong's 2.2 million concurrent players and the fact that valve officially announced deadlock the same night conquered was released they knew they snuck this one out this is like High Guardian spice it's like one of those silent but deadly farts you snuck it out but it stinks up everything right and it's going to come and go but they they have to release yeah you know you can open a window and goes open the window um and all you are is a fart in the wind but the thing is is that the failure of this game and this other game and especially Prioritizing diversity and inclusivity over gameplay is killing the video game industry, as seen in the failures of Concord and Dustborn. Suicide Squad where they burnt $200 million that's it for sweet baby in like I think they're done like and and Consultants like them I don't know if they were I think they were involved in this one been following this one super closely but like perect today that mindset that we have to go through and audit your games and make sure they're super diverse and inclusive this is what you get meanwhile we have a game developed in China and I'm not defending the CCP but we have you know uh Wukong which had what 10 million copies sold like like within the first day or some crazy crazy number and then we had Stellar blade which was Korea well you know why they they they wanted this game because they basically got they knew up front like we said you know we're not going to put up with that crap like if you get a review copy we're not going to make it about anything but the game we don't want to be talking about politics and then people are like thank God entertainment do not you know yeah just politics and disguise I'll play that yeah nobody wants not even the audience this is what this is what gets me about all of this same with comics and same with animation same with you know uh movie franchises and like they go down this road because they've been Li these people have been lied to the studio heads who are boomers have been lied to and told this is this is the new audience this is you know look all these upvotes on Twitter in 2016 yeah if we said we were going to do a more body positive diverse OverWatch yeah lots of people won it look there's like two spend hundreds of millions of dollars remember too back in this time frame that's when if you didn't like something you're automatically labeled a bigot and people were going along with it cuz were too afraid to be told they were bigot or being I'm not bigot so I'm not a racist so I'm going to have to agree to this or I'm going to be a racist and now people are just like I'm you know [ __ ] you I don't care but back then you know they probably were afraid to say no because they're afraid that I don't want people think I'm a bad person that that's exactly how they control it and a lot of times it was just like scared middle-aged white guys that let these people run ack because they didn't want to get on the wrong side of these activist employees they were afraid of their own you w be on the wrong side of History well now you had your chance right you had your chance you got control of everything for like eight years and entertainment is in shambles the entertainment industry from top to bottom is in [ __ ] Dire Straits right now video games and comic books and animation and movies and they're just starting to course correct but it takes time it takes time to especially these these games and movies that take years to develop it's going to take a long time for like more middle of the road stuff to start coming out but you can see all the people getting fired all the people getting laid off and I think part of that is the economy part of it is I think they're using the economy to get rid of people that they know are going to be a pain in the ass and I think General Public's just over it they're over it and again I want to make it clear just diversity and representation is not the same as wokeness I you know there's a huge difference and I think people don't sometimes don't forget that yeah um I I think we Tred make it clear in this channel because even even liberals even Democrats are starting to to use woke in a derogatory term it's basically the left-wing version of being like hyper religious or you know to the point of it being a cartoon right and it's a religion when it's a religion you're looking for blasphemers and every you know time you you turn the computer on and you know everybody has to everything has to be represented at all times you're or you're a terrible person that's what we're talking about with that not just cuz a game happens to have diversity that does not equal wokeness I want make that clear but anyway sh you about these games CU we're already way into this video we're way into it so that's game one that's that's not the we DEI-funded game "Dustborn" flops with extremely low player numbers. talk about the other one that's not the good one wa there was that's what there was a good one yeah this is even better this is uh this is dust born this is dust born which is I didn't even know this game existed until a couple of weeks ago and again if you wanted the bottle 2016 I hate to use the term cringe but I've been using woke in this one if you wanted to bottle 2016 woke cringe in one video game it's this we're going to watch this uh and react to this overview on Tik Tok from just say Stephen and then we're I'm going to go out and show you the dust borne song they have a song is this like we're going to win in the end from Shir it's exactly that except we've got like one of each uh diverse type of person everybody's represented and it's like we're going to win in the end yeah worse than the Monster High songs that a new show it is probably one of the cring things I've ever seen my entire life I'm not even like like if you were going to do a parody of what a Dei sweet baby Inc video game was it would be this I'm not even kidding it's like ridiculous show it to us okay are you ready for this yeah I guess again hat tip to just just say Stephen on on Tik Tok dust born is a game that just came out and it's already being called the biggest flop of 2024 with whopping 49 people currently in game 49 people playing it this is a couple of days ago too well might have gotten more people if they're interested 83 players alltime Peak okay 83 83 well as soon as everybody starts hearing about it they might go play it just to see how bad it is though and then they take the wrong message we sent sent a wrong message oh my God we hitam no hate playing 80 83 people played this so what exactly happened to dustborne I mean it was featured in Gamescom 2023 they had a big marketing push and it was even funded by the Norwegian government oh my what they use taxpayer dollars to bankroll this game so actual tax dollars went into making This Disaster well it's a music Adventure combat so looks like Musical Adventure Combat Action game which you can do high-fi Rush is actually really good this is basically like a a 2016 version of Hi-Fi Rush okay I just think awful Concord and Dustborn fails due to its poor gameplay and forced diversity, catering to a niche audience that's too small to sustain the game. lot of things put together Power of Words to hurt people wait wait wait wait wait what yes you saw that that's how you'd Fight The Power of Words yeah did you see the trigger attack yes wait she was triggered she was saw this back in like 2013 2014 this started to creep in where the audience changed and everybody was triggered and offended by everything and every comic all of a sudden had to have or or the Creator had to be bunch of check boxes right and and we into that ourselves it happened so quick it was like as soon as Tumblr hit like all this nonsense just like everything had and if we we actually had people coming into our comic which had been around for years at that point and they're like how come your comic's so white where's this type of person that type I'm like boy it's boy we've been online for years and literally here's the thing if we wrote we wrote Comic characters in that weren't we'd be accused of likeing or getting it wrong we had uh somebody we used to be friendly with burnt their comic to the ground because their their comic had fictional brown people and they got called out by tumbler rights for having fictional brown people from a fictional world because they they weren't the they weren't diverse enough to be able to do that it was it was you can't win you couldn't win but yeah we saw this happen but this is if you took all that insanity and bottled it and then sold it for 30 bucks I guess it's not me but with the player comom being literally less than 100 I less than 100 people okay this is what happens we I've taught this at length the majority of people are in honest if if you put out a a de infused video game and it sold millions of copies and made [ __ ] tons of money there' be all kinds of sequels that' be it everybody be going to to to to woke town right they'd be like yeah this is where the money is but you had a chance multiple multiple multiple chances going back to uh again Hogwarts Legacy right Hogwarts Legacy they the people that are into games like dustborne or the people try to cancel Hogwarts Legacy that game sold 25 28 million copies and this game couldn't even break a hundred users well Savvy artist points out and I agree with this they're saying about that they got taxpayer F they didn't get crowdfunding they did tax fun funded they said that money could have gone to like a school or rent assistance program or something to benefit Society healthare or something and instead we get we're dust born we're the new porn we're the new porn and you're racist we're aliens we behind you and we're threatening you and we fight by being triggered jeez I I just I can't uh this is just yeah there's 18 people when uh ver dark was looking at it um God we Games prioritizing diversity and inclusion (DEI) are failing to sell, while games that don't focus on DEI are selling well, indicating a shift in the gaming industry. should play us on the channel just to see how freaking bad this game is I don't want to I want to give it I selling well Hogwarts Legacy they tried to destroy that uh Wukong black myth Wukong selling like crazy poor selling like crazy Stellar blade selling like crazy this [ __ ] not selling no it's just not
