earlier a little spit of rain but now sunny and fairly chilly at night 64° this feels like October baseball yeah the fall is in the air baby hump day here at the Little League World Series tomorrow two games one international one on the US side and an off day Friday before we get in a championship week we are getting down to it we'll start with Chase Anderson he's a good hitter he is the second baseman and takahashi's for his pitch is a ball ball one Chase is the son of the manager Jonathan Anderson who is helped by Kyle Bono and Paul bibo bends one in there for a strike yeah fast ball didn't work so we said let me try that breaking pitch in there make sure that works and indeed it [Music] did oh he just missed badly with that one 5'4 125 out of the Sanford middle school he's in the sixth grade his favorite team is the Phillies he loves Bryce Harper with a name like Chase and Old Coach compared him to Chase Utley oh re balls set a strike from Takahashi you look at nikama Short Stop he's playing way over by Third Base anything up the middle is going to be a knock that's a good one there and he needed it he saw mom Michelle Anderson right there a little anxious that be a little easier to be in that third base coaching box that's ball four that's a good start for Chase Anderson and Florida the lead off walk yeah I think first comes the first they're going to see a couple pitches and then get ready for the big guys to get up there a very good start six pitches in next up is JJ Feliciano he is arguably their best pitcher the they have some depth there he plays short stop oh GRE pitch has a lot of movement on it little too much there yeah he's short arming it right now when you throw that pitch you got to finish it start it up a little higher make the batter move a little more and this one underground hard hit could be two Magno nakama safe is the call at first base that's an infield right there up the middle that would turn it and this was hit really hard yeah that was on a on a laner there called Smoke nice Hustle by JJ to beat that ball out there that's the thing with Hawaii they might not hit the farthest or get the most extase hits but they play the defense roosen oh in the dirt I wonder too Takahashi given what he had done at the regional R threw one pitch came out of the game to get it out early on after walk maybe settle a little of he remembered and I like where he's at too fast ball he's a little late so if that off speed does come his timing is going to be just [Applause] right oh b b b good call by the Home PL umpire Zack well if you can get out of the first inning having thrown that many pitches and issued three walks you'd have a chance it's a very uncharacteristic Hawaii team right now they have issued 19 walks 19 beat he talks about his bats this the second day now from talking with him understanding he told me you should have seen batting practice today he thinks it's going to be a different story the way they took their BP in the cages so look out for the bats to be hot here for Hawaii right off the bat there is the batting order Peko usually plays Left Field apparently he do during one of the practices today and tweaked his back a little bit so he is just going to swing to start not play in the Outfield and that's why you don't see his name in left but he will lead things off followed by velocity we've seen from some other pitchers looking for more craftiness from him he's going to have like he did first pitch breaking ball he's going to be working both sides of the plate slow boy to I mean I don't mean like early in the summer and he's a beast behind the plate too so give this guy his chance this would be a big opportunity that should have been a double play easily and instead tarus with great speed is out there at second base first guy who recognized the Umpire Paul Tara safe was Masis at first he ran over to cover Third Base cuz everyone else had run off the [Applause] Alexander and that will do it clean on the infield with the exception of the footwork of Feliciano but it's one Z after one hold quiet down so so much time getting this ready each day it's absolutely amazing we did do the routine uh with Liam as well on what it takes for his hair those curls are gorgeous it hasn't been CAC an easy road though for Liam to get here talk about the injury he went through coming into the summer he fractured his left tiia on March 2nd so he was in a full l c for six weeks weeks he had to go through six weeks of physical therapy and he was finally cleared on June 5th to play baseball so he was swimming he was doing baseball practice pitching lessons hitting lessons practicing twice a day to get himself ready for this tournament so we're very proud of him and we're very blessed that he's able to play and he's he's feeling very lucky to be able to be here oh well let me tell you his pickle ball was on point CU we crushed in the pickle ball game so that's good to hear um Ravi and fge you're not going to be happy to hear this but it's been confirmed by CAC and Nathan that he does chicken tenders no sauce is that correct correct no sauce on any of his they're growing so much and we forget because they're so independent and they like do stuff on their own but they're big kids still and he be like Mom I just want to hug and I was like okay come on and he want to lay down with me and cuddle and so coach heard it and was like cuddles and it stuck so all Allstar season he has been cuddles how is he liking that he's embracing it he was upset at
