who plays in the steel city we've got a sensational matchup for you fans have been filing in and getting ready for this game as we'll see a squad from the M the Kent State golden flashes taking on a team from the ACC the Pittsburgh Panthers for EA Sports college football re stavis with you alongside David poock and Jesse Palmer time to get this game started the golden flashes will kick it off to get us underway from inside the 10 here he comes able to find enough room to get it out across the 25 he's brought down at the 26 the Panthers offense will get the first possession of the game and here he is one of the best receivers in the game and he just commands attention both from the defense and from the fans yeah he's a guy you got to keep your eye on him you're going to see him line up all over the field in this game he can play in the slot he can play out wide he can run the entire gamut in the route tree as well really nothing this guy can't do trying to make that Rush think on the draw play here they've got it to the 49 yd line and they'll move the chain and you're going to hear this guy's name a lot going to ride the big fella he's such a stud they're going to build the offense around him this is just game one but you're going to get a lot of big runs from this cat he'll pull it on the read can't get him to the ground and a good solid pick up before the defense Cuts him down ran the ball on first down let's see what they do on second back to throw it's holste it's complete to the left and they not second down but he got past the line the game Pittsburgh has a really nice drive going the give to the back and they drag him down but not before he picks up the first down first down physicality wins football games being able to run the football create balance and and right here just chews up another first down gives you another chance to maybe continue to run the football unleashes one deep and this is dropped incomplete pass he had a huge gain in his fingers and he couldn't hold on so guys over the last few years there have been seismic changes to college football realignment name image of lightness but one of the biggest changes the transfer for yeah and now guys that are unhappy or in a situation where they see something that they'd rather be in now you can leave and there is no penalty so a lot of recruiting Jesse on other people's teams that go on throughout a season yeah it's 36 and it's a lot of pressure on coaches to re-recruit their own players as well to try to keep those rosters intact but the transfer portal completely flips rosters upside down one team that struggles this year if they get one key addition it's a team potentially competing for a national championship next season wants to throw on first down grabbed in the middle it's Reynolds they'll get it down to the 8 yd line on that throw and catch and the defense is backed up against the wall going to work on second down in the red zone is still some ground to cover to pick up that first down he got it and he's into the end zone touchdown Pittsburgh they draw First Blood and that is exactly what you want to open the season with a drive like that you love as a head coach to watch your offense take the field and establish a rivm and consistency the way they did there everything they dialed up was working to Perfection they go 10 plays on the opening drive cap it off with a [Music] touchdown on to attempt the try KCK on exra point and the pat makes it 7 nothing they put together a 74 yd touchdown drive and they finish things off with an eight- yd toss for the [Music] score lining up to cover the kick after that touchdown Drive and it'll come out to the 25 no attempt at a return the golden flashes offense will try to get something going with their first possession here are our impact players for this game and it goes beyond executing an assignment to make an impact in the game yeah obviously we were talking to both coaching staffs this week and we asked them who needs to step up and play while they immediately pointed to these guys right here they are the he's oh and after the big gain the ball's loose how about that alert play from the defense to Corral that fumble well you always worry about turnovers in the first game and for this young man he's got to be able to turn the page I know that was his first Carry of the Year puts it on the ground that's the nightmare scenario but you got to be able to wash that and flush it out you got to be able to play the next play [Music] looking for a productive play on first down he wants to throw fires to the middle oh he drops the football he had it right down the gut of the field instead it'll be second down couldn't make the connection last time let's see if they throw it again and a good solid pick up there before the defense knocks him down effective draw plays in the running game really begin with the quarterback the quarterback's got to be a great sail you got to really make the defense think its pack so keep your eyes focused down field till the last possible second turnaround and hand it off and by that point the defensive ends have rushed way up field and there's less bodies for the running backs to have to maneuver around before finally moving forward they stop him short of the marker and they'll turn it over on down offense getting set for first down on down and it's incomplete if you're going to take a hit like that you might as well hang on to the ball after the quarterback and receiver failed to hook up they'll try it again on second down to the air it's ulatowski caught near the sidelines he'll pick up a few before going out of bounds if they can convert here that type of play can really give you a shot of momentum on third down going up top got his man downfield slips one guy now he's loose touchdown Kent State what a grab and go for the score and this offense gets on the board and the first passing touchdown of the season and I feel pretty confident saying the first of many this offense looks like they're in a good Rhythm and this passing attack is going to be hard to stop [Music] ling up to add another is on for the extra point hit that one with some aggression for the point after quick strike offense on that three playay scoring Drive and the finisher coming courtesy of that touchdown toss from 45 yds out here he comes from inside his own five couldn't find a way to create that broken field as he stopped at the 25 the pit offense back on the field and ready to roll they were really aggressive going for it in their own end last time and put them in a tough spot David yeah aggressive Reckless they got to find the balance with this offense to really be productive and last possession they went for they rolled the dice Palmer and it didn't work out for them yeah if you're better on third down moving forward though you can keep yourself out of those situations on second down he'll fire they get enough crush and it pays off the sack at the 20 they line up with some serious work to do if they want to convert this one on Third and long hoping to throw beyond the sticks and it slips through his feet fingers incomplete that would have been a huge game if he could have held on pit will have to boot this one away they'll have to punt for the first time this afternoon looking for Running Room he'll get it to the 43 yd line before he stop guys let's see how it goes this time for the Kent State offense how big is this drive scored a touchdown the last time they had it defense gets a stop and now it's up to them in a tie game all right so if you're the offensive coord here let's dial it in who are your best matchups and best Playmakers to take advantage of this golden opportunity yeah and I'm interested to see this defense too like the momentum is clearly not in your favor how do you get it back how do you make a big play do you be more aggressive here to try to get the football back to your offense they'll snap this one from the 42 it's first and 10 to the air it's owski complete to the left just what this offense was looking for sets him up the 26 with the first down that's a first for the [Applause] off looking to move it through the air throws toward the end zone incomplete man is he lucky to get that one back defense that close to an interception after the Miss fire it's second and 10 he's looking to throw catch in the middle it's Thomas he's brought down but he's got him inside the 10 first and goal from the eight so so close to cashing it in for this offense a first down run in the Red Zone not much of a gain there on the ground and that will do it for the first quarter both teams wanted to establish the run and they have done exactly that in the first quarter they fought to a stand still in the first let's see who gets the edge early in the second let's go they'll keep it on the ground right up the gut looking for six they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one it's still third and goal it's looking like they're going to have to try to throw this one into the end zone here on third down David quarterback's got to be careful can't get greedy because you know these windows they close fast extremely Tight Windows find your big body guys that you know can win in contested situations here on third down they'll try to put three on the board as a field goal unit comes on and it's no good after that failed field goal attemp fellas still tie ball game the Pittsburgh offense is back on the field the last time we saw this offense we had to look quick going over the top and that one Falls incomplete they Tred to go over the top on first down second down coming up couldn't make the connection last time let's see if they throw it again here's the hand off bulls his way forward found a little bit of Running Room knocked down at the 24 after a pick up of four and that last run leaves him with a third down well they keep it on the ground back to throw it's Holstein and the heat will get home and the quarterback goes down at the 17 it will line up to pun it away they'll look to pin him deep slips through the line he was working his way on the return toward Midfield they'll stop him at the 46 offense making its way under the field to start the drive they're trying to slow that Rush down with the draw oh man there's some big hitting going on in the trenches right now this defense they take a lot of pride in stopping the Run let's keep our eye on them throughout the course of the game and see if they can M this running attack dialing up a second down pass play complete to the right across the 25 he's got room ripped off a huge shun play on that one as he gets the first down before he steps out of bounds first for the off on the run it's Thomas they knock him down right there how about the defender being a heat seeking missile he was on radar lock he found the football and flew down with some bad intentions pushes ahead for a pick up of one down to the 13 Bo they'd love to move the sticks here and take a shot at it on first and goal trying to move the sticks on third down through the air didn't have much of a choice just had to throw that one away it'll be fourth down here comes the field goal unit as they'll try to get the three kick is good the offense has three points to show for the drive and guys after the field goal now they have the lead after putting three on the board the kickoff unit ready to go on the run from inside of zone five he was looking for more Running Room but none to be found as he stopped at the 23 the pit offense back on the field and ready to roll last time David it was one two three kick the last drive that three and out sometimes that puts your defense in a bad spot and you got to get a drive together here so you don't wear the defense out I just think David too predictable that last Drive they got to do something here to get this defense on their heels dropping back it's holste he'll take a deep shot here and that's going to be incomplete going for broke on second down the third Downs coming up smart offensive coordinators they're going to throw deep balls especially those 5050 balls you hear about all the time my wide receiver is better than your DB well not on this play they'll throw it to the back on the screen they make the stop but not before the screen has hit him for a first down and much more really good execution by this offense he's looking to throw it got it in the middle it's Reynolds they make the the stop right there good pickup and still short of the first down second and short now after that completion quarterback checking off now they'll try the right side tackle is made but not until he gets the first down wow the running back there showing you his skill set as he's able to rip off that one for a first down this pit offense has been clicking on this drive to the air on first down got out of out of trouble and throws caught over the middle it's Hammond that play was designed to go to the running back they were hoping they were going to get man coverage and one-on-one that back is going to win that matchup every single time that ought to be enough to give pit the first down well the offense knew what they needed to get that first down so they dial up the running play they get just enough to keep the drive alive trying to find his man on first down time to take a shot touchdown Panthers Le the grab and finish the deal in the end zone man I just love the execution by this offense late in the half man you want to take the lead you want to get that momentum on your side and they do it they finish it with the passing game they tell you what keep that passing game up you can keep this lead keep the momentum and keep putting up numbers lining up to attack one more onto that lead and the extra point is good and it's a fourpoint lead let's go to the studio now and check in with Kevin Connors Kevin what do you got boys if it's happening in college football we've got eyes on it check this out Oklahoma state is just boat racing them right now thanks to an offense that's putting up video game numbers they're up by 17 over the Sharks just another week of college football where we've come to expect the unexpected fellas and how about that one Kevin will be keeping an eye on everything going on elsewhere and he goes out of bounds after coming up with positive yardage there after that last completion it's second down second coming looking for a man it's ulatowski and it's intercepted a turnover for the defense going the other way and he's got room and he's going to take it all the way touchdown Panther the DB saw it he thought don't drop it don't drop it then don't get caught don't get caught and he did the pick six hey these guys can play offense too now look at this I showed you I can be a wide receiver coach might split him out at wide receiver next week after making that big play but defense great job making the interception and you're right doing something with it don't just slide down don't be content take that thing all the way back and the extra point is good and they have an 11-point lead there lining up to kick it off after the pick six and that defense will come out feeling it and he takes this from inside the five just never had a chance to shake loose and he'll be brought down at the 24 guys let's see how it goes this time for the Kent State offense running out of time here in the first half and they do have a chance and the Freshman will talk up a sack there's a timeout called as this offense tries to find a way to draw a little closer so let's see if they can make up for that loss on second down from the 18 he's looking to throw safe completion on the screen and he'll run across the sidelines after the good gain they line up and it is a long way to the sticks from here thir looking for a physical attack from the gun timeout called by the defense is their first of the half as they'll go to the sideline and try to make adjustments and the golden flashes will putt this one away and they'll bring him down to get the offense started on the next Drive LLY gets set first down let's go wait wasting no time throwing on this drive and this will be incomplete a big hit there forces second down offense and an empty [Applause] set looking to throw it's Holstein pressure coming and they get to the quarterback and knock him down back at the 16 we've got a timeout here late in the the first half and they'll try to get more points on the board before the [Applause] break not exactly the ideal situation for this offense third and long backed up inside their 20 going to try to pop one on the screen on the move at the 30 big big gain on that one as he Steeps out of bounds with a first down perfect play call against the Perfect Defense they came with the Blitz and the offense had the screen pass called at the right time running back gets it in his hands he's got Lyman out in front getting hats on hats you can't do it any better than that good solid pick up there now they can start to smell it with a first down at the 31 pit pushing the BCE looking to go up top on first down he lets it Fly and that deep shot's going to wind up incomplete but we do have a flag on the field let's see what the official says and the defender just way too handsy on that last play you could see all the contact as the ball was in the air you simply can't do it and the referee's CAU they'll throw it from the Red Zone and good coverage there there to knock it away and deny the score this defense is going to have to make some adjustments here at halftime because they have been taken advantage of deep down the field in the passing game they've already given up two TD passes that was almost number three and we're only in the first half third his Drive was clicking along but after a couple of misfires threatening to stall out on Third and 10 looking for a man it's holste gets it out quickly quick timeout from the offense to save precious seconds a nice job by the QB there timing out that drag throw it's Zone coverage so he's got to make sure he gets it to his receiver in a window to allow him to catch the ball and then turn it up field the ight it's good and now the lead is extended a little further so they get the late field goal right before the half and not much time after this kickoff for an answer he'll start the return inside his spot really disciplined job by the coverage unit to get down there and make the stop at the 19 it's first down but the offense is just going to take a knee and go to the locker [Applause] room ready first half in the book time now to join Kevin Connors in our halftime update thanks guys what a scene there in Pittsburgh What a fine performance we've seen and it' be easy to say these two offenses are glad we've hit half time based on their respective performances it would also be accurate turnovers and sacks have told the story so far and you got to believe the play calling has been the issue right time to shred those game plans and just get back to basics and with that let's send it back to the guys on the north side of Pittsburgh thanks for that halftime report Kevin pit will kick off ready to get things started here in the third quarter on the move from inside is five he was looking for some Running Room but not much to be found as he stopped at the 18 guys let's see how it goes this time for the Kent State offense if they're going to get on top in this game they're going to have to find a way to get the running game going in the second half agree so it can create some more balance some more unpredictability I I feel like this defense has got a good beat on what they're doing especially if they don't mix it up a little bit so I do look for a little second half running the football Palmer out of this group and I think the thing Dave is they just got to be more physical I don't think this is a scheme question about trying different run plays I think it's up to the Big Fellas up front they've just got to make the decision that they're going to be tougher here in the second half so that they can win this game they're going to try to throw for it on third down quick strike complete he'll make a play on third down he's got enough for the first as they mark it at the [Applause] 32 good enough for first he's going to pass fires to the wide out a strike downfield they make the stop but this passing game does some damage and they move the stick with the first down the golden flashes want to pick up the tempo quarterback on the keeper he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three last play was a near disaster now dealing with second and [Music] 13 from the gun the running back looking for room just a solid stop by this sophomore and this offense is des to keep this drive alive trailing by multiple possessions and it's getting late trying to get to him and the misconnection on third down and the golden flashes will line up to pun it away this will be the second time they've had to kick it away a fairly short distance here toward the sidelines not his best work the Pittsburgh offense is back on the field always good to get get points on a drive David but Chip Shot field goals can leave you a little empty and I think it's great to get points but the great teams get touchdowns in the red area you got to get out there this time and execute a little better on this drive you're absolutely right David generally the best Red Zone offenses are the ones that run the ball the best so let's see if they can be a little bit more physical on this drive comes out throwing on first down he's going up top and it's knocked away downfield the DB getting a hand in there second and 10 after the previous play nice job and coverage there offense trying to take a shot down field the defender able to tip that one up in the air and force it incomplete a confident tough efficient run gets it up to the 44 offensive lineman love when you sneak in draws when you sneak in screens it holds these defensive lineman accountable you want to rush the quarterback going to fly up field every single play he'll sneak right behind you and get some yardage awesome job up front by this defensive line being so good at the point of attack and eating blocks eating some double teams that allows these linebackers to run free unencumbered and get to the football offense on the Move hey big play there gets it to the third you got to feel good for this kid too he worked so hard this past off season will put himself in position to be the starting running back he's got a lot of skill guys he's got speed open field running ability I think is going to be a big part of the offense this season every offense wants to be able to run the ball and be physical especially on first down and you want to create second and short third and short or just get first downs like that run right [Applause] there from the Red Zone he's going to throw it looking for the score it's incomplete he was shooting for the end zone right there after misfiring it's second down the give out of the gun fouls through the defense he just broke the sentury mark 100 yds on the ground and that will put him over 10 and one away to start the season really need to pick up this conversion and avoid having to settle for the field goal extending the play he's run out of bounds but he's got enough to move the sticks these quarterbacks that just bounce and bounce and bounce and hold the ball down and make plays defensively you just got to keep coming you can't get tired um you can't get you can't get frustrated really it's the frustration that gets to you because they keep making plays and keep getting first downs got another opportunity coming up first and goal try to hold him to a field he've got it down to the three now it's second and goal looking to throw it's Holstein it's complete and he will score touchdown P like a Thanksgiving turkey there is being CAU no shot they have no idea how to get in this quarterback's head he's on fire everything he's doing he's working defensively we got to figure something out we got to try to do something a little bit different bring more pressure at this right shooter he's on so much fire he might as well just send everybody Blitz everybody live with the results cuz everything else ain't working anyways unit on the field and the extra point will tack defensive back staying in phase and batting it away couldn't make the connection on first down now here on second takes the hand off it's Reed shows off another move and gets down to the 33 yd line time winding down in the quarter as they come to the line they'll try to pick up the first through the air what a snag by the defense bringing it back he's inside the 40 and what a way to end the quarter for this defense forcing the big turnover guys has the end of the quarter and Pittsburgh has the lead lead they built a comfortable lead after 34 of play Let's Take a look at how we got here they'll break the seal on this quarter here on first down easy dropping back it's ulatowski and he throws his third pick of the day is head has to be spinning got some room to run the 30 the 20 and it's going to be a pick six touchdown Pittsburgh and that just might do it man offense needed points needed points badly defense comes up with the big interception takes it all the way back just to pad their lead a little bit and make this game almost almost Out Of Reach [Music] ready to try the point after the kick is up and good and put one more on the lead they're about to kick it away and the defense probably can't wait to get back out there after the the pick six and he'll bring it out of the end zone that gamble did not pay off as they bring him down at the 12 yd line guys let's see how it goes this time for the Kent State offense that last pick six after a drive like that David can swing the momentum of a game nowhere to go and the ball is loose oh and they got the ball back but that's just going to make it much tougher on this drive so after reviewing the undisputable video evidence the replay booth has decided to overturn the call they'll come to the line and try to get out of this mess on second down from the five he's looking to throw and it'll be incomplete this is some physical pass defense you make up the game plan and not a lot on the play sheet for this third and long from inside their own 20 looking to throw it's us toski and it's picked off for the fourth time today touchdown Panthers the defense put six on the board with a big time interception return D this you didn't think it could any worse right you thought this game's over as it is anyways offense still throwing the football still trying to make plays and the defense just continues to pour it on gets the pick makes its way all the way to the end zone [Music] they'll try to add another to their lead the extra point and with the extra point they push the lead out a little further they'll kick it off and send that defense right back out there to try to score again after the pick six and they desperately wanted to attempt a return but decided not to instead they'll take the Touchback guys let's see how it goes this time for the Kent State offense well the good news is they threw a touchdown pass last time it was just to the wrong team Jesse well that's an unfortunate part of the game for quarterbacks but guess what they do happen so you've got to be able to turn the page here and Lead this offense well I think you know this defense is going to be aggressive they're going to jump routes they're going to play aggressive you got to take advantage of that maybe use that this time to your advantage hit hard just as he released it on first down and just couldn't get it to the receiver that incompletion leads to Second down and 10 relo he's looking to throw using the quick game nice pitch and catch there and they'll have enough for the first down the golden flashes come to the line with a new set of downs the aerial assault continues going downfield for the big play and it falls incomplete but that could have been disas pass a Defender was right there clock is under four minutes as they come to the line for second down scanning the field it's ulatowski receiver looks it in it's complete you just got the feeling this defense is going to make it hard on them right they've got the lead it's late they're going to try to tackle everybody in bounds offense is going to have to really work for this and be smart you got to attack the sidelines you got to throw first down and that makes five interceptions in this one the nightmare is alive and as a defensive lineman late in the game man when you know it's passed you're pinning your ears back trying to get to the quarterback and DBS are trying to do this pad them stats get the int nice job by this D they stay aggressive and push their way out to the 33 and it's first down here's this offense with a fresh set of [Music] downs they'll throw it on first down pocket starts to collapse can't find his man as he took a shot trying to deliver that football and it'll be second down couldn't make the connection last time let's see if they'd throw it again quarterback making adjustments with his receivers the play action fake going to throw it over the top of the D catch inside the 30 and still running touchdown Panther and the pubble has started and the offense putting up more points and guess who's jacked up this home crowd starting the season off with offensive fireworks and looking to go one and0 they are loving their squad [Music] [Applause] lining up to tack one more onto that lead and with the extra point the lead is even bigger quick strike offense on that three-play scoring drive and the score comes on a huge play in the passing game covering 67 yds to the end zone he'll bring it out that gamble did not pay off as they bring him down at the 12 yd line guys let's see how it goes this time for the Kent State offense mistakes are going to happen as they did on that last drive now how will they respond Jesse and this is the kind of guy who's going to take full accountability that was my bad that's on me I'm about to leave this offense now down the field and score some points dang Palmer I wish I would have played with you I didn't play with many quarterbacks that were just like yeah my bad hey guys I got this sorry about that it was more you should have ran a better route and he just flat dropped it I think he wanted to run before he secured it you see an incompletion there I think a big reason why this team is in such a hole right now in the fourth quarter is they have just not been able to find the explosive plays throwing the ball and you got to wonder at this point is it too little too late all kinds of room to throw that one in there there to make the tackle but the big throw is good enough to give them a first down here's this offense with a fresh set of downs going up top on first down unloads to the wide out nearly another interception it'll be second down couldn't make the connection last time let's see if they throw it again looking to pass it's ulatowski makes the grab on the left a 6yd pickup that leaves him with third and four trying to pick up a first down from the gun on third down got his man on the right they are on the move as they pick up the first down they'll spot it at the 28 here's this offense with a fresh set of downs they'll throw it on first down it's complete didn't pick up a lot there moving forward just a few this offense has their work cut out for him man because the coverage has been so tight and if you're not throwing to the Seline or you're not getting past the sticks this defense is going to tackle you in bounds like they just did on that last play and ble the clock he's looking for an open man on second down just gets rid of it before the heat that pass is incomplete and they might be fortunate it wasn't knock free for a fumble it'll be third down we from the gun wants to pass throws to the wide out makes the grab gets out of bounds after the big play and they'll be set up in business with a first and goal this offense in scoring position with a fresh set of downs they want to just keep throwing it he caught it and he'll run out of bounds just short of the goal line wanted to get it in but couldn't quite get home now on second and goal 29 29 pH he's looking to throw firing to the right complete and he crosses the goal line and gets the touchdown but way too way too late but they still do count it for six and this has been a rough day for this offense and finally some good things to happen build some momentum maybe for the future you know that's that's the way the coaches spin it when you're getting beat up and you're getting destroyed like listen let's find something for the future let's keep fighting let's keep working this team's done that put some points on the board so it's not all bad point and they did tack on the extra point we check in with Kevin Connor what's going on Kevin all right guys a little update on what else is happening in college football this weekend Illinois is running away with this one behind an offense that's striking on the ground and through the air with military like Precision they're up by 22 over the coyotes for now it's back to you fellas but of course if anything changes you'll see it right here oh and how about that I know Kevin and those guys will be keeping an eye on it for us at the 40 there he goes nothing but green ahead he's at the 20 and we have breaking news they score yet another touchdown and this always is the debate of where you fall it's your job to stop me or I should get conserved cuz this offense obviously has had themselves a day and apparently their day is not over they're going to continue to keep scoring and the defense better do something about it [Music] they'll try to add another to their lead and the extra point will tack another one onto this lead that kind of Drive will boost your confidence One play hit the big pass put a touchdown on the board the kickoff team team out there getting set and he'll just take a knee and this drive will start at the 25 guys let's see how it goes this time for the Kent State offense not a lot to feel great about in this one Jesse but I'm sure they'll try to seek out some positives well this might be an opportunity to Reese to go back when they watch this game and just find the plays and the schemes that were working weren't a lot obviously D but maybe an opportunity for the coaching staff to condense The Playbook a I was going to say there's not a lot of good go back to that'll be a quick film session cuz there was more negatives than positives but when you look at this this week you got a week to figure it out figure out what your offense is going to be moving forward stopped at the 43 after the 15yd pickup offense lines up for a first and 10 from the 43 looking downfield it's ulatowski excellent coverage and good use of the hands to knock it away hey this defense has put a game together like it is hard to put all the facets of Defense together run defense pass defense they've been so good man dialed in you could tell they were ready they were fast they were physical they' dominated this football game today they make the stop but the sweet ruin catches plenty to give him a first down and the golden flashes come to the line with a fresh set of downs he'll come out throwing on first down going for the big play a sensational grab down the field there as they try to at least put a positive spin on the end of this game looks as if we have an injury on that last play and we'll take a break to check him out after that huge gain now a chance to cash it in from just outside the five he's looking to throw going for six and good hands there by the defense on that shot to the end zone and this is just one of those days man where everything has gone wrong right like they just haven't been in a rhythm they haven't they haven't got it going and never built the momentum this is this is one of those days you learn from you try to grow throw to the end zone it's pick off and they'll drag him down after a good return on the interception he up them pass rushers bringing them DBS that's what I'm doing in this situation when I got the lead by a couple scores late in the ball game in the fourth quarter I'm going to rush the passer like crazy I'm going to put all those off he goes and that was a huge run that almost went to the house the defense kept him from scoring after that last big Gainer they'll put it in play first and 10 from their own 49 they'll run it out of the shotgun still running at the 40 and he's brought down after a nice gain now on First and 10 from the [Music] 35 they'll try the counter open space at the 25 and how much Running Room have they've been able to find just all day they are piling up unbelievable rushing stats while this game is all but decided the offense's job is to score so they might and they're going to put another one into the end zone as they just keep piling points on the scoreboard and you knew this one was over already but how about an exclamation point to go with with it another score for this offense they've had themselves a great day and the stats just continue to pile up lining up for the Pat the kick is up and good and put one more on the lead quick work on that scoring drive just four plays and finish to deal with the short touchdown run from the two and he passes on the Touchback here he comes didn't find any in that kickoff coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 and here we go final play of the game right here looking downfield it's ulatowski here's a throw downfield late last pass Falls incomplete and that's going to do it the old coaching cliche go one and0 every week and for the first week they get it done great start to the season that's what you want you want to come out find a way to win was it perfect Absolut absolutely not you're going to find things to work on throughout the season but one and0 that's where you wanted to be and I think if you're the coaching staff of this winning team you've got to like what you've just seen first game of the year there was tremendous effort on the field guys flying around flying to the football trying to make the plays necessary to win this game they definitely made a few mistakes but that's what practice is for if you're the coaching staff I think you're
