College Football 25-FAMU Down 28 first-quarter (Rainy game)

welcome to Historic Nipper Stadium home of the Cincinnati Bearcats and they've been playing football here since 1902 and the fans are ready to see their team take the field and boy do we have a fun one ahead top 10 teams Target on their back going on their Road and right into the snake pit as we'll see a team from the Pack 12 a crew looking to make a statement taking on a team from the Big 12 the Cincinnati Bear Cats 4A sports college football I'm Reese Davis joined here in the booth by David poock and Jesse Palmer and guys let's get this thing [Music] started the kickoff team on the field as they'll send this one away he'll start the return inside his SP didn't find any crease in that kickoff coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 the Bearcats offense takes the field for the first time today here he comes and obviously defense is always going to be aware of a quarterback but boy he finds a way to put defenses on their heels all the time David I mean what can't he do he's got the weapons he's got the confidence he's got the experience Jesse these kind of guys are so hard to defend you're right open Runway ahead he's inside the 40 the 20 and he takes it all the way they couldn't stop him touchdown beats and these offensive coordinators tell you they want to St fast and they want to establish the game that is exactly what you did first drive you hand the football off making the big explosive run setting the tone for this football [Music] they'll try to add another to their lead and with the extra point they get the first seven of the game if only it were always this easy for the offensive coordinator One play big chunk yardage put points on the board just like that here he comes with the return he was looking for some Running Room but not much to be found as he stopped at the this match up on the outside Jesse a big play weapon for the offense a shut down corner for the Deep they say big time players make big plays in big games so who gets the best of this match up that's going to determine the game I mean such a fun chess match how much are they on each other during the game the head-to-head matchup that everybody wants to see brought down at the 28 but it's a 10yd game I love when players understand situations and they understand where the first down Mar is and they understand where I got to get to a lot of people you'll see run north south and try to bounce out wide and make big plays and the pass rush is effective and they tackle him at the 19 they'll try to get it going in the right direction this time second and long from the 19 feeling some heat and the pressure gets to him again another sack I think a big part of the formula to this team's success is their ability to get after the quart back in game one they had six sacks and obviously won that football game they know coming into this one today they have got and the ball comes out what a disastrous play oh look what I found the offense keeps it woo deep breath right man you you fumble that thing you cough it up you're like oh I really appreciate you brother I can't tell you how much I thank you cu the coaches would have been all over me but Big Time Break for the [Applause] [Music] offense the cat offense ready to go back to work after that last explosive running play David why not just try it again right I mean why not such a big long explosive run you think Jesse maybe give it to him again or and he's sprinting he'll take it all the way touchdown be cat an impressive run from the back gets him six points good drink of water and maybe a little oxygen it definitely need some oxygen after that long run but it looks simple right just hand the ball off when you can make big plays like this in the Run game man doesn't make offense fun he'll try to tack on one [Music] more and the extra point makes it 14 nothing what a way to send a message huge play in the running game one snap and you've got a touchdown on the board the kickoff team out there and ready to go and he'll bring it back he was hoping for something a little more dyam but they get him on the ground at the 20 and the offense heads out onto the field to get the drive started to say this has been a slow start is a bit of an understatement and they really need to get it going here Jesse that's right the opponent they're firing an all cylinders right out of the gate offensively for this unit he's taking the shot and that'll be incomplete man that would have been a big hitter on first down but second Down's coming up really important for a rank team going into a hostile environment like this one not to give the underdog reason to believe yes reason to believe and don't give the fans reason to get jacked up and excited come out early be in a business mode mindset you got to start fast you got to have a sense of urgency you cannot come sleepwalking into an environment like this because if you do and you make some mistakes this crowd will pounce on you and sees momentum oh they really could have used that catch there physical pass defense it brings up a fourth down this is a point where you just got to be able to focus the critical down and distances in this game like that third down right there when it's a good throw you got and he sacked a big play on fourth down to stop this drive looking for a productive play on first down they go to the ground got some room headed to the goal line touchdown Cincinnati and they take it in for six more points no midseason concentration laps here in week seven as they push out that lead and he made that extra point the wet Turf no problem at all Reese that's three for the young fell I mean this dude's smelling the end zone anytime he gets near it you know he's going to lower his shoulder do whatever it takes to get in the end zone the hat trick the third touchdown and he takes this from inside the five and good work by the coverage team to knock down the Return Man a little bit backed up to start this drive from their own 18 yd line they'll throw it on first down takes a hit as he fires hit hard just as he released it on first down and just couldn't get it to the receiver line getting set on second down misfired on the last play they'll go back to the air using the quick game and he's able to bounce off one tackle but still not a whole lot of running room I love playing manto man defense and I love getting up in your kitchen and jamming you at the line of scrimmage but it's really hard when they start running these Crossing routes and drags and ends because now I'm in Chase mode and the QB has a little it's complete a huge pick up big big gain on that one as he steps out of bounds with a first down what a beautiful throw and catch on this play and I love the job the receiver did tracking the ball in the air nice job of locating the throw and then hauling it in they're trying to get to him buys a little time with his feet just couldn't find an open man he'll get rid of it and it'll be second down good decision by the QB you're outside the pocket you're trying to find an open Target no one's open throw it away and Live to play another day wide out in motion he wants to throw here on second down coming after him they get to him as he throws oh picked off taking it the other way a really good return after the interception puts them in business at the 29 here comes the Cincinnati offense back on the field to the ground with the back get anyone got some room headed to the goal line and he'll finish the run in the endone oh [Music] you know this guy's had a big role in this offense this year especially when they get down close to the end zone that his fifth rushing touchdown on the year he's been a factor for these guys offense and let's check in with Kevin Conor in the studio Kevin lot of eyeballs on your game guys and a few on this interesting matchup as well two Lane is trailing right now but it's only a couple of points that quarterback just needs to show the Poise of a young sha King and they are right back in this it's a touchdown game they're trailing by seven to Tulsa we've got our eye on this one and everything else going on throughout the day guys and how about that one Kevin will be keeping he's going for it all and it's incomplete they were looking for the huge gain on first down after after the misfire now on second down he's looking to throw dances away from the heat he'll pull it down and he delivers the blow and he's still running he's run out of bounds but a big play on that one and it'll be a first down this guy just gives you nightm I mean he's just got so much electricity he just pulls it down and chews up yards like it's nothing that's a quarterback a qu back doing that to your defense gets it out quickly they make the stop but not before they do their work up top and pick up a first down that was a nice pickup running the drag route and finding that quiet soft spot in the zone yeah drag routs not only work against man coverage they work against zone two if you can find the soft spot and the quarterback gets to him early he can turn up field you saw that right there second down after that incompletion now he's going to Glide away from pressure and that pass will be Jarred loose on second down that brings up third down if they can convert here that type of play can really give you a shot of momentum fires to the right got his man downfield he'll be brought down at the three yd line an explosive play in the passing game has him on the door step the offense knocking on the door first and goal trying to Mar in Sprints into the end zone for a touchdown follow the blocker the offensive line will take you to the Hallelujah land and I tell you what most of the time ree it requires a little bit of skill to find that hole you know Slither through a little crack that was not a crap that was wide open didn't take a lot of vision because the blocking was outstanding he'll bring it back from inside his SP and The Return Man reaches the end of the line and down he goes the Bearcat offense ready to go back to work they'll try to put something together backed up a bit starting at their own 13 they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one well just nothing doing on that last run and they knew coming into this one they were going to be challenged right this is one of the best defenses in all of college football for them to have any shot they're going to have to do a lot better running the football crosses the 30 got away that is exactly what you're looking for when you talk exclusive plays the defense finally able to make the stop that's the end of the quarter and Cincinnati is on top they largely dominated this first quarter as indicated by the staffs back at it to open the quarter with this first down play hand off from the shotgun really nice stop there from this senior leader all right well the offense here they're trying to get this run game established they obviously don't break off a long run there but they're just trying trying to find their footing at this point and that pass intercepted he was trying to get that return going instead he'll hand it to his offense at the 38 well we know these are slick conditions today in this game wide receiver just didn't seem to really get a good grasp on the ball when it hit his hands didn't stick right away there's a a bit of a bobble and just destroying his way through the field he's run out of bounds but not before turning in a big pickup and moving the sticks for a first down now here's this offense with a fresh set of downs got some room ENT to the goal line and into the end zone for a touchdown well this offense is top 10 in the country in points per game because they've got a lot of speed and they've got home run hitters they score fast they don't need 10 plays to go down the field you saw it right there they've recruited well they've got Playmakers they're going to be a problem for defenses all year long almost ready to kick it away after scoring the touchdown and they thought about a return Then thought better of it they'll bring it out to the 25 here comes the Cincinnati offense back on the field after that last pick David they really need to take care of the ball this time no doubt and Palmer I want to know what Spurrier said to you on the sideline after a pick do that again and you'll be right here beside me for the rest of the game you got to go out you got to call your plays and I hope this coach St isn't going to be afraid to throw at this drive wants to throw it's sorby just a short pass to the tight end and that defense doesn't allow a cut back and they get him out of bounds after a short gain this is where you make the money on the drive ball at the 30 it's third and short got it on the outside it's Johnson he's run out of bounds but he's got enough to move the sticks and the Bearcats will snap it on First and 10 hands it off makes a man miss and he was able to run through one tackle but still only a modest gain after the three- yd pickup they come to the line Second and seven they'll Run play action fires to the wide out it's complete they get him on the ground but not before he gets enough for the first down and the Bearcats are marching down the field looking for a physical attack from the gun that run epitomizes a veteran Savvy senior who knows how to find space and they'll line up from the 31 on first down used the play fake now to throw just had to get rid of that one good job to avoid the loss second and 10 here5 on the ground it's prior and he's brought down after a nice game and another nice game by the offense all right defense we got to change something up here they're putting a big drive together play after play having a lot of success how do we break the Rhythm how do we give them something that can create a tackle for a loss or a sack or something to get momentum back on my side running back searching for a hole smashes through and he'll run across the sidelines after the good game they'd love to pick up this third down and get a fresh set with first and goal musling ahead on Third and short the Bearcats get it past the sticks really nice job on third down by this offense this offense has struggled on third Downs throughout the season not even in the top 50 but you know what when you make it third and short you can when you have the Run pass option and you're not predictable you can be more successful so let's see if this offense can continue to put themselves in good positions that pressure got to him and he just had to Chuck it out of bounds defense roll up deep in its own end on that last play now a second and long coming to the air it's sorby and it'll be incomplete this defense is physical and pass deep it's still third and goal we from the gun wants to [Applause] pass he was thinking touchdown on the scramble but they're able to stop him short of the end zone there's a Timeout on the field tight game here late in the first half so the offense will try to punch it in here on Fourth and goal from the one Powers forward [Applause] not only the fourth and goal stop but they get him in the back field at the four yd line they're backed up first and 10 from inside their own five and they'll try to get this drive started he's loose at the 15 they wrestle him to the ground but he's got plenty for a first down and it's not a surprise who they gave the football to when you get down in this area they're going to call his name the physical back they're going to give him the football they're going to use their identity of physicality and Run game down here in the Red Zone receiver looks it in it's complete finally run out of bounds but he has this offense rolling with a first down quarterback by himself in the back field they'll throw it on first down he fires to the left side oh and he gets downfield for the big catch pass inter defense [Applause] so the offense will decline that penalty after the big play as a defense you hate to let them move the chains on a penalty but that's what they did it's first and 10 he's going to pass got out of trouble and throws pulls it in and the defense had that one well covered just a short game there great job creating space that's what you're supposed to do you get man cover you got to find a way to get a step make it easy for your quarterback to read that leverage and and that pass is intercepted God room on the return he's on the 40 he's out of bounds showing off the hands on the pick and then the Nifty moves on a terrific return the mircat offense ready to go back to work that last Drive was promising at times but stalled out and they turned it over on Downs Jesse I think they got to do a better job here just being better early in the Downs on first down finding positive plays yeah and it's frustrating when you move the football and get stopped on the other side of the field and get no points but they've had some success and I like the can't find a man and he'll be knocked down at the 40 well obviously at this point in the first half the defense is finding themselves in a hole you just get the feeling if they're going to get back in this they're going to need more plays like that they're going to need sacks they're going to need turnovers they're going to have to create negative plays to get themselves some moment on Third and long hoping to throw beyond the sticks makes the catch it's Jones and he's not going to make it the defense denying him the first down we've got a timeout in the waning seconds of the half maybe a chance to get off a couple more plays they'll try to get something out of this drive and kick the field goal here on fourth down he'll have to generate power and some accuracy a 50 y from the left hasch he bomed it through a 50yd field goal showing off that powerful back so they'll decline the penalty pleas with the results of that last play so they get the late field goal right before the half and not much time after this kickoff for an answer he'll bring it back from inside the 15 coverage team there to make the stop they avoid disaster and that's the end of the first half first half in the books time now to join Kevin Connors in our halftime update thanks fellas be end of a very intriguing first two quarters of football in Cincinnati and if you thought that was a quick first half you'd be right on the money an offensive showcase yes but it's been those Dynamic running backs who have set the pace I'm curious to find out if this ground and pound approach is going to continue into the second half or if one of those defenses will actually show some pride with that said let's send it back to the guys at nippert Stadium thanks for that halftime report Kevin the bear cats will kick it away to crank up the second half here he comes from inside his own five didn't find any crease in that kickoff coverage and he'll be stopped at the 17 first snap of this drive will come from their own 17 trying to set the tone with the run on the move at the 30 he will step out of bounds but not before the big pick up and a first down for this offense he's now up to 83 yds on the ground and just another day at the office for the the national leader in rushia still on his feet at the 45 he got loose almost house it finally dragg down at the 32 his offense lines up feeling awfully good after that big play running behind that left side he works his way down to the 30 yd line before he stopped a gain of three it's just so nice to know you can start off on first down with positive plays positive yards hand the fball off set up a good second down got three on first down it's second and seven they'll throw it to the back on the screen at the 20 he's got space he's run out of bounds but a big play on that one and it'll be a first down well they pick up the first down there on the screen I love the offensive line there allowing the pass rush to get way up the field they completely baited their guys made them think that they got beaten that they were going to get the sack and then they sneaked the running back scre right in behind them and pick up the first and he does a really nice job finding open space and making a good gain before the stop is made going to work in the Red Zone they can't pick up the first down without getting it into the end zone quick pass on the Fly motion he's stopped quickly but not before he has enough for the first down and you know exactly what time it is when you get down here in the Red Zone you got to be able to run the football Andy barrels into the end zone for a touchdown what a day his third rushing touchdown when you got your college fantasy football team going this guy is racking those points up for you chaing chaing chaing and the extra point is good but they still Trail 3121 and he'll just take a knee and this drive will start at the 25 Here Comes the Cincinnati offense back on the field you want to talk about having a weapon to bail out a drive David that's why kickers are so important after that long field goal and listen important is a relative term we need to make longer passes and get better Gaines so we don't have to kick long field goals Palmer again on offense and they've got the weapons to do that David they just got to be able to dial those plays up guys have to be able to make them oneon-one to make life easier on this kick who is so important to this team didn't get much done on that first play of the drive it's second and 11 to the air It's sorby Quickly out to the tight end that had all the makings of bug meet windshield but how about the little corner taking on the big tight end and keeping him from getting the first passing game very effective on second down what about here on third gra near the marker it's cry there to make the stop but they use the back in the passing game and pick up the first down the Bearcats come to the line with a fresh set of downs the give to the tail back and that's a live ball behind the line defense coming up with a huge fumble recovery fumbles are great when you force them and you're always thinking about as a defensive player but man when the weather conditions start to come down it starts to rain and you know that Ball's a little bit slick and you know more are coming you really try to get to that football nice job getting the football out falling on top of it forcing the turn they're down to the 20 first and 10 might as well give it to him again well this offense came into the game knowing they wanted to be physical they wanted to establish the line of scrimmage and they're running downhill right at this defense they're turning out positive yardage early wide receiver now comes in motion on second down he'll fire he's right on target they make the tackle but he's got a fresh set of downs and it's first and goal from the seven so so close to cashing it in for this offense they'll use the running game on first and goal and a nice run there before the defense finally makes the Stop and after the really good gain on first down they'll try to finish it off on second and he's into the end zone for a touchdown got his start cutting into this lead somewhere now the question will they have enough time that's step one you got to get that first score you got to get back in the ball game and get some of that momentum back on your side you still got more work to do and step one accomplished and they did TCH on the extra point by the way knocked it right down the middle about to kick it off after punching it in for the touchdown he'll bring it out it's Anderson and the returner is brought down but there is a flag on the playing receiving the officials offer the deal and the coach accepts it they will take the penalty this offense is so deep in the hole it looks like the end Zone's at the end of the Earth the give to the back he's got a little room he'll pick up six out from the 13 I know it's sexy to throw the football but if you can pound it away and get these kind of gains they will just add up wear the defense down get first downs and ultimately get some points he's dropped behind the line of scrimmage that'll be a loss of three and sometimes for the defense it just takes one play right to create some momentum obviously this guy's been eating him up he's got over a 100 yards rushing on the day but finally David they get something positive here in the Run game defensively but you kind of know that coming in he's going to get his such a great back and he's had a great day need to put more plays together like that right now there that's the end of the quarter and Cincinnati is on top and as we switch ends of the field let's take a quick look at the national rankings not only is the scoreboard on their side but so too is time as we open the forth the Bearcats will call on their punt team they'll have to punt for the first time this afternoon and the returner will be knocked down okay so here comes the offense returning to the field now they'll try to cash in this drive first and 10 from the 50 he Wast no time and comes out throwing they're setting up the screen at the 40 there he goes and this defense is a half a beat behind they just can't quite keep up they've got it down to the want and the offensive line and the quarterback has to do their job on screens they got to sell pass down the field pass down the field offensive line releases quarterback now snaps his eyes to the running back the running back does the rest with the big boys out in front creating a pass they make the stop but not before he sets them up with a first and goal from the 10 how nice is it as a play caller when you've got a running back as good as this guy right I mean you can just dial up conservative run calls nothing has to be too tricky too fancy you just know he's going to go make good things happen and he'll take it in for a touchdown and this offense really showing their physicality running the football when it matters in the fourth quarter in crunch time to take the lead in this football game [Music] on to attempt the try on the extra point and the extra point is good and every Point counts it's now a fourpoint lead in the fourth let's go to the studio now and check in with Kevin Conor Kevin what do you got week in and week out guys you never know what's going to happen in college football check this T Lane is getting smoked today this is an eye opener it's the type of game that can just demoralize a fmat they're trailing by 14 to Tulsa we'll Circle back if anything big happens you should know about it thanks for the update on that one Kevin let us know when it goes final they bring him down and he's going to lose a yard on that one great running backs consistently make people miss and he did a really good job of breaking one t tackle but he couldn't do it to the next and to the next and the next the offensive line going to have to do a lot better job giving him some more space so he can get out in the open field and make some plays for this offense he's knocked down in the back field he'll lose a couple and the running game has gone in the wrong direction the offense tries to turn it around and go forward on third down grabbed in the back field it's Jones and he's not going to get there the defense Stands Tall and makes the Stop and the bear cat decide to punt it away this will be the second time they've had to kick it away excellent coverage that time didn't give him any room to set up the big return now this offense is back on the field they'll go to the ground shakes off the defender and a nice solid pick up there before the defense wrestles him to the ground it's a point in the game I think as a coaching staff where you really challenge your offensive line to go win the football game right we've got a lead late we're going to run the football and the defense and everybody in the stadium knows that's what's going to happen can we run the ball down their throats and impose our will that's what this offense right now is trying to do running backs are wide receivers they they do such a great job nowadays out of the back field all you got to do dump it to him get it to him quick and he'll make the rest happen with his running back skills but they do so much work with wide receivers in practice that they basically have become wide receivers now wants to throw on first down using the back as a receiver on the screen he's R out of bounds but not before turning in a big pick up and moving the sticks for a first down fresh set of downs after the completion he's looking to throw it grabbed behind the line it's Smith finds a crease at the 20 bringing the heat finally run out of bounds but he has this offense rolling with a first down this is so interesting right now watching this offense stay aggressive they've got the lead in the fourth quarter and you're thinking at home we got to just run the ball and try to bleed the clock headed to the end zone and they're in for a touchdown they're on the board again and it looks as if this winning streak is going to continue have yourself a day Young young fella you know why they handed him the ball a lot because he did that that's his fourth trip to per this dude has shown you a little bit of everything what a great back and four touchdowns on the [Music] day getting set for the point after the extra point and the extra point is up and good and they have an 11 point fourth quarter lead about to kick it away after scoring the [Applause] touchdown and they desperately wanted to attempt a return but decided not to instead they'll take the touch back the offense set for a first down [Applause] play looking to move it through the air caught over the middle it's Warrior and that was some kind of collision between a couple of big bodies there and he stopped from getting the first down this is the moment for this offense to put a drive together it doesn't matter what's happened up to the point of this game but you're trailing right now you got to put some points up on the board this is where all 11 guys need to be playing together as one and the Beats moving quickly to the line well down two possessions good news is you get the completion bad news though did not get out of bounds you know right now saving the clock that is at a premium for this offense here comes the offense on second down the aerial assault continues got it in the middle it's Anderson they make the stop trying to pick up just a little bit at a time to get to that first down marker back to pass it's sorby got his man in the middle good job running that route to get past the sticks because he got nothing after the catch they absolutely had to have that third down to keep any glimmer of hope alive and defensively that's exactly what I want make you get to third down the clock is your enemy multiple possession lead that is right where I want this offense he's looking for a man on second down grabbed on the outside it's Jones and he'll step across the sidelines after making a good gain on that one play number seven on this drive and it'll be third and two and he just flat dropped it I think he wanted to run before he secured it obviously when you're playing in weather like this the ball is very slippery and it's hard to catch the QB threw a bullet that time and his receiver just could not reel it in the give and the run on fourth down they stop him short of the marker and they'll turn it over on down so guys will get another look at this offense line gets set first down they'll run it trying to drain time off the clock now they're starting to feel it they've got a first down at the 44 it's got to be tough right now on defense you need to find a way to get a stop and you haven't been able to do that in the fourth quarter you've been given up points you just gave up a a touchdown in the last drive you need a turnover you need to do something right now to stop this [Applause] momentum now they've got it at the 44 on First and 10 might as well run him until they stop him he's got it again timeout called there by the defense desperate to get the ball back and save as much time as possible on second down let's see if they go right back to the run and put this game on Ice that's got to be demoralizing if you're the defense you're trailing you need to get the ball back you got to get off the field but you can't stop the run when they're going between the tackles this defense is going to have to get a lot more physical especially in the middle coming to the line of scrimmage on third down looking to throw for it he took a hit as he threw it and couldn't deliver the football it's incomplete and fourth Down's coming no hesitation at all the offense stays on the field they'll go for it try to get it on the ground open space of the 25 finds the finish line for the touchdown they are finishing the deal building the lead here in the fourth and they are going to go to seven and0 and how about this squad man looking good again like I feel like we say this week in and week out just continuing to remain undefeated whatever it takes offense defense special teams they have been a good unit and that's why their ranking is so high ready to try the point after and now with the extra point they're up by 18 here in the fourth a very efficient five playay scoring drive and he closed the deal by racing 35 yards [Music] P fing up to cover the kick after that touchdown Drive [Applause] on the move from inside is five and returner will be dragged down the Bearcat offense ready to go back to work the deficit is large hope is fainting but they'll try to finish strong made a lot of mistakes in this game and that's why it looks like they're going to take the L lots of things to improve on lots of things to coach upon and at this point I think if you're a head coach D but you're just trying to see which of your guys aren't quitting late in the game yeah which is a real thing by the way who's going to comp to the final whistle who what do we talk about all the time coaches are always preaching to these guys don't worry about the scoreboard just compete as hard as you can so good opportunity to try to finish this game with something positive you make up the game plan and not a lot on the play sheet for this third and long from inside their own 20 unloads to the wide out got his it's a game of first downs and they've got one out of their own 37 they'll hurry to the line with the clock still running they want to just keep throwing it grabbed over the middle it's Jones and this junior quarterback shows you why the scouts love that big arm of his to the air on first down that's reeled in it's Jones the offense calls a timeout to stop clock second and short now after that completion he's looking to throw just masterful working that sideline and getting the toe down for the catch finally some signs of life from this offense which has done nothing in the second half it's first and 10 pocket starts to collapse and the defense makes a play and they get the quarterback down at the 26 and the Bearcats want to move quickly and quickly to the line of scrimmage they spike it and stop the clock thir they're close enough for a makeable field goal from the 26 but they'd love to convert this third in Long looking to throw it's sores feet looking left fires the pass intercepted well they didn't let him get loose for a big return but he still made the big play and they'll take over at the 17 nice job by this defense that might be the exclamation point fourth quarter I gotta Le you bring on the nickel defense you offense like listen they're out of timeouts I want this clock to take now we have seen some college coaches across college football continue to run the football and also give up the football and give a gift to the other team this one's over if I just take a knee when you hit this point in the season week seven you sort of turn the corner and you remain unbeaten at this point you've morphed into a championship Contender yes but you don't want to peek too far ahead re see you kind of want to be like nothing to see here just move on uh we haven't accomplished what we wanted yet we haven't accomplished what we set out to do it's week seven I know you guys got bigger hopes and bigger dreams than just being to week seven and being undefeated and guys I've been really impressed with this team because they just seemed to always have an identity from the very beginning of the year they knew who they were they knew what they were going to go out and try to accomplish and how they wanted to dominate teams and they've been able to do that to this point so
