Why Kirby Smart and UGA have the SEC WORRIED Again!

what's up college football addicts today we are breaking down the ug schedule and I'm going to tell you how you should bet your money when you bet on their over under win totals at bet us this ug preview is presented by bet us we'll talk about them in just a moment now Georgia gets off to a great great great game in week one one that we're all looking forward to I've heard people say that this is a big advant AG for Georgia being so close to um Athens there in Atlanta Clemson South Carolina is very very close I expect that Georgia may have slightly more fans there but I think it'll be pretty close and I think this is a prove it game this is a pro it game for two reasons number one when the committee left Florida State out they said that we left Florida State out because we didn't think they were one of the best four teams without their quarterback and I think that makes sense if you didn't think Florida state was one of the best four teams then I think by your own logic you have to think about the fact that Georgia was one of the best four teams and uh you know the the snub of Florida state is very different than the snub of ug but if the logic tells you that Florida State wasn't one of the best four teams and you weren't going based on Merit you were going based on you know who uh were were the best four teams I think Georgia was still the best team in the country despite losing a game to to Alabama the week before I don't think anybody really thought that Alabama was a better team than Georgia and though they got the win in the SEC Championship I don't think anybody thinks Texas was a better team than Georgia I think that ultimately they had to put Texas in because of an earlier headhead matchup with Alabama I don't think anybody thinks Washington was a better team than Georgia and I'll tell you this Michigan versus a one loss Georgia in the national championship Georgia would have been a favorite and so I think it's a pro it game for Georgia for that reason I think it's also a provate game for Clemson it's a huge game for Clemson who finished the year with more losses last year than they've had in quite a while and Dabo understands the talking around his uh security there and Dabo understands the talking around um just the coach that he is the the unwillingness to embrace nil the portal whatever uh dbo hears all that and Clemson's still a very talented team and honestly one of the more talented teams that Georgia will play this year they're not as talented as Alabama they're not as talented as um Texas they're not as talented probably as As Old Miss uh though it's close you know Clemson Old Miss would would maybe be a good matchup um but uh Clemson's a really good team and I think that both teams will be up for this a ton that said I don't think that Clemson has the horses I don't believe in Kade kumnick I don't trust um the coordinators there at uh at Clemson to get the job done when they need to and I think that Georgia wins this thing going away in fact if you're you're finding you know Georgia minus 14 or so on BET U us I I'd probably take that now before it goes up um when we get to Labor Day weekend because I'd expect more people to jump on that train I don't think Clemson I'm not down on Clemson like where Dabo gets fired or anything this year I don't think they're going six and six I mean I could certainly see them at 10- two losing to you maybe Florida State and Georgia and winning everything else but I I I cannot see a situation where Clemson wins this game if I'm wrong on that then sue me later uh I mean you know I'm a guy that's in the ACC you know that's the The View I'm coming from and uh dbo is certainly a historic coach I don't think they can beat Georgia week one uh Tennessee Tech easy win for um the Bulldogs I I think they they picked that up with relative ease they've got starters out by halftime there at Kentucky man this game was super hyped last year as as and build is a game that was going to be a good one right both top 10 teams I think think at the time um and Georgia just absolutely dog walked them not no pun intended uh I think even though this is on the road at Kentucky um I don't really think that they have got a great chance here I I like uh the Bulldogs to win this I I don't I don't love Brock Vandergriff I don't love the the way that you know that that roster is constructed um ky's not going to be as good as they have been in the past and and I think this is an an easy win to get to three and0 Bama the next game and and again we talked about Clemson being a pro it game for the Bulldogs I I think bam certainly is as well like that's that's certainly not the only prove it game that is on the schedule I you know when I look at the Bama game I I you know I think about uh what kind of uh who is more motivated in this one I think kayin dor and and the guys that he brought over and the team that they've got is going to be extremely motivated but I think Georg is going to be a little bit more V motivated in here Kirby somehow convinces his team when they win 13 14 games a year to to think of themselves underdogs and I think he'll he'll be playing that up um I I think that they will have the sour taste in their mouth last night knowing that Bama got in and and they didn't that Bama beat them and and and they weren't able to get over the hump I think Beck is the better quarterback I I think that Georgia has absolutely reloaded and is one of the most talented teams in the country B you know Bam's up there too top five but I like Georgia to win this game they get to 4-0 with a big win um against Alabama on the road in Tuscaloosa I believe I have tickets to that game and will be up there so should be a lot of fun if you're uh going to that game hit me up let me know in the comments and and maybe we'll uh you know get hydrated together as the as the kids say so uh I think they beat Bama on the road in Tuscaloosa uh Auburn then at home Mississippi State at home I think both those are wins you know I like Auburn I think Hugh frees is going to get some stuff done there you know he's always been an elite recruiter you know practicing nilo before nil was legal uh but I think Auburn's heading in the right direction I know they played him close last year I think Georg is going to remember that and they're not going to let uh that game be very close at all um getting them the week after they play Alabama maybe that's kind of a win maybe they you know maybe they're a little banged up after beating Bama but even if they are I don't think it's enough to for Auburn to get the win and then Mississippi State you know I like leby I you know but they're just too early in that tenure for me to really predict that they can um hang around with with Georgia so at that point what six and0 um and then what I think is is one of the bigger games of the year when ug travels to Texas I want to talk to say that this is Georgia's first loss of the year they are now six- one this is a matchup that is you know very likely um you know a top 10 matchup I think Georgia's you know probably the number one team and and Texas is is top fiveish to top 10 um but I think Georgia drops this one and uh I will explain more about that Texas game in a moment but let's move on from there and then we'll Circle back to Texas so uh they go to Jacksonville they beat Florida's brains in I you know I don't know if if Billy AER will still be around by that point maybe will there's a lot of people that think that they'll be a little bit better than their over under of four and a half wins which again you can go bet at bet us right now if you think that four and a half is way too low or too high for Billy Napier in the Gators uh at Old Miss I think Old Miss is a very trendy team that's going to be very good I think this will be a top 10 matchup I think that Old Miss will have a good record going into this game um they don't play a lot of great teams early in the year I think that om Miss could have plenty of plenty of wins I just think Georgia's trenches are too good for Miss I don't I think the Grove is an okay play to play place to play I don't think it's nearly as intimidating as going to Austin or Tuscaloosa I think they get the win at Old Miss they get the win uh in their last three games too I'll take the drama out of it then we'll talk back about Texas for a minute but they beat Tennessee I think Tennessee is on the right path I think they've got the upper trajectory Tennessee couldn't win in the swamp last year and I know that it was Milton versus uh Nico but you know or you know Nico this year Milton last year but I don't think Tennessee is going to go win in Athens if I'm wrong on that we'll see but yeah I don't really foresee a situation where they could have enough talent to beat Georgia obviously get the easy win against Massachusetts and then I think Georgia Tech played them closer last year than they were expecting you know Georgia tried to give that game away and it was still never in doubt I get the win against Georgia Tech at home circling back to Texas here's what I'll tell you when it gets a game week I I I wouldn't be surprised at all if I picked Georgia to win that game uh when I look at a schedule it's hard for me to look at a schedule that's this difficult at Tuscaloosa at Texas at Old Miss three incredibly difficult games oh and by the way you've got games against Auburn Kentucky Tennessee in there as well and a neutral side against Clemson it's tough for me to look at that schedule one of the toughest schedules that georg's had in I can't even remember they've been getting to beat up on the SEC East this year or I'm sorry every year and uh they don't have that luxury this year so it's tough for me to look at a schedule like that and think that they won't slip up somewhere and I'm not telling you that Texas is an automatic loss or definitely a loss or you know Georgia has no chance it would not surprise me at all if Georgia wins that game it wouldn't surprise me if George is a favorite in that game and again when we get to gameweek I may pick this differently but I Tred to look at where I think the most likely slip up would come and I think it most likely comes at Texas I don't think omiz has enough in the trenches I don't think Clemson has enough Talent at quarterback or skill position to be really close I think that Georgia will be absolutely locked in laser focused on Alabama and so I'm giving them the loss at Texas just because I think that's like the most likely of all of the games that they could lose it wouldn't surprise me at all if they beat Texas and you know and maybe they drop another one somewhere else to om miss or or you know Bama or something like that but I don't really see this team going 12-0 um I don't certainly don't think they go 10 and to so I like the over on their win total um I think they get at least get 11 regular season wins don't be surprised if they get all 12 of them but uh yeah if I if I've got to pick a loss somewhere because I don't want to pick very many 12- O's or 13- 0's um I guess I'm going to pick the loss at Texas going to Austin certainly tougher than um going to The Grove or or some of these other places and again I just think they'll be so locked in on Bama that I'm really not worried about them losing that one one conference loss puts them in the SEC Championship maybe it's a rematch with uh Texas maybe it's a rematch with ol Miss maybe they get to see Missouri in the SEC Championship or an unexpected team an Oklahoma or something that maybe surprises folks or LSU I I'm not 100% sure I think LSU's you know SEC schedule is a little bit favorable um if they can kind of manage with a new quarterback so maybe we'd see a match up that we saw a couple of years ago but didn't see this year either way I think Georg is in the SEC Championship I I'll tell you this I don't even care who the opponent is I don't think Kirby is losing back-to-back SEC championships I think Georgia is your SEC Champion 12-1 they're either the one or two seed in the playoffs I think you know I'd be pretty shocked if uh your ACC champion and your big 12 Champion weren't third and fourth and then your group of five being much lower down so yeah I think you know if Oregon or Ohio State runs the table you know one of those two teams will be you know one or two and then the winner of the SEC will be the other spot so Georgia gets the first round by they're in the playoffs they're 12-1 don't kill me for saying they lose one game and I'm not even confident in that one I'm really just trying to not pick them to go 13-0 um but if I tell you right now Georgia fans that you're losing one game on the road um and you're winning everything else and you're going to the playoff with a first- round buy I think you'll live right I understand you
