hi it's miton pigdogs docomo State College football matchup week zero on Saturday August 24th 2024 if you like all the free picks we do at piic dogs you'll love our premium picks our Best Bets go to pic dogs.com click on the premium picks tab of course I also have a link directly below this video in the description make it nice and easy for you if you're looking for VIP coner style service we offer that as well you just got to text the number you see on the screen that's reserved for people that make very large bets that's You by all means text the number if it's not our regular premium picks that's our most popular I bet mine every day but let's get to this one Hawaii taking on Delaware State and uh you know really not a lot to be said about this game I could sit here and you know we I could ramble off stats and you know things I've read about you know these teams and what's up and coming and all that stuff is you know generally week one and week zero and all that stuff generally it's all about but this one actually takes it to a whole new level as Delaware State missed their bus you know and missed their plane out to Hawaii so they were delayed and all that stuff but to be honest I don't even think that matters anyway Delaware state is a team that went one in 10 last season has very very little um in the tank Haw why a program that traditionally has been a bowl team but you know certainly looking to improve under Timmy Chang who's take who took over the head coach job a few years ago and of course was a legend at Hawaii at quarterback and the thing is is that you know Hawaii has had problems on the defensive side of the ball in recent years but they've brought in Dennis Thurman to coach the defense and while longterm I'm not so sure if Thurman's going to be as successful and I mean long term over the course of this season whether he's going to be successful I do believe long long term he's going to be very successful might even be an N might even be a college or NFL head coach or NL defensive coordinator at some point within his career and he has been an NFL defensive coordinator you know under Rex Ryan who's one of the great defensive mind you know in in the game comes from a defensive family is bother buddy Ryan one of the greatest defensive guys there is but Dennis Thurman has a tall order here at Hawaii number one Hawaii really tough place to recruit because they really don't give them the recruiting budget to go out ofate to get guys and then you know getting the guys to come to Hawaii and then you know the whole idea of playing in Hawaii and the logistics of of of playing these other games you know the whole idea of week zero was for teams that travel to Hawaii or play Hawaii over the course of the Season including Hawaii to play in 13th game because of the all those travel differentials Hawaii only playing 12 this year even though they're playing in week zero and of course they're playing against an FCS team that only had one win a year ago this is this is a good scrimmage for Hawaii this is a good chance to have a nice feel-good game the the people of Hawaii love their bows they they love their team and I do believe and they love Timmy Chang and I believe that in this particular game this is basically going to be a Hawaii showcase kind of game a chance for their defense to really you know dig into the system see what it looks like against guys in other uniforms while at the same time the offense which returns a veteran QB a chance to run through things you'll will rarely hear me say these words I'm going to lay 40 and a half points or wherever the spread may be but north of uh six touchdowns with Hawaii and that's going to be my free pick of course while you're doing your picks putting your bets in be sure to use our free betting tools at sportschatplace.com 100% free and they'll help put you on the most favorable bets on the board today
