Cam scare saquan Barkley seemed to hurt his lower back area and practice on Tuesday he was getting attention from trainers on the sideline and didn't return to practice but remained on the sideline it seemed to be more precautionary the fact that he didn't come back into team drills was worrisome but because he was on the sideline because he stayed after and signed autograph for fans lets me know it's more precautionary we got to get into the season as healthy as possible we're talking 17 days until we take on the Green Bay Packers in Brazil now let's Other Injury updates take a look at the people who didn't practice today wide receiver Johnny Wilson and John rolls did not practice due to a concussion Tyler Steen still battling that ankle Matt Hennessy a back Kaden Stern a knee and I believe tight end Albert O A adaman the good news is is Makai Beck in his back coming off a right leg injury starting Right Guard McKai beckon was eased back in today as the first team Right Guard with Brett Toth and Nick Gates filling in at times I think it's real important that Makai beckon and some of the main offensive linemen are back and ready to go it was reported that the Eagles pass rush has Eagles Pass Rush getting Better!! been way better over the last week of Camp what's encouraging is it isn't just one player Jaylen Carter Bryce Huff Jordan Davis Brandon Graham the linebackers the pressure has been coming from everywhere now is that good job pass rush or bad job offensive line As We Know Lane has missed the day Beck has missed some time Steen has mixed some time we seen some mixed match offensive lines I just want to know how good is this Eagles pass rush I believe in what is being built under fangio as it pertains to the pass rush because I do see him being exotic with his linebackers Blitz in the slot corner like he did quinan Mitchell went on a blitz in preseason game number one we see Nolan lined up as an off ball linebacker and then Blitz so I think with the unique skill set these guys have and the rotation plus fio being the guy sending these dudes I'm excited for week one against the Green Bay Packers where Jordan love is a mobile quarterback and can tear you up in the back end so it's a really really good test for the Eagles come week one especially on a defensive side of the ball as for the rookie quinan Mitchell Quinyon Mitchell Starting Outside and Inside! not only is he getting more comfortable in this fangio defense whether he's playing inside or outside his personality is starting to show he's starting to love these guys you see him having fun and more importantly making plays Mitchell got first team reps outside in base defense and bumped inside to the slot when Isaiah Rogers came onto the field in nickel defense that means in the base 43 defense three linebackers two corners it was quinan and slay when the Eagles are trying to stop the run but still got to understand that a team can pass the ball when they went to their nickel package all they do is remove one linebacker Isaiah Rogers gets onto the field but he goes to the outside cornerback two position as quinan Mitchell slides inside so who knows if we'll see quinan Mitchell during the regular season playing the majority of his snaps in the slot but recording some outside snaps in some heavier packages plus once Cooper dein really gets back from the hamstring and starts showing the coaches stuff whether it's practice the last preseason game I don't know does quinan Mitchell's role change cuz Cooper was getting a lot of slot reps prior to the injury again would the Eagles be doing this with quinan if Cooper de never got hurt we don't know but before we get to a timic UP Next??
