BREAKING NEWS! all right so before this video begins we are getting ready to talk about James Bradberry and his injury well guess what the Eagles just put Bradberry on the IR and they promoted or Burks to the active roster I kind of like putting Burks in there I think Burks can play so I actually like that uh Burks uh is on the active roster and James Bradberry is on the IR and you know what we're going to we're going to talk about the squeezed berries because he is crushed and he is basically done as far as I'm concerned for the season let's check INTRO this video out at the time I said this is a bad Omen and guess what this sums up James Bradberry season Dallas still MAKE SURE TO SUBSCRIBE stinks wa do it k but here we got breaking news breaking news breaking but uping news I don't know if this should be a surprise or not but James Bradberry he is out the next six to eight weeks are you kidding me what will the Eagles do at safety I'm telling you uh this whole James Bradberry thing for the last year has been so annoying in so many different ways now uh let me just get JAMES BRADBERRY OUT 6-8 WEEKS right into it uh Ian ra report is reporting this pound Eagles veteran defensive back James Bradberry suffered a lower leg injury yesterday practice sources tell tomario although surgery is not required the injury involves attendant and recovery time for this injury of the Nature's approximately 6 to8 weeks so for the next 6 to8 weeks James Bradbery will not be able to play football then when he's able to come back he will have to come back and play a new position that he was still learning I think at this point in time and this is just my opinion I think it's time to just put Bradberry on IR eat it just eat it and keep them out for the year and then let him go at the end of the year there's no point by the time he comes back and he's ready to go he's it's going to be like the end of the year uh I don't know how he's really going to help us at all and you know what I had a bad feeling it was the first day of mandatory uh mini camp when bradberry's out at safety and he goes out there for like 15 minutes then all of a sudden you see him walking uh to the tent and he was done for the rest of um spring you know until training camp so I just think this whole James Bradberry is a giant headache at this point put him on IR let him just wait out the year and then he could go be a free agent somewhere else uh I don't think he's going to help you and I don't think bringing him back later the season is going to help us uh the question now is what do you do about the depth at your safety position because obviously you need you you you're losing your backup safety uh and my thing is this Sydney Brown should be getting ready to come back soon that's good news and it's time to move the flying Frenchman Cooper dein and if the French don't like him they don't want him we'll make him a tie and Cooper deino but it's time to get COOPER DEJEAN IS THE ANSWER Cooper dein at safety and let him play safety let him I I think Cooper dein looks more like a safety anyways not saying he can't play coer I think he could play every position and I think he should learn every position and I think eventually he'll be able to be moved around at every position in the secondary but I think getting him out on the field I think one way to do it quick quickly is is to start giving him reps at safety and I'm not saying only exclusive safety and I'm not saying that you're going to put him over a re blanket ship uh I think you should make him uh I think you should give him some reps let him learn how to play some some safety position and then you know he can go between safety and the slot this year uh you know and then next year maybe uh in the off season and into training camp you give him some stuff on the outside but right now get him get him in the slot and get him at safety you see I think this is what's going to happen with the jeene I think the Eagles are going to let him continue to catch up because he's behind right he's way behind everybody else because he missed so much time um I thought he played pretty good uh in that third preseason game clearly he was Rusty early on but I thought as the game went on I thought he got more and more dominant and I like I like the way he plays the run I like that he likes contact contact and one of the things that he has that I think uh you have you know some people either have it or they don't is he's got a nose for the ball he's got he's got ball some Ball Hawk in him and I think that with you know with his skill set uh get him get him on the field put him as a backup safety let him get reps there and let him get reps at the slot now like I was saying the Eagles are playing in this this is what I think they want to do uh event you know originally the plan was he was going to be the slot corner he was going to get time and he was going to eventually beat out Avante Maddox but what happened was he got hurt they stuck Quan Mitchell in the slot and he almost instantly beat out Maddox as a slot corner so I think that the Eagles still want to get quinan Mitchell on the outside uh at some point this season I believe they want him on the outside so you're going to see I think Cooper Dee as he gets acclimated as he gets you know gets his feet back as he catches up you know talking four six seven weeks into the season maybe eight I think eventually you're going to see him become the backup uh slot Corner uh in front of Maddox on the depth chart and then they're going to want to put quinon Mitchell on the outside at some point and they are going to and when they put him on the outside I think they're going to give uh Cooper dein that slot Corner position but if they don't want to do that then one of the things that they need to do is they need to give him reps at safety let him play some safety let him play some Corner because what you got with Bradberry right now I'm sorry you're getting nothing for him you can't trade him right trading him is out the window now nobody's going to want him by the time he comes back nobody's going to take a chance on him so you can't trade him you can't play him and then when he comes back uh where are you going to put him I I think you just put him on IR hopefully Sydney br will be back soon enough that will be huge for us right getting him back now the thing with Sydney brown people have to remember uh you have to be patient with him because cydney Brown is going to take time to get under his feet under him usually coming back from that injury takes a full year it takes a full year so I'm not putting too much on on on on Sydney Brown now I like uh Tristan macallum I I think he's good and of course Lon Maddox can play safety too if you need him to and that's probably what the Eagles are thinking we'll just slip avonte Maddox into that safety position because quinan Mitchell's already a starter so he'll be the backup safety to cover Bradberry but I don't personally like vonte Ma's safety I think he's specifically a slot corner and that's where he needs a play I don't like him at the safety position but Cooper dein I think he's a natural ball HW and I think even if you just watch that one preseason game you could tell he has safety in him man he he's a he he he can play safety I think he could play every position but I think safety will come natural for him and easy so that's what the Eagles are going to have to do there's things that they have to fix on this roster before the season starts obviously we're all still worrying about the pass rush and the defense uh what I'm seeing in this Green Bay game is is first of all I hate I hate the spot we're in I I absolutely hate it you're going to go to Brazil for a home game a home opener on a Friday all right they they asked Devonte Smith DEVONTA SMITH'S BEST "NO COMMENT" um today about what his thoughts uh were going to Brazil uh for the home opener week one and he's like no comment no comment because it's a disadvantage for the Eagles if you're the Packers you're going all right well we got to go play the Eagles but we don't have to play in Philly we get to play him in a neutral location that's a that's a advantage in Green Bay's eyes it has to be and if this game is as big as I think it is it could it could be a tiebreaking game uh by the time the playoffs come EAGLES ARE AT A DISADVANTAGE can you imagine a situation where you have to go to Green Bay now because you guys were tied let's say you're both 13 you know 13 and four something like that and you both have you have to go to Green Bay because they beat you in Brazil because you weren't home or something like that I I I think it sucks I don't think the league should ever put a game this big cuz this is a big game this is about in my opinion as big as a early season game can get because it has all sorts of tiebreaking implications it just does and I like to think ahead I think about what could happen in all the different scenarios the Eagles got to win this game and I got to tell you I had a weird dream last like a weird dream I dreamt that I was at the beach I was at the beach in some like little apartment it was real small and it was like how is this a beach house but I was there and the Eagles were playing Green Bay it was the start of the season and and the Eagles were trailing seven nothing 7 nothing with three minutes left in the fourth quarter they had just gone down and they had just scored uh the Eagles just scored a touchdown to tie it up so it was 77 it was going to go to overtime 7 to7 week one okay and and so I was trying to make my my kids wanted sandwiches they were trying to knock me out so I had to make them sandwiches and then the dream ended but it was weird it was a weird dream man I I just feel uneasy about this game in Brazil I don't like it I still think the Eagles are going to win I'm still picking them but I I got I just don't like it so um the Eagles this is a big game this is a big game and now Bradberry is going to be out you you you got to get that secondary you got to get that defense ready to go I think Cooper Dee uh getting reps of safety is not a bad thing he's not going to replace Reed blanket ship and he's not going to replace uh CJ Garner he's just going to back him up just provide a little depth uh because Bradberry isn't going to give us anything this year just my opinion with that said take care we'll talk to us later of course don't be a ding back remember
