issues with Nick serani PROBLEMS WITH NICK? all right the way I see it Nick serani the head coach did not play his players in preseason at all did not play him in preseason well guess what it came back and haunt you it haunted the Eagles early in the first quarter because they came out and they were Rusty and they look like they hadn't played all year that's what they look like and shout out to the defense because this is what surprised the hell out of me the defense all the criticism we've given the defense and worries they go out there and they keep us in the game they kept us in the game all right all of a sudden they get two two possessions like in our Red Zone after turnovers and what does the defense do they hold them to three points each time that was huge to me that changed the whole game in the NFL I always say this you only get so many chances uh you know in other teams Red Zone if you don't score touchdowns it SHOUT OUT TO THE DEFENSE comes back and haunts you and it did tonight but shout out to the defense I thought they were I thought they were better than I thought they were going to be are they perfect no do we still have issues uh possibly at pass rush yes uh is the reason why they didn't get sacks CU of the field perhaps we'll find out but overall I think the def did about a good of a job as anybody could ask him to do yeah that was a fun stream man we had we had 3,000 people consistently in that stream from the end of the first quarter MOST CENSORED AND MOST THROTTLED all the way through the game it was great and you know what happened Philly 500 got throttled he got I got throttled I mean on my ass there was one point in live views where it said I gained 2,000 views okay with 3,000 over 3,000 people in the Stream at the same time for a complete full hour yet they only counted 2,000 views what happened to the other thousand they love the throttle me I don't know maybe it's not the throttle me I'm thinking maybe maybe maybe streamyard doesn't count views right maybe I need to change the streaming thing that's what I'm probably going to do change the stream maybe I'll do OBS and see if it works better anyways nobody cares about that I'm just my head's all over the place it was a game it was one of them games but man I thought the defense kept you in early I BLAME NICK SIRIANI thought the offense struggled and I blame Nick serani for it no is jayen should have thrown that first interception no should the cam Jer snap that ball what he did probably not know but listen that that stuff was because you didn't play together you haven't taking a lot of snaps together and I I really blame serani and his approach to preseason for that but the defense stood tall and they kept us in the game and then we got going and when we got going well I should say this when saquon Barkley got going we got going and saquan Barkley was masterful Squan Barkley was everything I said he would SAQUON BARKLEY WAS THAT GOOD be I said it he's going to be what Christian mcaffrey is to the ners and he was that in then some not even close not even close saquon Barkley is a monster he's a stud and let let me tell you especially early in the year while you you fake your hand off Barkley keep it you go lose two yards second play you throw a pass to Devonte Smith at the sideline which should have been a pick six but the guy dropped it and then you come right back and then you throw the interception in the end zone like I I wonder if the Eagles are getting plays from last year and things from last year that serani wants Incorporated in that offense and they're putting it in there because at times it looked like your offense last year and other times it looked like a completely new offense so they're going to have to make adjustments and they will and and I'm not sweating her throwing that interception the end zone I'm not sweating that he that you know he was Rusty and that they turn over I expect him to get better um that's why I always been saying all along you got to use saquon Barkley early in the year use Barkley early in the year used Barkley earli in the year and then guess what then when your offense gets going and and you're kind of getting used to the new coordinator and everything you're doing then boom you can unleash more of a passing attack shout out to AJ Brown absolutely fantastic as always and then won Devonte Smith I don't know about you guys I don't know about you but Devonte Smith to me looked like Devonte Smith to me looked like he's faster than he was a year ago like he looked way quicker and points 34 could have easily been 40 points um so they're only going to get better now the defense in the next game versus uh I I keep wanting to say Minnesota could kurk cousins but next game against Atlanta I want to see Huff get home I want to see noan Smith get home now I will say this there was a play the play that the the the the Green Bay Packers scored that big touchdown on if you look Huff falls down and when Huff slides and falls down that allowed Jordan love to step up in the pocket and then make the throw down field if he doesn't fall down I don't think Jordan love makes that throw I don't think he's able to step up there so we'll see we'll see that the pass rush will be talked about a lot scrutinized but we got to give him time I think and I've said this before with this with this offense they should score 30 points a game they got a lot of rust knocked off they'll be better next week uh with the defense defense needs four five six weeks we got to be patient they're going to people are going to score on us people are going to move the ball on us but we're going to be opportunistic and uh with the offense we should win games but by the end of the year your defense will start playing much much better and that happens the Eagles are going to be great I expect I don't we got Atlanta win then we got New Orleans win and then Tampa win so we should start off 40 before we go on by week and we got a little bit of rest now because we don't have to play till Monday night not this Monday night week two Monday day we'll be streaming Dallas we'll be laughing at them and and that's real that's and as I said it we start floating up and I'm like freaking out and I'm like ah and then we start going through the roof and I wake up and I feel like I'm falling and I I can't breathe and it was crazy crazy ass dream and it's bothered me all day cuz it felt really really real I don't know what it was but it was crazy I thought Jordan Davis was good too there were times he was really good times I thought Jaylen Carter too but do the defens of front I think the interior did play pretty well there there was some passes that Jordan missed on drops but some of those if you look at it it's because they were getting pressure up the middle they didn't get the quarterback but they got enough of a push to interfere with the play and that's big I expect Carter to have a huge year huge year at the end of the day though listen you're one and0 was it perfect no uh am I worried about Jaylen Herz no am I worried about this offense no am I worried about the defense only only the edge rushers I need them to step up up I'm hoping and I'm assuming that it was the field but we'll see but either way the Eagles are one and0 they beat Green Bay they now hold a tiebreaker on the Packers and that could be huge that could be Monumental for the Eagles come playoff time it could be a tiebreaker could depend whether you go to Green Bay or you play in Philly in Philly this time at get one now I don't want one after watch the show but there's one dude he's like talking about how nice and stuff they are and he's got no nose he what chimp his nose off and they had to like sew it
