INTRO there is only one way to describe AJ Brown this training camp and it's simply unguardable Dallas still stinks yo by the way K dig back here so MAKE SURE TO SUBSCRIBE day 15 of training camp just got over and there are some things that are becoming evident for this Eagles team one AJ Brown is unguardable Devonte Smith may just be almost as unguardable and my man CJ Garner Johnson was delivering the boom today all right he was hitting all over the place and this Eagles team is getting better and better every single day now I got to say this we did have an injury scare today um I was streaming live uh early in practice but I to leave early to take my kids to school so I apologize uh for having to leave early I tried to come back and stream the rest of practice but it was just ending and one of the things that happened that I almost had a heart attack driving uh my kids to school when SAQUON BARKLEY INJURY SCARE I saw this but Brandon Lee gon wrote this saquan Barkley is on the ground getting stretched out by a trainer during Eagle special teams drills they're also rubbing his lower back so when I first read that that Barkley on the ground I was like like my heart dropped like I almost had a heart attack like like seriously like I got to take aspirins after that uh you got to write that a different way so you don't don't scare me to death all right but Barkley was down Barkley you know maybe tightness in his lower back you know maybe sore whatever uh it seemed like from everything we're hearing that it was really more precautionary than anything else um they were stretching him out rubbing his back down all that kind of stuff um I think Barkley is going to be fine I can't tell you how valuable saquan Barkley is to this team but I wanted to put that out there first and foremost because that scared I'm sure a lot more people than just me um Jeff mlan wrote this for today's injury INJURY REPORT report heading into practice following pound Eagles are back at practice missing time due to injury uh defensive tackle Gabe Hall hamstring EJ J knee Lane Johnson Joe Nagata and Moro ojomo so they were all back from from being out of the last practice or hurt uh the following uh have been upgraded from limited to full practice linebacker Orin Burks tight end gr Grant calcatera DB Cooper dein uh and CJ gner Johnson and let me tell you CJ gner Johnson was not playing today was was not playing uh they said he was hitting everybody at one point he he just buried Grant calcatera but you got to be careful CJ this guy's always hurt all the time anyways but he he hit him knocked him into next week also to uh hit Devonte Smith into next week and then he was talking a lot of crap CJ gner Johnson being back is so important for this Eagles team there's just no question about it none that's the way it is and here's an interesting thing on defense uh on the base defense they for the first time they had quinan Mitchell line QUINYON MITCHELL STARTING up uh on the outside with the starters could this be the move that the Eagles are getting ready to make now to put quinan Mitchell as a starter on the outside uh I don't know I mean we're going to have to find out but uh quinan Mitchell goes up against Devonte Smith Quan Mitchell goes up against AJ Brown I mean do you realize this guy's going up against two of the best wide receivers every day at practice every day when he gets into games it's going to be like I gotta play this guy this is the Cowboys receivers this is what the Giants are throwing at us ain't going to be a problem uh Quon Mitchell is going against the best everyday practice only going to make everything else easier for SMITH VS MITCHELL EPIC BATTLE him um there was a whole set of him and Devonte going at it U Martin Frank wrote this Quinton versus Devonte 101 is musi first time Q holds him off with great coverage and Devonte says to him quote good play Q second time Devonte makes a move catches the ball outside and Q says that's a route um then of course AJ Brown who's Unstoppable unguardable makes a behind the back twisting one hand catch versus slle uh that's what AJ Brown does okay um AJ Brown had a big day a big big day um Jaylen Herz with a really nice long completion to AJ bound perfectly thrown now there was one play where he makes a great catch uh of A.J. BROWN IS UNGUARDABLE course quinan Mitchell was covering him but it was a perfectly thrown ball perfectly caught uh Martin Frank wrote this AJ catches a beautifully thrown deep ball from Herz over quinan Mitchell again good coverage but AJ Brown is really good AJ Brown is really that good we all know that that's that's just the way it is uh jayen Herz deep ball to AJ Brown beats quinan Mitchell good coverage but just a better throw AJ then punted the ball celebration and it went like five yards well whatever you know what whatever but AJ Brown he's been very unguardable uh the whole camp and and I I expect him to have a big year one of the interesting things you know with more is going to be how they move these guys around I think you'll see AJ Brown the slot times you you're definitely going to see Devonte Smith in the slot times and uh I expect big years from both these guys Devonte Smith he caught a 30-yard uh pass from AJ Brown he had a really good day today too the offense was much better today of course jayen Herz was on point um and even even though the offense was really really good today apparently the defensive line was really really good as well uh and they had a pretty good day themselves Brandon Graham had a sack on jayen Herz DEFENSIVE LINE PLAYED GOOD Elliot Shore Park said def line plenty of pressure on jayen Herz today in 111s Carter made a few nice plays Jordan Davis got uh in the backfield a couple times those guys made some good plays there was even Nolan Smith on coverage um and of course they were talking about NL Smith on coverage on CJ USA whatever that tight end is but guess what Kenny pick it over through it he overthrew it because he stinks so I don't it's just like dude just Kenny pick it down I want I I get aggravated I don't want to start getting aggravated it's too early it's too early in the morning it's too early in the morning but AJ Brown Devonte Smith quinan Mitchell big days big days for those guys and like I said I I expect quinan Mitchell to have a big year and here's the thing I really wonder the fact um that they put him as with the starting uh with was starting opposite slate on that base defense I wonder if this is the moment we're going to see the move to put quinan on the outside and if you start quinan Mitchell on the outside what what does that mean for Z Rogers how are you going to go about that you going to put Devonte Maddox in the slot is that going to be the plan uh it's going to be interesting to see uh no doubt about it you you've got a lot of good competition Devonte Smith had a a 30- yard pass like I said it was a 30-yard uh pass which was in the back of the end zone he caught K Kylie Ringo was on him for that uh it seems like these guys are are covering pretty well but man you just got you just got exceptionally great receivers EAGLES OFFENSE IS SO TALENTED in Devonte Smith and AJ Brown and then when you bring saquon Barkley hopefully he'll be healthy I think like I said that was just precautionary uh you this offense is going to be it's going to be awesome uh I will say this uh Trevor Keegan at one time uh one point limped off the field uh Chris Franklin wrote TREVOR KEEGAN BANGED UP this guard Trevor Keegan just limped off the field he being looked at by the trainers and Brandon Lee gon also wrote uh Trevor Keegan is hurt limping off the field with some Trainers for whatever reason and and I should say this beckon was back today at practice um so that that's a good thing okay but whatever reason these offensive linemen keep getting banged up like like you know thank God it's nothing too serious but it's like it's like they keep getting banged up you you got you got Steen is still you got beckton who was just hurt now you got Keegan who who who was limping you had Landon Dickerson earlier in Camp um it's it's crazy the amount o of these guys that are just getting banged up and you know maybe that's maybe that's why Eagles don't want to play these starters you know they don't want these guys getting hurt but I think you got to play them nonetheless and and they're not going to play them in in uh there there's no way in hell that they're going to play these guys during uh this last season game it it's not going to happen one guy though I think that will play a lot is I think I think you're going to see cooper dein cooper dein should play the the entire game the entire game he should be on the field uh that's just the truth he needs to play this whole game because he's behind all right um however uh when you look at today's practice the offense you know who who didn't really have a good day to last time out and it was really the first time they didn't have a good day the the you know the whole training camp uh they bounced back today jayen Herz was on fire what are you doing Kitty come here come here so um yeah the offense bounced back Jaylen Herz he he was on the money today uh AJ Brown unguardable Devonte Smith Unstoppable and uh it's great to see like I said quinan Mitchell getting work against those guys because even if he gets beat he's in good coverage he plays a good there's a lot to learn here a lot to learn here so the Eagles have two more practices left of training camp uh because they got the final preseason game then we got to get down to the 53 man roster uh I will be streaming tomorrow I have to take my kids to school again early I don't know what I'm going to do maybe maybe I'll get somebody maybe I can maybe I can get somebody to cover like the 25 minutes I have to go and and do like um maybe I have to get somebody 25 minutes to come on and cover me while I take my kids to school so that way I could come back and we could finish up practice although by the time I got home it was pretty much wrapped up so we'll see but uh big day for the offense big day for the stars and a big day for quinan Mitchell because quinan Mitchell to me is showing that he needs a play right away he doesn't throw an interception in the last days of practice tomorrow he will officially pitch the perfect training camp what what else can you say about Jaylen Herz he's been spectacular Denzel
