did we just film the largest room on the VY [Music] Odyssey hey friends I'm Steve and I'm Angela and we are midlife cruising okay we always laugh at the beginning because we have to do this so many times because he cracks me up every time he says midlife cruising so sorry about it that's why we're always laughing so we had the privilege of filming the largest suet room if you will today on the Villa V Odyssey and we are so excited to share that with you so we are going to introduce you to our good friends Melody and John they are the sweetest people ever they happen to be from Florida so we have some connections there and they bought not one not two but three rooms on the Villa V knocked down walls and had a 3mon construction project and boy am I excited to show this room to you it's so amazing it's going to be its own video all by itself so the last 24 hours we've gotten our 15 minutes of fame uh everyone from Business Insider BBC BBC Northern Ireland BBC Radio International um USA Today it's we've had a flurry of contacts and interviews both live radio television um it's been wild and it was fun you know when the news is hot it's hot so we were happy to you know share our experience and our thoughts so far along the Villa V so you may have come across an article or two so it's been crazy yes yes so um we did also film um in the last couple days we filmed some things that you requested someone asked could you film a handicap accessible room so we found one of those and filmed it for you um we have filmed a regular balcony room we filmed a balcony Suite a junior suite balcony room so we've been around knocking on neighbors doors saying hey friend can we film and everybody's been so gracious and kind and we're trying to ask them more questions so you can get get to know them so we're trying to get better at that so many of you giving have given us suggestions and tips what to do when we're doing these interviews so thank you for that we appreciate it um and we're about to show you the most amazing ever room v v crib here so before we begin our tour tell me maybe a little bit about your background maybe where you're from okay you want to start we're originally from Florida Palm Beach area we retired about 3 and 1/2 years ago and we were rving and uh John got tired of driving and decided instead of cruising the states let's cruise the world great idea the last couple of years we've been cruising on commercial cruise ships and this waiting for V for vill this came up you know Villa and were're like perfect so we bought three cabins and decided to make it into one well so I can't wait to show you yes I'm super excited so which way do you think we should head first well the living room well the living room I guess with our firl and tell us as we do I'm going to is this the separation from one of the other rooms this one metal wall yes okay so I'm going to so this is one cabin actually that was that was here so talking about a vvr crib look at this folks I know where I'm going to be hanging out wow this is amazing amazing and over here this is this is not a kitchen this is a wet bar ah wow yeah there's no microwave or oven no cooking facilities just wine refrigerator it's the important things right yes and so we have things set up so we're ready for happy hour wow I don't know if I'll ever see Steve again during a happy hour I'll know where he so this he's got bourbon Buffalo trays this was the middle cabin and over to the right over there is the third cabin which is now our master bedroom look at this it's a full size fridge we have 37t Bel 37t because we have have a combo here so man we have so many places we could be hanging out and there's the bridge over there the bridge you can peek around and talk to the captain yes wow lovely lovely for the next room this our Master put this doorway this was the third into the master that is just stunning over here's the walkin closet okay now I'm really jealous look at this we're still putting things away but we're getting there and the master bath follow me this is the master bath go right in okay so I'm a blue girl and this tile is all just what my dreams are made of look how beautiful that tile is two bathrooms made into one brilliant I love it his and her showers mine's on the left and John's is on the right shower oh that is awesome h two for one yes I love it love it double sink my makeup area as well the mer the blue is doing it for me oh this is so great my clock is this amazing or what oh and go ahead and tell us about this well my made name is Thor so Melody Thor Hennessy now and so the Viking God the God of Thunder that's me I love it I love it how cozy this is amazing comfortable couch recliners so if I don't see you on Cay I know why and we have our office set up over here his and hers with our printer this will be where you'll be planning your next Excursion in the next Port exactly and this is our oh my word look it's a Roomba it's one of our favorite inventions ever and this is our second bedroom what what so we have lots of space lots of closet space lots of hats as you can see but then this the Murphy oh it's the Murphy someone asked about the Murphy bed and I said I would be sure to get the Murphy bed here is so you can have the space when not in use but if you have a visitor you can pull it down and there you go oh my goodness am I leaning against another bathroom you are wait a minute and it's a beautiful blue tile again oh I love it I see your mermaid shower curtain this is unbelievable and the toilet it's a Toto and what's a Toto a a day oh they even have a b day you're most excited to go see or visit or maybe a repeat well my my bucket list well Amazon is a big one on the bucket list but galopagos you know we're looking forward to looking spending some time in some Coral atle in the South Pacific looking forward to the carnival in real oh yeah yes yeah we have 5 days scheduled for there which is crazy so we're [Music] excited we have surround sound you want to kick back yes in the recliner this is luxury so if Steve ever makes me mad I'm going to be hanging out right right here she is going to be hanging in that window there beautiful it's our stained glass mermaid from Santorini we when you put it in the light that's gorgeous how she yes and you plan on being here for the full duration right we do and then some yes even longer we have more ships that are going to be head into the fleet right right that's amazing well we truly appreciate it this is so un un believable I think this is going be soon we have a tentative day coming up but you know we're almost afraid to say it cuz people are like you said and you know we're just sharing as we learn so keep in mind that we're just sharing as
