[Music] morning friends I'm Steve and I'm Angela and we are midlife cruising we are coming to you live from our hotel room here in beautiful overcast Belfast yes we are filming from our hotel in Belfast the one that vvr is covering you keep asking um have you ever seen MTV Cribs this is a little throwback to those days where MTV would film different stars homes where a lot of you have asked uh can we see rooms after they're set up and organized and you know everything squared away so you asked we are answering welcome to episode one of vvr ch ribs hey friends we're going to tour a room of our friend that's already set up and ready to go welcome to today's episode of vvr cribs hi hi Angela how are you what you doing we want to come see your lovely room oh okay thankfully I made the bed today so this is is our friend Sher probably seen her in some previous videos and she was generous enough to let us uh see her room so thank you thank you so much and before we start can you tell everybody where you're from I am from Phoenix Arizona born and raised there but lived in a lot of other places and uh was back there right before joining bvr all right sounds good you ready that's good all right all right come on in okay and I'll let you go in am that box so this is an ocean view and it's it's considered an obstructed view because as you can see I've got a Lifeboat out there but plenty of light still comes in and gosh I can still see water you know and so um enjoying having um a window with natural light coming in for sure nice it is and this bed looks pretty big is it a like extended Queen it's the two twins pushed together on a bed frame so it creates um essentially a king a king-sized bed here and um as a Solo Traveler and I'm a tall person I really didn't want to sleep in a twin bed so I've I'm going to start with this configuration see how it works the good thing is if I don't like it after a while or I decide I want more floor space all I have to do is ask and they'll take one away well makes perfect sense all right so I see we've added plants you know I'm all about the plants love it love it yeah I got a little cactus in the corner there to remind me of home oh perfect and I'm still doing some decorating um when the crew is freed up they're going to take down this big print that's on the right and I've got a world map that I want to hang up oh perfect and make you know notations when we visit places and I've got some stuff in the window sill back there too I don't know if you can see that not I bought some plants and I got some little fairy lights back there oh so I think that'll be nice at night these may look familiar Somebody went to range we bought those and this we have the exact same heavy duty Hooks and someone said oh you'll never use those I'm like I already have them both full what are you talking I've already ordered more look at the little lights these are adorable yeah I just I like a little glow sometimes the the lights in the cabin might be too bright but a little bit of a glow oh is this one of those picture frames that changed it's a digital picture frame and you know pictures from my travels but pictures of family and friends that I'm going to miss while I'm on this journey and my my bar you have a mini bar you have to have that that's great well and one of the things that I have stored in here which you can't be without is a travel uh mixer and Shaker for my Martini so I have that in here and then the other thing I have for when we're around the pool for wine I it's a a cooler especially for wine so I can take wine up to the back oh she's planning own yep yes absolutely great storage looks good looks good couple drawers down there perfect perfect one of the things I like about this cabin is it has three closets oh yeah I'm jealous we have two that's great yeah got drawers in one some hanging space and um hanging space and like you you got the safe in the room and the mini fridge right and I'm going to come over here to yeah I love your chair this a perfect little area yeah and I'm using one of the night tables for a kind of a side table for when I'm sitting in here and I want to have tea or coffee or a beverage of some kind and the things you know I'm using my hooks for things I want to grab and go like my glasses and sunglasses binoculars coats hats and then all my favorite scarves and my umbrella over here so just again they're not taking up any drawer space they're kind of behind the door most of the time perfect and have you seen the foot stool that I bought for my shower no I was going to say if I could do your best absolutely cuz I've also got the magnetic shelves in here and I'm in the process of my lights's flickering the last couple days um but in the process of deciding you know what's all going to go in there versus in the little Cupboards in the closet there in the side there right and did you bring your shelves like I brought mine with me did you find them here you brought them as well I brought them with me as well you were smart like us and then baskets and bins but I'm loving that little foot stol in the shower oh it's perfect and was that more of a local um I bought that from Amazon here in the UK okay perfect I think I need to do that haven't attempted a shower here yet but I can imagine for sh shaving legs I love it well thank you so much oh air control everyone's a little different y this is just adorable so it's you know starting to feel like home it's cozy you know you finally get to that point you're like I can do this now mhm all right well we appreciate the tour and you're welcome thank you so much and Everyone likes to see them after their set up and organized and situated so yep we're gonna live with this for a while and uh make adjustments as we go that's it that's it and you know it's easy to after a while with this size space to make changes if you want to it's not like yeah absolutely enough well good are here to film Leslie's vvr crib can you tell us where you're from Leslie um I've lived in Seattle Washington for the last 17 years prior to that I'm a Colorado girl woohoo we do like Colorado our baby girls there and what made you choose V you know it's been a journey I think the best thing I haven't done a cruise since I was in college wow I was on semester at C which I loved and so when I retired I thought it would be a great way to bookend my life and and do this in travel so I did life at se first and we all know how that went but this is going way better yes indeed way better so I love to travel and who doesn't want to see the world and I want my sixth seventh continent I've got my six 45 years ago it's so crazy wow and the seventh one will be Antarctica wow that's amazing and what a great way it's the bookends I love it it is it's the book ends of my my um working career that's great and I do want to show this magnet we do not remember days we remember moments and oh is that true are you planning on collecting magnets on our journey I am definitely going to collect magnets love it um you know and with the delay the life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass it's learning how to dance in the rain so I thought that was really appropriate for the door all right to remind ourselves so let's check it out I love it so it looks like you've separated the beds one for a couch yep great definitely and then one for a chair perfect she has the metal shelves like we do which I still say is our favorite find repurposing one of the bed tables next to the couch and chair so look at this I love it tell me about this um my goddaughter and her husband gave it to me for Christmas and said you know it is my style number one but I'm really excited to take it to do shopping and and traveling around and it just reminds me of her I love it each fabric represents where you've been and where you're headed that's great and that's so my style too by the way a Cornelia thing she's just awesome that's great and another one of the great metal shelves yeah my gratitude Journal love it um we sure have a lot to be grateful for we do little fan here that's great and um so I brought old school I brought a DVD player with me I love it uh and a couple hundred DVDs CU I figured if we were out in the middle of somewhere and um you know the Wi-Fi wasn't working right smart and who's our friend here those are my babies um the ones on the left and right aren't with us anymore but the middle one that's juuce and he went to live with my red in Phoenix um I would have brought him but he's 18 almost 19 wow and it's just not really fair to lock him in a room but um I brought some of my crystals and I got my picture so making it feel a little like home a little bit more each day I love it yeah and as we go I'll collect art and collect magnets and you know I love all these clips up here most of those are gifts from people CU I love mermaids and I love um you know I love unicorns as you can see um great use of storage here on the back yeah and more of those handy dandy racks we all love they are quick ways to just show how everyone's doing things just a little different thank you so much you're welcome and still I I still say the metal shelves are everyone's best find they make such a difference they are they are the best ever I brought some with me and then uh Amazon is your friend that's about all I can say all right well we truly appreciate uh you letting us invade your space it looks lovely thanks and very cozy and I love the separated beds you welcome to another edition of vvr cribs this is a solo room I know a lot of youve been asking to see a completed one before I show you I want to show you this how clever not home can be flipped privacy please love it love it so this person chose to remove one bed so there's so much more room you can keep both beds push together pulled apart or just have one bed and it does really free up some space have a chair in the corner and the light the artwork in here here some people love their artwork some people don't some look great some removed them and replaced them nice scon lighting up there I'm going to go back in the corner so I'm not in the shot here's how much space so she had this lovely Cabinetry added bought it here locally in Bell fast had it assembled so it added tons of storage space and I love the world map we're going to definitely be able to get some use out of that remember the TV swivels so it can be turned all the way face the bed TV or the chair and then here is the desk area nice mirror so very lovely I always always love the plants but this is an interior room with one bed and one removed and it really is there's just plenty of room a lot of people are like how do you do that in such a small space remember this is just like a bedroom the ships are home you should see our backyard I hope you enjoyed the this edition of vvr [Music] cribs okay guys I am in an ocean view and this one is mid ship and if you know anything about the former braimer they did an extension in the center as in they cut the ship inserted a new section so these rooms are a little different and of course more updated so I just wanted to do a real quick show so if you happen to have the style of room here it is this one looks like a way almost like a king it seems pretty darn big Ocean View Night Lights end tables the walls very clean off white maybe nice 43 in TV brand new chair right below this TV can swivel the difference of the extension is everything's just a little bit newer the walls are newer the ceiling's newer it's a little fresher and this is the desk area similar um to the other rooms I filmed just newer more updated you'll see what the ship provides an Illy coffee p pad machine not coffee Pod coffee pads with cups um we just remove the cups and just have two of our own and we put ours on the Shelf the extensions the rooms the lights and the plugs are just a little different you have two down here which we don't have down there those look European and I'm guessing that's the speaker system cuz I didn't put it in the ceiling like we have and over here I see one European the phone um so you have a plug there and two on the floor I see three drawers this Wood's a little bit nicer newer I should say hair dryer that comes with you just need a standard hair dryer that's decent enough I brought my own I have way too much hair for that now this one has three closets very nice we have two open these up automatic lights come on which is lovely life vest storage you see a rod automatic lights refrigerator and there's a third one down here oh this is lovely this one has the safe and drawers jealous 1 2 3 4 5 6 we do not have these drawers so let me open a closet so that can open so that's really nice touch I would like this in M please thank you very much six drawers lots of cabinet space it seems small but I have 55 active hangers in my one closet thus far again again that bed is way bigger than what I think I've seen in the other room so some people are doing the l-shape a lot of the solos have one removed which allows for way more room TV the chair and then here's the restroom this room is um not yet occupied someone has purchased it there's no they're coming on later the rooms come with soap there shampoo conditioner and uh body wash grab bar and if I've said it once I'll say it again some people are like oh that's so small and my response is dude I'd sleep on the floor if it means I can travel the world just thankful to be here everything is what it is nice storage there I've been so surprised I was so nervous we're not going to have room for anything but I've even found that I have spare room and I decorated and made sure I had extra bins and they've all worked out lovely so that is the bathroom remember we're in a midship extension room where they added and extended the ship thanks so
