[Music] which rookie sleepers to choose and he went Jordan andison and the Minnesota Vikings and Donan K the tight end of the Buffalo Bills K had a kind of a slow start but then he really took on at the end of the year so I think that's a big win for Andy they're getting two can you give us two rookie sleepers to end the show here yeah if you're talking rookie sleepers guys that aren't your Marvin Harrison Jones and Malik neighbors um I so this is a guy that um he's going to dropping drafts he's not going to be valuable at the start of the year um you can probably get him I think by the time Drafts come around you're going to get him may maybe even off the waivers but he was also the first running back drafted in the NFL draft it's Jonathan Brooks uh rookie for the Carolina Panthers he had an ACL injury um in college this was known this isn't like you know something unexpected they drafted him knowing that they're going to start him slow I'll bet he starts on the pup but if you're in a league that has like an spot uh where you can take an injured player and kind of just have him on a you know on a free spot and then pick someone else up I won't leave a draft without um without Jonathan Brooks um also my my favorite wide receiver you know out outside of those big guys I don't know how sleeper he is especially in in Los Angeles but I I have questions for you guys uh following uh you know the Chargers so closely but lad makoni this dude his film is unbelievable to me I know his production wasn't great in college they just didn't need him at Georgia uh but he he profiles as like that Keenan Allen type of just crisp route Runner who's always going to be where you need him when you need him with reliable hands if you can get open and you can catch the ball when it's put on you and you've got Justin Herbert as your quarterback like he was going we have a my guys episode coming up uh later this week on our show and he was in contention for a my guy I believe in him that much but then he got injured and just and Herbert's like I can't I can't do that so what give me the Insight from boots on the ground there what should I be concerned about the injuries with with lad or or Herbert uh I mean I'll just take this one away I'm actually right here uh waiting for practice to start uh so I'll be in there that's why my my this isn't my usual setup I look like I'm in an interrogation room but yeah exactly but uh lad L lad has been the fans have coined it third and lad for these like that's how much they love like every time so Keenan Allen was a security blanket on third down for Herbert and now it seems like lad's going to be that guy for Herbert and and they really have a connection that's really unique and and Herbert moves in the pocket he turns and he finds lad there was one where they pulled the whole offense to the right side all the receivers and lad went to the left Herbert dumps it off to him went up the field like 30 yards walked into the end zone like they they they they're going to have a special connection Chase Daniel said he feels feels like former NFL quarterback he's like lad's going to be 100 a th000 guy this year 100 catches a th yards which it could uh the way they've connected I know they're both injured right now but I think uh I think lad's going to be a big part of this offense
