Chris Reed Resigns from Morningstar Ministries Rick Joyner to Take Over Again

so I have some shocking news to report today possibly the downfall of another huge Ministry another Ministry Scandal Prophet Chris Reed abruptly resigned from morning storm Ministries today and his resignation led a points to another sexual scandal in the church 2024 is turning out to be the year of exposure indeed and many prophets had alluded to this and gave indication that more scandals would be uncovered a volunteer youth leader at morning Stars Ministries has been charged with sexual crimes against several minors at the church so this will be the third high-profile sexual Scandal involving minors this year would the Lord have mercy on all of us would the Lord have mercy upon his church so we're going to take a look at Chris Reed's resignation letter which points to this sexual Scandal as well as look at the details about the sexual crimes that have been released to the media and we will also take a look at a prophecy released by Chris Reed and see if it came to pass hi my name is Joshua Simone welcome to my channel the ministry is called Tor curtain that is because when Jesus died and rose again the curtain in the Old Testament Temple was torn from top to bottom we now have a new covenant a better Covenant and direct access to a relationship with God through jesus' death and Resurrection so I want to say first off I do not go looking for these types of stories it might seem that way but I follow many Ministries because I believe in a multitude of counsil to gain wisdom so I'm always trying to glean from the larger body of Christ and see what's going on in many different Ministries I follow probably around 30 Ministries kind of closely and 5 to 10 very closely but I was a loyal follower of IHOP KC I also was a loyal follower of Gateway Church in the early days so I didn't look to try to cover stories on these things but they were just Ministries I followed well I've always paid attention to things coming at a Morning Star Ministry and have a few of Rick joiner's books and I watch Chris Reed closely because many people considered him a young prophetic gift that was emerging in the body of Christ now none of this is Gossip because I will only be addressing public information and none of this will be speculation gossip is to talk about things that haven't been confirmed at true unfortunately these details today will be true it will not be speculation but God is doing something big this year in the church he is cleansing the church and judgment must begin in the house of the Lord for he is coming back for a spotless bride and to be honest the church is nowhere near ready for the return of Jesus Christ especially the American church and he we will continue to go through things like this until the church wakes up and gets the message we must worship God in spirit and in truth we're worshiping God in spirit at the current moment but we have learned this year that much of the church and particularly some of these larger Ministries truth was not in their foundation and as it said Jesus said build your house upon the rock build your house upon the rock which is Jesus Christ his word the gospel message and then When Storms and winds and waves come you will not be shaken you will stand firm so only Ministries that are firmly grounded and rooted within Jesus Christ within spirit and truth will survive I saw a quote on Twitter that went viral last week and it said this in big bold letters God's church is not being shaken man's church is and boy that is the truth a lot of people have built Ministries around human efforts and human personalities but the truth is is God is not interested in that stuff he wants a church that is pointed towards him pointed towards the gospel message not even pointed towards signs and wonders and miracles and prophecies God wants all the glory and it's all got to point to Jesus Christ his word and the gospel message for Jesus said if I am lifted up I will draw all men unto myself but Jesus also said to Peter you on this rock I will build my church and the Gates of Hell will not Prevail against it so nothing will shake the genuine Church nothing will prevail against it it might seem like that and for those of you out there that are losing hope that are losing faith we still continue to assemble because the Bible tells us to do so and it says to do even more so even as the days get closer to the Lord's return and so we should not stop assembling we should not stop going to church we should not stop taking communion and worshiping and prayer matter of fact we should do more ever but God wants to take our faith off human leaders off human Ministries and he wants to be the leader of the church again he wants to be the one that gets all the glory he wants to be the focus not human personalities so Jesus did tell Peter the gates of hell would not Prevail against the church but also in the end times it does promise that everything that can be shaken will be shaken this is the beginning of the birth pains Hebrews 12: 26- 29 and at that time his voice shook the Earth but now he has promised yet once more I will shake not only the Earth but also the heavens this phrase yet once more indicates the the removal of things that are shaken that is things that have been made in order that things that cannot be shaken May remain therefore let us be grateful for receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken and thus let us offer to God acceptable worship with reverence and awe for our God is a consuming fire okay so I think bethl music made a song about this that everything that can be shaken will be shaken this will happen in the end times I suggest listening to Derek Prince's message on these verses and he talks about how in the end times the great shaking and what that will look like well this is part of it right now the great Falling Away apostasy in the church that is unfolding apostasy that is becoming more and more rampant I can't even keep up with all these stories to be honest to but the Earth is fading away and it's all its glory and the only thing that will Remain the only thing that we should build our foundation on is the Eternal because everything in this earth will be wrapped up like a scroll it's coming to an end get your relationship right with God get your house in order get your relationship right with him because he is coming soon he is coming again and the kingdoms of this world will be shaken the kings of this world will be totally shaken and this will happen more and more for as the end times get further and further in we are going to see a great shaken even in the church as we're seeing this year and not to mention what we're headed for this year with a big National event happening in November that sure to change act against minors as it says in his word that it would be better to tie a millstone around your neck and throw yourself into the ocean than to face god with these type of crimes on you now listen if you are involved in these crimes face the music and get right with Lord even if that means you go to jail because you do not want to face God coming to him before these things if you have to meet him face to face in these end times because you are in for a rude awakening and those of you who have abused miners get right with the Lord God can even forgive these type of crimes he can forgive any crime you might have to face consequences with the law a lot of people might be set with you but God can forgive anybody of anything but these crimes are very serious and it just so happens that three of the big Ministry scandals this year all involved minors including this one now let's get into Chris Reed's resignation letter for those of you who don't know who Chris Reed is many him consider him to be a young gifted prophet he did a video on dayar this year talking about the upcoming elections and he got 1 million views talking about what he saw God doing in the elections but Chris was tasked with taking over Morning Star Ministries which was started by Rick Joiner who has been one of the main people in the charismatic leadership movement for many years at this point so Rick so he took over the ministry for Rick and has been leading it and now I don't even know if it's a year at this point but Chris has abruptly resigned and we're going to get into his letter today and talk about it okay so Chris released this letter which is dated August 27 2004 dear Morning Star staff and employees and friends after much prayer and thought and consideration along with Missy and trusted friends I have decided to fully and immediately step down from all leadership responsibilities at Morning Star minist this includes my role as CEO president and senior pastor of the fourth Mills Church turning the ministry back over to Rick Joiner the founder of Morning Star I submitted the letter of my resignation on Monday August 26 2024 and it was gracious accepted I know this may come as a surprise and perhaps even a shock to some of you please believe me when I say this this was not an easy decision I am heartbroken and there are many reasons behind this choice but primarily after 3 years of serving here including over a year as CEO and president I have come to realize that I cannot continue in this role my Ministry calling always has been and remains to prophesy Pastor teach preach and write this is why I made the decision to fully return to what God has called me to do okay so I see this as a good a good thing sometimes we get involved in things that aren't our calling for us that don't fit us so if this is really the reason why Chris stepped down he's going to give further elaboration in a second but this would be a really good thing if Chris is leading this ministry and it's not a good fit for him and he's not able to do the things God called him to then it's time to do something else a lot of times the enemy would love to get us caught up ins something that's god's second best for us worshiping our time and wasting our time and energy on something but unless we're in the place that God wants us to be doing what he called us to be we're not going to have that fullness of joy and peace that he wants to give us so this might be a good thing if Chris is getting back to what he really wants to do but I think um the reasons are probably deeper than what he's mentioned here although that's just speculation let's get back to the article I will continue to write and build an online model of house churches led by Regional Elders based on the acts 242 model I have received from the Lord additionally I will continue to train and Lead others in an online school of the prophetic similar to what I created with the school of the prophets at some point I plan to relocate and start a new church in another part of South Carolina even though right now I have no money and will be unemployed so that is pretty bold Chris is uh stepping really taking out a step of Faith he doesn't have any money and he's going to be unemployed that takes a lot of guts to do something like that um but the truth is is I agree with him I believe where God is moving the most right now is not in established churches established 5013c organizations but house churches I had a shocking vision of the end times of being in a house Church and basically it was the end times and um I knew that America was in a very serious situation and the church had gone underground and we were meeting quietly in house churches and it shucked me to the core and so for me personally that's where I'm spending my time and effort in smaller House Church movements and stuff like that I feel like a lot of these larger churches not all of them I know some good larger churches but a lot of them become businesses and when a business is created it has to be self- sustainable they have to keep doing things in order to sustain the ministry to keep it going it becomes a business it becomes putting the ministry before people not all the time so we don't want to say every large church is like that I know some really good larger churches that are run well I'm just saying for me I feel more called to the house Church movement and it's peaceful to see that Chris is moving in that direction as well moving towards the acts 242 model model and then he's going to continue doing a school of the prophetic so let's get here it's going to Chris is going to talk about the sexual Scandal part that we're going to get into right now so as many of you are aware in the late spring of 20203 allegation surfaced against the former volunteer and police officer these crimes took place before I took over we immediately told the police and this was reported in the news I never met with the man in or his family this individual committed terrible crimes against minors Missy and I stand unequivocally with the victims and their families I condemn his actions in the strongest possible terms this is also why I hired an external group to train our staff on sexual abuse awareness and how to safeguard miners the issue hits close to both me and Missy his wife as we are both experienced the evils of sexual abuse when we were children by nonre relatives it is something that has haunted me through my life since it happened when I was just 7 years old so this was the article that came out that broke the news about their youth volunteer sexually abusing kids and he was a former police officer so this Cornelius police officer charged with criminal sexual conduct against minors again like I said this has been a trend in the church that has happened this year this is the third so a former canius peace police officer has been arrested for sexual conduct with minors York County authorities announced new details released by the sher's office revealed a deputy responded to a complaint called in from Morning Star Fellowship where the suspect led a youth program at the church so real quick if this is involved in your church or something like this happens you need to get the authorities involved immediately or encourage victims to go to the authorities themselves if they've been victimized because this is an issue for law enforcement once a crime has been committed it is no longer a church issue anymore it becomes an issue of the law so morning storm Ministries reported this they did the right thing because of this youth program leader at their Church they they turned they turned it in so he was the safety coordinator at the church who was C and was called after receiving complaints from parents regarding this officer who was a program leader at the church according to the Sheriff's Office so it looks like this is Ericson Douglas Lee 25 of Charlotte okay so this is the man right here he is charged with dissemination of obscene material to a person under the age of 18 first degree assault and battery second degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor and third degree criminal sexual conduct with a minor Authority said the allegation stemm from a program that Lee started called young Special Forces Erikson pitch this program to the leadership as a school for young men to help them with skills and develop team building habits allegedly in early 2020 Erikson began taking at least four of the juveniles and providing them with alcohol hosting parties and Performing sexual acts on them the alleged incident happened at least home in Fort Mill according to the Sheriff's Office as well as other locations The Narrative also reveals more information to how Lee alleged committed these acts Erikson would host these parties telling parents that he wanted to take the juveniles out to host leadership exercise or camping trips before taking the juveniles to various locations both in and outside yourk County such as morning storm Ministry the investigation stem from complains from parents of the children in the church Morning Star said that it is aware of the allegations and Lee is not currently attending member of the church the church also said that it does not believe the accusations happened on Church property upon being noticed of possible criminal misconduct Miss Morning Star immediately contacted York Sheriff's Department who in turn responded quickly and began to investigate the matter so Morning Star completely cooperated with the vent and the former youth volunteer has not been associated with Morning Star for several months okay so basically yeah so this is uh this is an ongoing investigation and further charges might be pending of course these are all allegations at Point okay people are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law so he has not been found guilty of these crimes I do have to say that for legal purposes but it seems like at this point that there is a sexual uh crime and Scandal that's going on here but let's get back to Chris's letter so I want to take this moment to personally thank each and every one of you for your trust hard work support and ideas a special thanks to Rick and Julie who have been so good to us Missy and I love the entire leadership team staff and members of Morningstar I was only able to do my job here because of you I am truly grateful for the experience the knowledge I have gained during my time at Morning Star and have been honored or privileged to work with such wonderful people many of you have become close friends and I am confident those friendships will last for life I understand my sudden resignation might cause some disruption and I apologize to anyone for any inconvenience this must create however I hope you can understand and support this transition while I will miss Morning Star I am excited about the next chapter in my life and and believe deeply in the future ahead for Morning Star as well I have nothing but respect and honor for the leadership of Morning Star Ministries I have no negative feelings towards anyone here I simply find myself in a position where I can no longer lead the ministry I hope you understand and that we can remain friends with gratitude and love Chris Reed so now we're going to get into a Chris Reed prophetic word and take a look at whether the word came to pass or not he released a book as well as an article on Morning Star website called 40 prophetic words Chris Reed is gifted I think he's a young man with a lot of promise and a good future for him for the most part he seems to me like a decent human being watched a lot of his stuff but I definitely have some concerns and this is not trying to bash him or anything like that but I did want to point out something that I feel needs to be pointed out but before we do that let's just talk quickly about prophecy I am not one that believes that you must get every single prophetic word right I see New Testament prophecy a bit differently than Old Testament Prophecy in the New Testament it seems that anyone can prophesy Joel chapter 2 it says I'm going to pour out my spirit on all All Flesh and they will prophesy the daughters and sons but Paul tells us this I think for this reason is in the Old Testament it happened to be very established people prophesying that were in the office of a prophet right so these were established trusted sources where in the New Testament God will pour out his spirit and anyone could prophesy so I think what Paul did was said okay let two or three word judge every single and test and judge every prophetic word because we have some people that might be prophesying that just don't have the experience the education or schooling in it so it's important to test and judge words but many of my followers get upset with me they believe that if you get one word wrong you should Stone them like in the Old Testament times well we're not in the Old Testament times and we shouldn't be stoning anybody for that matter my whole thinking is in in in the Old Testament times it might have been appropriate to do that in New Testament times we don't want to stone stone people we want to restore them and help them get it right right okay so my good friend Josh made some videos about this topic I guess to kind of push back towards me and I watched his he did a lot of studying and research on this and he basically said to me listen I want to use this as a teaching moment will you listen to it and I did and he said uh basically now I'm saying this I think you can make mistakes when you're first learning to hear the voice of God like for instance when Samuel first heard God's voice he couldn't distinguish who it was and it took Eli to show him oh I think the Lord is speaking to you and also when you're giving words in the beginning you might really not know or have the experience you need mentorship and guiding that's why I've been Pro I've been you know mentored by three different people that have the season prophetic gift in the prophetic that I spent large amounts of time watching them and then before leading releasing prophetic words I would get their input on whether this whether I should release this word and they would give me input that's the proper way to do things but in the New Testament Church things could get a little sloppy at times and people could just start releasing words but you can make mistakes when you're when you're first Rel leading word but my friend Josh made a video and said Hey listen Josh when you are giving National words to the larger body of Christ okay you should not be making mistakes you should not be getting things wrong okay and I really had to take some time to really think about it but I I now take his point on this okay it's one thing if you're giving one word to an individual person and you're a new chrisan a new in Prophecy that's fine but if you're giving words to the larger body of Christ you better be right and you should get it right and listen if you make a mistake that's fine but um you should own it and apologize okay and we saw this during the the Trump prophecies in 2020 where you know dozens of prophets said that that Trump would serve two successive terms backto back and then when he didn't get elected they said that he would eventually be restored to office during Biden's term none of that happened but the gas fighting happened for months okay so you shouldn't be making mistakes if you're releasing larger words to the larger body of Christ and many people when they make mistakes they continue to Gaslight instead of just owning up to it to make the situation worse but scripture says firmly not to Stone these people but if they get it wrong just disregard it don't follow them don't listen to them they lost credibility they're obviously not speaking for the Lord and so I do not believe that if if you are giving National words and you are not sure you should not be giving those words you should and if you get it wrong you should just own it and apologize so if we do not right have integrity within the prophetic we want this ministry to have integrity again I love the prophetic I love prophetic people I've been in charismatic churches my whole life but the charismatic movement lacks Integrity right now and when it lacks Integrity this will lead to people despising prophecy and when people despise prophecy then that is going to lead them to do something that the Bible commands us not to do it says do not despise prophecy so if we don't judge and test words these will end up not coming to pass or people will get it wrong that will lack into Integrity if this happens a few times then people will outright despise and reject prophecy and will be causing them to sin RT Kendall would even add in all of this that if you speak for God and you're using God's name in a word which many of these people do you are now also violating the Ten Commandments because you are using God's name in vain so if your word doesn't come to pass and you attach God's name to it then you're all also subjecting God to being Dishonored and de disrespected so that's another lay layer to all of this so I don't do this because I dislike Chris Reed matter of fact I like him and I want him to succeed in all of this and be the best that he can be but if it missed a word which I feel that he did here it's about two months until the election season two months and a week okay give or take a few days okay and he released a word we're going to take a look at it right here okay so this is from morning storm Ministries 40 prophecies for 2023 Beyond I'll place this link in the description section and you can take a look at it if you'd like but we're going to go down here to one of the prophetic words and a couple of them here a lot of them possibility he missed I think it's a possibility he missed this one although there is some time still for him to get this one right I do not see him getting this one right so if you look at 21 here it says here Joe Biden and Camila Harris will not be leading the Democratic party ticket in the next election cycle I saw a man winning the Democratic nomination but it was not Joe Biden okay so basically he's saying here Chris Reed is saying here I saw a man winning the Democratic nomination okay so we know because this happened last week Camila Harris is now the Democratic Presidential nominee and will face off against Donald Trump this fall okay now basically so it seems that his National word here in this case did not come to pass he said that um that there would be a mail that would be running for the Democratic candidate and that is not the case now there is to months left but I don't see if that would to change and Camila Harris to be changed I think it would put us in a constitution crisis which in these times is definitely possibly possible okay so I'm not suggesting but at this particular point it looks like this word is at least partially wrong I'm guessing that he was thinking like I was thinking practically speaking forget about prophetically that Gavin Nome would he probably should have been running on this ticket Camila Harris is incompetent on so many levels it's a shock they even ran her but Chris Reed soaring a man winning the nomination but a woman won the nomination also some of this prophecy as you go down further in the page he seemed to suggest that Putin would be taken away out of power in 20 early 2023 and we are now almost 9 months into the year and Putin won another election and seems to have an approved rating of 78% within Russia so basically it doesn't seem like that prophecy is coming to pass listen I'm not trying to pick on Chris or beat up on Chris but the truth is is if we don't hold people accountable in the body of Christ we're going to see a lot of the same foolishness and nonsense like we saw in the 2020 election and I'd actually be shocked if any of the senior prophetic people in the community actually held Chris accountable and actually publicly and tell him please just just just repent and apologize that you missed this one and got it wrong there still is some time left but I'd be shocked if anyone does that in the prophetic Community I heard Alexander Pagani said this recently the church the Christian church is filled with cowards a lot of people don't like confronting they don't like calling things out but this is part of the Christian faith to Paul use very aggressive language contend admonish rebuke fight correct reprove this is part of the Christian Life too and if we don't do these things we'll end up with a flaky charismatic church and we've got to change things okay um I've learned from RT Kendall that really what we're looking for RT Kendall has been on record and got to a lot of problems saying this but he said the charismatic prophetic Church is is ishmail it's not the true movement of God I happen to agree with him and what RT Kendall was saying was I'm calling for a word and spirit movement that will come together that will be the full Council of God that will be the end times Revival it will pass by the modern-day charismatic movement and I agree with him I believe that we've seen a lot of this stuff if you need to look into this yourself read God's generals by Roberts Leen and look into the charismatic generals it was all pretty sloppy and it was a disaster to be honest with you there was only one of them that ended well in Smith Wigglesworth so the church really needs a word and Power movement that's firmly rooted in the word of God but that can move in the power and demonstration of God's spirit and when that comes together and we have accountability and structure in place we're going to see a great outpouring of God's spirit the sensation and calvinist and the Reform Group are not going to join the charismatic communities while we're constantly getting prophetic words wrong when we're constantly putting up false Apostles false prophets none of them are going to join us the Baptist aren't going to join us we have to get to a place in the charismatic world where we police our own where we stick up for things where we regain Integrity so that we could have a word and power church but they're not going to join us because there's a lot of foolishness and nonsense going on in the charismatic world and on this channel I'm going to call it out and I am 100% charismatic I will be the rest of my life I believe in God's spirit I believe in Prophecy I believe in visions and dreams I believe in all the gifts of the Spirit I believe that God physically heals today I got healed this year instantaneously or very quickly okay I've laid hands on people and they've been healed okay so basically I am fully charismatic but the foolishness and nonsense needs to it needs to come to an end in the prophetic movement I saw a video on the Toronto Revival and it seems like at one point people started making animal noises and so to me I was just shocked because it was like why didn't people immediately shut it down but they let this continue people making animal noises the spirit of God would never lead anyone to make animal noises I'm sorry okay and and if he did it would be a very rare exception so the charismatic world needs to police itself it we need to call out our own at times I appreciate uh Dr Michael Brown because he will uh even call out some of the excesses like uh Kenneth copelan and Benny Hinn in the charismatic Movement we need to do that okay so I'm not bashing on Chris Reed I I think I like him as a person I think he is really gifted but I just wanted to point this out to say I'm definitely concerned about some of the prophetic words that he releases and um I think a lot of these words on this list are not going to come to pass and unfortunately nobody's going to say anything in the prophetic movement so we're just going to sweep it under the rug and pretend like it didn't happen so I like Chris and I like who he is as a person I think he's gifted I think he loves God I think he loves people but the truth is is that a woman has won the Democratic nomination not a man seems like
