battle for both offenses let's see if they can get it going this time the sh hands it's lovelin head out of bounds after a solid gain more than enough to pick up a first Down's a first incent play a nice completion here by this Michigan offense and when Michigan is really clicking you think about over the years they've been efficient within that passing game being able to throw the football to complement a very physical running game nice play important second down play coming up they'll keep it on the ground running back has the hand off oh and he breaks free it's a foot race he canot stop him he's in touchdown Michigan what a long run for the touchdown know if this defense was caught sleeping or walking in mud I can't pick which one maybe it's both because the running back just went right by them so easily for the big game and a big time score empty set as they try for the two-point conversion looking downfield it's orgie he makes it into the end zone to add two more to the lead here's the kickoff team now set to boot this one away short boo caught just inside the 30 Turner tackle right there that's to start the drive so the Duke offense has back out out of the field they coming off a three and out looking to produce a positive drive here the shotgun running play call and you'll maybe get back to the line of scrimmage but no more than that second down play coming up Chris I'll be really honest with you I don't know why they continue to try to run the football I'm all about balance I'm all about trying to make sure defense has to defend the run and the throw at this point in the game they haven't been able to run the ball they're going to have to go through the air if they're going to come back and take the lead in this game at some point looking to throw it on Third and very long and now the ball comes out a disastrous play from the start the defense has picked up the football going the other way how about this defense flying in there trying to get their hat on the ball they do and they're able to pounce on it for a big [Applause] turnover and the Wolverines will line up now it's first and [Applause] goal they'll try to run it in on first and goal and he gets to the end zone touchdown Wolverines and now the try here for the extra point the he had the extra point and the lead now 21 [Applause] zip now the kickoff team is out on the field pickoff return starting just inside the 30 and he's brought down after a decent return out of the 31 Duke's offense head back on onto the field now bubbled it away last time and now they're in a big hole they got to react quickly here here's the handoff they'll stop him behind the line for a loss and one Chris I think we all kind of get caught up in third down what what's the offense doing on third down but I think what's also important is how well you defend first down if you can hold your opponents to a short gain or a tackle for a loss you throw the offense out of whack and their game plan gets much more challenging to try to come up with that first down it's a draw to the back he stopped short of the marker it's four down now the Blue Devils will line up to kick it away hter getting a workout here on for the fifth time today now it's a high kick he hit it straight up on the return it's Morgan and they've got the returner Corral Michigan offense back out on the field theyve really built momentum in this game they' been hard to stop and the defense make some adjustments come up with a stop [Applause] here and the single back takes the hand off breaks the tackle to get back BL scrimmage but that's it Chris you know me I love to see defensive backs and especially Corners that are willing to come up and get physical against the Run game what a job of making that play in space No Gain because of the play of that corner the gain moves the ball to the 34 deluts will line up chance for a couple more plays before the end of the quarter looking to throw it's orgy scrambling now he'll make the throw and he finds a wide open receiver they forgot about him downfield touchdown Michigan to stretch the lead the route is on well that's a well machine right there everyone on this offense has been a scar in their roles when they're rolling like this results in quick and positive [Applause] results and now here comes the point after attemp on for the extra point extra point is good and they stretch the lead a little bit more so KK Michigan has the lead here at the end of the quarter this has been a beat down and the stats at the end of three reflect [Applause] that let's see if a comeback is in store here as we start the fourth quarter we K our team on the field now is a get set to send this one away off fielded inside the 20 gets it to the 25 yd line that's where they start the drive BL Devil's offense head back out on the field now this group is coming off a quick three and out and they put something together in this drive running out of time in the pocket finds a man downfield that's a big gain to the right and a big game before he goes out of bounds the offense keeps churning gets a fresh set of downs hey that's a great gain right here for these guys and it hasn't been a good day let's face it but I love the fact that they're still fighting and a drive like this who knows what it can do for you maybe get points on the board maybe not able to come back in this game man it could really help you down the road as far as showing what your character is about and how you're not giving up that's reeled in it's Harvey tackled but not before he gets into enemy territory at the 45 the Blue Devils lining up here on First and 10 that's a nice pickup there they find some space in the zone and pick up the first down yeah really nice call here Chris to be able to pick up this first down on this drag route the quarterback does a nice job of being patient waiting for that window to open up in that zone and he put it right on the money for the receiver to have a chance to not just catch it but eventually get the first first down play call coming up how aggressive will it be and it's incomplete the defender arrived the same time is the football and now it's second down well these guys just continue to struggle throwing the football you know whether it's been running the wrong route the quarterback not being accurate the offensive line not doing their job it's been a collective effort and it's a big reason why they're trailing now in this game this was a promising drive but back-to-back incompletions makes it third and 10 looking to throw it again SS a quick throw breaking through Defenders that's a big game before he goes out of bounds it'll move the sticks more than enough for a first down first down here the offense has time for one more play before the two-minute warning here comes a throw from the Red Zone that's incomplete even on a first down pass attempt he felt heavy pressure second down here time for one more play before the two-minute warning dropping back it's Murphy bringing pressure oh they've got him for a sack a big play made by the junior that's the two-minute warning here this offense desperate to cut into this lead and then and try to get the football back again he's just trapped and sacked in the pocket it is a sack party out there for this defense everything going their way you know that this offense is going to try to throw the football down by such a big margin late in the game and this defensive line is bringing the heat they come up with another sack and they heave it deep down field incomplete but yeah here comes a penalty marker now that should be a drive extending first [Applause] down so the pi penalty cost the defense 15 and it's a fresh set of downs so first intent for the offense after a costly fourth down penalty on the defense pressure is coming he's going to be brought down by that ferocious pass rush nice sack this defense has been lights out today great job once again applying pressure on this quarterback this poor quarterback he doesn't know what he scen today not able to get anything going to be able to try prer comes and once again no escape and just like that you squeeze the life out of this offense that's another sack by this defense they have been in that back field the entire game and a big reason why these guys are enjoying a lead and it's intercepted right near the goal line Looks Like A Man is down on the field after the last play so we'll take a timeout all right so it's first and 10 and back inside the 5 yd line we're going to see how much this play caller trusts his quarterback how aggressive will he be from this spot they flip it to him on the Jet [Applause] Sweep now it's second down looking for a gap it's Edwards fighting him off and the ball to the ground B carrier makes the recovery and also up for first down and the Wolverines take over first pre- snap motion from the receiver a pop pass on the Jet Sweep and he's tackled for a loss after the catch the defense all over that one down com they got some ground to make up second and long from the 15 scanning the field it's orgy quarterback finds the tight end for the completion they bring him down but an explosive play by this offense big game the offense is clicking and the defense just searching for answers now Rocky switch so this team suffers what became a beat D we were not expecting this at all and wow it's a head scratcher yeah they've got a lot of soul searching to do in my opinion you played a good team and got out play but I think there are a lot of teaching points that can come out of a game like this hopefully this coaching staff uses them and that is going to wrap it up we enjoyed this one here from KB street I'm Chris fer and this has been
