there is only one month left in the 2024 MLB season so things are about to intensify as the playoff races are heating up games mean more now so we're looking at the schedules who do we have coming up what big games are on the horizon who's coming to town that we should be able to beat and help our chances welcome in everybody we are going to be ranking the remaining schedules from most difficult who's got it the toughest the rest of the way to easiest schedule Who's got a cakewalk from here to October now we have our teams here you can see the standings as of recording we are going to be taking and considering our playoff contenders as any team that is above 500 so the San Francisco Giants at 67 and 68 I'm sorry you are out the St Louis Cardinals at 6767 as of recording by the time you see this maybe there'll be a game below 500 but as of recording there at 67 and 67 so they are in we are going to get started but make sure to drop a like if you enjoy your time here and leave your comments down below let's start with the most difficult schedule the rest of the way and this hurts me because I want this team I want this team to make it in I still think they will make it in but boy they have a slog it's the Arizona Diamondbacks with a combined opponent winning percentage of 527 they come in at 18th they are four games back in the NL West behind the Dodgers but they're six games up in the wild cards so they should be able to hold but oh my God look at this schedule four against the Dodgers this weekend seven against the Milwaukee Brewers we couldn't have had any of those Brewers games a couple of months ago sprinkled throughout the season three against the Padres three against the Astros and the teams that are considered easy the teams that are below 500 six are against the Giants and the Giants are only one game below 500 this is a brutal schedule to close the season for the Diamond Backs but I still think they will hold and grab and be in the mix with that wild card spot sorry I sputtered there I don't know what happened I totally ran out of gas let's keep going Kansas City Royals come in at 7 17th with an opponent winning percentage of 522 I don't want Kansas City to fall out I really don't the fact that they are up five and a half on the wild card that gives me some comfort here they're only a game and a half behind Cleveland after taking three out of four so maybe this doesn't matter maybe KC is locked in and they're going to steamroll this thing they've got the Yankees Guardians the Braves the twins the Astros this is a very difficult schedule and three against the Giants again we just talked about it with Arizona the Giants are only three games below 500 this is a very difficult schedule second most difficult schedule we have the rest of the way next up it's the Milwaukee Brewers 16th 507 is the opponent winning percentage so this is the third most difficult schedule the rest of the way and it has to do with those Diamondbacks games seven against Arizona plus the Phillies you've got the Mets you've got the Cardinals in there as well the Giants are looming for all of these teams sort of elevating that winning percentage cuz even though they are considered one of the easier teams because they're below 500 they're only one game below 500 really the Rockies look good here Pittsburgh maybe maybe it depends if you meet up with Jones and skin uh the Reds if you don't get hunter green uh you should be okay but four games against Cincinnati this is a very difficult schedule for Milwaukee in the end a 9 and a half game lead in the central they've built up a padding and that's going to hold we've got the New York Yankees next with an opponent winning percentage of 503 so they are only 15th here which if you're keeping track the other way this is the fourth most difficult schedule the rest of the way and this is the last time we will identify difficult schedules because it's going to get too complicated but a 503 opponent winning percentage they've got three against the Orioles which is Big cuz there is a game and a half difference and these two teams play each other it's in a couple of weeks it's not early September we got a couple weeks until they'll meet up again then you got KC Boston Seattle Chicago St Louis a lot there now the teams they play below 500 that shapes up it looks good for the Yankees the A's the Pirates and the Texas Rangers again with Pittsburgh it just depends on do you meet up with Jones and SK but the Yankees with a game and a half lead in the American League East will be looking to get through some tough games next up after the New York Yankees we've got the St Louis Cardinals at 14th six games back in the Wild Card sitting at 500 as of recording their here because they are at 500 this is going to be in my opinion too difficult of a schedule for them to overcome the Yankees the Brewers the Guardians the Mariners it is likely that they will lose all of those series maybe we get one out of three but in the end that's not going to be enough plus the Blue Jays are playing Better Baseball the Giants are just a game below 500 this is going to be too difficult of a schedule for the Cardinals to overcome next 13th easiest schedule we are now dipping below 500 for opponent winning percentage is the New York Mets three games back in the wild card they need to catch the Braves can they do it they have three games against the Braves that's good but they also have seven against the Philadelphia Phillies three against the Brewers those are 10 games we include the Atlanta games those are 13 games that could if the Mets can't can't win the majority that'll sink their season three against Boston Boston struggling yeah they'll take that series most likely they'll take the white sock series they'll take the gats they'll probably take Cincinnati and they'll probably beat up all my blue jays but those 13 games Philly Milwaukee and Atlanta out of those 13 games if the New York Mets want to get in I think they got to get like nine or 10 of them so that'll be in my opinion what we need to watch they take care of those teams in green and they get the majority of those Philly Milwaukee and Atlanta games can they do it stay tuned the 12th easiest schedule tied for 12th belongs to the Houston Astros they have the Diamondbacks the Guardians the Padres the Royals the Mariners sprinkled out there feel good about them in many of those matchups Cleveland the way they've been playing lately Seattle I give Houston The Edge there you've got seven games against the Angels they should clean up there Astros are four up in the AL West and when I look at the schedule yes those Diamondbacks and Padre's games will be something to see they're playing Kansas City right now that's going to be a good series as well but in the end I do think the houon Astros when I look at this schedule will hold in the AL West tied with them are the Minnesota Twins Minnesota is currently three and a half games behind Cleveland in the central three and a half games up in the wildcard hunt we think about will they be one of the teams it's Minnesota it's Boston it's Kansas City three teams two of them are going to grab a spot can the Minnesota Twins be one of those teams when we take a look at this schedule they get three against Miami Miami three against the angels and and and Cincinnati three against Toronto four against Tampa this is a really good schedule for Minnesota you had three against Boston right now considered one of the tougher opponents but Boston has been struggling lately this is a great great schedule for the twins I know they're not they're not in the top 10 but it feels like they should be with this grouping of games I think that Minnesota is in a really good spot despite some of the struggles they're having lately to hold on to a wild card spot as we get into the top 10 now I do want to give a shout out to tanon that's where I got all of these schedules in one easy to consume uh manner so make sure to check them out if you're looking for this to continue to update daily they're not sponsoring the video I just need to give them a shout out because a lot of this information came from that website so the Boston Red Sox are 10th with a 495 opponent winning percentage three and 1 half games back in the wild card so with this schedule do we think they can climb back in and I don't believe that is the case yeah you got three against white socks they'll take care of business there but the Blue Jays they just lost three out of five to the Toronto Blue Jays in Boston and this team has trouble winning at home so you've got three more against the Blue Jays there's six against the Tampa Bay Rays I don't like that for Boston on top to of all of those games against teams above 500 four against the Yankees Orioles twins Mets Tigers the season is likely over for the Boston Red Sox I don't see or at least the hopes of a postseason appearance those hopes are over for the Boston Red Sox I don't see it tied with the Red Sox at 10th is the Atlanta Braves they're currently three games up in the Wild Card six games back in the nation Nation League East we look at their schedule I see a lot of winnable games here Miami Colorado Washington Cincinnati Toronto I think Atlanta matches up well with all of those and should have their way with those teams they got three more against the Phillies this weekend got to do something there four against the Dodgers KC and New York there are enough wins here for the Braves to catch the Phillies if the Phillies are losing games the Phillies can continue to play the way they've been playing in this second half the Braves can catch them but if the Phillies can win their games if the Phillies can win this series that they're currently in the middle of with the Atlanta Braves that'll only Pat it and give them more room but if Atlanta let's say Atlanta can split this series with Philly and then grab those wins because there's a lot of them on the board there they could catch the Phillies it'll just depend on again what Philadelphia does so for the wild card spot really this is with the Mets in mind three-game lead in the wild card if we got all these winnable games enough winnable games to catch the Phillies that leads you to see where I'm going here I believe that the Braves have enough games that they'll win here that they can hold on to that wild card three games against the Mets the Mets will not sweep the Atlanta Braves so give me one or two at most to the Mets out of that group and when you consider all the other games the Braves have here I think the Braves are going to be in good in a good spot let's take a look at coincidentally the very next team on the list are the Philadelphia Phillies this is perfect they're lining up right next to each other so we can compare the schedules this is the eighth easiest schedule the rest of the way they have the six-game lead over the Braves we look at the schedule here you've got the Brewers three seven against the Mets that is going to be big three against the Cubs who have just crawled back above 500 they've been hot lately can they maintain that will they still be above 500 when the Phillies and Cubs Go Head to-head then you got the winnable games Miami Washington the Blue Jays the Rays the Rays and the Blue Jays will probably play them tough but seven games against Miami Washington we got wins there we've got when we compare again the the the Phillies and the Braves the Braves I see a lot of games that they can win the Phillies I see a lot of losses here the Brewers are going to play him tough the Mets are going to play him tough the Cubs the Cubs are still hot they'll play him tough Tampa will play them tough this is going to I believe based on these schedules if things play out the way they could this NL East is probably going to come down to the last week of the season because I think the Braves have enough winnable games and I look at this schedule and I see a lot of losses for the Philadelphia Phillies this one's going to be fun the seventh easiest schedule belongs to the San Diego Padres so lock them in San Diego is going to grab a wild card spot they have a five-game lead right now over that wild card situation they're back five games in the NLS I don't see them catching up to the Dodgers they do get three against the Dodgers but I still don't see the Dodgers blowing this Division I think this is a wild card future for the Padres you got the white socks you got the Giants six games against the Giants this is actually a rather deceptive situation here because the Giants are right there they're one game below 500 and Tampa is either one or two games below 500 so really it's only the white socks that are lined up to be a cakewalk for the Padres but there's also a lot of teams hovering around 500 in this group we talked about the and the Giants so is Detroit so is Seattle we have of these opponents four of them right around 500 so that's why we end up with the seventh easy schedule is some of these teams that are deemed as difficult teams that are above 500 or just a couple of games above 500 in the end I'm talking a lot here but I believe San Diego will handle their business against San Francisco and Tampa and Chicago and Detroit and Seattle and it'll come down to can they can they sweep La can they put themselves in the conversation again I think unlikely but give me that wild card spot for the Padre's sixth easiest schedule belongs to the Cleveland Guardians and I got to tell you they need it they are a game and a half up in the central they have three more games against Kansas City who just took three out of four they have four games against the Minnesota Twins and the twins aren't far behind either you got three against the Dodgers you got three against Houston those four in particular could make or break the Guardian season you got three against St Louis okay St Louis could lose tomorrow and then St Louis would be moved to the green and then you would really see why they have the sixth easiest schedule but the four difficult matchups that they have those are make or break for the Cleveland Guardians let's get to the top five the fifth easiest schedule belongs to the Chicago Cubs and they need it cuz they're currently five back in the wild card so we're thinking about are there enough wins here for them to climb and catch the Atlanta Braves now the winds are here no doubt about it Dodgers Phillies Yankees those are nine difficult games after that it's rather simple I mean these we're talking about teams at the bottom of the league with the Rockies the A's the gats seven games against the Washington Nationals three against the Pittsburgh Pirates if you don't match up against skin I don't know how many times I've said it now in this video if I've edited some of them out or not but if you don't match up against skes Pittsburgh won't be that difficult uh three against Cincinnati could be interesting but at the end of the day the winds are here the question is as we talked about with the Braves in the Philly situation yes there are the wins but the team you're trying to catch and it's the Atlanta Braves there need to be losses the Braves need to be losing games and I just don't see enough losses in that Brave schedule for the Cubs to catch him even though the Cubs have a ton of wins here Cubs will finish above 500 it'll be a great finish it' be a momentum sort of situation A momentum building September for next year but despite the wins I don't think it's going to be enough they're just too far back next the fourth easiest schedule the Seattle Mariners and they need it four back in the west four and a half back in the Wild Card seven games against the Rangers and they've handled the Rangers so far this year seven against the angels and they and the head-to-head are up in that series as well three against the Angels we've got 17 games against Rangers A's and angels all division opponents there it's only three against the Yankees only two against the Padre's three against St Louis that's actually a good thing because again St Louis is right at 500 right now so it's a good schedule for Seattle to try to climb and and gain ground on either that wild card spot Minnesota if Minnesota slips Cleveland if Cleveland slips maybe Seattle can grab a wild card spot if they can't catch Houston they could at least grab a wild card spot a lot of wins here for Seattle if they can strike out a little bit less but I like the way this schedule closes for Seattle the third easiest schedule of course everybody was rooting for the Dodgers to have the third easiest schedule that that's a Dodger fan that's a compliment it may not have sounded like one but but it was four games up in the National League West a 482 combined opponent winning percentage you got six games against the Rockies three against Miami two against the Angels that's 11 games where the Dodgers should go 11 and0 really uh but let's add in some real life elements here maybe it's a 10- one or a 9-2 for the Dodgers so those games they will handle their business I like them against look I like the Padres but when the Dodgers and Padres go head-to-head I give the edge to the Dodgers so I like them to take that series Cleveland is struggling I think they'll take that series the Cubs this will be one of those series matchups from a Cubs perspective it's going to be a little difficult there's a lot of wins for the Cubs in September this is not where those wins lie so the Dodgers lineup looking good here to hold on to that 4 game lead grow that 4 game lead against the Arizona Diamondbacks but first they got the Diamond Backs for four this weekend so we'll see how the Dodgers close but I'd like for them to hold the second easiest schedule belongs to the Detroit Tigers five games back in the wild card they have been hot they have climbed back above 500 but the question is are there enough wins and are there enough Los losses for the teams ahead of them six against the Orioles oh boy I don't like that matchup the Padres I don't like that the Royals I don't like that the Red Sox have been struggling so there's a chance to take that Series against the White Socks and the Rockies and the A's take care of business I think Tampa plays your tough in the end I don't see enough wins here I I think there are enough wins to maybe hang around 500 but that's not going to get the job done if Detroit was leading the central or leading in a wild card spot again if you can play 500 the rest of the way maybe that's enough if you're in that position but they're not they're behind they're five games back similar to the Cubs I just don't think there is enough movement back from the teams ahead of them to get in but hey Detroit will should be able to finish uh above 500 with this remaining schedule the number one easyest schedule the rest of the way belongs to the Baltimore Orioles they're a game and a half back in the American League east and Yankee fans you got to hate to see this remember where did we talk about the Yankees the Yankees were 15th the Yankees had one of the most difficult schedules the rest of the way and then here are the Baltimore Orioles with the most easiest schedule they got the three against the Yankees so an opportunity to go head-to-head there then you got Detroit and Detroit's only here cuz they've been hot and they have climbed back above 500 but check back with me in a couple days Detroit could be in the green Boston has been struggling really if you're Baltimore there are six games that you have circled the rest of these games every single one of these series you should take you should take the Boston the Detroit the white socks the Rockies the Rays the Giants you should take each and every one of those series it comes down to the Yankees and the Rays I really like when I look at this and I look at this dude there's a lot of losses here for the New York Yankees there's a lot of opportunities for them to trip up unless the Orioles just completely fall apart they should be able to get the lead in the American League east and when we compare these two probably hold it so I love the way this works out for the Baltimore Orioles they have been struggling but I think the schedule the baseball Gods smiled down on them and said here is a September that you can handle and build some momentum and with this maybe even grab the number one seed heading into the postseason those are the remaining schedules ranked worst to easy easiest for all of our postseason contenders again if you haven't let leave your comment down below and drop a like before you head out of here that is going to do it for this one everybody ball cap Nation I salute you those of you that made it all the way to the end it does amazing things for the algorithm so I appreciate you for that thank you for coming in and watching and remember as always if it's low let it go and if it's High Let It Fly
