decide whether or not he feels like he can play today and he is legitimately questionable for today's game against the Patriots in a game in which T Higgins the other wide receiver is not expected to play due to a hamstring this Chase situation has gone on all summer long he has yet to take a full practice with the team in 11 on 11 football work we'll see if he can get out there today that's going to be up to him but that contract as of last night looked like it wasn't going to happen all right whether he gets the money or not Randy you were saying last night there's there's football shape and then there's wide receiver shape so he's not going to be in it what can he do today even if he does suit it up and play I just think that of course he's going to be on the pitch count but just having his presence out there for his quarterback and let me say this man Jamar Chase hasn't earned his contract you talking about Jamar Chase talking about he wants more money than Justin Jeffers let me the best football players in the NFL pay this guy what are we doing get him on F outside the box to do it with two years left i i i age outside the man deserves to get paid is he one of the best yes I mean I agree I don't know if he's the best but he's one of the best and for the Cincinnati Bengals to go outside the box two year two years ear early in terms of the cont they made an exception for Joe burrow he's a quarterback and I understand you treat quarterbacks different qubs are different the contract is going to be bigger a year from now Teddy at the end of the day these contracts don't get cheaper if you sign him now you're signing him for less than you are next year this ass fat showe yesterday's price is not today's price they should sign Jamar Chase because it makes sense for him and it makes sense for them but the reality is I think we all expect they will not do it so does that mean that they fall off today could they even find themselves losing a game to New England with a with a calf yeah the big thing here is he's going to be I mean he'll be out there on the field testing this but these drills greeny are coreographed right like these things he's done in practice and out here today he's going to move around and I know he's not Justin Fields but let's not forget his legs are a big part of his game I mean this guy's made a career on extending plays outside the pocket and being creative there's just nothing like you know again Your Right Guard whiffs and the D tackle is bearing down on you and you have to go escape and I get you I guess what like in that urgency if your calf grabs your calf grabs like you're not you're not pushing through that you know so again I I'm really interested to see what takes place here on on pregame and him testing this think they want to move more than uh than we've seen so far if they're going to clear him look Russell Wilson wants to play he's trying to convince them he can play but this is a recurrence of an injury that knocked him out for a couple weeks of Camp you got to think they're going to be safe um and go with Justin Fields but we will obviously keep you posted as we continue to learn more that's just not football right there like that's not NFL football you can drop back three steps and throw some routes but the reality is in the NFL a vast majority of your plays you got to move off the dot Randy you want to see him move laterally right you keep you're we're seeing him moving straight back but he needs to be able to move laterally well it seems like he's still putting a little bit of he's a little timid on that right side and I just said when he walked out there he has something on that calf so like Al to Alex's point I need to see a little bit more to make me believe that Russell Buffalo absolutely absolutely look Sean MC der is a great coach defensive coach they've always played great on defense right now this is a bad matchup and look the Arizona Cardinals I know it's seven the line seven this is a live dog an absolute live dog Kyler Murray is going to carve them up in my opinion Trey McBride is a horrible matchup for the entire NFL let alone this saf you know this group with two backup safeties or new safeties if you will I I have a a real issue here I think the the uh the Murray McBride matchup you're going to watch it all day man last year at the end of end of the season this guy was just lighting the entire league up and I expect the same and you have Marvin Harrison Jr now on the outside I mean Kyler Murray this we the last time they played what happened BR you being worried about Buffalo I mean how are your concerns on Josh Allen because eventually these great quarterbacks I'm talking great ones which I feel Josh Allen is you're going to have a revolving do receiver you're going to have guys coming in and coming out and now I think this is Josh Josh's perfect opportunity to show that I am great I mean me and me and khil Shakir are going to have a great relationship Curtis Samuel is new the tight end concade all of this I I still expect Kean sure you know you speaking you speaking about his his Playmakers there's one thing that that really stood out to me this this uh this summer was being able to watch a young rookie receiver like Keon K away from the football field so all this talk about Buffalo and their concerns I think for me the concerns will be on the defensive side but right here this young man right here all you heard was the praise coming out of the mini camps the training camp what I'm looking for today is to see how they will utilize a guy like Curtis Samuels A guy like Keon colan will play on the outside rex or will they moov him in a slot because the man can run he's not that fast he's more Elusive and quick so his separation will be a must watch today but I'm also giving some props and shots out to Demar Hamlin the safety for the Buffalo Bills getting his first start today so I'm actually excit very cool very cool Rex I totally agree with you I think the Cardinals are going to be better especially on offense however this this idea that the bills still aren't the bills I think's ridiculous I know they've had a ton of turnover all those names though that we put up on defense guess what they haven't really played in the last couple years they've been so injured on that side of the ball and guess who they still have they still have Josh Allen I mean this guy's had 40 plus touchdowns the last four years he's the only man in NFL history to do that he's still there and in a lot of ways I think the the low expectations and less noise listen we're not going to be up here every single week talking about how many catches Stefon Diggs had and is he upset I think that's going to free Josh up I think I think this might be the best Josh we see I think that occupied a lot of Buffalo also not only receivers but Josh is is how's Stefan doing is Stefan is Stefan eating do we we do we get him
