Can we handle the HEAT!? | We Try Spicy Spices from Penzeys

Intro welcome to we try I'm Amy and I'm Ethan and today we are trying super spicy spices from Penzeys spice company let's do it [Music] so I went to the Penzeys store and I Penzeys said I want the spiciest spices you have no [ __ ] give me the spiciest spices now she recommended these four spices and we are going to dip our gluten-free chicken tenders in these spices to see how spicy are these really now they'll Spicy Spices probably be spicier to me but over here I'll be the judge of that not so sure he likes his spices he likes it spicy he is on fire I don't know what's wrong with me lately it's just been I need stuff that's spicier and spicier and spicier no I'm super excited about this this will be fun we've never done anything like this before so and all of these spices they smell it is smelling so good it's really smelling good up here and I mean it's so good they smell spicy like these crushed red peppers they don't just smell like the stuff you get at a pizza place they smell like the stuff you get at pizza place on fire I'm pumped where's Penzeys out of this is I believe in Wisconsin I was right Wisconsin Wauwatosa Wisconsin very wisconsiny we went to the Beverly Hills Michigan location cheers Beverly Hills Michigan still very nice though oh yeah definitely nice town I think we should give it a try now Ethan you're the hot guy do you have a preference on which Very Hot Crushed Red Pepper one we should try first let's go for it let's go with the very hot crushed red pepper okay so the very crushed red hot pepper indicates 40 000 heat units the thing about this just by the look at it it's got like that traditional pizza place red Crush red pepper look except there's orange flakes as well so it just like looks like a level spice here I'm nervous guys nervous we'll see if Amy survives this I might be doing we try by myself now I would say I I have this nicely coated I mean that's that is a lot of spice spice that much oh he's got twice that much let's go let's just take a look what do you think cheers I'm nervous it's coming on it is spicier than the pizza place oh yeah this should actually would be really really nice I actually like that it is spicy don't be around like it's in my throat spicy yeah the flakes kind of get stuck in your throat type it's definitely building up as it goes on it is building up like it's it's actually hot right now I like it though like it's like a nice flavor oh yeah it's not just like punch heat it's like a good flavor plus the heat very true very true I like this one this is a good one I would love to put this on my pizza next time all right Cayenne Red Pepper next one we got is the Cayenne Red Pepper so Cayenne Red Pepper sometimes hot sometimes not this is supposed to be hot so I'm really looking forward to this just the smell of it oh it smells spicy it just smells fantastic this one's also 40 000 heat units it says the Cayenne Red Pepper has the power to make any dish hot okay we're gonna take our chicken nugget and dip it in the cayenne pepper let's go that is like nice thick coating Ethan's getting way more than me but look at that let's go that is such a nice looking spice it smells really good thank you mmm it's coming on oh whoa whoa that spice pumpkin oh that's really good it's good but whoa that is that is more in your throat than the crusher oh wow that's hot it out of all these spices too it smells spicy yeah and like it tastes like you can taste the spice right and smell the spices yeah yeah each of these so it's not like your regular cayenne pepper you just got out of the cupboard like it smells and tastes like spicy Cayenne red pepper smells fantastic I like the smell it is still in my throat it's like in the back of my tongue it's good I want to put this on my breakfast tomorrow this is fantastic let's say he's gonna these are all gonna be gone by like the end of the month let's be real let's be real but you know you kind of when you taste something really spicy you kind of get that like warm feeling on your whole body I do I feel warm right now oh yeah like I got that like my head my whole head feels warm I feel like are we sweating I feel like we're sweating well we're under the bright light are we glowing yeah are we glowing We're Stars we're under the bright lights the third one is called burp Burberry Berber I want to go with Berber there have you Cayenne Pepper ever heard of this place before no me neither like I'm warm right now same from that cayenne pepper this one also has cayenne pepper in it right mmm the smell is so good wow look at that smells like you're in Morocco right now like that smells so good so good it smells like a curry mmm oh wow oh wow that's hotter than the Cayenne because it comes on earlier yeah attacks your tongue the taste of that one it might be my favorite so far though that's really flavorful good that's super flavorful oh but it's spicy it is spicy that feels great it's hot up in here this might be the best haste house that we have done yet I thought it'd be a fun one yeah wow that is really really good my tongue's on fire Hot Curry Powder so the last spice that we have is hot curry powder wait okay my mouth is still on fire from the other two just means you got to eat more I can see what even like said it's a good feeling it's a good feeling I'm not gonna lie but especially in the morning when you're eating your bread like it wakes you up it really does so there we go really nice wow Ethan really coated I love the color of it and it smells the smell is just like it just smells like Indian food it smells so good yeah out smells great mmm oh my God it's hot too the Hat's just all blending together now I don't know which one's hotter okay I can't differentiate it just keeps us the spice going mouth Sunfire that flavor is excellent though wow you can tell it's just as hot as the other three I can't rate them because they're all hot but flavor-wise the Burberry and the hot curry just have a really nice flavor the cayenne and the crushed red pepper are just heat right and there's some flavor to it but like these you could like put in
