hey youtube welcome back to my channel my name is dion this is the crazy tronation of youtube i'm telling you laughing because this is like my third video today with this blush one that's way too pink and i promise you i tried to tone it down with translucent powder a different powder then a foundation powder and it's still too pink but i'm loving this look except i think i'm having a reaction to this eye shadow so we will see anyway this is about pinsies.com i'm laughing because so i brought my seasonings here these are all my pensies seasonings they don't be they're i don't have them in this container in my kitchen but i'm like how am i going to carry all of this to over here so i put them in here um this is for cheryl um i did a pinsies giveaway and i was telling her about pensies you know you sign up on their website you get information on their deals their gift card sales and things like that and other stuff and i said i guess you can tell i like their website and she wrote something back like i can tell you love pinsies like you love chapstick i said sure i got jokes but it's true though when i thought about it i'm like damn like i really do you talking about pinsies a lot and then the different deals that they had and so that just made me laugh and i'm like wow yeah and so i said you know what i'm gonna do a video of my pinsies spices don't get it twisted i don't really cook the most i do is sprinkle seasonings on something and put it in my air fryer or in my oven or mix seasons and something i i can cook things and i do cook things that taste good i've i have cooked for the people they're like wow this tastes really great i don't consider myself a genuine cook or a talented cook and by that i mean someone who they could just go in refrigerator pull out leftovers from two days ago and put together a whole new meal and this is like damn how do you do that i'm not able to do that or they just go in the cabinet and pull out stuff and pull our stuff in the freezer and they make it make a meal i'm like i can't do that i need like a recipe i need instructions something and so that's why i say i'm not a cook i can make things but someone told me um i don't know if she's gonna see this or not um i might send it to her she told me she's not african-american and i am mixed my ancestry we traced it back to the plantation so i my ancestors my great great greats were actually slaves like true story they were and so my ancestry dna is almost 20 other than black and indian okay so take that for what you will and she was joking with me that she that even though she's not black she has more of a black card than i do because there are certain things i have not made true story y'all gonna be like what the hell i have never made macaroni and cheese i have never made collard greens i have never made a cake or pie or cookies from scratch um i have made ribs in a deep fryer i've never grilled ribs like out like on an outdoor grill um i think i've made turkey meatloaf once that it tasted good like i haven't even made like meatloaf with beef and just i there are just so many things that i just have not and i'm 52 so i'm thinking why learn now like just like whatever i've been doing and working like i'm not chunky for no reason i do eat so anyway so she was kind of teasing me and i'm like yeah you right you right like don't take you know the little piece of black card i have but anyway so these are my spices and i mentioned pinsies to her she's like oh pensies and so i gave her a gift card too and some spices that i had extra of because they want to sell my favorite spice i'm gonna just jump into it justice when i was at the pinzi store i'm so excited they opened the store or market street in philadelphia so that's like a 30 40 minute ride from me but ordering online is easy too so anyway but i was so excited like oh there's really appendix i can drive to but i think i was in oregon i think that's where i was and i went into a pinzi store never heard of pinsies i was like what is this i went in i was just like oh my gosh like there's like a whole store just with spices i grew up in the inner city we didn't have that you went to the grocery store and got lowry's or mccormick or the store-bought brand so i'm like there's a whole like brand with all these different spices and so if you bought like three things they gave you a justice for free and i'm thinking it's just some they're trying to get rid of y'all this for me all right listen what's in it shallots garlic onion green peppercorns chives and green onion that's what's in here regardless of what i cook i would say 98 of what i would cook i would use pepper onion powder garlic powder this replaces that for me so i don't need to buy individual now and i still will add garlic in some things just because i like garlic and i will still add other seasonings that has heat because i do like seasonings i do like flavor i do like a little bit of spice but this for me this is my favorite i believe it's like 8.95 this is a two ounce jar sometimes it goes on sale for like two dollars i'll buy like six of them i go through this if you can see this it's down here i go through one of these in about three months i sprinkle this on everything i sprinkle it on ground beef ground turkey i put it in you know my mashed potatoes and i do make homemade mashed potatoes i do that tuna macaroni salad i sprinkle this in there and even on salmon just sprinkle this on salmon no other season no the spice oh my gosh this is so good this is my i have three more in my cabinet now so i'm waiting for another cell so i can stock up look it's all the way down to here i go through this in about three months and a friend of mine i gave one of these two she likes it too and she's like yeah i can see why you go through in three months she's like yeah we're getting through ours as well so this is like chapstick crack from my stomach and so that's that one this one granulated garlic powder i put this almost in everything too well almost any protein just a little bit just a little bit because garlic can be overpowering another thing i like on their jars it tells you best buy and it has a date which is great because some of us keep seasons forever and then wonder why our stomach be bubbling and i like also that it tells you what most of the jar is what you can put it on because for me being a non-coke who does cook that helps me out and so this one it says when adding dry figure 1 4 teaspoon for each garlic clove that's important for those of you who use fresh garlic i don't use fresh garlic but a quarter teaspoon it is a clove sprinkle a bit on poultry steak chops or fish use about a half teaspoon per pound with salt and pepper to taste also good on salads vegetables pasta potatoes or rice sprinkle on butter bread and broil for garlic bread see i need instructions like that and most of their things do say what it's good on which helps me out and then people are like oh this tastes good what do you do i'd be like pinsie's an air fryer baby so this is their garlic one this one is mural of flavor salt free i don't particularly cook excuse me i don't particularly season stuff with salt for no particular reason other than it's just salty like who needs swollen ankles and all of that but anyway i do put a little bit of salt when i do my homemade mashed potatoes and a little tiny bit of salt when i make tuna salad but other than that i don't use salt for seasoning this is this is gonna be a long video ingredients spices shallots onion garlic lemon peel citric acid chives and orange peel and i haven't opened it yet you can see the seal is not broken yet and it says try it on chicken fish pork and beef add it to soups rice and potatoes shake it over sliced tomatoes corn popcorn and scrambled eggs i don't eat eggs my stomach does not tolerate eggs true story i can eat like bread cake stuff like that cannot eat quiche no french toast scrambled eggs boiled eggs none of that and this is from when i was a kid if i ate something like that within 15 minutes i would vomit it my stomach's like you ain't staying in here true story and so yeah so scrambled eggs but this is a mural of flavor so that's that one [Music] chili nine thousand they have a chewy three thousand i like heat i like spice especially in chili i think chili's supposed to be spicy if you eat chili and you don't like it spicy yeah that's a stew like i don't know what that is what would a future of chili is here i haven't opened this yet but i just purchased last week stuff to make chili with i do make awesome homemade chili that i make is awesome that i know and my second ex-husband he would tell people it's so ironic she makes the best omelettes and she doesn't know what they taste like i would make him ominous for breakfast he would love it he would can you make me another one and i don't even eat eggs but anyway whatever but uh use one tablespoon chili 9000 per quart with any chili recipe from beef to turkey to bean chili brush boneless skinless chicken breasts or fish with oil and use one to two teaspoons per pound before baking or sauteing great for fajitas veggie side dishes ribs you name it y'all chili 9000 the new chili taste that boldy goes where no chili has gone before this will be used soon because it's cold today is december 19 20 i'll put it here somewhere but yeah i'm definitely gonna be making this because it's been cold lately like 40 something degrees cold and like down in the 20s which is below freezing for fahrenheit at night so i'm definitely yeah i'm excited i get so happy about food that's why i'm chunky this one's sweet basil or basel as gordon ramsay was saying it says it's french i don't know the difference between the different countries basil or basil and i didn't open this one yet because i'm finishing a mccormick basil or basel that i do add into my homemade mashed potatoes and so this one i didn't want to have too open at the same time even though i'm like i'm ready i'm over mccormick like i'm a pinsie so i'm a chapstick and pinzi so and this that's all it is it's just french sweet basil or basil uh what does this say is it's known as tomatoes best friend also use on chicken fish pasta stew salads and vegetables ooh add vasel in the last 10 minutes of cooking as heat will dispense its sweet rich flavor and it has you know serving size and calories and stuff like that so that's this one so i'm excited to try this i do know i like biles or basil however you pronounce it sesame seeds india black india black sesame seeds i don't i don't know why i got this i think i was just like because i was you know what it was i had purchased some the ramyan noodles and i was watching youtube videos and how they make it to like a meal with protein and vegetables and all of that which most of us we just cook the noodles and that's it but i do actually put protein in mine and so when i saw this i'm like this might be tasty in it like i'm gonna try it one day i am i haven't opened it yet um sesame seeds are one of the oldest spices as they were used as a valuable source of oil as far back as the egyptians in china meat and fish were rolled in the black seeds before cooking to give an extra crunchy coating i didn't know that that's interesting i'm thinking like should i just get some fish other than salmon because i don't want to mess up salmon because i don't know how to fix salmon and it tastes good so maybe if i get like a different type of fish then you use this for a coating in japan they are used to season rice and noodle dishes and that's why i got it for the noodles sesame seeds also add a nice flavor to baked chicken or fish salad stir-fry vegetables and pork roasts i love how they have that on there because people like me need this and some of y'all who like really cook y'all just like girl just throw stuff in the pot and whatever but i'm not that person this is revolution this came in they have little boxes like a little gift box and it'll have like the one ounce um jars of either three or four different things in it and so i had a small one and i didn't know if i was going to like it and i tried it on wings and my airfryer yo and yeah i did just snort and all of that i was just like oh my gosh like this gave it such a hearty flavor that i ended up buying too much jar as you can see but what this is what is it awesome for anything that takes time to cook slow and tasty is who you are and i think on a card because it comes when you buy the gift box it comes with a little card for each seasoning that's in there and it says something for like slow roast or you know you're cooking ribs or something and grill for a long time and so that's why i wasn't sure how it was going to be but i'm telling you like on chicken this was really good so you can use this other than if you're just slow roasting something but i've really i liked it more than i thought i was cayenne pepper because i like heat this one has been open i like heat i like spicy heat i don't like when something is just hot for no reason other than to burn your mouth it doesn't have any flavor it's just hot that i can't stand give me heat with flavor and for me that's what cayenne pepper does i love cayenne pepper my voice i don't know what's going on i'm trying to read what to say an early american cookbooks a dash of cayenne was often added to a dish not so much for heat but rather to improve the overall flavor hmm this tip is essentially that is not that word this tip is especially worthwhile for low-fat low-sodium dishes use in place of paprika i sprinkle this on a lot of stuff too just to have that little bit of heat that little bit of extra flavor oh this expires in april that's by april 2021 this is december 2021. oh damn i'ma had to replace that damn it okay all right all right i'ma calm down black pepper i did not purchase the black pepper for the longest time from pinsies because there's pepper and justice but i found that i wanted extra pepper when i would do my homemade mashed potatoes and so i still put in the justice and then i would sprinkle the basil and then i sprinkle a little bit of the garlic powder and a teeny tiny bit of salt and then pepper and of course whatever you know margarine or butter that you use and so i went ahead and just got a full-size one of that how pensies curry the now curry it says and i know it's backwards when you're in because i do like curry flavor ingredients turmeric coriander cumin garlic black pepper fenugreek cayenne red pepper oh cayenne red pepper cinnamon fennel nutmeg white pepper cilantro cloves cardamom and ginger [Laughter] yeah bright fresh and gingery perfect for your curry needs pinsies curry combines fabulous curry flavor with our bright fresh vibrant ginger and garlic bits who doesn't like ginger and garlic bits who doesn't like this let me stop [Laughter] a touch more cumin a little less tomb rick not hot just a bit of zip we like bits and zip could be stopped all right see pansies y'all got me spanish style smoked paprika i also sprinkle this on almost anything i put my air fryer because it gives it a little more heat it gives it just a little more flavoring and it adds coloring to your food so it adds a lot of a little bit of stuff i should say it adds a little bit of a lot of stuff and so i find that i've been liking this i put almost everything in my airfryer uh so what is it it's just smoked paprika and it's really good awesome flavor and perfect color good on just about everything yeah sprinkling chicken and fish before cooking add to sauces soups and salad dressings and spain's smoked paprika is added to fish and tomato dishes and seafood and rice try some in any tomato sauce based dish or seafood recipe you'll see why smoked paprika belongs in every kitchen i should have did this video before i did my pensies gift card giveaway but anyway you'll find out so if you become a pensions ho let me know i'll be saying stuff that rhyme hey all right everything else in here are the one ounce this is sandwich sprinkle so it came in like a gift box gift box excuse me of like four things and sandwich sprinkle it just says something like you know just sprinkle it on sandwiches and so i have tried to figure out what the date looks like it says 2020 best buy september 2020. so this is gonna go into trash this is a jar you know what it didn't come in this jar it came in a sample packet sometimes when you order online they'll give you a sample of something and so i did purchase a couple of the jars just so it would look better and so i can close it versus trying to reclose a bag that's not zippable and so that expires my throat is away but i have used this on sandwiches like if you make something similar it's like a hoagie or you just make just a regular sandwich and sprinkle this on it so it does just give it some more flavor damn i'm gonna throw that away too and that other thing this one i have not opened yet jerk chicken and fish [Music] use one to two teaspoons per pound of chicken or fish the ingredient ginger ancho chili pepper brown sugar garlic paprika allspice lemongrass thyme nutmeg tullen cherry black pepper cool and cayenne pepper and jalapeno so if there's something you want to try but you're not sure look and see what their little gift boxes are because you get little ones like this and usually as i said there's four in a box recently for the holiday season they had some that were they were like eight in a box like nine in a box and so then if you like it then buy the full-size one and that's what happened with me with their seasoned salt because as i said i don't season stuff with salt because i put you know this other stuff on it and i realized that i liked it and i forget what i put it in but i was like oh this is good so this has sea salt spices including special extra bold black pepper paprika turmeric spice extractives containing something paprika black pepper celery rosemary thyme and it has sugar onion and garlic in it so just your basic seasoning salt but i can promise you i can promise you right now this will taste better than mccormick's or lowry's and i say that as an inner city person that we grew up on lowry's and then mccormick when she moved out of the inner city this right here yeah yeah yeah yeah i had a sample of the black pepper i put that in here and i like this so much as you see where did i put the black pepper that i ended up purchasing the full size one and this is almost gone well it wasn't full because the the sample is only um half an ounce this is a one ounce jar and i'm almost done cajun seasoning haven't opened it yet i'm so excited to use this stuff y'all would think that i really cook just the right amount of spice great for chicken fish and steak paprika salt celery sugar garlic black pepper onion oregano cayenne red pepper caraway dill turmeric cumin basil or basil bay leaf mace cardamom marjoram rosemary and thyme and i wasn't sure so that's why i got it in a box got the little ones in a box because then and i do think i'm like the jerks i like jamaican food i like island flavors and so i do really believe i'm like occasion and the jerk and my purpose in getting the small box was am i going to use the full jar within whenever it expires and this says it expires may 2023 so this will last me for a little while especially because i don't like cook all the time this is pizza seasoning i purchased this because it says great for pizza sauce pizza sausage or sprinkling on frozen pizza but lately i've been making pizza in my toaster oven you know you buy i think it's bobo is the the pre-made crust and then you just put your sauce on it your cheese your meats and this and that and then i'll sprinkle this on well first actually i'm gonna put a picture on my instagram because i put the the crust and then i put the sauce on it and then i sprinkle garlic powder justice cayenne pepper smoked paprika and what else and then i'll sprinkle this on there as well the pizza seasoning and then i put the cheese on it and then meat and then more cheese and then more meat so when you do your pizzas see put the seasonings on top of the sauce like don't put your meat and cheese and then put seasoning on top unless you want to because i want i want the flavor in there in in there but i have put this on frozen pizza and it did make it taste like it wasn't a frozen pizza not as good as the homemade one but it did make it taste better so that's why i got this and i'm really glad that i did and it has salt fennel seed oregano sugar garlic black pepper basil onion crushed red pepper and cayenne red pepper so actually because of most of these ingredients you might already have them or if you have some of this other stuff i already showed you you just sprinkle stuff on your on your sauce before you put the cheese and meat on your pizza this i haven't opened yet barbecue 3000 this is salt paprika black pepper nutmeg mustard allspice citric acid garlic powder ginger sage thyme white pepper cinnamon natural smoke flavoring this is going to be good and my new air fryer i did show it for vlogmas in one of those days my new air fryer does have a bake setting and a roast setting and so hey yeah i'm gonna be using this the future of barbecue is here rubbed two to three teaspoons per pound on ribs chicken fish steak or vegetables y'all just gonna be good when i made those ribs excuse me in my old airfryer which only fit like two ribs and i'm just like i want more than two ribs but anyway it was so good um i forget what seasons i used and that was my first time even like cooking ribs in my airfryer and i was like this is good so i was proud of myself for that this is granulated air dried shallots this is another thing that i put in my homemade my homemade mashed potatoes excuse me and that's all it is it's just granulated air dried shallots and so for someone like me who doesn't cook with fresh ingredients and instead of going out and buying like a thing of you know shallots or whatever this is the way to go granulated air dried because it lasts a long time this expires up wait a minute january 2022 best buy i didn't even open it yet what oh you know what i got me i got me i'm cool and so i purchased this because i do add onion powder shallots to stuff showers bring the flavor of simple joy to light chicken and fish dishes add sweet savory goodness to the most robust of vegetables and the most flavorful beef and pork dishes start with half a teaspoon per pound add one teaspoon and a pot of soup is amazing sprinkle on eggs we're going to do that sprinkle on salads as well so why i said i got me is because [Music] realizing that this is gonna expire before i opened it and i wish i would have realized it sooner because i would have gave this away to someone because now this whole thing what am i open and then dump it out and i'm gonna put this in there this is air dried shallots and so what's in here is this and i purchased the bag because i realized this was expiring soon but i still thought that i had opened it and tried it this expires may 2023 so i'm gonna dump this out and because it already has what it is i don't need to buy like another jar and then just print out a clear label to put on it and so i still have my granulated air dried shallots this where is it 42 3000 let me put that here in case you see this thing let me put that here i'm going to show you something all right this is a sample packet and usually not all the time but usually they'll send these samples of stuff this is a sample of the smoked spanish style paprika which i know that i like this expires june 2023 and because i have a large one this expires april 2023 i might give this away to someone because i already know i like it and i have the full-size one already but they do often send you samples which is great because then if you love it wait for selling and you buy it these two as i said came in a gift box and i know that they did because they came with cards and so for the cajun seasoning these are so helpful to people like me so for so for the cajun seasoning tasty tips for cajun seasoning strong spicy cajun seasoning is a true american classic so great for anything on the grill or under the broiler my new air fryer has a broil setting i love that thing brings the robust flavor of summer perfect for direct grilling of fish fillets chicken breasts steaks and burgers good al so good on green beans and cauliflower toss with cajun this and oil and roast i do have fresh cauliflower i cooked some of my air fryer the other day it was so good cajun burgers mix in ground beef two teaspoons per pound grill or pan fry sprinkle on pork loin with oil roast at 275 degrees fahrenheit toss vegetables with pan juices y'all just tell this is for people like me grilled salmon oh i can do oh i do have salmon in my freezer rub one pound fillet with olive oil and shake on one to two teaspoons of this place on medium hot grill skim side down cover and cook 15 minutes or so until done yeah this is for me and they have two recipes on the back one for cajun chicken and pasta and one for shrimp and pineapple kabob all i had today was two ounces of kefir and an amazing mango from boathouse farms so i'm hungry all right so the barbecue 3000 tasty tips for bbq 3000 barbecue sauce mixed in tomato sauce 2-3 teaspoons per cup or even add to your favorite sauce to make the flavor so much better brush chicken breasts or fish fillets with olive oil and this grill over medium high heat so flavorful on quick grilled or pan seared hamburgers shake it on or mix it in one teaspoon per pound toss one pound vegetables peppers onions mushrooms zucchini with one to two tablespoons oil and one to two teaspoons of this skewer or use a pan grow five minutes per side oh barbecue baked beans and it has a recipe for that down here how to do that and on the other side it has two recipes one for barbecue beef frozen one for chicken and bacon barbecue poppers so when you order a gift box and it comes with these each seasoning in the box will have a card on how you can use it so if you know someone who's a non-cook who cooks like me that would be perfect because they get seasonings they can try and they're told how they can use it so that's gonna be the end of this video i'm hungry if you've tried any of these seasonings if you've tried pinsies let me know which ones you love or give me suggestions to try um someone mentioned ginger as being one of their favorite spices and i'm like i don't think i'm actually i don't even have to think about it i've never cooked with ginger and so that's something i want to try and so i'm going to keep an eye out for a sell on that from pinsies or use one of my gift cards um and i'm going to do that and so you know how help patrol out here you know what i'm saying with my non-cooking semi wannabe cooking skills so i'm in this video thank you for watching let me know what you sometimes forget stuff i forgot to show you my vietnamese cinnamon and that's what this is i use this in my oatmeal and it is really good to me it tastes sweeter than like other types of cinnamon that i've had and i'm just making sure that it's not listing any other ingredients other than cinnamon so it says the rich i'm sorry it says the highest quality cinnamon available in america today strong flavorful and sweet ah yes it is it is sweet great for cinnamon rolls coffee cake when bacon used two-thirds of what the recipe calls for great for adding to coffee hot chocolate i don't drink coffee i may try this in hot chocolate i do have some hot chocolate mix and so this is really it for this video thanks guys
