Nebraska Fan REACTS TO BLOWOUT WIN VS UTEP | Raiola FOR HEISMAN | Husker Football Reaction

the Huskers have done it Nebraska begins their season 1 and0 after defeating UTEP at Memorial Stadium so today's video I'm going to go over my instant reaction what I saw today in Lincoln some key players for the Huskers in a preview at next week's game versus Colorado so really quick I am fired up after a Nebraska Victory if you are to hit that like button and hey if you're new to the channel off the bat I want to Pat myself on the back my score prediction was 41-10 pretty darn close and the team played very well started off with the big talking point Dylan riola and that's his F first ever game in a Nebraska uniform how would the true freshman have performed and oh my goodness was he phenomenal to say the least officially he threw 19 completions on 27 attempts 240 yards in two touchdowns and the thing I was most impressed with when it comes to Dylan Royal's game today was his improvisation right when the pocket would break down and he needs to go find somebody man was he just is great at keeping eyes downfield finding a guy like a nir Jamal Banks Thomas fedoni A lot of times we've seen Nebraska quarterbacks when the pocket breaks down they'll roll right and they'll look to run the football not Dylan Rola and he allows the Huskers to have a couple extra seconds in on the play to find an extra guy so that was the thing I was most impressed with he was very accurate today he had a couple balls there that were pretty questionable one should have been picked off but other than that again that was expected from a true freshman quarterback in his first game I'm not going to about that at all he settled in he played great he had some Patrick Mahomes moments that first touchdown pass to ISA n was phenomenal that back sh fball to Jamal Banks was great so he had an awesome day let's see what he has next week for his Colorado the running back situation was very interesting so basically it was a true running back by committee but we saw four running backs trade carries I've never seen that sometimes you'll see two running backs trade carries or three running backs we saw four get real rep State for the Huskers romir Johnson was the first guy to get a carry then Dante D then Emma Johnson that finally gave Irving God in the mix and honestly if I were to rank the four base number performance I'd say Evan Johnson was number one he averaged about nine yards per carry he was awesome today Dante D despite his fumble was number two he ran very hard had a bowling ball attitude to him um but he did not play after he fumbled that football it would have been interesting to see if he continued number three I put ramir he has that burst he has that speed and number four I'd say Gabe just because we didn't see enough of of Gabe Irving but I feel good about this running back room there's just not a guy there's just not a guy there that really really Wows you knocks your socks off hopefully one of these players can develop to do to be that as the year progresses talking about the wide receiver core man it was awesome today isai n of course had that touchdown catch he is so athletically gifted 64 runs a 44 and my goodness I mean he has a great run for the catchability again that just that agility to catch that football on the 10 yard line and somehow stay up and run in for a TD unbelievable right we saw Juke there we saw a little break broke broken tackle there so is had a good game Jamal Banks only had four catches for 61 yards um I wanted him to get involved a little bit more but he he had that touchdown catch which was awesome he just went up and got it again 50-50 balls aren't a thing when Jamal bangs is in the mix about 8020 so he had a good day Jan roner got involved a little bit one thing that was interesting about the receiver room though jayen Lloyd barely played for the Huskers interesting like he really I was trying to count his snaps I think he was in less than 10 times Malachi Coleman who was listed as available today not questioned while he wasn't on the injury report I don't believe was out there a single time I didn't see him um Alex bulock isaah Garcia C they were only out there for the last drive so interesting about that wide receiver room um but you know who looked good today jakori Barney man to see athletic and then I want to mention Carter Nelson before I end this segment Carter Nelson got involved today three catches for 21 yards he looked very athletic and this receiver core is deep talking about the offensive line real quick it was pretty hit or missed in today's performance Bryce benhard had a rough day had a I want to say it was a false start and then gave up a pressure on the very next snap but after then he played pretty well corkrin was clean for the most part benhart or not benart Ben Scott struggled a little bit um he had ler pressure on riola but other than that honestly pretty good performance from the offensive line for Nebraska um again nothing nothing crazy UTF only had one sack on the night but um pretty pretty good performance they need to have a better one against Colorado however let's talk about this defense because they only gave up seven points and that was on a deep touchdown pass Malcolm Herzog was in coverage we'll talk about that um as the week progresses but other than that they had a good day only 200 yards given up and I told you guys this if they could shut down the rushing attack it's over because EP does not have a good quarterback situation and they did just that really really good run stopping team and I know a lot of people were asking me they said Wilson we only had one sack what does that mean are we do we not have a good pass rushing unit and that point I'd say no we do have a good patch ring unit but UTEP did not have any long developing plays when they did pass the football it was just Dink and dunks across the middle or on the sideline again they just didn't have a play that the quarterback was in the pocket for more than two or three seconds so again not not really a big concern there that we didn't get them many sacks um but man the defense was good we forced two interceptions really good tackl Ling as a whole I thought the secondary tackled very well so I was impressed with that and then I want to talk about really quick my MVPs on offense and defense so the defensive MVP I predicted in my video two days ago that it would be Ty Robinson and I stand to that Ty Robinson is my MVP from today's game versus UTEP so I'll Pat myself on the back he was phenomenal my goodness he looked very athletic out there that's always been my big con about Tai is that I believe he put on too much weight initially as three technique and it really got rid of a lot of his athletic ability but he was just flying all around the field had a nice tfl he was disrupting um everything so Ty Robinson is my defensive MVP so I got that right I was wrong in my offensive MVP I thought it' be Jaye Lloyd he just didn't really get reps it's Isaiah n i d riy is the obvious pick I'd say but isai n was is so good he was the best receiver um today for the Huskers and I'm looking forward to his future so oh my goodness it feels good to be 1 and0 for the first time since 2019 and all eyes are on Colorado next week so that line right now Nebraska by seven I'd imagine it gets up to the double digits um by game time the it's the atmosphere is going to be loud today was all right I thought it was pretty loud at Lincoln but it's going to be unbelievable it's probably going to be the loudest card ever seen at Memorial Stadium next week so i' um implore you to go if not all good it's going to be awesome watching the game on television on NBC so we have a busy week talking about that Colorado game I have
