people start leaving no it was full of the end hey I don't know if you guys have saw this on television but they tried to storm the field the the students the students tried the storm the field a couple of them got on but they uh they got escorted off pretty quickly but man oh man big victory today they fill it really interesting huh let's see what's what's chat saying everybody yeah second rushing yards did they end with what 15 20 awful awful Colorado again we knew they were G to throw the football and we banged up shador I don't know if you guys saw this by the end of the shador was twice dowo played phenomenal um man he he had he had a really good day he had that nice hurl that was taken back because of a holding penalty which we'll get to we will get to um what else they okay um rir played pretty well had some Burse we really didn't see emit that much we didn't see Gabe gabee did not play one time at least not um at running back so that was very very odd wide receivers let's talk about them a n was awesome ramir was a great passing attack I he I think he led the team reception about six had that touchdown Which was miraculous you know from my perspective from my perspective in the North End Zone it looked like that ball was getting picked off orir somehow got that that was nuts um Bonner had a good day again he he didn't really do nothing flashy but you know what it was awesome I've been telling y'all about this guy since March jakori freaking Barney my goodness man jakori Barney was phenomenal um and he had he had a big play that was taken back because of a holding penalty again the holding the second half was awful just say let's just put it out there it wasn't just it wasn't just the the rest but Nebraska the offense looked out ofing um the defense honestly gave up again 10 points but that holding that holding penalty just killed us kill K us killed us killed us killed us killed us you could not have those holding penalties can not have those holding penalties and I again we can sit there talk about the refs and the refs again I I don't think the calls were great but again the holding penalties everything that went back rir had a big run that was gone wiped off the board but anyways this a celebration doesn't matter again we I can sit here complain about the second half it doesn't matter guys doesn't matter the first half we won couple plays later in the exact same position so riela I I think he struggled he settled in a little bit of course had that big almost touchdown uh pass believe that was t u but he was overthrowing a couple balls and I told you guys that was going to happen because this is the first real defense he's playing this is the first real defense he's played so he struggled a little bit um again yeah like says in chat he was still 2 for 27 like again the statistics weren't bad for Rola but there were a couple times where yeah I mean he looked like a freshman out there but he played good like I'm not gonna say here say struggle because he did it but there were times where yeah you wanted him to make that play but honestly the things that still impressed me about d r to this day his pocket presence was phenomenal right his ability to sling the ball 30 40 yards his accuracy when needed um by the way jakori Barney remember that one handed catch that Cory Barney had that was also taken back uh because of the penalty man jakori Barney was just phenomenal today Stefan what say zero turnovers yeah that was a highlight that was a highlight did Colorado Colorado have that pick uh that pick six did they have oh wait they had that fumb right at the end of the game so yeah Clive said students succeeded you left too soon get on there I don't did they fail did they fa I did leave too soon I the field and the PA announcer was screaming do not go on the field do not go on the field but yeah looks like apparently they were completely successful which is awesome um talking about storming the field like I talked about that yesterday like I I'm not a huge fan of doing it for this game but let let the guys have fun I'm okay with it new bill says where all the Colorado fans at exactly like it awesome and I've really never seen the refs do that in the fourth quarter where they they'll throw as many penalties as they did because usually these these refs are trying to go home but uh it was to stick around because his his um sons are gone after this year why would he stick around he's going to resign it's going to be a bad year in Boulder and they're going to be right back where they started which is they're you know they are inheriting no Talent they're probably GNA be inheriting a two- win ball club uh that's gonna be over for them so I I feel bad for colado fans but not really but not really because y'all talk y'all talk the talk you didn't walk the walk that's the way your team operates that's the way your team operates I mean Colorado was not even competitive in this game folks there was not a single time after the tunnel walk anybody in the stadium thought Colorado was going to win it was over from the get-go it was over from the get-go okay Nebraska was just this is the first time where again Nebraska team just looked like they were more talented they looked like they had better execution um and for that reason man we dominate we dominate are we about to be ranked says Willie it's a good question um personally I don't want to be ranked I I'd rather not be ranked because I want to work in the silence I don't I don't want the national media talking about us and they already are enough I'd rather hust and silence and then yeah they can they can rank us after we saw four and0 or five and0 let's just chill X right now I'm not one of those guys who gets gratification from being ranked from a weekly basis says Sanders should be benched for walking off the field before the game was over I did not see that see from my I I from our perspective it looked like he got injured I think he I think he's injured somebody said Big 12 refs were the I don't think it was big they 12 refs do you think we get any commits from this game yeah I'll talk about that over the next week do not be worried um we will I saw there I think Dawson Merritt man Michael Terry those are the two you're gonna want to watch out for but uh I need to get back in the game let's talk about the game itself so we talked about Rola I thought he played all right again he was 20 for 27 from the field nothing crazy right nothing crazy but um the defense the defense did exactly what they needed to do they get to the quarterback right away it doesn't matter if there's question marks in your secondary if your defensive line get to the quarterback in a half a second it does not matter that's exactly what they did like it was complete domination on every single snap Shor was falling to the ground he was mad it wasn't his fault sh actually didn't even play that it was simply that he his offensive line was worse than our defensive line and we dominated guys like Tai Tai was awesome Jamari was awesome you know who played the best in my opinion out of any single honestly play on the defense for Nebraska it was Prince wel we man Meen oh my goodness was he phenomenal give that young man his flowers because I told you guys this offseason even when MJ Sherman started at Jack over him I said I believe Prince well when Allon done the end of the year Prince well be that stter he played awesome he had a sack that was taken off the board because of a penalty but other than that man he was flying to the quarterback so give him your love everybody but the defense was awesome and not just this defensive line but Makai Bayer was great and unfortunately it was a BS targeting penalty that now he's kicked out of the game he's kicked out of the first half for Northern Iowa but Makai Bayer was awesome um John bolock had a big fourth down stop and in the secondary Tommy Hill pick six Isaac Gord had a couple key plays so I thought in general the defense stepped up wouldn't matter yeah they gave up a little bit in that second half um obviously that touchdown and that field goal that's just cuz they were on the field lot the offense was not doing favors guys the offense was doing them no favors but um that defense man was awesome but back to back to the offense again I thought the offensive line held their own like d riy had all day in the pocket for the most part I mean he had what I think one or two sacks Benard had a couple penalties on him again the only thing I was concerned about offensively was the second half just we had nothing going for us and the penalties on that second half because again the offensive line that just can't happen that cannot happen because if play a better team like Illinois or Ruckers and not necessarily better teams but if you play teams that are that have more talents or not okay that's that's not what I'm looking for they're better they're have better execution and they better discipline Colorado is not very disciplined so it's very easy to have holding penalties against Colorado and not have them affect you however if you play a team like ruers like Illinois that really do well and have good execution and will wait until you mess up that can be a struggle so we need to uh clean up up that those holding penalties because that was awful that was awful I mean we should have ran that football down the F that fourth quarter and went home but we did because we kept we kept having penalties guys and I could we could blame the refs sure refs were a little bit of an issue but uh at the end of the day it was our thought but again I don't want to really focus on the negative tonight we're two and0 we just beat our biggest rival Colorado after all the talk let's get active Everybody Let's Get Hype again it was it was crazy the atmosphere was nuts haven't never seen anything like it I'm not seen anything like it let's see people are saying people are saying my service is bad oh crap uh oh uhoh that the case guys is that the case I hopefully I it says I have full bars right now so I'm was it was an incredible game looking at the rest of the cult football today I'll take an 18-point win versus Colorado lots of teams struggling yeah I mean Oklahoma struggling against Houston I'm not sure how that game turned out Alabama was struggling against Florida I think they won um you know yeah there were a couple upsets Iowa one of my good buddies an Iowa fan I gave him uh some crap they lost to Iowa State today but uh yeah I mean we take care of business because that's what we are this is this is the new Nebraska football get used to this guys it feels weird to you know have a have a big victory to get a rival and not have to worry about getting upset it feels weird but this is supposed to be the norm guys it's going to be the norm from now on get used to this feeling it's a great feeling this is a great great great feeling okay we not just beat Colorado but it was never in the cards for them to win it wasn't even close Colorado did not even give us a scare this is the new Norm this is the new Norm get used to it guys because we're we're back I mean we're not obviously in the in the run for national championships but what I can promise you is that when we play good teams or at least competitive teams we're going to give them R our money and we're going to go up there and put up a close game so yeah it was it was a great showing for Nebraska great showing for the fan base I mean we deserve something like this we deserved a big win and we did miss that let's see let's see what the comment section is saying Nathan says it's a good it's a good time to be in Nebraska hey I also want to plug out uh what was my score prediction it was what 28 to 20 ended up being 28 to1 so again I don't I'm not I'm just on a roll these score predictions want a roll I mean sure I was 10 adamantly excited about this Victory like it was just a lot of we're walking back good victory like some of the old people or you know they weren't that excited like I I get it might not be excited for the old people who've seen the seen the wins in the past but this is huge for us young younger fans because we haven't seen stuff like this this is new to me this is new to me right so I'm G to take it and enjoy it every single time every single freaking time this is a great great win for the program great win for Matt Rule and this is as of right now Matt rule signature win at Nebraska this is his best win and uh guess what it's only going to get better folks it's only G to get better so Northern Iowa up next guys let's call what it is that's a dub that's a dub that's a dub we're gonna be three and0 and then uh conference play starts up I'm just I'm pumped I'm pumped everybody to beat Colorado to get that victory in the fashion that we did to dominate against a team that we hate the was not great I was questioning whether or not we should still have R in there like we were up you know three touchdowns and we probably should have kept him in but I was worried about it I was worried about it Ross's WD this defense was the real deal yeah I gotta trademark that phrase Ross the defense was awesome today everything again the first half let's just I'm let's the second half let's not even talk about the second half because we we know what happened again there were some issues but for the for the most part in the first half everything went right literally everything besides you know perhaps still R and missing an open Jay L in the end zone everything went right when could when could we say that in the past this defense was great and it's deep high mountain says it was easily the most important game on the schedule L of nuke the season exactly exctly exactly and it would have just nuked the fan base the fan base was so hype for this game it showed up in droves it didn't leave if you lost this game today people would start calling for Matt ru's head now luckily that didn't happen and it wasn't even close to happening so why even talk about it but uh we took care of bizes that again this is the expectation now guys get used to this get used to this feeling this get used to this feeling this guy says hold up diman Colorado had one good season over the last TW one good season over the last 20 years why would he even bring attention to that I'm not sure what we talking about my bad Tyson was L on the field versus Michigan but Colorado number two the loudest again that's Tai's opinion I was at both of those games I was at both those games I remember the Michigan game well I was very upset very upset but I think the Colorado game us louder and I will say this if Colorado was not louder than Michigan it was at least more consistent like people who were allowed in the first quarter were allowed in the second quarter third quarter fourth quarter every single snap that car had on offense it was loud I've never been in a game where it's like that ever I'm not going to be able to sleep tonight so jacked up yeah it was incredible man I I don't know how I'm gonna go to sleep tonight either I don't know either it was awesome it was awesome MJ says openfield tackling was tremendous very little um R for catch yeah I agree jakori Barney was the biggest proponent of that jakori Barney my goodness again can that kid fly can that kid fly can Isaiah fly yeah we we had a lot of Run for the catch and then or I mean that's for us on offense but on defense our open field tackling like you mentioned was phenomenal again our secondary they can all tackle Maris buer could tackle Tommy Hill can tackle Isaac gford can tackle for that reason when you have a wide receiver like Colorado's good out open space you can bring him down the first time that is an underrated part of this defense guys very underrated I really believe that the super conservative play in the second half was by Design preserve your players I I wouldn't even call it conservative it was just poor execution like okay we had the ball to start the fir second half and it was a three andout and then the exact same H thing happened on our second possession we just had poor execution and poor play calling to be honest with you but again I don't want to talk about the second half because we dominated today despite the second half we dominated Rory says IA lost and Husker WN the same day wow what a day Nebraska had a great first half against k but the second half yeah you're right and again it was a rough show man but at the exact same time like we got we got stuff to clean up and that was one thing that I didn't want to worry about was a bunch of these holding penalties and they killed us Bryce benhard struggled Turner corkran struggled we had a couple wide receivers commit holding penalties you've got to clean that up with if you are going to play better teams yep Iowa lost Iowa State again I was not watching that game I I checked it I I know like Iowa was up 14-0 and I checked the score right before our game and Iowa Iowa State walked it off so they must have came back but congrats to our Cyclone Brethren over there we're not too fond of their program but we surely hate them less than the Hawkeyes buff record 4 and8 I could see it I could
