Nebraska EA College Football 25 RATING PREDICTIONS | Hot Takes & Analysis | Husker Football Reaction

Intro you've heard the hype the biggest offseason storyline this year has been the reemergence of the EA college football video game franchise and with good reason millions of fans are expected to buy this game within the next month so because of that we have a highly anticipated video on our hands I'm going to be going over my official predictions for Nebraska's player ratings inside the new game along with in-depth breakdowns Graphics bold takes and everything you could ask for so really quick before we dive into this jam-packed episode make sure to smash that like button I spent a lot of Nebraska recruiting Nebraska rumors I'm going to be posting a video about the Huskers every day this summer so please help me hit 4,000 by July but without further Ado let's jump right into it look at over Nebraska's player ratings in EA College ball 25 all right let's get this started with Raiola the quarterbacks for Nebraska first and before I start to break down these three individuals I'm going to run over my grading criteria what I'm using to rate these players now historically looking back on when EA is trying to rate each of their student athletes they look over two main forms of criteria number one their Statistics over the last couple seasons of course and then number two their's star rating coming out of high school so that's going to be at the Forefront of everything I'm doing here in my predictions video but that being said you see the quarterbacks on the screen let's start it off with the one on the left quarterback one for Nebraska true freshman Dylan riola now a lot of people might be thinking he should be higher than this 80 overall that seems low that is a very good rating for a true freshman despite the fact that he's a five star a lot of true freshman like you're about to see are in the 60s they're in the 70s only the best of the best can get up in the 80s at launch and that's why Dyan royola has an 80 overall let's go to his individual statistics real quick so again listed as an 80 overall you see that speed 83 but really what's going to hurt him is this awareness only a 7 73 overall and that's expected a lot of these true freshman quarterbacks will be dinged in the new game because again they're a freshman they're not used to college football yet they're not used to the speed of the game so a lot of these guys will have poor awareness ratings which really will drop their over all but the throw Power 96 throw accuracy for short and long very good so he's listed as an 80 overall at launch it should be noted as are with the rest of these ratings that this will be adjusted throughout the season so if Den Royal is balling out he'll go up a couple ratings but let's take it back to the other quarterbacks QBs here for Nebraska Hinrich harberg up next 69 overall and I think EA is really good at ding Hinrich when it comes to looking at his stats from last year he was graded as one of the worst starting quarterbacks in all of power five football let alone division one football um again going into his fourth year for the Corn Huskers I don't expect anything over 69 maybe even 70 overall and then looking at our third quarterback true freshman 66 overall Daniel kin that seems around the range for a guy that's about to red shirt again a lot of these true freshman they don't have very good ratings Dylan R he's different because he's going to be an instant impact player from day one so those are our quarterbacks let's take it to the next position looking at the running backs RBs now as you can see Gabe Irving I believe will be the highest rated running back in the game for Nebraska listed has an 83 overall EMT Johnson up next at 80 ramir Johnson at 77 and then you see at the bottom of the screen some of the other running backs in the mix now let's get this straight the way in which these are ordered so Gabe bvin number one EMT number two and so on that's not the way I predict the depth chart to actually shapee out if anything I think it'll be EMT Johnson number one Dante D number two but again you look at the statistics Gabe Irvin over the span of his career has been the best running back for Nebraska despite the fact that he's had a bunch of injuries Emma Johnson obviously had a really good year last year I think EA will give him credit for that and then rir Johnson really only boomed in 2021 looking at Dante datle there at the fourth spot 71 overall You could argue for him to be higher but he's in the same boat as a lot of these true freshman he's just barely produced in his career uh played in about five games for Oregon last year around 100 yards I could maybe see him get up to that 73 range but that seems really really accurate around 71 I don't think they're going to give uh much respect upon launch some other guys here Quinton IES 67 um second-year player and then Maurice mooka walkon that's got hyped up he'll be around 62 in the ratings so WRs let's take it to the wide receivers this is a really hyped up for position for Nebraska as well and this is spoiler alert the highest rated player on the roster for Nebraska will get to of course the other highly rated players at the end Jamal Banks 92 overall transfer coming in from Wake Forest coming off a 800 yard season on back-to-back years and a player that I've said in the past if he had better quarterback play with the Demon Deacons he would already be in the NFL that's how good of a prospect he is uh you can see that with his waiting that EA will grant him one of the best players in the ACC had a bunch of honors and yeah man he is going to be a stud if you are into playing video games you're going to want to throw a couple lobs to him up in the end zone because he'll come down with it next up Isaiah ner 81 overall so I was going back and forth on this if the game was going to rate him about two years ago he'd be up around that 87 range however if the game was going to rate him last year he'd probably around that be around that 77 range I'm going to give him a a happy medium around an 81 that's how talented he really is obviously in 2021 he had 1,000 yards with Wyoming transferred over to Texas got banged up hasn't produced since but you feel really good about his future I think EA will give him respect looking at that Wyoming season and he will have an 81 overall so looking at the next two a pair of sophomore wide receivers jayen Lloyd 78 overall Malik Coleman 76 overall again this just all comes down to Stats when EA was looking at these Nebraska player stats Jaylen Lloyd again he outproduced malach Coleman by couple hundred yards last year he'll get the slight nod but Malachy right behind him and by the way both of those players are going to have 955 plus speed in the game and then after that isaia Z excuse me Isaiah Garcia castanada at 72 Alex bulock at 69 um so a lot of really good receivers for Nebraska in this ball game a lot of speed a lot of height it'll be fun to throw the ball D Royal and have those guys down with it so I'm excited to play with these guys in the game but speaking of receiving threats let's take TEs it to the tight ends and now we have Thomas fedoni unquestioned tight end one going into this year Lista has an 81 overall now I think I was being a little bit generous when I gave Thomas vidoni an 81 I could see him get a little bit lower uh hasn't really produced in his career except for last year um but a guy who's super talented I know that when EA is looking at these um recruiting rankings and they saw the fact that he's a borderline f five star they're going to give him a nod here at an 81 overall Nate borer 72 again just a blocking tight end nothing more than that um and then Luke Linden Meyer walk on he'll be around a 63 so honestly the tight end debt for Nebraska it's a problem in real life it's a problem in the game you know if you're running a dynasty with Nebraska you probably don't want Thomas fedon to get injured because we do not have much depth in that position but OL let's take to the trenches the pipeline the most important position in both real life in in the video game and as you can see here there are some of the top rated players for the corner osers let's just go from left to right here on the starting o line starting off with the left tackle Teddy Brasa just barely gets in as an 80 overall another player who's battled with injuries throughout his career for the Corn Huskers but when he's been healthy he's played very well just sneak in at 80 Justin Evans jains will get the KN at of 76 a guy who I early expect by the time the season has ended he'll get up to an 80 maybe even an 83 just because of how much of a ceiling he has he's a great Prospect Ben Scott who's one of the better centers in all of college football is our highest rated o lineman it as an 85 Micah mizuka longtime starter for both the Baylor Bears and the Florida Gator list has an 83 Bryce benhardt there at right tackle who not the most favorite player of a lot of Nebraska fans man he had a great year last year give him a lot of respect he'll get in there as a 790 for ra so real quick this is not the starting five that I predict will actually roll out there game one you know when we play utap this is just what I think is going to be in the game the highest rated players at their positions let's take it to our depth there at the o line Turner corkran will be coming in at a 79 overall Teddy or excuse me Henry lussky at a 74 honestly a guy he probably deserves a little B better but they're not going to give him the nod there I guarantee it Jacob Hood At a 70 um again they're going to look at the recruiting rankings the fact that he was a four-star Prospect they'll give him a 70 and then some other younger players in here Gunner Gula 89 89 for Grant bricks the four star and then or excuse me not 89 68 68 and then 67 um for all three of those guys down there so all right that's the old line that rounds out the offense again just going back to the wide receivers here that is really the strength of this offense this going to be fun throwing to them with Dylan riola but with that being said let's take it over the defense to the dline first this DL is in my opinion the best unit on the team for Nebraska and it shows we have Ty Robinson here on the leth hand side the second best player in the game for Nebraska listed as an 88 overall going to be an absolute merer in the Run game he's going to come after your favorite running back um shed some blocks so really excited about Ty Robinson is a really big guy he's going to be a big player in the game as well speaking of big let's take it inside the line to Nash Hutu 85 overall nose tackle and yeah another guy that's just going to be a stone wall in the Run game might not have the best ratings when it comes to um being in that pass Pro trying to get after the quarterback but you're going to feel comfortable with him at the goal line shutting down uh your opposing team and there the last starter in the 335 for Nebraska it's going to be Cameron lenhard there on the right side of the line list has an 80 overall was one of the best true freshman Edge rushers in the country last year another player that I fully expect will get up in the rankings by the time the 2024 season is over so couple guys here on the bench Jamari Butler will be an as an 80 overall that's really good to have that as a depth piece reminder he led the team in Sachs last year um we have princewell manum listed as a 78 overall and then Riley vanoo as a 74 over overall so again really good depth there for this dline just like in real life and that'll be another unit that's very fun to play with let's take it to the LBs linebackers here and yeah this linebacker room honestly you see a lot of silver not the best when it comes to the ratings but you see one key figure Stefan Thompson there on the right hand side this is the third best player for Nebraska in this ball game in my opinion he'll be listed as an 87 overall uh yeah just a complete stud coming in for from Syracuse um a guy who was a four-year starter for them last year had around 50 tackles in 2021 he had about 80 tackles so one of the best linebackers in the country he'll get the nod here with the ratings but let's take it to some of the other guys in this linebacker court budha right here at a 78 overall commanding the inside um was second on the team of tackles last year for the Corn Huskers but really didn't produ until last year I think they'll probably bump up his rating maybe to an 80 by the time we get to the end of the year but this is is how it will start and then MJ Sherman honestly I think I might be being a little bit generous with a 79 overall looking at his stats they don't jump off the screen with at Georgia or at Nebraska last year was obviously a let down year for MJ Sherman but I think the hype alone will get him to the 79 John Bullock there listed as a 76 just a really good depth piece maai gar 74 and then Vincent Shavers the true freshman will clock in at a 70 and that will be your line linebacker core for Nebraska DBs so let's take it over to the secondary in the 335 and this will be fun starting off with our starting Corners we have Tommy Hill listed as an 82 overall coming off of a breakout year last year um was one of the better Corners in the Big 10 true man-to-man guy really good speed really good hands nothing really more you can say about Tommy Hill he's going to have another good year for the corn Oscars there on the other side you have blly Hill 78 overall again really good FCS transfer from St Francis I can see anywhere from 75 to 79 for him U we'll give him the benefit of the doubt and clock him as a 78 overall again taller cornerback list say about 63 let's take it to the safeties and this is really where this team thrives Malcolm hardzog one of the more productive members of the secondary the last two years will clock in at an 80 overall Marquez buur 81 overall and then Isaac gford who you know had a Tony white our defensive coordinator said that he might be the best player on this team period at an 85 overall at a Rover position and he's a guy is just going to be making plays in real life and on the field on defense so really feel comfortable about that secondary specifically the safety core and looking here at some of the depth pieces we have deshan Singleton 79 overall could see him get up in that 80 range Ethan Nation 7 four overall again coming off of his true freshman campaign uh they'll definitely give him a bump in the ratings up there about 74 75 Jeremiah Charles about a 70 overall man he's going to have about you know 97 98 speed in the game he will be fun to play with and then some other guys here we have Kobe Bretz Larry Tarver and then Roger gradney around uh the 60 plus range so that is the secondary and let's just Special Teams take it to the Special Teams I cannot forget about the Special Teams very important part of the video game along with real life and not some great ratings here but very reflective on how they performed last year Trish novano list has 70 overall uh really struggled last year for the corners to say the least but again I feel really comfortable about his kicking power in the game that's going to be 90 plus it's just that accuracy that's going to take a dip for him that's why the rating will be um around that 70s U Brian Bushi up next at a 75 now if you asked me last year what I would rate him in this game it' probably be around 85 but last year was horrendous for Brian busini um really regressed from his 2022 self we're hoping he can get back to that level um but for now he'll be at a 75 overall and then we have our Long Snapper Camden wcky one of the better Long Snapper recruits in the country U he will start for the first time this year for the Corn Huskers listed as a 67 overall so let's just take it to the top Analysis three players on this team from the Nebraska Jamal Banks 92 Tyler Robinson on the D line 88 and then Stefan Thompson linebacker 87 so those are all of my predictions for Nebraska's team in NCAA college football 25 super excited about this game dropping and it is going to be phenomenal to play it's going to be phenomenal uh just to be a part of you know going to Memorial Stadium you know seeing 990,000 virtually once again um can't wait to play this game get my hands on it so let me know Down Below in the comment section below do you agree with me
