extra point is good and every Point counts it's now a fourpoint lead in the fourth and it's caught from inside the 20 and here he comes bu just enough space to cross the 25 let's mark it at the 27 yd Line North Carolina state has it back in the offense headed to the field looking to go up top on first down throws for the ti in and he intercepts it I tell you what I don't know if I'm going to try him much more goodness gracious you can tell he's ready for what he's seeing second interception I would not throw near that guy anymore you might want to try the other side of the field and the offense back on the field ready to dial up ball play they'll run it they want to take their time here and this one will be stopped for No Gain well they've got the Le the defense just did their part getting a takeway so now if you're on offense you want to run the ball and take as much time as possible between snaps stay in bounds and let this clock tick away got stuffed on first down it's second and 10 Johnson wants to throw it finds the tight end I'll say this man in college football you see a lot of bad tackling you didn't see it right there that was an awesome job first off being there at the point of attack made the catch there was no doubt he was going down great job for pival moment perhaps even a decisive play coming on Third and three they'll try to get it through the air he makes the grab and this junior quarterback shows you why the scouts love that big arm of his boy the defense really needed to get off the field there and they just couldn't do it and it's a fresh set of downs man that hurts when you're trailing late in the ball game you need those stops and you get them to third down you get them to those critical points now they get the first down you don't have many left you better get aggressive to the ground with the back and he picked up the first down but he will remember the price he paid after that hit and the commodor want to pick up the tempo fast motion from the [Applause] offense to the a on first down he's got it on the Move touchdown Kors and they add six more to the board with that trip to the house they extend this lead and it looks as if they are going to make it two wins in a row and you know late in the games offenses sometimes get conservative when they got the lead and they got the ball I love this offense they were aggressive they got another score added to the lead now you're trying to Salt this game away looking for an alley from inside his own 20 good job by the coverage unit to put a stop to that return NC State sending the offense back onto the field well the good news about this drive Jesse it can't go worse than last time through a pick on the first play no it certainly can't I think one good way David to help your quarterback Turn the Page is just find him an easy completion here and let him get back the ball's free defense just cradling that fumble and securing it and he's brought down and this defense gets the ball back for its own defense uses a timeout quickly trying to get that ball back and preserve time for their offense line gets set first down [Applause] here comes the option and now in the pitch the ball's loose the D Scoops it up and everybody reverses field Oh by himself down the middle and he's got it and headed the other way and he goes into the end zone for the touchdown well they got the score they needed now they need to get the ball back and the question is there pressure when you have the lead right here to secure the ball and not give them another chance and if you're anticipating onside kick you better get your hands team out on the field you've gone through this and you've practiced these situations before but that oblong football Reese it bounces in funny ways we've seen crazy stuff happens in these situations I can't wait for this one he gets it in from the twoo conversion and now they Trail by only three they got the touchdown they needed now trailing by AI goal they'll line up for the onside kick not much drives more anxiety than waiting to see if the hands team can Corral the onside kick and they do Vander has the ball again and here comes that Commodore offense they come out with a field goal lead defense just got a stop now to capitalize David yeah keep the momentum going right defense did a great job oh no the ball popped out change things defense coming up with a huge fumble recovery oh and it's a hit like that that will absolutely light up the sideline light up the stadium change the momentum and help you win a football game because that hit is what caused that fumble wants to throw on first down he's moving out of the pocket he's taking the Deep shot and they won't be able to connect down field looking for a big time play well you know the defense felt freaked out on that one here in the fourth quarter and you're lined up against one of the fastest players in all of college football and they're taking a shot up top you just hold on tight and hope for the best and that time they were able to force an incompletion looking down the middle a strike downfield and he breaks into the open and he scoots out of bounds picks up the first down gets the clock stopped and now they're in business in plus territory man if defense I got to find a way to get some more pressure on the quarterback or disrupt their timing and their Rhythm I can't give them these big chunk plays through the air I got to be maybe a little bit more aggressive or do something a little bit different that's caught it's Rogers Well the certainly hasn't been a career day for the quarterback right he's thrown a couple of picks hasn't thrown for a ton of yards but his team is in position to win this game and they need him to make plays now a two-minute situation to pull this one out he's got the talent to do it let's find out what he does he's got it on the Run he is down at the one a terrific run after the throw and catch they pick up the first down on the drag route good job by the receiver knowing it was man coverage if he's looking he's booking he gave his quarterback the eyes right away that says hey I'm not stopping put it out in front of me I'm getting this first down linebackers trying to create confusion go straight ahead touchdown NC State and in the final moment they' taken the lead man I love this offense being able to run the football late in the game when it matters and punch it in for the touchdown and more importantly take the lead and the extra point is good and every Point counts it's now a fourpoint lead in the fourth they'll need to be very sound here limit this return and put this game in the hands of their defense to Salt it away the officials offer the deal and the coach accepts it they will take the penalty the offense set for a first down play looking to move it through the air now improvising he's going up top here late in the game makes a catch along the left sideline and that is a big pick up great job in this two-minute drill as he gets out of bounds keeping the clock on their side as they're trying to pull it out that big play has this defense reeling and now they'll snap it first and 10 from the 14 trying to cap this drive with the pass it's complete and that's where they'll Mark him but a very productive play and they'll move the chains the timeout stops the clock with 10 seconds to play so now the opportunity to take the lead with a first and goal here on the move's got down to the one yd line right on the doorstep of per they'll use the timeout 6 seconds left on the clock looking for just one more yard it's second and [Applause] goal he looks that one in nicely touchdown doors and inside a minute to go they've got the lead time out on the field and four ticks left to go man what a great job by this offense executing down the field using all of the clock being smart getting the Big Score late and I think that one should do it about to kick it away after scoring the touchdown looking for daylight from inside [Applause] he stopped the return right there and that will do it this one is in the book well with what we have here guys after all the early season outs these guys have put together a winning streak they sure have man they're just believing in themselves right now this is a completely different looking team than what we saw early in the year playing with so much more confidence and David when you start making plays you start stringing W's together that's obviously what happens everybody gets
