different generation but literally zero of my friend friends who are in long-term relationships don't go 50/50 I lived with the guy for 2 years I was engaged to the guy and we put everything in a split wise so yes at if we were going for drinks we wouldn't split the bill if we went for a meal we wouldn't split the bill one of us would pay 90% of the time it was him and then he'd put it in the split wise and then after a few months I'd settle it or we' we' try to even it out in some ways the same with bills when you live there frankly it's unrealistic in London for a household to only have one income for most people so most people are living off two incomes so it's might not be 50/50 but there are definitely two parties contributing this has absolutely nothing to do with your generation and everything to do with the fact that you live in a real world but you're talking to people who live on the internet okay this whole 50/50 stuff is dead it's boring because it's not real it only exists online in the real world we we have a cost of living crisis people can't afford to take care of two people you know if you make 80,000 you're taking care of two people now you only make 40,000 you've gone from being top 15 20% to barely scraping it if you make 40,000 in London you can afford a house a car and you're living paycheck to paycheck you're living paycheck to paycheck so all this provider talk and know this I don't go 50/50 okay fantastic well this is this is fun is labor just using George Orwell's 1984 as an instruction manual at this point for how to run the UK you might look at this and think wow that's great misogyny is bad but given the incredibly dystopian Crackdown on any freedom of expression in the United Kingdom in the past few weeks do you really trust that government to decide for you what misogyny even is interestingly this new pilot program to treat misogyny basically as domestic terrorism is trying to look at the causes of radicalization in young people clearly monitoring the extremist trends that gen Z or gen Zed has obviously been embracing in the past few years but hear me out is it at all possible that just maybe young people are realizing misogyny as extremism the UK government is going to crack down on those pushing harmful and hateful beliefs how long until saying men and women are different is a hateful belief how long until saying men are not women and women are not men is a hateful belief these people will do literally anything to put you in prison over your thoughts your beliefs your values at this point and in the last few weeks of the government cracking down on Christians on anybody criticizing the government on conservative leaning individuals I have a feeling cracking down on misogyny isn't really what they're after but hey what do I know she's right and look I've spoken about this on my channel before how liberal the UK is nauseatingly liberal the UK is and if cracking down the misogyny is on the agenda no problem go ahead that's great but it's who's going to be crashing down on misogyny and it's what's going to be viewed as misogyny you know these people will think criticizing a woman's actions is misogyny these are the same people who are actively arresting people for being offensive on Facebook not inciting violence not inciting hate just being offensive just giving offensive opinions on Facebook can land you in prison in the UK and when I see headlines like this it worries me because I have absolutely no faith in these people you know we recently had riots going on anti-immigration
