Minecraft Movie is CURSED...

so guys I'm not in the usual Studio I'm I'm in Spain as you can see in a in a hotel room but moang decide or Warner Brothers whoever decided to to do is decided to drop the Minecraft movie trailer whil I'm away and I've got to react to it also this is this is the view from my balcony as you can see it's I've seen sunnier days in Spain but but there you go and yeah I I still want to react to the trailer anyway I've heard there's like some interesting and and differing views on on it and uh and where it's going with it so we we shall see I mean the obviously the Sonic movies have been pretty successful the Mario moves have been successful will the Minecraft movie be a complete Meme and flop or will it be successful well let's let's see what the trailer has to say first I'm in an extremely Mak shift setup here I didn't really plan to record a video whilst I went away I'm only I'm only away for a week and yeah they do this so first uh first things at first everyone's kind of reacting to it and making videos on it I don't know if anybody's actually had a good reaction to it that's that's the first thing as far as the comments go I've commented and said please can come to the premier I feel like I'm a Minecraft YouTuber with a lot of subscribers I should be able to go to the premier I shouldn't any will say I'll be honest RT game might have to apologize to Minecraft sty mode like the way Minecraft sty mode did it seems like it might be a lot better than the way the movie is going to do it but anyway we'll we will see so let's watch it let's give it a chance so it begins as as you'd expect with a portal is that a portal okay first things first all right I'm just going to go back to this first shot this is like they' they've tried to make Minecraft look like real life if that makes sense like they've tried to make blocky terrain work I don't think it does first glance does it um looks bit like Green Hill own from Sonic at the at the first glance that's my first thing I'm like does blocky terrain look at the clouds yeah I'm not I'm not sure about but that you know that that's okay we can get past this let's let's continue I mean like obviously they've done this shot here to make like this is how epic the Minecraft world looks but it doesn't really look like a Minecraft world does it you know which I understand what they're trying to do and everything but anyway let's [Music] continue so they've come through that portal and entered these are the these the active right okay this is this is the memes straight away the Sheep the pink sheep of all things um it's it's pretty much everybody's thumbnail and it's absolutely like obviously they've made a Minecraft sheep and made it look like realistic but it looks so cursed I mean it is literally yeah I don't know what to say but it's it's not good like this this has be the first time that trying to make Minecraft look realistic like Minecraft is probably the worst graphics game ever that is really really popular still you know what I mean and to try and make it look realistic you're going to end up with weird stuff like this areen you like what is going on all right this is this is the first time that maybe the Minecraft movie should have been animated like the Mario movie you know Mario knew that there's no point trying to make it real life and realistic let's make an animated movie maybe that's what the Minecraft movie should be instead of trying to make it look like it could possibly be all real what the hell okay see look at this if this is if this is on its own without trying to look too realistic like these look all right actually to the you know the gas and the the piglins like I don't mind that to be honest they look they look realistic I'm not sure about their eyes being that evil but you know because I think they're not that evil all the time but I don't think they look too bad gas as well they look they look fine they look a little bit sad but that's they look like that in Minecraft so I'm okay with the gas the piglins flying through yeah that's all right let your imagination I mean the Minecraft text that's that's good that's fine the wolf I mean the silhouette of the wolf it looks okay but that's probably because we can't properly see the wolf I feel like like that shot itself if that that that's not that bad okay but yeah we can't we can't actually see the wolf properly it it might look terrible in real in real life well in reality let's have a look okay so wait they can do craftting let's have a look okay I don't know what he's just oh he's crafted some buckets or something I don't know if they are meant to be buckets but my big question is what is Jason M Mo wearing like who's he supposed to be like why is he wearing a pink top and him I don't have no idea anything you can dream about here you can make I mean is grabbing some wood I don't know I understand it's trying to be like Minecraft in real life I don't I don't think this is going to work I really I'm I'm watching this trailer and I do not think that the Minecraft movie is going to work which I think most people think that apart from the people who created it seem to think that maybe it's a good idea but I'm not sure it's going to work like that that's fine yeah like I say that's fine like that shot of the the piglins and stuff like it makes sense you know I mean it look it it it looks like it's animated and I think if if the whole thing looks animated and it was with animated characters like Steve and stuff I think that's all right yeah but the fact is it's obviously not that's meant to be real life isn't it so yeah I don't know a creeper he's behind you is that me to be the nether wait a second that's crazy and scary what's that in the background is it an Enderman it might be is it like the end it can't be the Ender Dragon the End Dragon be bigger than that the Ender Dragon should be in it though that would be cool wouldn't it and it's who are Jack Black I am Steve I like how they would just like give uh give him a this guy is such a toolbag I like how they would just like um give give him a a blue top and where where's it at yeah give him a blue top and he'll just look exactly like Steve W yeah that's that's that's exactly what you wanted what's going on here okay this guy is such a toolbag okay I mean that's a cool graphic I mean okay this is like trying to be funny I don't think it's that funny I I just feel like it doesn't it doesn't work it just doesn't it just doesn't work if an animation I think it works I think I think so but the fact that they're trying to make it to real life is a problem that is that is where Minecraft the Minecraft movies gone wrong hasn't it it's obviously I think as well very aimed at young kids I feel like like the jokes and stuff the art style makes it look like that even though it's not intentional I mean you look at at this are they trying to make it where's where's that where's that pink sheet like like are they trying to make it are they are they trying to make it like look like this way cuz Minecraft looks the way but also try to make it look funny a little bit or like too childish I don't know if they realize that a lot of Minecraft fans aren't all like four and five years old like you you're cuz I don't know let's be honest it's not going to look good and the thing is all right with the Sonic movie we we we had this situation you know where it took over the internet where Sonic originally looked like that and then they changed to actually look good and they took the feedback that all the community said cuz we were like you know we just take this and stuff and and you know now the Sonic the Sonic movie is was absolutely awesome and the big thing was because they actually made the design good instead of trying to be too realistic I feel like they've got the same issue with Minecraft I don't know exactly how they could redo it they obviously need some people who understand the game better instead of just being some corporate film company I feel like like the art team I feel like they they've tried to make it realistic but it just doesn't make sense really so that the I think the only way the Minecraft movie is a success is if they delay it and overhaul it really um and and like almost got to start again but I don't know how much work they've done to this point they might they might just carry on through but yeah it's I don't think it's going to do well I I mean I I could be wrong you know um but I personally I'm not a fan I'm not a fan of it so far but you know the jur is out on this one so yeah I just I'm just watching it the way through and I'm just thinking it just doesn't make sense just it just doesn't like I don't know don't look that excited let me know what you guys think I'm very interested to see I think I think the best the best part of me for the whole trailer is for me is this bit I think that looks so cool like seeing it like build up the Minecraft Sign but yeah I'm not I'm not sure that's that's that's my uh my opinions on it let me know what you guys think an interesting interesting thing is this going to make Minecraft more popular and stuff are people going to be more interested in Minecraft I don't know I think it puts Minecraft a bit more on like people's minds again because a lot of people obviously have watched it and interested in it uh of the trailer and want to see what it's like but yeah we'll we will see where this goes obviously they will have seen all this feedback but whether they actually they act on it like Paramount did with the Sonic movie we we will see we will see and now I'm going to go back to the sunshine of Spain or the Cloudy Sky SP you know what I mean
