🔴F1 LIVE - Dutch GP RACE - Commentary + Live Timing

radio check radio check loud and clear hopefully you guys can hear me ladies and gentlemen boys and girls welcome along to the Dutch Grand Prix we are 30 minutes away from going racing and we've got a lot of action on our hands today Lando nor starting from Pole Position Max with Sten at his home race in second place he's got three polls here in the previous three occasions and I think he'll be looking to get another win today we've got 72 laps of racing around here at zanor and um we've got a couple of things to go through of course Alex albor has been disqualified from qualifying and he'll be starting from the back of the pack after his floor upgrade uh was found to not comply with the FAA regulations I'll get into that a little bit more uh Logan Sergeant will be taking part in today's race the Williams mechanics have worked all night long they've basically got a new chassis on the car and rebuilt the entire car from scratch and Logan Sergeant will be D ding in that they it will not be using the upgraded components but it will still be a fully completely working Formula 1 car Kevin Magnuson will be starting from the Bit Lane that's why it says he is in the pits on the screen right now uh that is because um he is taking a few new engine components and that uh yeah and that's why he's starting from the bits um what else have we got to talk about um well we'll go through good evening everyone good evening good afternoon good morning depending on where you are in the world and um yeah hope you are ready for some brilliant brilliant racing today and um yeah we we're going to have a One-Stop strategy it does not look like we are going to have any sort of rain today but track temperatures is a little bit High we've got track temperatures up at 30° air temperature at 19° and the wind is still as strong as ever a Tailwind to turn number one very very easy to lock up and if you do lock up then you got flat spot and you might have to come in early into the pits but um something else that I do want to touch on Lewis Hamilton yesterday got a three Place grid penalty for impeding Sergio Perez on a qual lap uh I saw the replay and he was kind of on the racing line where Sergio Perez wanted to be and even though he may have been slightly off the racing line it was very very distracting and he was definitely in Sergio Perez's way so yeah he got a three Place grid penalty I think it was fair and uh he was he was moved from 12 position down into 15th but given the fact that Kevin Magnuson who was above him he started from the back of the pit Lane he's been promoted from 15th up into 14th so a three Place grid penalty but then a one place promotion because of Kevin Magnuson um oh and Alex Alon actually oh it's actually Alex Alon apologies um yeah one of the two drivers have promoted Lewis Hamilton up one one position um yeah all right what else have we got going on um all of the drivers have made their way to the grid that's how you can see them all on the grid now uh they've done their install laps they've got the tires on and everything the cars are all working fine and yeah they are in the pits and the only driver they're in the they're on the grid sorry the only driver in the pits is Kevin Magnuson and um let's we'll talk through all of the strategy options but it look does look like it will be a onetop race today starting the race on a set of soft tires and then going onto maybe the mediums maybe the hards depending on your sort of strategy what the tire wear is looking like what the temperature is looking like uh there's quite a few variables at play uh deciding the strategy today it's going to be very interesting we're going to see definitely a few undercut attempts here um if you can warm the hard tires up you're going to have a very very good shot of being able to pull off an undercut strategy uh if you can't warm up the hard tires then you're going to be struggling um well yeah we'll see we'll see who can who can warm them up properly who can't and uh track temperature is going to play a very big role in that as well um who's your favorite team and favorite driver uh my favorite driver is Sebastian vetal but of course he's no longer in Formula 1 and then um and my favorite team I don't really support any team I just support drivers and uh yeah so that is what it is F1 gamer there is going to be rain uh well I'll double check the forecast um but you know I'd like to be pleasantly surprised if it if it's saying it's going to rain then uh I will I'll be very pleased about that um let's see what else have we got yeah my weather forecast says no rain yeah I don't think it is raining I checked it earlier today um and does not look like there's any sort of rain but uh well you know there's no harm in checking again uh a couple more things folks do let me know who you think is going to win the race will Lando Norris bottle the start as he always does um you know Lon Norris has had a bit of a history of messing up his race starts so is he going to boss on another start is he going to mess up we'll have to wait and see but um yeah let's see I yeah there is no forecast for rain uh the chances of rain are 0% the FIA have also declared 0% chance of rain uh I still think the race is going to be very very exciting not either way and uh yeah we might as well go and talk about all of the all of the relevant news for all of the other teams while we get uh while we're waiting for the start of the Grand Prix so uh you know we'll go from the uh you know we'll start from the the middle I guess Pierre gazley in ninth position his teammate next year is going to be Jack Duan he is a Formula 2 driver right now and yeah it's going to be his rookie season next year joining the AL joining the Alpine team he is from the Alpine driver academy uh Alpine though they did mention that they did want to get Carlos SS they had discussions with him uh to try and get him into the team but the yeah they couldn't get Carlos SS into the team he did not want to join you know who knows why Carlos SS didn't decide to go with alpine but I do but maybe it had he probably talk talked with a couple of other drivers maybe with Oscar piash what the Alpine driver Academy was like um and maybe talk to Daniel Ricardo as well about what the inner sort of works of the Renault team was because of course the Alpine team is just the Renault team under a new name and uh probably gathered that he he didn't want to join that team so yeah science has gone to to Williams of course course and Jack Duan has been promoted from Formula 2 he's going to be joining Pierre gazley next year for um some racing yeah all right uh what else have we got talking about is Magnus retired uh no Magnuson starting from the pits he's not retired uh but next year he may retire because he you know it doesn't look like he's got a seat anywhere niik hulberg his teammate has been signed for Audi and both has seats one of them is going to Oliver B and the ones going to estan oon so Kevin magson looks like he's out of a seat for next year and there aren't all that many options remaining he could get the AI seat alongside Nico hulkenberg but I think B botas would probably be a better choice and um you know maybe Kevin magson will retire maybe he'll do some long you know endurance racing maybe some indie car um yeah we're not particularly sure what is uh going to happen with Kevin manon's Future Okay um um go Ricky you can outscore sonoda well that is uh that's that's the aim for Daniel Ricardo he has to outscore Dan Yuki sonoda uh significantly if he wants to keep his seat there has been a lot of talk will it it is confirmed Liam Lawson will be the replacement to Daniel Ricardo if he cannot deliver and um if Daniel Ricardo can deliver then he'll keep his seat so yeah Daniel Ricardo his AIM now is to beat his teammate probably by two three positions in every single qualifying session every single race um he is unfortunately behind CA by two places and I think it was more like three places before albon and Magnuson had their uh respective grid drops um yeah who do you think is going to win the race oh that is a well that's a tough thing to ask if I knew who was going to win the race and I was probably put a bet on it but I'm going to go with uh who should I say I'm going to say Max ver St is going to win this race um you know it's his home race he's got all of the fans here for him and uh I think maxen probably stands a pretty good chance of winning but that being said Oscar piastri you know he's waiting there in the in the shadows and maybe he'll have a good shot at it it's uh very very tough to say Fon gamer why is albor and kmag down the grid What penalty albon got disqualified yesterday his new floor upgrades they were breaking the FIA regulations and because of that he got disqualified from qualifying they changed the floor and now he's allowed to take part in the race um Kevin Magnuson he has got new engine components so Hass have decided that now was the right time to take some engine components uh take some fresh new engine components and he's going to be starting from the back of the pack all right uh what else have we got to talk about of course Aston Martin and Adrien Nei there has been a lot of rumors going around nothing has been conf confirmed as of yet but a lot of rumors about Adrian Nei going to Aston Martin potentially for a 400 million uh pound contract which is uh I think over three years but nonetheless £400 million is an enormous amount of money that Lawrence stroll is willing to throw at the Formula 1 team and specifically at Adrian Nei but you know if Adrian Nei can produce a championship winning car which he has shown time and time again he can um if he gets that control and Leadership um in Aston Martin and people look up to him follow his ideas and sort of you know accept what he wants to do with the car and let him do what he wants then Aston Martin could have a very very good car on their hands come the start of 2026 so who knows who knows what will happen all right uh I'm probably going to put up a little bit of text saying uh why why all of the grid positions and everything just so we don't get thousands of M messages in the chat asking for um asking why is KM mag at the back whatever and um yeah so let's run through the strategy options as well so I I said earlier start the race on the soft tires that's the quickest option according to pelli and then the you know and then this after your first Pit Stop which will most likely be your only pit stop in the unless there's a safety car uh it will be start the race on a set of soft tires then go onto the hard tires and go to the end of the race or start the race on a set of soft tires extend your first intint and then go on a set of mediums um or you could reverse it start the race on the hards then go on to the softs uh or your two-stop strategy soft medium soft that would be a two-stop but the issue with that is overtaking around the circuit is fairly difficult and you do also lose 21 and 1/2 seconds in the pit Lane in green flight conditions if there is a safety car you'll only lose 15 and 1/2 seconds so you gain 6 seconds under virtual safety car or safety car conditions but um yeah uh it's quite likely that it will just be a One-Stop race day that being said though there is a 67% chance of a safety car and a 67% chance of a virtual safety car as well so that's probably why um we could see you know we could see a two stop if there is any safety cars but we'll have to wait and uh we'll have to wait and see what happens and uh yeah all right Fon gamer do you have uh do you have the time to do the ticker audio suggestion now um no no I I totally forgot about that I was fixing a couple more issues with the with the stream uh last night so I yeah I forgot um yeah I'll probably get it done the the main issue is really um is that it sometimes depends and changing up all of these uh all of the sizes of stuff um means you know I'll I'll explain it later now is not the time um so yeah all right uh let me just put that up on the screen km mag has an engine penalty and albon got dsq from K okay so that explains the the why they're at the bottom of the pack um you know we've missed your commentary so good to be back well thank you folks uh very much is appreciated I've had a good summer break um you know did things on weekends went and see saw my friends and stuff and uh hung out and also sprayed my ankle in the process but hey ho it's it's a summer what you going to do about it and um yeah but I'm fine now and happy to be back doing some commentary we've got going to have some really really good racing today and cannot wait and you've also you know something that we've got to keep in mind here Carlos SS and LS Hamilton both of them are going to have to make their way through the pack today the Mercedes did look extremely quick is if you remember back to Q2 you know we had mer I think it was McLaren Mercedes McLaren Mercedes and then V stappen in the end of Q2 so yeah the Mercedes is a very quick car and I think in race pce as well they look even closer to McLaren than they did in qual so Hamilton's going to have a bit of a tough time up uh overtaking everyone because uh all of the pack is so so close together but we'll see how far far up he can get of course he'll have to overtake Lance stroll he have to overtake Fernando Alonzo which will always be a great battle to see if he's got to make his way up into towards the top five top six um yeah Fon gamer if you haven't talked about the rumors say Sergeant is about to be sacked and H might not be able to attend Italy because of court squabbles with Uka I think H will end up attending Italy I don't think that's going to affect much and uh Sergeant is set to be sacked oh yeah that's definitely well that's that's for sure but I didn't know who would replace Logan Sergeant that's the thing uh Sergeant did of course have a massive massive crash yesterday I don't know if you folks saw the replay but you should definitely check it out uh there was you know there was smoke and fire and everything um and essentially it was totally his fault as well he just just he drove off the edge of the curb and straight onto W wet grass and uh you know a Formula 1 car is not going to have grip on wet grass so it was kind of his fault but uh you know things happen and he's got uh he's got a lot of work to make up now and he's got to hopefully you know be ahead of his teammate he's starting ahead of his teammate now uh we'll see if albon can make the overtake on that um the risk of rain has been declared at 10% it was 0% earlier it's now 10% I would still not yeah I don't think it's going to be raining today but uh we'll keep that in mind of course the winds are still very very strong at zanor it's 1617 kilomet per hour wind in the southwesterly direction so the drivers are going to have a Tailwind into turn number one we may get a couple of lockups someone may even go bowling um but who knows who knows what will happen the rumors say Mick and Kimmy are in talks to repl Sergeant if sack interesting okay um well yeah I think Mick Schumaker could be a replacement for for half the season to be honest mck Schumaker he's part of the Mercedes team now he's a reserve driver at Mercedes so I think it's fine if he if he you know he could go to Williams compete for the second half of the Season alongside Alex albon maybe Kimmy Antonelli because I I know that Toto wolf is so you know adamant that he wants to get kimy Antonelli into the team so if you can give him maybe half a season of experience then that would be very very beneficial um but you know Kimmy Antonelli may just be the same as Logan sergeant and because he is a rookie he's much more likely to crash and that's the exact opposite of what Williams want because Williams want to save some money on the budget cap rather than spend all of it so um you know let's wait and see what happens and uh yeah all right uh folks if you haven't hit the like and uh now what I'm going to talk about is the drivers at the top of the pack of course we've got Lando Norris who is I think second in the conr standings right now he is quite a few points off Max for stappen if we look at it exactly Max for stappen is on 277 points Lando Norris is on 199 that's a 78 point gap between Max foren and Lando Norris with 10 races left of the season is a 78 Point Gap closable will Lando Norris be able to close that by the end of the season let me know what you guys think McLaren is quite definitely the quickest car at this point in time in the season um will red will be able to recover from that will red will be able to catch up once again or um yeah who knows is that 78 point gap closable for Lando Norris and then further down in the championship standing so we've got Charles lir who's only 20 points behind Lon Norris but the Ferrari is very very much struggling they've kind of been left in the dust from the upgrades from McLaren and the upgrades from Mercedes and Ferrari's upgrade package is coming next weekend in Monza maybe that'll bring them back into contention but for this weekend at least it does not look does look it does not look like Ferrari will be competing for any sort of Podium position um Sergio perz of course he's in fifth position that is a good recovery normally Sergio Paris is around about five positions behind vapman which is seventh place but this time only three places back um so he could could have a good shot of battling with George Russell potentially getting up onto the podium and just causing some problems for the McLarens because we know that the McLaren strategy strategy Department isn't the best they are uh you know they do make a couple of mistakes here and there and any sort of pressure that you can add or anything that you can sort of add to mix up the things um and just and sort of confuse and um out strategy the McLaren team that's going to help so Sergio Perez being there in fifth position if he can keep within 5 Seconds of piastri you know it could they could pull off a fake undercut strategy or something like that and uh just confuse the McLaren team because that's what Red Bull's got to do they've just got to reduce the number of points that McLaren can get they don't have to score all that many points because they have an advantage over uh McLaren they've just got to minimize the amount of points that McLaren gain on them every single race in the constructors so if we look at the constructors it's 408 points for Red Bull Racing 366 points for McLaren that is much uh that's a much smaller Gap and uh let's me see what what is that 40 uh uh I can't do the mass in my head but it's around about 40 points or so 40 uh oh yeah 42 points uh between McClaren and Red Bull so 42 points in 10 races that is definitely closable if Sergio Perez does not pick up the pace and the McLaren keep improving at the rate that they are we could see McLaren actually win the Constructor Championship this year so it's much more likely that McLaren win the constructors than Lando Norris winning the drivers but um only time will tell Will McLaren be able to prevent all of their mistakes you know it was very Lon Norris made a very big point about this in uh the interviews at the start of the at the start of the this weekend he was like it's very critical that the team learns from their mistakes and we don't make too many silly mistakes going forward because it's a it's a tight Championship battle between themselves and Red Bull and every single point matters at this point um so uh who knows who knows what will happen let's wait and see but yeah Red Bull Racing is lucky as McLaren and Mercedes have for each other that is very very true if Mercedes wasn't there uh in the past couple of weekends you know when George Russell um when sorry Lewis Hamilton won two races if those if the Mercedes weren't there and they were still struggling with their issues with the setup and whatnot then McLaren would be right there fighting Red Bull at this moment in time uh and Lando Norris as well could be competing for the driver's Championship but I think Red Bull are very thankful for the fact that Toto has uh brought this team together and now they're both squabbling amongst themselves and they're not gaining all too many points on the Red Bull team and they've just played the Dutch national Anthem now the question remains is will the Dutch national anthem be playing at the end of the race as well um all of the Dutch fans they are waving their Flags dressed up in Orange and it's Mercedes versus McLaren versus max that is a very good way to put it Ryan in the chat um yeah all right um here we go then we've already got 4,000 people tuned into the live stream that is spectacular we we're what we're 8 minutes away from the start of the race we've already got 4,000 people brilliant thank you everyone for tuning in very much is appreciated all right uh well we're getting very very close to the start of this Grand Prix uh I will have a look at uh which tires everyone has available and we'll see if we can predict what strategy drivers are going to do um so if we have a look at this none of the drivers in the top nine have a fresh set of soft eyes everyone will be starting the race on the a set of used soft tires if they decide to go for a uh starting the race on a soft tire strategy um and also nobody's got a um oh actually um everyone has got at least one set of used Medi uh fresh medium and at least one set of new hard Tire as well so yeah any and all strategies are possible it's very very uncertain what the drivers are going to do track temperature 28° it's pretty similar to what we had yesterday in qualifying so the soft tires they lose a lot of Life over the course of one lap one quality lap especially um so if the drivers do have a fresh set of stops like Carlos Heights will that's going to be a good big Advantage for him and he could probably get Pierre gazley and maybe even Lan sholl off the line because he's just going to have that extra pure grip Advantage um yeah also folks do let me know do you think M orando Norris is going to mess up his race start again and L the lead to Max for snapping we've seen this so many times Lando noris has started the race on uh from the pole position but then messed up his start and lost all of the hard work that he did in qualifying uh will this time will this occasion at the Dutch Grand Prix another be another one of those um only time will tell only in six minutes time will we find out um all right so I'm going to take you through a lap of the zanol circuit and then we are going to get underway for the form lap and then the formation lap and then of course the start of the race so um yeah well we've got the main start finish straight there is a DRS Zone down there the drivers reach around about 330 km an hour with the DRS flap open they'll probably reach 340 km an hour with a slipstream and DRS going into turn number one drivers break around about the 70 M Mark and then they they actually don't hit the Apex they actually take a bit of a wider line because the cber sort of helps them to carry the speed through the corner and because they can carry the speed through the corner they actually go quicker um so the drivers do that through turn number one turn number two is very much just a kink in the road and all you've got to do through turn number two is set up turn number three so you can get the best possible line through there turn number three has got enormous amounts of camber absolutely huge amounts of camber and the drivers take the outmost line possible uh the outside most line possible sorry and um they once again do that to carry as much speed as possible although it is a longer distance the driver still to take the outside line because it allows them to carry more speed through the corner then going through turn number four very important not to drive over wet grass as Logan Sergeant taught us yesterday um turn four and turn five just kinks in the road so is turn number six turn number seven is very very tricky it's a downhill Corner you've got to tap the brakes flick the car in into turn number seven and just hope the rear sticks really the rear is very easily sliding around at that point and also as I said earlier the wind is in a southwesterly direction that means at turn number seven the drivers are going to have a Tailwind going through there and uh that just makes even more likely for the rear of the car to just slip up a little bit and the driver to get a snap and go straight into the barriers there's gravel on the exit of nearly all of the corners here um only on the exit of turn number one there's a bit of an escape road so if you do lock up you can drive through the Escape road but you still will lose time turn number eight is a very tricky Corner once again it's like barain turn number 10 you've got to be turn you've got to be turning and breaking at the same time um turn number nine you hit that a that's where um Lewis Hamilton and Sergio Paris had that little incident uh with impeding each other and um but yeah the circuit's quite wide there so overtaking can be done through there but it's very very tricky because you can't actually get a good run through turn number seven and eight um turn number 10 it's just important to get a good exit out of there because you've got a DRS Zone coming up towards turn number 11 there is a we've seen quite a few lockups at turn number 11 um and drive is just going straight on there is gravel there so you could potentially get stuck uh but the drivers they can take the inside line pull off some overtaking at turn number 11 and then of course the penultimate Corner turn number 13 you've just got to get a good exit out of there turn number 14 there's a huge Banking and it's spectacular to watch if you can see the onboard cameras it is brilliant to see uh it very much just does look like a roller coaster and uh and then you you know you go back on onto the main straight DRS wide open and then you come across a line the lap is around about a 1 minute 11 in qual um but of course with a full race fuel and 110 kilograms of of fuel and what whatnot um the the lap times will be ever so slightly increased so that is the that's the tour of the xan vort circuit we're now 3 minutes away from going uh going some going racing and uh yeah all right I'm going to have a quick sip of water folks otherwise my throat is going to start hurting we got 7,000 people tuning to live stream that is spectacular and if you guys are uh do like the live stream and do like the commentary then be sure to hit the like button it helps out oh we've just got the tire information coming through this is brilliant okay um I'll take I'll drink some water later then but look at this everyone starting the race on the medium tires this is very very interesting because what this does it gives you the opportunity to uh go onto the hard tires if the tire wear is high or go onto the soft tires if the tire wear is bad so um or if the tire wear is low sorry so yeah it's a it's plli didn't even suggest this so if you look at the pll's recommend strategy they the only they have four options for strategy and they either say start on the soft tires or start on the hard tires they didn't even suggest starting on the mediums and that's what most of the grid have done so clearly plli does not so does not know uh what the grid knows but um all right sonoda Ricardo oh sonoda Hamilton and Bot starting the race on the softs and Kevin Magnuson starting the race on the hards everyone else is on the mediums so um the medium tires can do around about half Race distance a little bit more than half Race distance so it'll be around 30 laps or so before we get our first couple of pit stops for the hard Tire Runners for The Med for the soft tire oh sorry for the medium Tire Runners the soft tire Runners the drivers can only do uh between 20 to 30 laps so um they'll be coming into the pits earlier and um yeah all right how many places for kmx penalty he's starting from the pit Lane um Alex Alor got disqualified from qual so that's why he's starting in 19th position and Logan Sergeant his car has been rebuilt by The Williams mechanics overnight and that's why he's starting in 18th position um I'm going to have a very quick sip of water folks um and uh yeah we're about to go we're one minute away from the start of the formation lap this is fantastic right Okie does here we go then um let's get rid of this timer and we are getting underway for the formation lap very very shortly um yeah click X on that all right uh we'll have the radios coming through as well uh let me just get a quick refresh and hopefully the radios start working um yeah this is quite strange normally the radios do come through let me just sort that out okay we should have some team radios coming through when the drivers start the formation lap um yeah Okie does um let me know what your predictions are folks and there we go we've got still a little bit up in the air it depends on Tire degradation pelli have brought the hardest range the hardest tires of their range this weekend because um the banking puts a lot of load on the tires and because of that pelli have decided to play it safe and opt for the hardest tires of their uh of their compounds and um because of that we're we're having quite a few drivers start the race on medium tires rather than start the race on soft so um let's wait and see let's wait and see uh we're getting pretty close to 2,000 likes Lando Norris makes his way towards the start Finish Line and uh yeah Alex albon start makes it way through the final sector brilliant let's go racing boys let's go racing here we go then um we'll go from the bottom of the grid Kevin Magnuson he's starting from the pit Lane Alex albor Williams brought quite a few upgrades this weekend one of their upgrades broke the FIA regulations he got disqualified from qu he starts in 19th position Logan sergeant in 18th he had a massive crash in fb3 couldn't take part in qual uh both saers in 16th and 17th they'll be looking to make up some positions but the saas haven't had the best season so far es vanok on a bad quality from him yesterday losing out to his teammates significantly same for Lewis Hamilton and another three Place grid penalty came his way we've got Daniel Ricardo whose only job that for the rest of the 10 races this season is to beat his teammate and we've got niik hulkenberg up in 12th position he's really struggling in on Friday and Saturday hopefully he can prevent a couple of the lockups he was making and have a good race today soda in 11th uh Carlos SS in 10th position after getting knocked out in Q2 yesterday Pierre gazley in ninth both astons in seventh and eighth they've had a good recovery after their upgrades they brought in the Hungarian Grand Prix Charles L Clair up in sixth position Sergio perz making a good recovery from the start of the the second half of the Season George Russell in fourth piastri in third ven in second at his home race and then of course orando Norris in first position um on pole position is he going to have a good start we'll have to wait and see but it is lights out and away we go Lando Norris does he have a good start no once again Lando Norris a terrible start and Max V stappen is once again got ahead of him great start there from Max verstappen pastri takes the inside line at turn number three and loses the place to George Russell a terrible terrible idea and George Russell sweeps past him both McLaren's losing positions off the start Max foren is leading his home Grand Prix George Russell up into third position lur up one place Perez down one place and as they make their way through route towards turn number seven let's wait and see what happens but Lando Norris has done it again folks he's done it again and he's messed up his race start absolutely tragically and Vapin has to taken the lead of this race and he's already built out a second Gap is Max ven going to run away with this race we know the Red Bull isn't all that quick uh at this point in the season compared to the McLaren but look at that Gap it's already 1 second that is absolutely wild all right going into turn number turn number 11 and we've got Nik hulkenberg making a brilliant overtake on Yuki Snowden nicely done there from Nik hulkenberg and as we go now in towards turn number as we go down the start finish straight sorry Max was nappen leads the way he's just one second ahead of Lando Norris DRS will be enabled on this lap oh sorry on the following lap and we will have uh DRS helping out the drivers uh to stay within each other all right we've had um who's that we've got Pierre gazley just swooped around the outside of Fernando Alonzo and Alonzo there is absolutely nothing that he can do about it some really good racecraft from the Alpine driver Alpine were driving a tractor at the start of the season and here they are in seventh position Pierre gazi's overtaken Fernando Alonzo great driving from him DRS has been enabled and now Lando Norris all he's got to do is stay within 1 second of Max with tap and he's going to have a very very good shot at overtaking him coming down the main straight today um George Russell's dropped out of DRS of Lando Norris piastri is hot on his tail and V and Norris didn't get DRS on vapen Norris missed out on the DRS detection point he was more than a second behind and um oh that is uh very very unlucky we'll have to wait and see could that change the course of this race we have no idea we've got 177,000 people tuned into live stream and we're on lap number two folks that is spectacular if you haven't hit the like button be sure to do so we're getting pretty close to 2,000 likes and it would very much help out the channel also if we can hit the Subscribe Button as well um that' be spectacular we're getting pretty close to 990,000 subscribers but let's get back onto this race Max happen with a fastest lap of the race he goes ever so slightly quicker than Lando Norris on this previous lap and look at that Gap 1.4 seconds Lando Norris what are you doing you've got to catch up to the stpp and you've got to keep him within DRS range otherwise he's going to say see you later and he's going to win this race with you with you never ever seeing him again o all right uh what a turn of events honestly you could have predicted you could have predicted that Lando Norris is going to mess up his race start and ven's going to take the lead but um now all eyes are on oscar piastri versus George Russell they go they exit through turn number 10 Oscar P's got a great run he's got DRS Russell's got no DRS and he's gaining and I feel like as they make their way towards the start finish straight now Oscar pastri is going to have a mega mega chance of overtaking George so both drivers are on medium tires there's no sort of Tire difference there they're both two laps old and as they make their way onto the start finish straight the gap between pastri and Russell is 7/10 of a second past's DRS flap goes wide wide open and he's gaining he's in the slipstream on of George Russell but he's a little bit too far back on this occasion all right we've hit 2,000 likes that is brilliant it seems like we're going on for another record stream today last last weekend we had I think 30,000 35,000 people watching the stream we've already on 18,000 uh oh I think 4,000 a little bit too high let's put that to 3,000 um yeah all right here we go then uh we've already hit 89k as well all right Oscar piastri he's so close to George Russell every single time through the middle sector oh they've just said to pastri Strat 10 available Strat 10 Strat 10 for the Mercedes engine is the full send engine it's the full send engine mode where you can really really attack and uh Oscar piastri has got that available oh yes here we go then we're going to have a an overtaking opportunity into turn number one the Gap up ahead it is uh still one and a half seconds Lando Norris is keeping Max for stpp and honest but he's ideally got to reduce that 1.5 second Gap to 1 second so he can have the assistance of DRS all right um an piastri once again 610 back at the start the straight and he heads towards in he's gaining on Russell he's gaining but once again too far back and it's the same story as the previous lap even with Strat 10 available and him using it uh he's not able to keep up with George Russell down the Main Street maybe a little bit extra top speed boost from uh George Russell because he was running a lower downfall setup than Lewis Hamilton we saw that yesterday in qual uh Russell had much higher top speeds and was quicker down the straights than Hamilton was so yeah Russell may be a bit slippery in a straight line and a bit bit difficult to overtake uh the gap between Sergio Perez and Charles lcla is half a second as well we've got a three-way battle a four-way battle for third position but it is one long DRS train we'll see how that works out we're on lap number five of 72 further down the pack the drivers on the soft tires they will be struggling uh the soft tires tend to overheat quite a lot around here track temperature is 30° and um they're going to be struggling a lot in the middle sector the middle sector takes a lot of Life out these tires um so Hamilton Coda and botas are going to have to be wary of that that being said they did gain two positions off the race start with those soft tires so it has been to their advantage okay here we go then uh what else have we got going on um yeah oh a fastest third sector there from Oscar pastri that is a very very clear uh pastri with the with the DRS that's that's giving him a fastest third sector so we're going to see what he can do but um once again he was still too far back going into turn number one to get an overtake done that being said the gap between piastri and lur has opened up a bit there it's it's just gone over one second and lur dropped off the back of piastri and now that makes him much more susceptible to attack from Sergio Perez all right um if we have a look at the race start the analysis Max for stappen from 0 to 200 km an hour was 5.2 seconds Lando Norris was 5.6 seconds that's half a second Gap going from 0 to 200 km an hour and that's to do with the clutch settings the amount of traction that Lando Norris got off the race start and that's also to do with just the reaction time um but it was very very clear that Lon Norris got a bad race start and Max what happened was well ahead of him by the time they reached the breaking zone of the first Corner um yeah all right hello KZ nice to see you here um yeah we've had a quite an eventful rate start uh no dnfs no no sort of contact surprisingly um look at that perz a fastest third sector he's gained on Charles L cler quite significantly and once again piastri 710 back going through the first Corner compared to George Russell um yeah it's been quite difficult for him to gain uh gain up on uh on George Russell but I would like to point out the Gap up at the front all hope is not lost Max vapen is not running away with this race um one and a half seconds is the gap between vapen and Norris oh we've just got a replay here Kevin Magnus went very very deep and locked his breaks up going to turn one the h both H cars have been struggling we saw this in Friday practice and in Saturday both H cars have been struggling with enormous locking up hulkenberg came over the radio said oh I just just touched the curb and uh I just touched the brakes and the car locks up so um yeah I don't know it's um they're having some sort of issues there with the H Team okay um but yeah km mag right at the back of the pack again and he's going to be looking to overtake uh guano is there any chance for rain unfortunately no uh the chance for rain is 10% but if you look at the weather forecast on Google it's basically zero Row the fa just like to be a little bit cautious when they say uh when they say they're weather forecast so yeah all right pastri look at that Perri's dropped out of DRS range of George Russell 1.2 seconds is the gap now pastri who was attacking George Russell is now being attacked by Charles lur because um well that uh those Tire warar are really really going to work out now uh the the tires are going to wear out a lot sorry uh being stuck behind another driver uh you slide around a lot more and you end up losing quite a bit of pace o look at this first sector purple first sector from Lando Norris uh that is good um it looks like he might be trying to attack Max for stpp and let's keep an eye out on that um yeah all right Charles theair yeah he's got now DRS on Oscar past we'll wait and see what Charles lir can do we've got 20,000 people watching the live stream folks that is spectacular really is appreciated and if you guys are we're not too far off already so uh yeah Okie does uh we've got a bit of a battle Brewing here between Carlos sight and Pierre gazy gazi made a brilliant overtake on Carlo science towards the start of this race but science does have the faster car the Alpine is not all that quick in race trim so caros sence now he's attacking the back of Pierre gazi and we'll wait and see if he can make an overtake uh there's a bit of a train forming behind Fernando Alonzo as well he's in ninth position and there's stroll behind him hulkenberg behind him and Lewis Hamilton that's another thing this is the thing Hamilton he's on a set of soft tires here right so he's got the quicker tires compared to niik hulkenberg he's got the quicker car but still overtaking is so so tough he's only gained two positions since the start of the race we're on lap number nine and um yeah this circuit is proving very difficult to get an overtake done so let's wait and see let's wait and see what happens and what Hamilton can do as a McLaren fan I have several gripes with Lando the first is being his God awful race starts consist constantly forcing the team into outlandish strategies to save his race yeah uh I don't know what Lando needs honestly I've suggested this in previous streams what they need to do is get the 2022 car out because it's 2 years old they're allowed to do that and just give Lando Norris some start start of the race practice like race start practice at Silverstone like just to manage his clutch settings and things like that but um I don't know they just haven't done that Hamilton Hamilton comes over the radio saying I'm too slow on the straights and that's exactly what we saw yesterday uh Russell was way way quicker than Hamilton on the straights we've got Carlos SS still attacking Pierre gazley here uh that being said Hamilton saying I'm too slow on the Straits but manages to get an overtake done on niik hulkenberg which is a good thing but um yeah he probably had to use quite a bit of of overtake button to get that done if he slowed down the straights caros SCI is taking a bunch of different lines here trying to overtake P gazi get in in his mirrors get a bit in his mind and force a mistake this is one of those circuits where you can't just send a dive B dive bomb in using a bit of DRS you've really got to force the driver to make a mistake take some different lines and um distract them essentially uh so you can gain a bit of time they can lose a bit of time and you can get an overtake done there half a second is the gap between s and gazi as they go into turn number 11 this has been one of the closest that it's been but SC you can see his car squirming around for grip there on the exit of turn number 12 and uh that's the problem in these sort of in these conditions when you're right on the tail of another car your tires are overheating your brakes are overheating and everything starts warming up and you start sliding But Here Comes Carlos Knights down the inside he goes of Pierre gazi can gazi hold it around the outside yes he can there side by side going towards turn number two who's going to come out ahead and we've got SS on the outside gazi on the inside and SCS squeezes gazi out but that was some very very fair hard and safe racing and I'm going to say a solid solid overtake there from Carlos s he managed to get ahead of Pi gassi they were side by side going through turn number two and some brilliant brilliant uh driving from the both of them great overtake from Carlos now he's got four seconds to catch up to to Charles to Sergio Perez and uh the team radio message to Charles the cler that is they are on plan a plan a for Charles the clur so Ferrari going for the strategy that they decided with and seems to be all going well they are L clur 8/10 off the back of Oscar pastry and yeah pastri still yet to get within DRS range of George Russell but that's the the racing and the overtaking between um SS and gazley was fantastic all right here we go then uh we're on lap number 12 of 72 the soft tires are now starting to get worse than the mediums the soft tires previously you know were the quicker tires compared to the mediums but as you reach lap number 10 and 11 that's when the degradation switches over and the soft ties actually become slower because they've worn out a lot more than the mediums um yeah do you think Lando will lead and or win the race today well I think Lando may lead the race if the snapping comes into the pits early I don't know about winning the race though McLaren will have to pull off a bit of an interesting strategy here um the medium tires can go around about to lap number 36 that's halfway to the through the race they can go out on the medium tires so if they pit a little bit before lap number 36 Lando can go on go out on a set of hard tires put in some really really quick laps in clean air and um maybe undercut Max for stappen um but then Max foren could go long come out on a set of soft tires and then try to overtake lonari so it's a very tough tough thing to tough call to make um we'll have to wait and see past's just been asked over the radio thoughts on plan a versus Plan B and pastri has said plan a so pastri and L both drivers in fourth and fifth position looking to go on their initial plans all right uh the gap between Lando Norris and Max ver stappen it's down to 9/10 of a second oh he's just missed out on the DRS going down the main straight though um but Norris has been attacking on the previous lap 3/10 of a second quicker than maxen so um I think Norris is getting close now to get get within DRS range and have an opportunity to overtake here uh let's wait and see as they go towards turn number seven now uh he's going to he's going to be struggling for a rear grip we saw this with Carlos S as the drivers go through turn number seven the Tailwind is still as strong as ever 20 kilom per hour of a Tailwind albor the first driver to dive into the pits he comes out on a set of hard tires he's run 12 laps on the mediums the hards can go towards the end of this race race we know albon can pull off one of those strategies where you just conserve the tires from start to finish he's got 60 laps to do on a set of hard tires and we could see him actually go up into the points there um if this strategy works out for him so we'll have to wait and see about that but Lando Norris look at that Gap the Gap is 1 second oh the the this data is just Frozen there uh there we go all right it's fixed itself hopefully no no issues today we've had a couple of issues on Friday but everything seems to be going smoothly and has Lando Norris got the DRS as he goes down the main stet once again he's gaining on Max tap and he's within a second but he doesn't have DRS because at the detection point he was more than one second back um so yeah Norris has got to use some overtake button before he gets within DRS otherwise he might be um wearing his tires out for no reason whatsoever Okie does um what else have we got to do um oh we're getting pretty close to 3,000 likes as well folks if you are enjoying the coverage be sure to hit the like button very much would be appreciated um and here comes Lando Norris now still firmly within DRS range here and uh maxen comes over the ra saying the car doesn't turn at all at turn number 10 they go through turn number 10 now Max was Sten taking a bit of a wide line because the car isn't turning and Lando Norris does he have DRS on this occasion uh no he does not once again Norris not within the detection point of DRS he's chasing down Max for stappen for first place but he needs DRS assistance and I think as he goes past the detection Point again he's still out of that DRS range very very unlucky uh I I would have thought he's definitely in DRS range maybe there's a glitch in the data um but no D and Lando Norris is not opening DRS and all of the drivers behind him are well not all of them but the drivers that are within the second so yeah lur still attacking Oscar piash here Perez has dropped off the back of lur and it's now a twoh horse race for for fourth place lur versus p uh pastri we'll have to wait and see what happens there um and yeah vapen still complaining of issues at turn number 10 yeah he was in DRS for for a second L like 710 yeah he was he has 710 between uh between himself and ven but still didn't get DRS I'm not sure what's going on there um but I don't know exactly where the detection point is that's the problem oh we've got a couple more drivers diving into the pits hulkenberg and sonoda are into the pit Lane and what tires do they come out on sonoda started the race out on the softs and he comes out on a set of medium tires hulkenberg started the race on the mediums he comes out on a set of hard tires all right wow we've hit 3,000 likes that is spectacular I guess it's straight up to 4,000 maybe even 5,000 um but all right here comes Lando Norris 1.022 seconds is the gap he's still not within the DRS of Max V Tappen and I feel like he's just getting more and more unlucky as time goes on lur once again on P's tail but he's 710 behind at the start of the straight and we we've seen this time and time again between SS and gazley between per pastri and Russell if you're 710 back at the start of the straight you're not close enough to get the overtake done um yeah all right we've got a battle between Hamilton and Alonzo oh you love to see it folks Hamilton versus Alonzo they going to turn number one side by side they are and who gets out ahead Alonzo on the outside line Hamilton on the inside line and Hamilton pulls off that overtake in the quicker Mercedes car gets ahead of Fernando Alonzo Hamilton up five positions on 15 lap old soft tires those soft tires really doing a lot of hard work there for Lewis Hamilton he gets a bit of a pace advantage over the medium Tire Runners because he's done such good Tire conservation and um and yeah up into Ninth Place five positions gained for Lewis Hamilton a solid job there uh and credit is where credit you know credit given where credit is due and Hamilton's done a good job Alonzo's decided not to battle this one too hard he just let Hamilton go around the outside it is what it is um hopefully we'll see some more battling and finally Lando Norris has got some DRS 710 is the gap between himself and ven 610 is a gap at the start of the straight uh and he's gaining quite rapidly in fact on Max ven going into turn one ven goes defensive Norris goes round the outside what's going to happen here ven taking the right line and going defensive it was a good idea um and there's nothing that Lando Norris can do but it was a good very very good there um good defensive driving from Max rapen but he he's firmly and he is very very aware that the McLaren is behind him and the McLaren is quicker and he's got to do his absolute best to defend against him now um so let's wait and see what happens let's wait and see six uh 610 is the gap as they go down towards turn number eight he's going to have DRS once again through turn number 10 that's going to help him out and if you can just stay within max foren range and also not get too much of a bad exit through turn number 11 and 12 we saw science was struggling a lot just trying to overtake Pierre gazley overtaking maxen is going to be a lot lot harder for Lando Norris so he's going to be careful on that throttle pedal not overheat the rears too much and get a good exit out of 11 and uh yeah he does so actually Gap is 610 of a second as he goes towards turn number 13 he's gaining half a second is the gap this could be opportunity for Lando Norris DRS flap is wide open and he comes down the main straight Lando ven's looking in his mirrors ven goes to the inside Norris goes even further to the inside and Norris has got the lead of this race he's on the inside V stappen can he hold it around the outside no he Cann not and the car squirms around a little bit and Lando Norris has taken the lead of this race on lap number 18 he lost it on lap number one at the first corner but on lap number 18 at the first Corner once again he has retaken that lead off Max for sta happen we are wow what an overtake and um vapen he's going to be fighting this back you you've got to remember ven is still within DRS range here of Lando Norris as they go through turn number eight turn number nine vapen is not giving up especially not at his home race we could see an undercut coming from Max V Sten sometime soon because he may have a gap let's have a look at the strategy window he's going to take him 20 seconds to come into the pits and he'll get he'll have a bit of Clean Air um but not all that much he's going to come out between Hamilton and Alonzo so um now probably isn't the optimal strategy uh to come into the pits but we'll wait and see what V stappen can do 710 is the gap uh as they come through turn number 13 and will verstappen be able to get DRS on Lon Norris yes he will but look at that Gap it's 9/10 of a second when Norris tried to overtake it was half a second the sten's not getting an overtake done on this lap but a great great overtake from Lando noris and we're going to have a lot more of this good racing coming on in the uh in the next couple of laps probably in the next int as well Charles lur getting close to overtaking piastri and um all right uh they've come over the radio to Lando Norris asking how are the tires they said I think okay mate they feel pretty reasonable I'm consistent so and they said so so Lando we think just plan a he might try an undercut but that's cool so McLaren have prepared for Max for happen's undercut and still they uh still they think that's the best strategy to continue on plan a so plan a is probably start continue on the medium tires switch onto the hards maybe uh depending on tire wear uh let's wait and see also a fastest lap of the race here from Alex albon he's on a set of hard tires and I did not notice when this happened but Alex albon has set a fastest lap of the race that is spectacular folks um yeah I have no idea where that has come from but nicely done props to Alon Norris goes quickest in the first sector trying to build out that Gap break the DRS to Max ven vapen once again has got DRS but he's a second back 9/10 back uh so I think one more lap of Lando Norris pushing if he has enough battery left in his car then that should be enough to break the DRS to the Dutchmen okay um Lewis Hamilton he's gaining now on Pierre gazley so that is uh that is very very good and 9/10 is the gap between himself and P gazi probably will get an overtake done as well um all right folks I do have to mention this uh just one time time but we may see a couple of undercuts coming uh coming sometime soon there Max for Tappen he has uh you know he's gone slower than his personal best he's 1.3 seconds behind Mando Norris and uh there's no sort of chance for him to make an overtake now I think strategy is going to have to come into play here before he um if he wants to get an overtake done on Lando Norris for his uh for a race win all right looking to the inside here we have got Lewis Hamilton trying to overtake Pierre gazley looks to the inside trying to force gazley into a mistake uh we'll have to wait and see but it seems very very similar to what Carlos SS was doing and um yeah and caros made the overtake on gazy a couple of laps ago so Hamilton should be fine as well they've come over the radius Lando Norris saying breaks are fine um and Lando Norris has said yes I think it was just the wind the wind is causing quite a big issue here the gusts are particularly strong 16 km per hour is the wind speed and um that causes quite a lot of you know instability in the cars if it's a crosswind if it's a Tailwind the drivers lose a lot of downforce so um yeah it's uh it's quite tricky to manage but these are the best drivers in the world so I'm sure they could I'm sure they'll they'll cope Okie does um what else have we got going on today um wow 27,000 people watching that is spectacular folks if you he's getting so so close to overtaking piai Pia to go defensive on this lap here um and lur within one tenth of a second he might even be able to send a move in towards turn number 11 no pastre probably made a mistake there he's caught up to Russell as well the Gap earlier was a lot bigger now it's only one 2 seconds and pastri is now closing up on Russell but L clur is closing up on piastri this is getting very very exciting leis Hamilton made the overtake oh sorry he tried to get the overtake done on pier gazley he was on the inside line but Pi gazi managed to swoop round the outside and hold position so it looks like those soft tires are finally coming to the end of their live 22 Laps on the soft tires that's about around about what barelli said you could do and then you should you're going to have to come into the pits um so yeah the soft tires they're they're work out um that they're wearing out sorry and Hamilton is probably going to have to come into the pits very very soon also that Gap up at the front folks it's 3 seconds Lando Norris is pushing very hard he was 410 quicker in the first sector alone he's purple in the first sector and um Max fappen has got a lot of work to do now if he's going to try and undercut Lando Norris if we look at the sort of Pit Stop window it's going to take 20 seconds out of your race time to come into the pits and ooh lur tries to go around the outside pastri kind of closes the door on him it was fair racing lur was too far back to get to you know be given space but um L clur is getting closer and closer uh vapens come over the radio saying that I can't go faster the car doesn't respond to my inputs uh so I think vapen will come into the pits sometime soon oh we've got Hamilton into the pits I think yeah Hamilton his soft tires did come to the end of their life he comes into the pits for a set of hard tires on lap number 24 he's got 49 laps left to go on those hard tires he should be able to make it the pellis uh should be fine for that and um yeah ven saying the car is not responding to his inputs I feel like what they're going to do is add a little bit of front Wing when he comes into the pits and give him a set of hard tires to go to the end of this race on Charles lur the car is squirming around this has now been the third lap in a row he's right on the tail of gazley uh not gazley sorry piastri and the rear his car on every single Corner exit just Twitches around ever so slightly and those rear tires are really overheating it's now or never for Charles lur to get an overtake done and lur decides uh never and he boxes into the pits those medium tires are done far too hot to race in and he comes into the pits what tires is he going to come out on what tires do Ferrari think is the right ones it is the hard tires yeah that seems like the reasonable Choice 48 laps left to go and he comes out on a set of s of hard tires oky does um so yeah if vapen comes into the pits now he's going to have a uh he's going to come out right around where gazley is uh so he's going to have a bit of Clean Air ahead of him if Pierre gazley comes into the pits and Hamilton look at that purple middle sector from him he's got DRS off sonoda and he is really really attacking uh he's already got ahead of Coda going down the main straight nicely done there from Lewis Hamilton on a fresh set of hard ties that probably that haven't even warmed up yet um but yeah he's got the overtake done on sonoda and he's got Nico hulkenberg ahead of him for now yes everyone will be doing a onstop it most likely will be a looking good for them with the purple sector from from Charles lir um pastri is going to be under a lot of pressure okay um Russell comes out of the pits he's on a set of hard tires and uh the top the top six are still yet to come into the pits okay oh yeah the light goal has been uh we've already hit the light goal as well all right 5,000 likes it is uh we're getting pretty close to 990,000 had a look at the numbers if piash comes into the pits he will come out behind Charles lur the undercut strategy has worked for Ferrari and lur is going to be coming out of the pits before um before Charles before Oscar piastri so an undercut Ferrari done a good strategy for once uh nicely done but of course McLaren have messed up maybe they're going for a bit of an overcut here um have the extra Tire Advantage when it comes to the end of the of the race because you've got to realize 46 Laps on a hard tires is not any small feet if you can reduce those 46 laps to maybe 38 laps you're going to have a massive Tire Advantage come the end of the race and then well you're going to just drive past everyone else it's as simple as that so I think that's the sort of strategy that McLaren are going for we've seen them do this at pre other race circuits say I think they did it the Hungarian Grand Prix they pulled off an overcut and um yeah I think that's going to I think that's the thing that they're going for today all right uh George Russell purple first sector from him look at this every single driver that comes out on a set of hard ties they go start setting purple sectors we've got Max roppen coming into the pits the box box for him and it's set of a hard ties for Max wapen as well all right are they changing the front Wing angle on his car um I cannot tell for sure but I think they did I think they did change the front Wing angle and they probably just increasing a little bit so max for Sten the car will respond to his inputs and hopefully can drive a little bit quicker um yeah all right then here we go fastest lap of the race from Charles cler quickly taken away by George Russell who goes half a second quicker Take a Bow George Russell how have you just done that I mean it's probably a higher engine mode but nonetheless a half a second quicker than L Clair's fastest lap uh that is brilliant and he's really chasing down lur now fresh tires the Mercedes is looking super quick and it seems like they've warmed up their tires a little bit better as well so let's wait and see the clur of course he does have gazy ahead of him that's going to help him out a little bit in terms of slipstream and um and yeah of course uh ven comes out just ahead of Pierre G he has a bit of clean a ahead of him so he can attack now and he can gain up a little bit of time that he lost on Lando Norris what does Lando Norris do he comes into the pits as well and Lando Norris is not getting under cut by Max V stappen and Norris into the pit Lane are they going to mess up the pit stop hopefully not the tires come off the tires go on and it is a it's a little bit of a slow pit up 3.1 seconds for Lando Norris but that should be good enough to keep him out ahead of Max vapen all right pastri is our new race leader he should be coming into the pit soon as well maybe they're going for a bit of an overcut strategy here um it will not be a two-stop race it will just be a One-Stop uh tire wear isn't all that high at this circuit the reason for the tire wear not being high is because pelli does have to bring very very hard tires to this circuit because of the fact that the uh the banking causes a lot of stress and strain on these tires and because they want to be safe they bring the hardest tires of their range and because of that we have less tire wear um this circuit isn't all that high speed it's only the bankingsales if you haven't subscribed then uh if we could get 100,000 by the end of the season we probably will by the end of the season that would be fantastic okay um and 990,000 people I think think that fills up the biggest football stadium in the UK or something which is uh crazy like 990,000 wow okay um yeah okay so let's get back to the coverage lap number 30 of 72 we're approaching the halfway point of this race and Lando Norris is in third position Pierre uh not Pierre uh Sergio Perez comes into the pit so 4.4 second stop for Sergio perz a little bit of a slow pit stop there um but he comes out on a set of hard tires as expected Ed and um let's wait and see fastest final sector for Lando Norris he's gaining uh there on Carlos SS and the gap between Norris and vasten 5.2 seconds so is vapen is he going to be able to catch up that 5.2 second Gap to land in Norris or is Norris going to run away with this race who knows number 11 breaked a lot later than Pi gassi gazi's tires are getting older and older 29 Laps on those medium tires and he is really struggling Okie does we've got Carlo SS into the picks box box uh Fon game 100,000 subscribers by the next race my bet well you know we we'll see we'll see if we can get 100,000 subscribers uh I think the most I've ever gained in a single day was 4,000 subscribers and that was the Belgian Grand Prix last uh last race so if we can gain 4,000 subscribers today that would be uh that put us on track to 100K by the end of next race uh Carlos kns 2.6 second pit stop for him he comes out in eighth position behind Fernando Alonzo and the overcut hasn't worked out all that well for him but is out ahead of Lewis Hamilton so that is one bonus for him and in fact actually it's it's worked out all right uh gazley and Alonzo still yet to pit so that should put caros SS up in what position is that seventh position so that's a pretty good going for Carlos SS Okie does why is piastri not boxing I think McLaren are going for a slightly alternative strategy if you just follow the same thing that everyone else is doing you're going to be stuck in an overtaking train but maybe they're waiting for a bit of slip up maybe they're waiting for a safety car maybe they are waiting for uh just a correct window for to pit P to pit pastre so he has a bit of clean air and can attack when he uh gets into gets into the rhythm of a new set of tires all right Sergio Perez overtook Fernando Alonzo nicely done there from Sergio Perez and Alonzo is under pressure from Carlos science he's been told over the ready to box box he's not going to fight it too much and he's going to come into the pits very very soon Max is still losing a lot of time in sector 1 yeah by the looks of it uh yeah he's a little bit slow in sector 1 compared to piastri compared to lur though same sector one time let's wait and see what he can do uh Lando Norris fastest lap of the race he goes nearly a full second faster than Russell's fastest lap of the race that is brilliant and some serious Pace there from Lando Norris in today's race a brilliant brilliant job um yeah wow okay uh behind valry botas um a very good strategy there from um from saber valry botas managing to Leap Frog his way up ahead of Fernando Alonzo but of course he has 16 lap older hard tires I think that's going to be a losing battle for the finished dri to keep Fernando Alonzo behind Okay um what else have we got going on uh if Oscar pits would Charles come out in front uh yeah Charles would come out in front if you uh if you look at the Gap column which is the one two 3 four fifth column from the left hand side if you add on 20 seconds to whatever whatever time it says for your your the driver that you're looking at that's where they're going to come out of the pit so for example Lando Norris he is 4 seconds back if you add 20 seconds to that that's 24 um so he will come out behind Russell but ahead of Perez that's how you that's how you work out these pit stop Windows um wow Bosch 5,000 likes I mean this this just keeps on going I mean I'm going to have to increase this to 7,000 so I loudly non-stop uh we're approaching the halfway point of this race Oscar piau dives into the pit Lane and he's going to come out in uh just ahead of Jo Sergio Perez I think all right 2.4 second pit stop for Oscar piastri he comes out of the pit Lane and he's just ahead of Sergio Perez right nicely done then for Oscar piastri he is um well actually it's not really all that nicely done he has got eight lap and nine laap fresher tires than Russell and lir but is that going to be enough to close up a 4se second Gap to Russell then overtake him and then close up another 4se second Gap to L clur and then overtake him that is going to be very very tough for Rashi to do he does have the faster car which will help him out but um nonetheless a very big challenge for pastri and McLaren have kind of put him on the back foot but the thing is it looks like he's being on the back foot at this current point in the race but as he um as he as the race progresses the tires get worse and worse and that eight laap difference in those tires is going to become bigger and bigger and that should help piastri out so by the end of this race I think piastri he's going to be fighting for our Podium position and and um yeah well we've got we've got half the race for him to catch up now half the race for him to catch up to Russell and then lur and make some get some overtakes done Okie does um we had Pierre gazi a little bit of a slow pit stop for him uh he was having quite a good race but that has uh yeah he kind of like maybe went into anti stall coming out of the pits I'm not sure exactly what happened um but he came out of the pits very very slowly and a sort of issue there for him so he's lost a bit of time McLaren's just faster that's what's wrong with Red Bull yeah McLaren are just do seem to be fast the combination of Lando Norris and Max vapen is quicker than the combination sorry the combination of Lando Norris and the McLaren is quicker than the combination of Max wippen and the Red Bull uh unsafe release from PI gazley that has been noted um oh that's why he didn't oh it wasn't an anti- stall thing it was um Pierre gazley just being released unsafely and that's why he crawled out the pit pits pit box um yeah Lando is really doing a fantastic job here folks 7.6 seconds is the lead that he has over Max for stappen and if you look at the lap times he was half a second quicker on that final on the previous lap and on the on this lap once again let's see what Lando let's see what ven's time is as he comes across the line and again half a second is the gap and look at that final sector I don't know where Lando Norris is gaining all of this time maybe he is using a bit of overtake button but he's 310 quicker in the final sector without DRS without slipstream but still goes purple um wow all right what is happening with Lewis Hamilton well uh Hamilton is three and a half seconds back from sight but he's he went for an undercut strategy of course you got to remember he uh he was on those soft tires at the start of this race that means he did have to pit early and his tires are in worse condition than Carlos s so it's going to be an upheld struggle for Lewis Hamilton to gain any more places than this he started the race in 14 position he's gained six positions up into eighth place but now the going is going to get very very tough because the drivers ahead of him they quick drivers in quick cars and yeah and Hamilton's got worse tires so let's wait and see all right we've got Daniel Ricardo that is ahead of valry botas trying to trying to keep valry botas behind botas is doing a fairly good job here but um but yeah Ricardo is defending nicely well enough all right uh folks I really would not appreciate the spam I'd really appreciate it if you didn't spam in the chat uh there's really no need um Norris is doing a fantastic job but you typing Lando in the chat does not help so yeah 8.6 seconds is the gap wow this is uh there's no further investigation on Pierre gazley for the unsafe release so gazley he's not getting any sort of penalty coming his way um but yeah a fastest lap of the race from Oscar pastri gazley uh is in 12th position and he could catch up he's definitely when Kevin Magnuson inevitably comes into the pits that should be fine um and albon albon actually fantastic driving from him folks if you guys remember earlier on in the race I did say albon he's going to have to do 60 Laps on a set of hard tires and so far albon's been doing a fantastic job he's one place away from the points when Kevin mson does come into the pits he will go up into the points and that's a fantastic recovery from um from Alex albor so uh yeah brilliant job brilliant brilliant job um and once again folks I'd like to say a Russell and uh he does also have a faster car than George Russell so he's using that to his advantage and I feel like we're going to get an overtake between piastri and Russell sometime soon at the start of this race o stroller has been given a 5-second Time penalty folks stroll with a 5sec Time penalty for speeding in the pit Lane uh not ideal there for Lance stroll and um Oscar piastri uh he tried to overtake George Russell at the start of this race but he struggled quite a bit uh and that was the fact that both drivers were on the same tires they were both on medium tires and they were both the same amount of laps old but we have got now Oscar piai on eight laap fresher tires than George Russell so that should make it a lot easier for piastri to get that move done and I think Russell will start will his rars will start sliding around a lot more as well Manson's gained 10 positions we need a shout out for km mag indeed he has but of course km mag hasn't come into the pits while everyone else has come into the pits um yeah he's the only T he's the only driver out on a set of hard ties so that explains why he's gained 10 places um Okie does what else have have we got to talk about um oh we've got a donation uh Shia has donated 179 rupees thank you for the thank you for the donation um buddy very much is appreciated thank you for helping out the channel and uh yeah so gazi and George Russell and Oscar piash round the outside goes Oscar pastri they're side by side going through turn number two piash what a move he swoops around the outside with such confidence and great driving there from pastri and Russell is already left in the dust look at that Gap 610 of a second and it's been three corners um yeah piash has just genuinely said see later mate there's no even B there's no battle between us and um yeah he's totally yeah he just yeah I don't know what to say it's just and see you later there's no sort of chance to to have an overtake there oh we've got a spectacular battle coming down the main straight albon in the lead of this race we've got Fernando Alonzo on the inside and there's five drivers in the space of 10 meters and and albon goes around the outside gazy goes around the outside of Alex albor what an overtake from Pierre gazy he's been doing some great racing here today he he had that Sensational overtake on SC another battle with SC as well and now around the outside of Alex albor Five drivers within the space of 10 car length that is brilliant to see and Alonzo is right on the tail of Alex albon now albon with 20 laap older hard tires this should be a fairly simple overtake for Fernando Alonzo but he's got to keep in mind Lan stroll is in his mirrors and behind Lance strol there's also Kevin Magnuson it is a five-wave battle oh did I say alon's in the lead of this race apologies for that albor was in the lead of that battle um yeah see that's why I'm not a professional comment where I'm a semi semi-professional amateur but um yeah Carlos SCI fastest lap of the race 710 behind uh Sergio perz he's going to be looking to close that Gap up and Oscar piastri the gap between himself and lur when he overtook Russell was 410 of a set was four full seconds now it's down to three and a half seconds uh piastri on the previous lap was nearly a full second quicker than Charles lir a sensational job from Oscar piash and it won't be long before he gets another overtake done Fernando down the inside of Alex albon uh going down the start finish straight and um yeah albon's albon's Tire strategy it was working but now um but well now it's clearly not working because his tires are really really wearing out and there's still 31 laps left of this race I think he's going to need a safety card to save him to be honest um yeah Okie does um Kevin Magnuson finally comes into the pits he did gain 10 positions overall but then he ended up with um yeah ended up coming out the pits and now he's got only gained one position overall uh not ideal whatsoever Kevin Magnuson lost four positions in the process in the course of one straight how has this happened here um that is uh very unfortunate there for Kevin M yeah and then he came into the pits after that so um okay I'm gonna have a quick sip of water uh we've got 30,000 people watching the live stream folks if you are enjoying then be sure to hit the like button Gap up at the front I haven't mentioned this for a while but Lando nois 10 full seconds ahead of Max with app and look at that that the stens at the start of the straight Norris is at turn number two absolutely enormous Gap and we could be seeing a Podium here for Charles the cler if he can hold off oscar pastri but pastri looks Unstoppable on the previous occasion once again 7/10 of a second quicker than Charles L Clair there's no stopping him now and um we'll wait and see when he overtakes Charles theair it's not a question of if he overtakes I think it's more of a question of when he overtakes uh Magnuson is on Fresh mediums and uh oh yeah Magnuson is on Fresh mins he got overtaken um by four drivers on down the main street that was before he came into the pits not after he came into the pits um yeah Okay so we've got um oh yeah Oscar had DRS because he was overtaking uh he was overtaking guano so you get DRS off blue flag drivers so if you're slapping someone you do get DRS off them uh so that's why piastri had DRS um all right what was I going to say Carla SS he's looking to overtake Sergio Perez on the previous occasion their lap times were fairly identical um but let's wait and see what Cara science can do the lap the tires both of them practically identical as well 13 lap old tires for Paris 12 lap old tires for science it's a question of pure pace and pure driver skill now um 8/10 is the gap as they come down the main straight 7 and a half half t as the flap as the DRS flap goes wide open and science is gaining and gaining but too far back on this occasion to get any sort of overtake done Red Bull has not been the same since Adrian new's left that is quite possibly the most accurate statement I have seen in quite a while um Adrian yui he was leading all of the all of the sort of development he was you know he was giving the oversight advice and all of these things to Red Bull uh being like this is what you should do this is probably the best way to go about doing things etc etc and um Adrian Nei has left and Red Bull's upgrade packages suddenly stopped working I don't think that is just a coincidence I think there is some direct correlation there all right um okay then 20 uh 29 laps remain we're on lap number 44 of 77 and we have got Lando Norris 11 seconds in the lead of this race uh VRI botas comes into the pits once again he's doing a second Pit Stop is of Aaj botas bit of an interesting choice there cod as well he's done two pit stops um a little bit odd but I guess if the hard tires wearing out then you've got no other choice than to come into the pits and uh yeah botas comes out on a set of what tires does he come out on a set of medium tires ADF on gamer what's wrong with Lewis uh I said this a couple of laps ago but Lewis he's got seven lap older tires than Carlos SS has and uh the and the Gap is seven is the gap is now 5 seconds so uh yeah with older tires and um and a probably a little bit of a faster car it's still uh a bit too difficult to overtake and even gain on Carlo science to be honest because science has now got DRS off Perez which helps him out a lot um so that's why Hamilton's struggling a bit he did have he was of course compromised right from the get-go because his he had that grid penalty and he also got eliminated in Q2 so yeah just a combination of factors and I don't think Hamilton's going to get anything higher than eighth position today all right um they they've come over the radio to Lando Norris saying the Gap to theen is 10 seconds under safety car conditions I think we would take a medium tire and then come out behind ver snapon and then overtake him once the pits are done um so once safety car is done so that's the strategy if there's a safety car as of now um we'll wait and see oh Carlos SS tries to go around the outside of Sergio Perez but once again Perez gets much better traction out of turn number two and Carlos SS cannot get that overtake done he's taking a couple of different lines at turn number three to try and keep with Sergio Perez but it's too far back too far back on this occasion science is getting closer and closer and also B here he's caught up to Charles lir it is game on now Sergio perz versus Carlos SS and Charles L Clair versus Oscar piash a battle for third place and a battle for sixth position all right here we go one Ferrari is trying to get an overtake done another Ferrari is about to get overtaken uh Ricardo gets a nice overtake done on Alex albon going into turn number one and once again yeah albon dropping back his tires are really really struggling now only done 33 laps of this race uh well he's done 33 laps of this race on a set of hard ties he's still got 26 left to go I feel like he will have to come in for a pit stop sometime soon piash he's gaining on Charles L Clair but once again at the start of the straight the Gap was 710 of a second so he was far too far back to get an overtake done can piai get ahead of llar I think he probably can but a little bit later on and now we've got the replay caros s swoops around the outside this time sence was on the outside and Perez was on the inside and the outside line is the way to go at turn number one because you do have the extra grip of all of the rubber that's deposited on the outside line and uh yeah you can just swoop around the outside and say see you later and caros has got the move done on Sergio Perez very very good and the driver ahead of him is uh three seconds ahead of him it's George Russell and George Russell has got five lap older tires than caros SS so Russell might be struggling here to keep caros SS behind we'll have to wait and see p asri once again he's got DRS here but lir is going to have to make a mistake or get blocked by traffic a little bit if he's going to find a way past but Carlos SS he's got an overtake done sixth position for him I think fifth position is on the cards for Carlos SS and for Oscar pastri third position is on the cards second place catching up to vapen might be a little bit too tough um yeah oh wow we're getting pretty close to 91,000 sub subscribers and uh we're getting they were pretty slow in qual uh but in race conditions they're doing great and Ferrari have got a enormous race pack package uh an upgrade package for Monza and it's of course Ferrari's home race I feel like Ferrari we could see two Ferraris on the podium at Monza next weekend um let's wait and see it all depends will Red Bull bring big upgrades will McLaren bring bring upgrades or will it just be Ferrari on their own at their home Grand Prix bringing some massive upgrades Hamilton's coming into the pits o we're going to have a two-stop strategy for Lewis Hamilton he started the race on the soft he's now done 24 Laps on the hard tires and there are 24 laps left of this race what tires is he coming in for it is another set of soft tires so Hamilton doing soft hard soft interesting Tire strategy there from Lewis Hamilton um yeah that's just the way things goes uh folks one second I'm just going to have to adjust the the the data on the screen so you can see all three pit stops uh all two pit stops but uh yeah just give me one second I'm just going to mute my mic all right there we go uh so you can see all of the pit stops the drivers that have done extra pit stops everyone else though um everyone else up until now has only done two pit stops uh and the only drivers that have uh oh wait the only drivers that have done two pit stops are Hamilton sonoda and Bot everyone else has only done one pit stop so far we'll wait and see what happens um yeah right um oh Max needs to someone says Max needs to pit and the Red Bull crew are waiting in the pit Lane with a set of soft tires and they decide to come back into the pits interesting interesting indeed um yeah so the Red Bull crew have uh they they were going to come out with a set of soft tires now they've decided that's not what they're going to do and they go back into the pit Lane with uh with their soft tires back into the tire warmers and yeah not on a car interesting choice from the Red Bull team I don't know why why they would go out on a set of softs now because if the snappin pits he comes out where does he come out uh he comes out in eighth position seventh position so that's not where you want to and then if Perez pits now he comes out in oh perz could piit for a set of soft tires and come out just ahead of Hamilton but why would you do that because yeah he Perez is now only two seconds behind science I'm not sure um could lur get second place I don't think he could get second the question is can he get third piash has been stuck behind him for quite a while now piu's tires are going to go off um if he stays within this DRS for too long now so if he stays within the DRS and we can you know observe what's going on with pastry's tires and his car is he squirming around a little bit is the card twitching about and yes it is um it is twitching out twitching around a little bit so is rear tires are overheating so he might have a bit of a tough call tough question to ask can he actually overtake lur or is he just going to be stuck behind him for a very very long time there's still of course 22 laps left of this race there's a whole lot that could happen you know we could see maybe Logan Sergeant go off and crash and then we could get a safety car uh it's a bit early to say well Norris comeing to the pit Lane probably not I think he's going to stay out in the lead of this race unless he builds a 20 second Gap to to ven which he currently is look at that the still uh still the previous lap he was 210 quicker than Max for stappen so who knows maybe he can build a 20 second Gap and then go out and come into and then come in for a fresh set of pits uh for fresh set tires one safety car could change everything indeed they could uh one of these back markers take P out um yeah M I don't think that's going to happen um the there aren't any back markers in fact ahead of him there's there's Aon and then there's Alon but they're quite a bit up the road um so let's wait and see it would be great news for Lewis Lewis is on a fresh set of softs now so if the safety guard does come out he doesn't have to come into the pits he's going to have really quick tires uh Hamilton's also got the fastest lap of the race as well um so that's pretty good all right um do you think Joe will improve from now um oh do you think Sergeant will improve from now uh I don't know uh there are talk there's rumors of him being sacked Midway through the season uh it's a bit tough to say to be honest so yeah I don't think he's improved all that much he probably has improved a bit but not noticeably um because he hasn't beat his teammate all that consistently so oh Norris oh okay never mind Norris is just overtaking a back marker apologies for that Norris is just overtake and stroll um but it's a back marker it's not an actual overtake um okay radio message to Russell said Hamilton has a small lockup so he's a pitted on soft oh okay right that explains it because oh yeah if you do have a little lockup then you're much more likely to get more lock ups because of that flat spot on your tire and you don't want to be RIS running that risk so Hamilton came into the pits Fon gamer do you know if anything is happening to Daniel Ricardo well as of now he is four positions ahead of Yuki sonoda which is a good thing but Coda is for some reason on a two-stop strategy which I have no idea why you would do that um so yeah I mean there's potential that Ricardo keeps his seat for next year there's potential that he doesn't it all depends on his results and how he does compared to his teammate all right [Music] um what else have we got going on not all that much really one sec let me let me just have a look at the lap times yeah ven still half a second slower than Lando Norris pretty much every single lap here and uh yeah Norris might even build out that 20 second Gap and then come into the pits I wonder if P made a mistake yeah maybe uh cuz he was trying to overtake lur earlier but the problem was he was within that sort of no man's land where you're at 710 behind the driver so you do have DRS but you're not close enough to get an overtake done and if you sit in that no man's land for too long your rear tires start overheating far too much you start sliding about you use your battery as well to keep up with the driver ahead of you and your battery gets depleted so I think what piastri is doing now given that his tires are now nine laps fresher than L clur all he's got to do is wait till the end of this race and then that nelap Gap is going to be absolutely enormous in terms of lap time and it should be a fairly straightforward overtake so you know pastry's got around about 10 laps or so to just recharge his battery cool down his tires and then he'll go start attacking Charles llar once again and it should make the overtake a whole lot easier um yeah Joe has been lapped twice he's just come into the pits now um so yeah it's really not looking good for Joe I don't know how he's ended up so far back um but yeah two pit stops and he's into uh he's two laps behind oh not I whatsoever folks if you haven't H the like button or subscribed be sure to Russell I think Russell may have had another lock up as well um but he's now pitted and he's lost a position to Perez I think it was yeah he's lost a position to Perez which is not ideal um and there's 18 second Gap now to Sergio perz so I don't think he's going to be able to catch up uh I think what they're just predicting is that peris's tires are going to run out as well and he's going to have to come into the pits that's all they're hoping for really yeah I guess they're going for an undercut but they're kind of hoping for the fact that there'll be another pit stop normally when you go for an undercut you know there will be another pit stop but Mercedes are kind of just hoping that there will be uh which is a little bit odd but you know hey ho Mercedes are pretty good at strategy so let's believe them also the Gap up at the front 15.4 seconds 15.5 seconds I think Lando Norr do domination could bore fans to be honest um yeah because uh how has he done that 15 seconds of Max just happen at his home Grand Prix wow um that is enormous Alonzo I mean Norris could come into the pits put on a set of soft tires and still overtake Max foren for the lead of this race that's how that's how much of an advantage that he's got which is uh crazy all right they've come over the radio to Oscar piastri uh saying how is the tire now pastri said it's not amazing but I'll make it to the end of the race and uh he's now 1.1 seconds behind Charles lir I think he's back on the attack his his car has been recharged uh his tires are cooled down and he's going to try and attack Charles lur once again for that final Podium position Okie does right L clur is cooked yeah well I don't know pastri is uh pastri is gaining on him and he's got a lot fresher tires so lur should be cooked but L cler can also put up a pretty good defensive Drive uh to the end of this race has 16 laps left it's not you know you got to defend 16 times into turn number one and not lose a position and he should be fine we'll wait and see let me know what you guys think who also who do you think should be driver of the day um we do have uh quite a few drivers that could be driver of the day so let me know who you think it should it should be um will it be Carlo he's gained five positions from the start of this race Lewis Hamilton he's gained six positions from where he started um is it just Lando Norris because he's built a 15 second gap on Max for stappen um yeah what tires is George on TI George is on a set of soft tires folks if you uh if you haven't on this stream before the leftmost tire is the tire that the driver is currently on and the rightmost tire is the driver is the tire that the driver started the race on so uh yeah as of now Russell's on five lap old soft tires oh we've just got a the circuit now I don't think it's going to be three laps behind but uh he's definitely two laps behind Okie does um what else have we got going on today um we're on lap number 59 14 laps remain of this race pastri is in DRS range let's go we've got some racing to the end of this race now um Pierre gazley trying to overtake hulkenberg for ninth position but our All Eyes now are on Pierre gazley oh not Pierre gazley pastri versus Charles lur the Gap is 9/10 of a second pastri doesn't have DRS on this occasion he was too far back at the detection Point himself but um I think uh there's a battle Brewing now between lur and pastri lur ties 34 laps old right um oh look at this they've come over the radio to pastri uh let's go Strat 11 for potential overtaking Strat 11 and that's 14 laps left to go they've got Strat 11 for 14 laps he's on overtake mode for 14 laps of this race they are really giving it absolutely everything from Oscar pastry's side and hopefully he'll end up in third position exactly where he started the race um so let's wait and see what happens here we go then lap number 59 of 72 and Lando Norris 16 seconds in the lead of this race wow um yeah McLaren is turning it up to 11 in fact they're turning up to Strat 11 and we're going to have a fantastic battle between the two youngsters right um wow pretty close to 7,000 likes that is brilliant and if you guys everyone all the gaps will be closed up any driver that has a big gap to the driver ahead of them that will benefit them because they're going to that Gap will go down to zero seconds okay um so here we go then Oscar P 9 T of a second is the gap between himself and lur o it is H it's looking worse and worse every single time piastri gets close lur still has a little bit more in the tank to uh to Oscar piash 1.1 seconds to Gap he's fell back again ah very very unfortunate George soft tires icon like that oh okay so if there's a slash going through the soft tire that means they he started out being a used set of soft tires so Russell used that set in qualifying to do you know two qual laps or one quality lap and then he started to use the same set of tires in the race whereas Hamilton hasn't got a slash through it so Hamilton actually hadn't used those set of soft tires before all right the current vat spit for Drive of the day 22% for Lando Norris 15% for Charles lur and 12% for Lewis Hamilton Okie does um let's wait and see what happen o oh my God we're looking at this and the the front left tire of Lando Norris has got so much damage to it so much degradation it looks all patchy and damaged um the front left tire is the tire that takes the most beating around here turn number 14 uh it's got a massive Banking and the front left takes a huge hit every single time you go through it and Lando Norris's front left looks very very in in a very bad condition there are 11 laps left to go in this race you know Lando Norris can sort of just conserve that Gap um and not push all that hard through the final final Corner um oh the the data's just Frozen there for a second in fact folks you know what I'm going to do I'm just going to give it a quick old refresh because um is it just going to jump uh I'll give it a quick refresh actually because it's a yeah that's the screen's going to go black for about 10 seconds uh the the team radio is also going to disappear but we should be back in five 4 three two one there we go and the data's back brilliant oie does um yeah sometimes uh I don't know the software just glitches out a bit so I've just reset the data um and we'll have some more team radios coming through as well shortly why would a driver prefer a used tire uh sometimes they don't have a choice you know they've only got a limited number of tires from team radios coming through uh there we go um yeah they'll come through soon enough all right uh Lewis Hamilton with a fastest lap of the racer 1 minute 13.8 from him um wow very very quick indeed and of course those are on some used soft tires as well brilliant brilant brilliant to see all right uh how is Lando lapping everyone else uh I don't know the McLaren have just brought loads of upgrades um what was I going to say oh yeah six uh McLaren brought six upgrades this weekend two two upgrades that were high down for specific upgrades and then four upgrades that were just general car upgrades and clearly they have worked so well that Norris has built up a 17 second lead over Max for spp and that is wild 17 seconds is ridiculous um all right uh let me just fix this uh radio stuff uh I'll just uh mute myself for for a second and then I'll just fix the radio stuff okay hopefully that should uh fix it there we go yeah right team radio is finally coming through okay um eight laps left of this race fot eight slaps left and we have got piash 1.17 seconds behind um Charles ler and it's going to be a pretty difficult challenge for him to get ahead of him now uh with eight laps left to go he has Strat in Strat 11 for quite a while he's been in that overtaking mode that McLaren have offered him but still it's been so so difficult to catch up to lur and then also get that overtake done he's just been hovering in that 710th of a second window um so now he's got to force a mistake out of L clur and it's much much easier now with 40 lap old hard tires uh it's going to be very very well it's not very very easy but it'll be a lot easier than before to force a mistake from Charles lur and to get past him so this is uh the final eight laps it's Oscar piastri versus Charles lir and apart from that I'd like to mention how half of the grid more than half of the grid has been lapped by Lando Norris I mean Lando Norris could uh you know he could start driving in reverse and still win this race like wow he's lapped half the G that's wow okay um haven't seen this level of domination in quite a while well actually I say that but we've seen Max just happen win 10 races in a row so but yeah we haven't seen this much domination from a driver that isn't Max just happen um o oh no we're seeing some lockups from Lando Norris I mean he's got an 18sec lead he can comfortably come into the pits and still re overtake uh Max foren but Lando Norris as he was going through turn number 12 it was he was on the inside he was on the curb on the Apex and the breaks were just ever so slightly locking and um well that's a very very big problem isn't it so who knows uh his yeah his front left High are are really suffering we're going to see how we can manage that but good at that um Okie does uh what else have we got to uh to talk about oh another fastest first sector from lewiis Hamilton Hamilton's just going on a fastest lap Quest here I if you guys remember back to 2021 um you saw we we always had those little battles between Ven and Hamilton where they would alternate fastest laps One driver would set a fast lap and then another driver Hamilton's just decided oh I've got no one to play with today so I'm just going to set faster Laps on my own um he's actually catching up to his teammate George Russell quite well and and the gap's quite close I don't know if Mercedes will let them continue battling but um yeah you know if they'll let them fight but we'll wait and see six laps remain of this race uh and George Russell is in seventh position Lewis Hamilton in eighth Hamilton up six positions off the start of this race Russell down three positions off the start of this race so Mercedes it's quite evident there you can see Mercedes they are the fourth fastest team um Ferrari seem to be much better in race Bas as you can see both Ferrari drivers have gained positions in the race here caros Heights up five places lur up three places so they're much better than they are in qualifying um so yeah Mercedes good in quality and Ferrari's good in the race and Ferraris have got even more upgrade packages uh planned for Monza so uh let's wait and see what happens maybe Ferrari second fastest team next weekend out in at their home Ground Prix all right uh Oscar patry 1.2 seconds is the gap and we've got five laps left to go time is running out Oscar you've got to get a move on if you want to get that Podium position um yeah yeah Lando Norris has uh has broke the cursy well I guess he's he had uh he did have a bad start but he going to win here at a slow speed circuit the Mercedes are fourth fastest team so so you know tomorrow not tomorrow next week we'll go to Monza and maybe Lando Norris will be the the second fastest team and Mercedes will be the quickest um who knows what will happen but here we are on lap number 71 of 72 the penultimate lap of this race V stappen has had quite the quite the Run of races at the at his home Grand Prix and uh you know three pole positions and then three wins as well but uh that may be coming to an end and it probably most likely will be coming to an end with uh Max with Lando Norris here uh getting pole position and also 20 seconds in the lead of this race uh with one lap left to go all right wow 33,000 people tuned into our live stream folks if you are enjoying once again here he comes across the start Finish Line to start the final lap of the race Oscar piash one and a half seconds behind Charles lir it looks like that battle and that overtaking opportunity has gone out the window um Norris overtakes valry botas and botas is now to laed has been lapped twice um and both s has been lapped twice very very unfortunate indeed um here we go the final lap of the race it's a little bit anticlimactic since we already know who's going to win but nonetheless it has been a fantastic drive from Lando Norris wow all right so here he comes through turn number 10 for the final time Max foren was really struggling in that corner and that is when Lando Norris pounced and got that overtake done and he goes into turn number 11 where his front left tire has been locking up on for for quite a few occasions but the flat spots have not deterred him he makes his way through the penultimate Corner through the banking and Lando Norris here he started from Pole Position he threw it away at the lead of this race on lap number 18 he got past M Max ven he comes across the line with a 22 second lead to win the Dutch Grand Prix absolute domination from Lando Norris I don't know what the data has just done and why it's put valri botas in second place but that is clearly not the case um and that also just rhymed um max with stman he's coming across the line very very soon 22 seconds behind his rival Lando Norris and Max for stpp in a second place at his home race he'll be on the podium but he will not be pleased and Charles lir comes across the line in third position Oscar pastri in fourth and Charlos SS in fifth place the Ferraris look fantastic in race Pace the Mercedes not so much and the McLaren are dominant as ever Sergio Perez in sixth position four places behind his teammate kind of what red will want but ideally they'd like him to be closer to vapen that is the end of the Grand Prix folks thank you everyone for tuning in if you haven't hit the like
