sandboard Grand Prix uh so yes hello everyone how are you doing good to see you too yes we are talking yes we are talking indeed it's been a while hasn't it yeah it's been like three weeks four weeks like a month uh so uh we we already have some really Formula 1 time again uh how is your vacation I mean I got back to school so for the very last time um so yeah it's been busy it's been very busy actually I should be doing a lot of stuff for University right now because I have like a thousand um a thousand things that I have to to finish by the end of November um that I haven't even started and everyone is really calm no one in my class has started anything uh but I'm already seeing myself like tearing my my my hair out um because yeah because I I'm not making it on time so it's tough uh it's stressful but uh we're hanging in there we're hanging in there love the accent thank you um so we've had a we've had a a very extremely super quiet um you sound like the Italian coach of Ajax well I mean that was just me uh not putting on the the English accent I could do this if I want to it is very natural but the thing is it is very cringe so I am not going to be doing this but I can it is just not making the lightest effort to speak with with a proper accent which you can do you can definitely do but it it it just sounds wrong this is what happened when you start to speak a language uh but not not make the slightest adjust adjustments on your voice you only do the the words that's what happens so then you turn it back on and it goes back to normal um yeah so we we had a depressing Break um nothing happened other than the than the worst announcement in in the history of of of Carlos SS's career he's going to Williams uh so say goodbye to Carlos SS his career instead you should have St at McLaren um no much else to say there hi Jorge how are you um so yeah it was a it was a very bad decision uh but who are we to you know to say anything I mean the money must have been huge um it's good for Williams that's for sure it's it's very good for Williams but we'll see next year other than that yeah we got the confirmation of Jack Duhan Jack Duhan right signing for Alpine uh sure okay yeah it's it's good to to see a new face in in Formula 1 from a young driver and everything um but Alpine is yeah um oh Ferrari are are struggling big time this weekend there are a few cars a few teams a few drivers that are already showing signs of struggling this weekend it's really cold that's why I'm so um yeah uh so it's uh it's Ferrari they really seem to be struggling has don't seem to be the happiest that they have ever been um at least with the setup you know not not because of pure Pace Ferrari are because of pure pace so we'll see how that translates into qualifying let's see if bis can actually manage to to to get out of q1 um and yeah that's that's pretty much it oh I also want to make an announcement uh it is very highly likely very highly likely nothing confirmed yet but it's very highly likely that I won't be here next season it's a decision that I have um thought about during the break and I think it makes the most sense so uh we'll see nothing has been decided but it is uh it is my my intention we'll see um if anything super out of the blue comes uh but uh yeah it's I I I I'm probably going to be retiring no not retiring but at least I'm going to be taking a break you know um yeah are you going to Williams too well that's a that's a big question mark isn't it no but the thing is I'm going to have more free time so that could still be like okay yeah sure let's do this but um honestly right now I am uh thinking of you know I've been doing this for what the other day uh it was my four year anniversary um and yeah I've been doing this for a while and it's it's a lot of fun it's been a lot of fun it's been great to to talk to you guys but I think it's you know maybe time to move on a little bit my thoughts on the sport have changed drastically since I started doing this um and up until now I also have a podcast with friends that are all where all very very big fans of the sport and we are thinking of ending it at the end of the season as well um yeah F1 is in a weird spot right now and we don't really feel like it represents us anymore uh so yeah that's um that's all I wanted to say on that and let's continue with the with the weekend Oh few messages okay zand bort this is a track that I really like it's the well it's because not only because it it looks really cool and it's not a street circuit but also because it's the only Fone track that I have ever actually been to um during its renovation process unfortunately uh it was it it was not the Ringo race but it was in preparations for the 2020 Dutch Grand Prix that didn't happen of course because well obvious reasons um it was yeah it was fun it was a lot of fun I mean uh I I went in there were some bikes going around and at the end uh I was I was exiting and I saw some some cars like some real cars coming in and I was like what's going on and apparently there was a charity event being set up with all the super cars of of the Netherlands for for for the children with cancer I think so uh yeah I mean I saw some really cool cars that day it was uh it was a very very nice day that one that's what my friend things as well he's lost his love for the sport yeah it's something that's happening a lot to longtime fans right now it's um I don't know if this is a transition uh H we can we can set up a a stream and talk about all of this later on or perhaps I can do it in my channel well see um so yeah if you perhaps want to want to talk about that later on make sure to to subscribe to my channel Ryan F1 um I don't think the link is tomorrow or somewhere next week or or something like that I don't know if we could set that up or perhaps at the end of the season whatever and just you know talk about that not uh get in the way of the stream of the Grand Prix so for today we're going to get the three hardest Tire compounds as the the CZ no C3 C4 and C5 was no the c0 C1 and C2 I just saw it and I just completely forgot come on let me see uh C1 C2 and C3 okay so it's not okay C1 C2 and C3 uh for today the tire the the track is partly cloudy with 24° air temperature 31° track temperature very low risk of rain it's sunny right now it is not raining and the track is drying up new sergeant oh yeah he had a big crash in fp3 a very very big crash um oh I got to slow this down I forgot uh one two three four five okay I got to slow the stream down yeah I forgot about that 1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 1 2 3 4 5 6 okay um okay that's it we got to file a grievance with the FIA we're losing right because of how screw the government body is yeah it's it's it's a lot to do with that it's a lot to do with that um so yeah I was just talking about the the Logan Sergeant accident and it was a huge shunt that we're now seeing on uh the replay there on on TV so on practice 3 he lost the rear went straight into the wall the whole rear assembly was broken uh looks like a gearbox uh was compromised as well and then the car caught fire so yeah um it was good that uh remember the last race that we had that I said that I was getting sick well immediately that afternoon I couldn't speak anymore uh my my my nose was so stuffed uh so it was good that the race was when it was because I was sick for the following week um so yeah that that that would have been bad that would have definitely been bad for the next week and a half two weeks yeah there's a lot of stuff going around the the air here but now we're good we're all good um yeah the session was red flagged in fp3 because the Logan Sergeant crashed and then uh it resumed but not a lot of cars came out uh because it it was still raining and you know today for qualifying it wasn't going to rain so it didn't make a lot of sense um but yeah we're going to get uh we're going to get some cars on the on the track in just a few seconds when will it start any second now I think it's already underway but no one has come out yet no it's about to start then yeah it's already started okay there we go um I miss the trumpet ah I'm pleased to I'm pleased to please but is it raining or not no it is not raining it is not raining and we already have a h on the track is the mini map not working no it is not okay wienberg and Joe are on the track already uh let's hope that the mini map gets fixed on on the on the live broadcast I don't know about your mini map I'm not watching that unfortunately but gastle Bas wenberg okon and Joe are now on the track um with a few more coming out Alex Alon uh is is next so it's l stow and so is Gastly as well so yeah starting to come out everyone uh here as oh there the map is fixed as hulkenberg is just starting his fast lap uh right now so 16 and a half minutes left to the end of the session and hulkenberg is going into turn one with his has to set the first lap of qualifying here at the third race at zandor with the first banking already under way yeah everyone is is uh is is coming out now will come back of course is going to get the fastest lap of the session because it's the first lap of the session Ryan my guess is sp is outo q1 unfortunately oh remember pis damn I haven't thought about pis in in weeks now yeah um of course I could definitely see that one p q1 Sergeant will be out once the paper Mach is try yeah the elen attack so hulkenberg across the line of course he goes fastest so far yeah they're rebuild in the car uh I mean it's good that they're using that because it's easier to clean off the track once he crashes again and it also crumples better than carbon fiber so perhaps it could also be a safety advantage when it crashes into the wall next time nor Sergeant well he's not out yet uh nor sergeant bapin and Ricardo are the only drivers not to have come out onto the track so far everyone else is um they're all on of course the soft compound tire and um on the soft compound tire and they are setting their quick times already Gastly is ahead of okon ahead of BAS wienberg and Jo as of now need alono to give us hope n alonso's alonso's not going to do that anymore uh alvon goes into P1 can I get a shout out no Gordon Thompson you cannot get a shout out troll sets the fastest time of the session so far P1 for Mr stroll Alonzo goes only fourth science comes across the line seventh science can only manage seventh as ler sets the second fastest sector pis only third behind alvon and behind Stoll I need alono PO for my sanity ah yeah lar P3 up ahead of Sergio pis where for stopping in the pits because he hasn't come out yet um once he he comes out he won't be in the pits anymore so pastri sets the quickest time 3/1 of a second the faster Dan L roll I I feel perz shouldn't bother trying his going to the NF the car anyway yeah and he also got a a contract extension he got renewed um oh no he didn't get renewed she got uh retained until the end of the season um yeah wenberg improves his time uh but not his position up into well he stays in ninth place we just gave him a shout out now yeah of course that's a joke that's that's the that's the whole thing um I like the the camera that stays on on axis and then uh you can see the the banking of the turns so that's a very negative camber turn yeah so Norris is uh is battling through that second sector about to start there we go into the third sector that was a bit of a scrappy lap by Lando let's see what he can do as he comes across the line um let's see Norris he hasn't set a time yet and he goes second quickest behind Hamilton B Sten still hasn't come out and that is uh that is fake that is false because he has just come out exactly as I said that he didn't come out he came out uh so yeah Norris lost a rear there a little bit guys do not spam in the chat uh if you spam in the chat you're going to get silenced it's it's pretty easy not to not to spam um so don't do it thank you 11 minutes left to go to the end of the session let's see outlab four better stop in as he goes into the third sector Hamilton comes into the pits P1 he is 2,000 of a second quicker than land on Norris there 2 th000 of a second with Norris uh after he had a bit of a of a rough lap Norris as he also comes into the pits there the pit entry is very very late it's like right next to the to the start Finish Line yeah I I sat and had a picnic at the top of turn 14 uh as I was looking at at the bikes go through it was really nice didn't even have to buy a ticket or anything it just walked in totally off topic but I got this dope buildable Pagani so I hope this looks good oh hell yeah Honda hope it does hope it does not like the did you I see the Lego what was it the Lego McLaren P1 that thing looks fantastic from the rear but absolutely disgusting from the front uh I don't know what they were thinking that's the front of uh ah 570s uh that's definitely not a P1 and and it really does look very bad but the rear is fantastic so 9 minutes left to the end of the session we still have Hamilton ahead of Norris now B Sten is in third place ahead of pastri and St and albon and ller and perz and Magus and alono and Russell and G and hul and Ricardo B sence Joe and Sergeant are out of the session as of now uh they still have some time to reverse that situation eight a little over 8 minutes to be exact um Ricardo 5,000 of a second behind okon then Bas 18,000 of a second behind uh oron as well so it's it's extremely extremely close between uh the three of them there from p15 to p17 and it's almost the same situation with the top three it's Hamilton 2,000 of a second had on noris and bur up in 18,000 of a second uh behind Hamilton so it's yeah less than 210 splitting less than 200 sorry splitting the three of them as scarlos SS can only manage p12 um with his qualifying Improvement there uh so as of now we've got yeah okon Ricardo and Bas within 200s of a second of each other Gastly goes fifth quickest with that lap time Joe um not improving on that time on that lap time uh ah on that lap with this time there we go he is 1.3 seconds behind uh the elimination Zone he is the slowest by over a second Ricardo improves up into p15 he's out of the elimination Zone as Russell goes up into nth as of now we got Sun hulkenberg Bas Joe and Sergeant who I do not think is making it out on time hulkenberg is p7 as he improves right there leair is coming up next but I do not think he's on a push lap right now no he is not no it's not going to rain it's definitely not going to rain ptis what the is this video doing Hamilton has impeded ptis in uh what was that turn nine or turn eight turn nine Hamilton I was well out of his way yep no sweat so that will be up to the stewards to decide whether that was uh illegal or not R is in the Netherlands no I am not in the Netherlands I was once in the Netherlands it was really good it was before Co uh Europe was in a great place yeah it was a it was a very fun time to travel I mean it was a very long trip uh I did like five countries in a month uh so I I could do uh like not touch and go in every city I could stay like a week in four or five days in a city and then move on it was super fun I was 19 doing all this travel um alone by myself it was super fun it was super fun honestly did they fix Logan's car not in time it doesn't look like at least not yet they still have five minutes but it's looking rough uh the only guy who's out now is Lance Stoll who is on his own uh on an out laap or is he on a fast lap looks like he's pushing oh yeah looks like he's pushing let's see what he can do right now uh he is on P6 I see fix in loga car can they put it can they get him uh out on one lap before the session ends I we haven't seen anything from him yet uh usually we we we see them uh working on the car or something but we haven't seen much uh oh by the way guys by the by if you want to to drop a like it would really really help us out uh St P6 comes across the line B4 right behind barsten disqualify Hamilton for being antagonistic on on what uh that's Alonzo getting ready to exit the pits so everyone is coming out now for their second and final run well perhaps their third uh for the final run that's for sure there's three minutes left to go B STA and Joe Bas magnusen uh pastri hulkenberg Norris and Alvin are out on the track already yeah stroll at Fourth but he um he's going to drop now with the final lap times but um astons have always been pretty decent here at this track there's a q there in the pit Lane oh big Q very big Q uh so that's Alan out to no that Ricardo yeah another had had slow down a bunch so alono out so is Carlos SS now are there any race predictions from you my friend uh no not any predictions so far we haven't yet seen what the cars can do in qualifying ah yeah of course I mean we can always do um good old better stoping ahead of Norris and then Hamilton in third sure we can do that we can do that oh let's see ver Sten is he going to get a clear line yes he has he took the Alonso line that's uh that's because the first time we were here drivers were trying to figure out how to take the banked Corners it was tough to figure that one out um people were diving in and then coming out taking the Apex and everything and alono was setting the the the timing sheets a light um he was taking the outside line all through the bank and it was way quicker so driver started doing that and then yeah it was it was the regular line after that I remember that nice here o better stop and has yeah slow down there yeah not a good lap not a good lap um so everyone is out and Sergeant is not going to be making it out on time so he is out of qualifying our first driver out of qualifying that is Bing coming into the pits so okay he has AED the lap he is not staying out botas improves up into 15th drops signs down to 16th Place uh let's see Kevin magnusen across the line up into six right now nice final fin sector by the H there uh let's see quickest third sector for B let's look at Carlos SS he is struggling Big Time Alvin up into fourth place that is a fantastic lap from him Yuki goes up into seventh right behind osar piastri that drops Bas out of qualifying Ricardo up in 13 that's okon out of qualifying right now let's see Alonzo is in danger in big danger right now can he improve on this lap oh yes he can up into fourth place ahead of Alon he is the first driver to take the checkered flag c of Science is going to be coming next to next he oh fastest time so far by half a tenth of a second uh that is that is great for Ferrar let's look at lir now he is stuck in 13th Place what can he do DRS open up in two seconds so it's a front row lockout in q1 of course [Music] um oh Russell now improves on the Ferrari side that's P1 for George Russell Sergio pz is in p16 can he get out of q1 okon is out of qualifying p7 so are Bas and Joo Perez sets the quickest time right now P1 for Perez that drops Ricardo out of qualifying our good friend Daniel Ricardo is out of qualifying here on this first session our good friend Ricardo is in P6 ahead of Aon botas Jo and arent so uh yeah that's uh that's qualifying one it's been a while I'm a little bit Rusty here on my quality commentary um I'm having a a discussion I'm having a yeah a discussion with my brother he's studying engineering and I'm just a nerd of a lot of stuff so we both uh know what we're talking about uh in regards to we've been having this discussion for like I don't know three months now we keep coming back to it nuclear energy um I say it's one of the best things that has happened in in human development and he is against it he's saying renewable energies are the future and I'm saying that most of the renewable energies need a lot of um of of you know uh pollu ution to to get them to work and then it pretty much offsets everything and nuclear energy for the amount of of of waste that it produces produce an amount of of energy that is uh outstanding and there's already good containment things for for nuclear waste and everything but this is an ongoing discussion that we have and he just rebutted with um with um with yeah compared to gas and and coal is better but um if you go completely green energy it's worse and I'm saying no no it is not worse uh but yeah we're not going to go we're not going to go in depth in this but it's it's an ongoing discussion with my brother that we have the suppos it's the biggest issue for nuclear yeah but it's already been I mean there are new things in place that uh that pretty much neutralize uh all the waste and store it safely without the need for um for maintenance of any kind and in a in a surface area that is uh that is not big and not substantial at all without hurting the environment around it so yeah it's a it's a nonissue in my opinion we don't want another chernova moment bro yeah but that's not going to happen nuclear stations have got much higher standards that was complete neglect for uh the safety and the running of the plant and yeah a reactor meltdown is is not something that uh that would occur in the same way that charob did ever again um so that's also an an issue hey Paula donation for this great Channel and our family thank you so much Paula for your donation it is very greatly appreciated yeah but we uh but we wasted a set of soft pleas for worse than I've been penalized so don't expect anything less okay so p is complaining that he got through to Q2 uh thank you Paula I mean there are lots of nuances in this subject too many to talk in a chat yes I know we're still going through them with my brother so it is it is uh it is a complex topic um but in in in short I am for nuclear energy and he is against well not against but he's uh for other sources of energy of course that new nulear Fusion is is better but we don't have that in a in a big enough level uh yet nuclear fishion or nuclear fusion both no no nuclear fusion is uh is much better than nuclear fishion uh but we cannot sustain that uh it's uh it's not a thing that we can do at a at a at a at a sustainable and and big enough level yet Fusion nuclear fusion nuclear fishion we we do that's what runs our electric electric our nuclear power plants as of now people compare mother nuclear to the 6 s Tech is ridiculous yes exactly that's what that's why there's no chernov uh no chern noals happening anytime soon Q2 time um in just a few seconds waiting for the race well you're going to be waiting here a while that's tomorrow Fusion has finally become energy positive though just to test plans for now yes exactly um it takes a lot to to make uh Fusion yeah Fusion happen and it's still in in its 30 days but it looks promising uh I think that could be our future spread the nuclear waste onto all the F1 Street tracks that's already happening dude I'm sorry I was going to be mean to the fans but they don't deserve it they they just paid for a show and they're not getting it um it's it's a scam honestly anyway um yeah back to nuclear energy um they're researching on how to harvest ocean currents and waves that's a win of course that's a win yes what a nose thank you thank you why can't we do nuclear fusion uh because it's very energy intense and the energy that that comes out of nuclear fusion is not stable or or we don't have the means yet to um balance out the energy needed to get to nuclear fusion uh I am not very informed on the fusion subject I know more about fishing but um yeah Fusion is is not a a thing that we can sustainably uh and consistently do as of now but there are constant um updates on the topic okay let's go back to F1 let's start talking about nuclear energy even though I could spend all day talking about this so science is out on the track ahead of car of Charlotte cler yes nuclear energy very much good yes says J Martin AKA Terminator uh thank you so much for your donation dude George Martin nuclear power is basically fancy hydroelectric except you don't have to Dam a river yeah but it's much more efficient as well it produces uh more energy than uh than hydroelectric with much less surface area and a lesser impact on the ecosystem as well that's why it's um it's better for for the environment to use nuclear energy than it is to use a uh a dam hydroelectric Dam take a look at Germany energy policy such a great case study yes that's on the exact topic that we are basing our our our new discussion with my brother on the fact that I think it's absolutely aor and that they're taking down the the nuclear power plants in favor of more coal and natural gas makes no sense absolutely no sense um but anyway we'll talk about that another time so far SC are the only two drivers out on truck no one else has joined them two back to F1 yeah but there not much going on in F1 either I mean we have two Ferraris going side by side here science is clearly quicker on the first sector let's see about the second looks like ller is winning mini sector after Min sector there um yeah the two of them oh a big nice slide from Carlos there at the ex at the exit sorry of turn 10 the issue with nuclear plants is that we still don't know what to do with the waste F has been spent but that will still be radioactive for the next Thousand Years yes but as I just said uh there's a way to neutralize part of it and and the rest of it can be uh safely stored in maintenance-free uh facilities uh buried underground that have no impact on the environment whatsoever so there is already a brand new containment plant with different tubes and and all that sorts in I think Finland I think Finland or Norway uh one of the two has been working on on that so either botas or or or Magnus and to bring it back to F1 I think the Germany issu because of the Fukushima incident no it has nothing to do with the Fukushima in because of environmentalist bloing and um the carbon the carbon the coal uh Powers at play and also the well at the time at the early 2000s it was the the Accords with uh with with Russia and everything uh but now that's all gone sour and they are still not going back to nuclear they're now depending more on coal and on natural gas that they import from the US at four times the cost that it was in Russia anyway it's a geopolitics uh 11 minutes left to go to the session as Bap alri Magnus and hulkenberg are out on the track now and a few more drivers are coming out but stopping now on the radio uh still raining in the air let's see that's correct so oh okay so we could be raining it's coming from the sea um yeah it's coming from the sea but it's not coming get into the track it's uh looks like it's going to stay in the sea at least until the end of the session when I was a kid I was of the opinion of throwing the nuclear W to the sun with a rocket I mean honestly that's not a bad solution it just takes a lot of money but if enough waste came together sure we could do that definitely not that excited for f one much anymore it seems every circuit is going to be a street circuit eventually and I don't like Vegas or Miami I might go back to Casual F when Max stop and and PES retire yes uh it makes a lot of sense I am in that exact same camp um but perhaps from earlier than that I mean I get today I get much more excited watching the wec uh that's just me though that's just me thank you so loving the Moto GP this year at NASCAR hell yeah um yeah you just need to find your own your own series you know I've been watching IMA as well uh I started to watch indicar didn't really get hooked uh watched like four or five races uh of course I watched the in 500 every year but the the series that I've been most hooked with has been um surprisingly uh the WC sober Sten goes second quickest P2 for him um ahead of Magnus and hulkenberg ller signs an alanus Norris just stops the timing shoot by 9,000 of a second ahead of Norris ahead of oh past3 Rocket launch ain't cheap yeah of course that's why I said uh getting all of the waste but also yeah that's a big problem if if the launch goes wrong which sometimes it tends to happen so Gastly goes P6 right now a second almost slower than Norris let's see Alonzo coming through the final corner now across the line he goes sixth okay um Russell sets the third fastest time right now as Alex Alon is going to be coming into the pits Hamilton setting his time as well goes fifth fastest behind bar Sten and behind his teammate Russell science P P9 there o not a good lap by science uh as he improves into P9 and lar stuck down in 14th Place he's also improving let's see what he can do let's hope that it's better than his team made up into six it's okay that is better 6 and 1/2 minutes remain to the end of this Q2 session we could also put in strategic teonic plates and wait until Earth puts it under Earth crust but these are naive ideas yeah well we we also had the the deepest hole uh because there were well in the Cold War I don't know why the US and and the USSR tried to get to the mantle of the Earth by digging um and the US didn't get very far it was like uh a few hundred meters down but the USSR continued digging and even though they many times uh they exceeded by many times the ussr's hole it still was like not even halfway to the manle of the earth uh all the tools were breaking the heat was absolutely unbearable uh it was breaking everything as well so they had to give up but there're still uh the hole is still there it hasn't been hasn't been covered it's not a big hole it's like this big that's the that's the is one of the best cars ever and then the the model that has been after that one oh the SLS my God uh but yeah they didn't even sound good they got a four-cylinder um BMW then the new the sign philosophy that it's just the 750i was the last the the 850i sorry was the the last car well the M8 actually the the latest M8 was the last car that they made that I found actually attractive everything that came after that it's uh repulsive if I may and Audi has been keeping their head they have been taking the the slack and they've been actually doing some really cool stuff even their electric cars are cool the rron uh RS that one's really cool um so you know I think Audi has uh has taken the has taken the mantle of the of the German sedan manufactur ing world for enthusiasts at least in my view uh I think they're the only aggressive looking fun cars uh from from those three manufacturers RS6 wagon is still my favorite car yeah the RS6 wagon is a is a great car and if you see the what is it the M3 touring that's I think what it's called the one the the the wagon from BMW looks so bad bad that front end is so bad and the rear has no personality it's such a shame alono and Stoll are out on track for their fast and I assume only laps of the session I don't mind the new M2 though oh it is so bad the new M2 with the two squares up front oh so bad I'm sorry I just really don't like it BMW Cardis Stand Out by looking goly with the grills not only the grills but the the headlights and the tail lights as well the lines make absolutely no sense from a design point of view
