Intro this is Eagle Al and today we're going to talk about Cooper deim bad hamstring also CJ Gardner Johnson spoke with RG3 and spoke about the team bonding and lastly Nico Dean possible starter long shot but let's get straight into [Music] it all right so before we get straight into it the Eagles made a roster move another move we signed a guy to the practice squad a a guy that a lot of fans been talking about and looking at is JT Woods JT Woods sits to about 195 JT Woods Signed is athlete for sure he runs fast um he he's versatile you could put him at safety outside you could put him at nickel shout out to Anthony Debona he even put out like what he's been doing or what he did during the preseason season he played most of his time on the outside around like 62 snaps but then like safety was like 48 another third round pick a team gave up on and the Chargers going into year three how Roseman is really banking on these guys to hit their potential because the problem with him is it kind of remind me of like his score but I think Sydney Brown well I know Sydney Brown's better but Sydney brown one of the things where he missed tackles and his eye discipline Sydney Brown got those quote unquote same problems according to people but Sydney Brown showed he can be that guy whereas though this guy you know he he didn't show that yet um he had some flashes during the preseason he had some flashes in general like two years before he was drafted like two years into college had about like nine interceptions so JT Woods is a really good solid pickup but you banking on him to live up to live up to that potential feel like the Byron young signing third round pick hoping he can live up to the potential so we just got a lot of hungry people not only that I see we getting a lot of versatile guys like for example I Eagles Signing only versatile players? like sha Stevens but I know sha Stevens is only limited to the nickel whereas though if you look at our defense now you look at besides slay besides probably Devon white or niobe Dean whoever they start everybody else is pretty much versatile so Quan Mitchell he could play slot and outside isaah Rogers could play slot slot and outside we can go cidd Deuce he can play slot and safety well Reed blanket ship is just the safety but he he can cover here and there not to the point as a nickel but he can cover a little bit but most our defense is versatile guys even a defense a line they trying to line jayen Carter out to the outside sometimes too as a de so I I see the play I see what we doing even Byron young he can do it all on a defensive tackle or defensive line but he just never mastered one thing you came like oh yeah he's dominant right here we not sure but we got a lot of versatile guys and JT Woods just add to that versatility cuz you could put them at safety and you can put them on outside so I can see why the Eagles as much as I love Sean Stevens I can see why we didn't sound them back because again he's just a nickel and it seemed like we just want versatile guys even even the Marlon T thing Marlon T is a really good defensive tackle but you can't put them nowhere else whereas though everybody else we can line them up in different places so I'm assuming that's the direction that Eagles are going that's just a theory of Ms I've been holding on for a while like you we've been trying to get a lot of versatile guys and so far my theory is correct so um shout out to JT woods man get his opportunity with the Philadelphia Eagles and I want to talk about the team captains the team Team Captains revealed captains came out it was only one guy left off and I was wondering why but we going to go over to team captains so you have Lane Johnson Jaylen Herz Brandon Graham Jordan Mada his first year shout out to Jordan Mada because he deserve it Got Jake Elliott AJ Brown and Darius slle I like it you know Devonte Smith obviously not on there I think maybe Devonte Smith didn't want that he just want to play ball probably didn't even want to be labeled a captain and Devonte Smith is more laidback AJ Brown been really outspoken Jordan Mada been outspoken hell you could even say jayen HZ even though I know Jaylen Herz damn near get it by default because he the quarterback but he's been outspoken everybody I name is really outspoken there's some clips I would go over with slay and I'm like yo slay will be a good DB coach but that's a video for another time slay shows some signs like yo he will be a good DB coach in this league at some point if it's not for the Philadelphia Eagles in the next couple years so shout out to the captains man those are your captains and this is just a reality check that game one is almost here and speaking of game one this Brazil thing is a bit tricky to me I got Brazil Is Spooky? out there and played the best he could you know definitely come off the hamstring he had all camp and this was his really true first test so I know by I know how Eagles fans get y'all be patient be he might have pushed it he might have pushed it to play that on week three preseason game he might have pushed it so I'm saying just let him recover let him recover and get him ready for the next season cuz even if que Mitch you or whatever had to miss a game or two for whatever reason I think you should put Avante Maddis next I don't think it should be Cooper de jeene Cooper de jeene should be red shirted I'm sorry I know what y'all saying get much playing time as possible and I would agree with y'all if this team was a bad team but this team is Super Bowl bound we don't got time to but hopefully you know will GRE got to come out that 13 man all right Devon Smith saquan Barkley Jaylen Herz obvious then Edge you got Bryce Huff D tackle you got Jordan Davis D tackle you got Jaylen
