[Music] this will be the largest group of assembled fans in the West e hemisphere that's why they need a big house welcome to an arbor home of the Michigan W Marines there's nothing quite like a great rivalry matchup in college football the bitterness the intensity the lifetime of memories that will come as a result of what we're about to see in this one as we'll see the number 19 team in the country the Michigan State Spartans taking on the number one team in the land the Michigan Wolverine [Applause] going to run it it's Buck that's what you expect from a senior don't give them any extra yards great tackle there after picking up a couple at second and eight out of the gun the inside hand off to the running back and a really nice run and pick up there before the defense avoided disaster and stopped the really big play it'll be a first down from the 49 yd line looking for a deep man and it slips through his fingers incomplete that would have been a huge gain if he could have squeezed it they'll try again on second down after the incompletion firing to the right complete Wolverines often look at this rivalry as their Birthright to win and boy did they put the hammer down in a blowout last year yeah and you heard a lot of Hail to the victors and you heard a lot about little brother and a lot of shots throughout this last can anyone catch him keeps it himself and gets the first and he's loose and he'll take it to the house TCH down Michigan they can use this first score to sort of set the tone guys in this rival match up man doesn't this feel good to come out score Guys these two have been showing contempt and just D for each other for more than a century first meeting back in 1898 yeah and my goodness you think about all the years all the plays you think about Mike har a few years ago what was he talking about little brother that stung Michigan State so bad the hatred for each other is what makes this game so fun to follow every single year and I always [Applause] from the shotgun now here's an inside GI he'll move it up to the 37 yd line and it'll be a first down here's this offense with a fresh set of downs see that maze in blue and you expect tough-minded hard noosed running attack I expect big physical huge linemen that don't like people that are going to move them out of the way and do just this what we did right here move the sticks get Downs on the ground that's who Michigan is that's why they love to feed this senior running back he'll find those extra yards and that play there is essentially a microcosm of why this guy's the leading rusher in hit the gas kid wide open ahead and he just kept running and he ran away from the crowd and he'll take it in touchdown W re you know often times in college football the best offenses are the ones that can create explosive plays just like you saw right there they're top 10 in the from the gun they'll try to impose their running game crosses the 30 to the 31 and a 6yd pickup got six on first down now a lot of options on second and four When You Reach this point in the season these types of games 25 open Runway ahead that is exactly what you want to do with the football he's got it all the way down to the 15 yd line they just changed the dynamic of this possession in a heartbeat and now it's first and 10 from inside the Red Zone and he's able to shed one tackle and gets a pretty good pick up operating in the Red Zone here on second down right back to it he pushes it forward all the way to the 2yd line and the Wolverines trying to cash it in on first and goal well you know if you're this offense you're dialing up this running back man he has and he's going to take it to the house TCH down Miss I love running backs they have a nose for the goal line understand how to get there finish strong into the end no I get and then go Cate [Applause] [Applause] the give to the running back from the shotgun and a decent gain there before the defense makes the stop when you're a defense it is stop the run first that is your first responsibility it makes the whole game easy and right now they got it going on the ground the defense is going to have to change something up the bur kid Quick Step and go touchdown Wolverine and they add six more to the board with that trip to the house they want to finish the season strong and man are they doing that here in this week 11 performance they'll throw it on first down fires to the tight end and he goes out of bounds after coming up with positive yardage there trying to convert this second and short Jackson going to throw it moves away as he feels pressure he'll try to do it himself turns it on Midfield they finally make the Stop and he shows why he is dangerous On The Run two and he's got a first down that last play is the kind of thing the offense can really built some momentum on and now they've got it first and 10 outside the 40 good little pick up there as he saw some daylight and got what he could second down coming up he's looking to throw uncs one how about getting the foot down on that throw for the big completion the W Marines have it with a first and 10 he's going to pass feeling he welcome to the frustrating reality of college football like the guy at the quarterback spot he can just do that pull it down get positive yards makes the defense have to account for him every single play he was able to squirt free and pick up just a few on that one boy they'd love to pick up this conversion and go to work with a first and goal in the gun looking to throw on third down and maybe he'll get back to the line of scrimmage but no more than that out on the field tight game here late in the first half wants to throw on first down rifles it down the middle makes the grab takes it to the house TCH down Michigan and what nice play on you get your speed put him in the slot usually get a better match up and then what do you do you fade him towards that sideline run a go nice ball thrown way out he just runs they go to the end of round to start the drive that'll get them thinking still running at the 40 and you can see the offense just feeling itself they've got it down to the all in to stop the run Relentless tough running gets it down to the four offense trying to P it off on second and goal and you know exactly what time it touchdown Wolverine and the beat down has ensued the Wolverines have a nice little cushion in that Paul bun trophy almost within their Gras Sparty can't quit though this game means too much in the Rivalry in the conference play in recruiting [Applause] they'll leave it with him got the first down and more and he's brought down after a nice game the offense has it first and 10 from their own 20 runs like that man where he just shows you a little bit of everything that is the reason why he's in the high like this and a big play on the outside what a job to keep those feet in bounds and get the completion you get a play like that and you Wolverines where do you guys rank this trophy yeah it's hard to say I mean there's so many trophy games I feel like in the Big 10 David I this game obviously it always has big 10 implications National games with all the emotions running so deep like you sometimes get overzealous sometimes you get too many penalties it's hard to R in your emotions but they did they kept it in check and now dragging
