Dawson's Creek 2x2 "Crossroads" Reaction

[Music] hi everyone welcome back we're heading into episode two of season 2 what I will say is I felt like there was a stronger plot throughout just episode one or at least in the terms of pacy and Andy I felt their chemistry is the strongest I felt pacy with with anyone including dwson or jery or Jen or tomorrow tomorrow but I mean that was only episode one so I can only imagine what's going to happen with episode two I feel like they completely dismiss Dawson and Jen already from episode one as if really and truly their relationship didn't matter it wasn't the popular choice and and Dawson are more suited I don't know Jen's going through a crisis I have been enjoying Dawson's Creek so I hope you enjoy it with me because it's been so much fun and I genuinely I'm excited every time I get to watch an episode because it's been so long and for me this is my childhood and now we're just getting into the Croc of it we have Andy here already and honestly great casting don't forget to like feels like they come from money so what's going on with their situation just really important for me to to know that you think that I have talent potentials or something oh you have talent D you are off as a man neither worthy of their time or their concern and it's true conclusion that I came to today on my 16th birthday Dawson is that my best friend in the world looks at me the very same way honestly I am with py on this no one that has treated him with respect including dorson it's a little half smile I forgot P's birthday cuz you suck as a friend I'm his best friend and I forgot his 16th birthday yeah cuz you're self-absorbed I like Dawson but let's not lie about his what he's like think I am the world's first filmmaker no that I don't agree with at all know what you did I mean it was wrong of you to go inside of my head and take my thoughts and my feelings without my concern I know believe me I know I'm so sorry I ever read but you still did it but she's going to explain the truth is uh I've had these feelings for you for a long time it has been a long time if you think about it abtin much longer oh right you're right she'll hold out and then he'll just get sick and tired of it oh come on all those years of sleeping together in the same day I mean they are very hot and heavy I want him back it's not going to work J God why yeah I agree with Abby in this moment why because I love him do you well it is your birthday isn't it the only one who really remembered his birthday by the way the fact that she felt so bad for py to give him this present means she cares more than she probably realiz [Music] is look what it is or stupid party for example I thought I could at least be a pacy Widow that's what makes it so interesting is is that he views himself differently and it's oh it's so good w we are so deep ah the perfect end of a perfect party hey I've been at least and there was no excuse for getting your birthday but it's not because I've written you off there are certain things that I'm going to miss as your friend but that's natural you know it's no big deal to me it's a very big deal well it's a very big deal because you're supposed to be best friends both no haven't breaken that state law at least the last three years okay 3 years I was wondering cuz he was driving in the last season but time to pass I oh please your father would kill you I don't think his father cares right now he [Music] yeah ah thank you why am I say thank you something that I found very interesting about this episode is there're still trying to find their feet so sometimes it feels like they're rushing through plot points don't forget it's a 2223 24 whatever it ends up being season right cuz it's not a half season like he was in the first one but it still feels that they're trying to find where they're trying to go what I will say is pacy and Andy have the best for me the best chemistry every time they're on screen together I really enjoyed and we're only two episodes into them and Jack's here I didn't expect Jack to appear yet I knew he would because obviously she mentioned him I was like possibility he's going to appear in this episode I thought it was going to be the next episode where he would appear but in the same scenario that he's in he looks so young Dawson isn't a great friend to py in this episode but in this episode there's a lot going on pacy has hit 16 and I feel like he might be one of the older ones out of the core group because obviously it would make sense uh it was also interesting because no one knew who py was they just kind of arrived for a party it shows that as much as he views himself as a joke apparently the town does view him as that as well Dawson and Joey are so heavy in their relationship they are very like you expect them to have sex right then and there they are hot and passionate I guess it's all the years of being friend but I do not like him reading her diary and then being upset he is a great filmmaker but he's also 1516 he has a long way to go until he's magnificent Jen want endorsement back by makes sense her being friends with Abby is a dangerous thing cuz Abby is a terrible friend but it's like okay Jen what do we do in this moment I really enjoyed this episode because you really felt where they're going I mean they were very heavy-handed in plots including Dawson's parents including Dawson and jery pacy and Andy and then Jens they were very heavy-handed but it worked and I wasn't bored for one single moment watching this episode so I can only expect more scenes with pacy and Andy before they get together but it's very close this was a very more oh we're going to get together very soon cuz they like one another you can tell she wouldn't have given him that present that was supposed to be for her brother Jack will play a point at some point otherwise why would he be introduced Dawson and jery have a lot of issues to work out Dawson is a very self abbed friend and I don't think that means he's a bad character it just means he is very self-absorbed again did you like the episode what did you think only two episodes in I do think already It usurps season 1 because I feel like I understand where they're going with these characters and what they're trying to do but what do you think so far
