Dallas Cowboys 2024 Record Prediction And Schedule Breakdown

[Music] with the season finally basically here for the Dallas Cowboys it's time for an updated game by game schedule and record prediction before we get to mine I want you guys to predict the Cowboys record in 2024 week one which is very much just around the corner the Dallas Cowboys on the road against the Cleveland Browns if this game was later in the year I'd feel more confident about it if it wasn't a bad matchup I fear for some of your pieces overall I would feel better about I think the Cowboys are a better team on the road I've got the Cowboys covering kind of or at least forcing the uh the split there but I have the Browns winning 21 to 20 or I I just don't like the matchup I think you have the better quarter back I think a lot of the other Supporting Cast stuff though favors Cleveland so if we get best version of Dak and Deshawn turns into massage Boy again they can definitely win I think it's going to be a narrow kind of ugly game in week one I actually did my score my concerns even with Mike Zimmer as opposed to Dan Quinn and others historically this team has has had issues containing mobile quarterbacks I I get worried about playing Baltimore I think Baltimore is a better team than what Dallas is so give me the Ravens to win 31-27 week four at the New York not so good at football Giants Thursday Night Football so it's a tight turnaround on the road give me an easy win over New York I I you can't make me bet on Daniel Jones refuse to do it let's extend that winning streak with a healthy quarterback over the Giants to another win there 3513 and at least the Giants score touchdown this time that's me being nice but also mean to to New York now the regular season is important it's going to be a long one I'm going to enjoy the ride cuz I have my fears for how this ends in January but if you want to have some playoff wins then like the video should be every single person on today's show so week five at the Steelers Sunday Night Football you're two and2 Road game Prime Time tough team that always plays hard and always makes it competitive with the extra prep time though give me the win over Pittsburgh and Russell Wilson I think pra a lower scoring Affair I don't trust the Steelers offense it's going to be a great test for your ground game by the way Arthur Smith wants to run that football or that your run defense I should say because it's closer than what it was last year Cowboys have lost three straight games against San Francisco all in different painful fashion until they get off the the schneide there I I I I can't believe Falcons you're three and four the the Freak Out is underway and you eek out a win against Kirk Cousins and& company in Atlanta hopefully no uh watermelon onid kick required this time Dallas gets a gutty win over Atlanta Atlanta tries to make a late back they can't pull it off there cowboys 27 Falcons 24 let's go to week 10 and this is a key one a home against the Philadelphia Eagles Dallas has to win this one if they're going to win the division I don't think you can start with an early loss against Philadelphia and expect them to collapse again like they did last year I have Dallas winning 28-23 the nfc's cursed we will get into here in a little bit I'm curious how this new look offense under Kell MO looks we'll know a lot more about Philadelphia once we get to week 10 but for now I'll give Dallas the win it's an inverse what happened uh in uh the first game last year by the way which I thought was kind of funny week 11 Houston Texans Monday Night Football uh I would like to win the state championship and take down Houston coming off a game against the Eagles I just I get a little bit worried about that one um I'm gonna go Houston wins I hate saying that by the way but I think st's going to be in for a really good year I think that team is very well coached under Deo Ryan I I got Houston over Dallas 2820 no Miracle comeback this time for the Cowboys week 12 at the Washington commanders I do not believe in Cliff Kingsbury I have Dallas winning 31-21 and this does not bode well for the commander playoff hopes by the way I ain't they're still in a rebuilding phase Thanksgiving week 13 against the Giants strangely enough both Cowboys Giants games are on Thursday this year it's kind of funny how that one worked out these games are often kind of ugly because it's it's still concerns over Bryce Young on the road coming off of kind of a shorter turnaround I think a bit of a slow start kind of like the last time Dallas played Carolina Dallas picks up the win Panthers offense struggles 2415 over Carolina week 16 this is a Sunday Night Football matchup by the way yet another Prime Time game I get about Tampa I don't know why um but I I don't know if this team is going to close the season the way I want them to they're probably going to be fighting for the division and it pains me dearly 24 23 bucks upset Dallas and it's like uhoh well now you got to beat the Eagles to win the division at least have a chance to win the division in week 17 that's going to be a road game Dallas for the most part is going to avoid bad December weather at least they should bad December January weather and if the Cowboys had not won the division last year I'd have taken to beat Philadelphia today but the NFC East is cursed and nobody's ever able to repeat so give me as much as it pains me to do it the Eagles to win 3020 seven there's some uh referee Shenanigans at the end of the game and we all lose our minds over it and the Eagles take down the Cowboys and a they win the division it it's a curse it's not fair but it's a curse pick your NFC East winner D for the Dallas Cowboys W for the Washington commanders NY G for the Giants or Phi for the Philadelphia Eagles now Dallas by week 18 may or may not be fighting for a playoff spot I still maintain this is going to be a c a playoff team if they need it they'll win it if they don't need it they'll win it anyway Cowboys over the commanders 27-7 Washington's going to be in full-on tank mode by this time because they're not they're not a good I don't think they're a good football team not yet at least I think Dallas wins 10 games I think they make the postseason and I think that they probably win one game at most because that's what this team is Cowboys are a 10- win team that's the roster they've built that's how they're coached that's everything about them and they're just not quite good enough to get over the Deep playoff hump [Music]
