AND THINGS ARE REALLY COOLING DOWN TONIGHT. JAN. YEAH, WE ARE SEEING THOSE TEMPERATURES BACKING OFF PRETTY QUICKLY FOR US, EVEN FROM WHERE WE WERE ALREADY THIS AFTERNOON IN THOSE 70S FOR HIGHS NOW DOWN TO 62, IN DES MOINES, IOWA CITY THOUGH, WHERE FOLKS ARE EITHER STILL CELEBRATING OR A OPPOSITE OF CELEBRATING THERE. 51 IN IOWA CITY, 53 IN THE AMES AREA AT THIS TIME, WE ARE GOING TO SEE TEMPERATURES CLIMBING, THOUGH, AS WE HEAD INTO THE NEXT COUPLE OF DAYS. BUT FIRST, A CLEAR NIGHT FOR US ACROSS THE AREA. HIGH PRESSURE IS IN CONTROL. THAT KEEPS THOSE CLOUDS AWAY. NOT MUCH MOVEMENT TO OUR WEATHER PATTERN HERE INTO THE DAY TOMORROW. WE'LL KEEP THINGS FAIRLY QUIET FOR US. WE'LL START TO FILTER IN A LITTLE BIT MORE OF THAT WARMER AIR LEADING INTO NEXT WEEK. SO TONIGHT, TEMPERATURES DOWN INTO THE 40S. LOOK FOR 45. IOWA CITY 47. IN WATERLOO, FORT DODGE AND IN AMES AT 49, IN THE DES MOINES AREA, CRESTON AROUND 46 OVERNIGHT TONIGHT, IF YOU LIKE THAT COOL FRESH AIR, GET THOSE WINDOWS OPENED UP BECAUSE YOU'RE GOING TO WANT TO CLOSE THEM AND TURN THE AC ON HERE AS WE HEAD INTO NEXT WEEK. CLEAR SKIES. STAY WITH US HERE FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS. WE'LL RUN YOU THROUGH SUNDAY. HARDLY ANY CLOUDS TO SPEAK OF THERE AS WE HEAD INTO MONDAY AS WELL. THAT'S WHERE WINDS START TO TURN A LITTLE BIT MORE OUT OF THE SOUTH LATE SUNDAY INTO MONDAY, STARTING TO TURN A LITTLE BIT MORE OF THAT WARMTH FOR US AND PUSHING TEMPERATURES BACK INTO THE 80S AS WE START OFF THE UPCOMING WEEK. THEY WON'T STOP THERE. TEMPERATURES CONTINUE CLIMBING. WE'RE BACK INTO THE MIDDLE 80S. BOTH MONDAY AND TUESDAY. WE'RE TALKING UPPER 80S TO NEAR 90. BY WEDNESDAY INTO THE END OF THE UPCOMING WEEK AS WELL, KEEPING THE HEAT AROUND SO MANY MORE OF THOSE WARM DAYS KIND OF STRUNG TOGETHER FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS. NO MORE FALL LIKE WEATHER. LIKE WE WERE ABLE TO ENJOY TODAY AFTER TONIGHT. TONIGHT, THOUGH, DEFINITELY DOES FEEL MUCH MORE LIKE FALL. MOSTLY CLEAR. TEMPERATURES DOWN ABOUT TEN DEGREES BELOW NORMAL FOR THIS TIME OF YEAR INTO THE DAY TOMORROW. WARMING THINGS BACK UP. THAT SUNSHINE IS BACK IN FULL FORCE AND WE'RE RIGHT NEAR WHERE WE WOULD EXPECT TO BE. BUT AGAIN, THE WARMING DOESN'T QUITE STOP THERE. WE KEEP IT GOING AS WE HEAD THROUGH THE EIGHT DAY FORECAST. SO HERE'S ALL THAT TOGETHER. LOOK FOR PLENTY OF SUNSHINE MOVING FORWARD SUNDAY, MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, THURSDAY, FRIDAY. NOT REALLY EXPECTING ANYTHING IN TERMS OF CLOUD COVER OR RAINFALL THROUGH THE NEXT SEVERAL DAYS. WE'LL KEEP THOSE TEMPERATURES WARMING AGAIN MIDDLE 80S MONDAY AND TUESDAY AND THEN PUSHING THAT 90 DEGREE MARK BY WEDNESDAY, STAYING IN THE UPPER SECONDS FOR THURSDAY AND FRIDAY, THOSE OVERNIGHT LOWS MODERATING AS WELL. BACK INTO THAT MORE NEAR NORMAL RANGE BY MONDAY, TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY AND THEN KIND OF BACK INTO THOSE 60S. THOSE LOW AND MIDDLE 60S FOR THE END OF NEXT WEEK, NEXT SHOT AT RAIN. IT'S LIMITED CHANCE. IT'S THERE ON SATURDAY AND SUNDAY OF NEXT WEEK. BUT WE'RE NOT LOOKING LIKE WE'RE GOING TO GET TOO MUCH OUT OF THAT. IT DOES LOOK PRETTY MINIMAL AT THIS POINT. WE'LL HAVE
