well hello everyone it is Sunday August the 25th 2024 I'm Doug it's time once again to play some wle uh our good friend Ken Trosper writes in you need to have a little faith that you can get it in one guess ah I see what you did there Ken very clever and you're right you do need to sometimes have faith when you're playing the uh worldles so we'll go ahead with faith today well first we'll put the mouse over the box where you put the letters there we go uh and then we'll put in faith let's see what we get here ah was not a hole in one uh but an excellent start for us a t in position and an a out of position so uh more than happy to take that uh outcome um let's see uh I think you know I'm not going to like the a in the front so whether it goes in the third or the fifth spot I feel like I'm more interested in looking at the possibilities if it was in the fourth spot uh about something with at uh so boy we could try some very basic stuff uh you know what okay well I'll go with something that uh moves the a around and has all kinds of fantastic letters to evaluate slate um obviously it could theoretically be the answer uh but nonetheless we'll evaluate a lot of stuff and because it's Sunday I like to pretend everyone will do my catchphrase with me I'm sure you do uh anyway let's see what we got here is the answer to today's puzzle the word slate I was about to go with it uh before that L just turned around in Gray but oh my goodness holy too s a t all in position this close to a two Sol a two guess solve here so all right uh excitement is is is passed now let's get to business I suspect we got a couple possibilities here so we could have obviously skate um we could have I think we I think we're at skate here Spate possibly spat te no no worse oh State that's right I'm thinking myself looking at for uh uh repeating letters no worse than three possibilities I'm pretty confident in that so uh let's try skate first CU that's the first thing that came to my mind I think we're pretty safe here uh so let's see if we can wrap it up in three Al together is the answer to today's puzzle the word skate yes it is and I guess you could say we skated to Victory here in short order on this uh fun Sunday uh hope you had a good time with that hey let me know in the comments how you did and of course let us know your favorite starting words we're always looking for your starting words to try or even an old favorite if you haven't seen it in a bit we'll take those to it's going to be Monday tomorrow uh and we are going to start with an interesting starting word fondue f o n d uh that sounds delicious I hope you agree more importantly I hope you join me tomorrow for some more wle
