[Music] Lexus presents tennis on Sky Sports congratulations Jack Draper threw to the third round here again and your reaction to that made me feel a little bit as if you were very happy with that performance and you sort of felt it was the performance that you needed to have at this stage of a grand slam yeah for sure um I felt good coming into the tournament uh my first round uh started off really well and then obviously uh noticed the guy was injured so it became a bit of a non-match I suppose and I hope the guy recovers and stuff so I didn't really know what to expect today because the the other day I didn't really get enough Court time to to really know um today I felt like my my tennis was in a good place I felt a little bit flat from the start um sometimes as tennis players we don't always wake up feeling amazing like a normal person so I had to try and get myself going I felt my my my serve got me out of trouble a lot and uh yeah I hopefully I can keep on building on this performance you dropped very few points on your first serve you were saving all your break points did it feel like the conditions on the court everything here really works for you yeah there's no doub about it like uh this is the this Grand Stam I've had my best results in so far I think uh the first year was third round last year fourth round and this year again I'm in the in the third round again so um there's definitely something about the the conditions here that really suit my my game my leftin and um you know I think uh if I keep on improving at the level I'm doing then there's no reason why I can't do really well here and there's a potential that you'll play Carlos alarz in the next round you obviously beat him at Queens what did you learned about his game when you played him that time yeah I mean I think it's hard to tell you know i' I've played him a couple times on the hard court and you know it is a it is a different ball game you know all this stuff around the grass you know it's it's obviously two weeks a year um but obviously was proud of my performance there you know he hasn't lost to anyone on the grass in the last couple of years so I must have done something right but I'm uh I'm going to be if I do play him I'll be expecting a very different caros s out there to the one I played at Queen so I'm looking forward to that battle and let's see how it goes congratulations through to the third round again really great performance thanks J thank you KY cheers
