NFL fans welcome back to the J all day show we're finally here week one of the NFL season I'm super excited today's episode we're going to bring you predictions with scores for all the remaining games left on the Slate I got a very special guest for you my dad Tommy tomber Amaral is here from Philly checking in going to give you some predictions today tomber welcome to the channel buddy how you doing ready for the NFL kickoff yeah man we had a great game last night Chiefs and the Ravens what you think of that game buddy it was a good game but I thought the Ravens could have pulled it out yeah they kind of shot themselves in the foot with some penalties you know some Miss throws by Lamar Jackson that one in the end zone flowers was wide open they almost pulled it off but the toe was just on the white line and the Chiefs got the w we had a bet on the Chiefs money line and I got I teased a Ravens bet plus 14 so we are both alive in that one as well all right we're going to start with the Green Bay Packers at the Philadelphia Eagles the line Eagles given two points to the Packers what are your thoughts buddy I think the Packers are going to sneak by unless the defense steps up I agree man I mean Devin White's not playing Isaiah Rogers the corner he's not playing got a new offensive coordinator new defensive coordinator the Eagles match up pretty well with the Packers but they draft it really well Javon Bullard edrian Cooper that linebacker I was telling you about who I wanted the Eagles to get which they didn't draft the linebacker to the fifth round tro or Junior is there I'm not sure what do you think on the score what's your score prediction well 2317 that sounds like a pretty good score to me but you know what I'm going against the old man I'm going to Philadelphia Eagles 2724 to pull out the victory all right now we're going to move on to this Patriots Bengals game the line just shifted from 8 and a half down the seven and a half what are your thoughts on this game that uh Bengals pull this out yeah I like the Bengals in this spot too Patriots got a lot of injuries on the offensive line a lot of moving Parts they traded Jude on to the Falcons the linebacker right and you gotta love Joe Barrow and Jamar Chase right oh absolutely you know um New England's defense can play but can they put any points on the board yeah that's the question fans are going to be asking right especially in New England can we score any points at all and Joe burrow doesn't really turn the ball over a lot he doesn't put the ball In Harm's Way too much it's not like Josh Allen who kind of gets plays hero ball a little bit Jamar Chase is you know top three wide receiver in the NFL they got a good young corner I think his name is Christian Gonzalez he's very good but Jamar Chase man T Higgins I think the offense is going to be a little bit too much I'm going with the Bengals I'm going to say 2713 what's your score prediction buddy I I say it's about right 27 I go with like h 31 Bengals and 13 yes so Tom B's got the Bengals scoring a little bit more points than I but they both cover the spread all right we're moving on to the Arizona Cardinals and the Buffalo Bills Arizona drafted Marvin Harrison Jr the wide receiver in round one really really good player Trey McBride the tight ends very good as well they're getting six and a half points on the road Buffalo no more Gabe Davis at the wire receiver position no more Stefon Diggs at the wide receiver position the new offensive coordinator likees to run the ball a little more so what are your thoughts on this one well they run the ball a little bit more gives Josh Allen better chances to make his passes yeah I I agree kind of set up play action a little bit so he's not throwing the ball 40 times a game right kind of limit the turnovers a little bit I thought Diggs was you know he's a good player don't get me wrong and uh I thought at the end of the year he just wasn't there yeah he kind of phoned out a little bit right he's kind of a diva a little bit he wasn't getting the ball as much because they were running the ball a little bit more and he started getting a little pissy about that right I think it's an addition by subtraction with Diggs I think the team will be a little more cohesive without him yapping in Josh Allen's ear all the time that's not helping anybody right that's for sure Arizona Cardinals do run the ball well James Conor is very good running back and the bills are not the best at defending the Run so if they're going to win this game they're going to have to run the ball down the bills throat I think I still think the bills can win this game I think it's going to be closer I'm going 2420 Buffalo I was just thinking 2017 Buffalo yeah I think that think it's going to be a closer game but Josh Allen you know he's so good we'll have to see what Kyler Murray looks like this year all right both of us are taking the bills but the Cardinals in both situations cover the 6 and 1 half point spread all right this is one of the tougher games of the Week Jacksonville Jaguars getting three points on the road versus the Miami Dolphins the Dolphins lost defensive lineman Christian Wilkins to the Raiders very good player and they also lost Robert hunt the interior offensive lineman to the Carolina Panthers but Wad and Tyreek Hill still there they got them two good running backs there aane and Moser really really good running backs what are your thoughts on this game Miami I think pulls it off yeah the Jaguars also got rid of Calvin Ridley the wide receiver they're going to rely heavily on Evan Ingram the tight end I think they overpaid Trevor Lawrence man is he worth 40 million a year I don't know he's not worth 40 million yeah I don't know we'll have to see with the new wide receiver team they did draft that Brian Thomas Jr kid from LSU big tall guy 64 I think he runs a 4340 he's a Gasser man but Jaylen Ramsey just signed a huge deal the cornerback from the Miami Dolphins making him the highest paid cornerback of all time just released today so he's probably going to I guess be covering Brian Thomas Jr or Gabe Davis I don't know which one he's going to cover but yeah I think the Dolphins win this game the Jaguars offensive Line's not too good either I'm going Dolphins like 3120 that's it I was just down a score I think Miami wins it 2817 yeah I think both of us picking the Dolphins covering the spread there all right Houston Texans on the road vers the Colts Colts are getting three points Houston Texans the offense is crazy CJ stal one of the best young players in the NFL Joe Mixon comes over from Cincinnati the running back Stefon Diggs leaves Buffalo goes to goes to Houston and they also got tank Dell and Nico Collins two really good young wide receivers the Colts drafted two guys I really like latu lat that linebacker from UCLA and they also drafted wide receiver Adonai Mitchell a very good player Shane syen the head coach there the former offensive coordinator of the Philadelphia Eagles Anthony Richardson's back he's healthy what are your thoughts on this game buddy I think uh the Colts win this game all right you got the Colts huh especially getting three points win 2017 2019 okay that's a little different than me I'm going to go with the Texans that's hard for me to bet against CJ strap but we're playing in Indianapolis in that Dome could be a little tough for CJ strout in week one right is the sophomore slump are going to be a real thing with CJ stra they got a year of tape on them now so teams are going to start to make adjustments right absolutely all right after they play a year or so in the leagues players start figuring out what they're doing yeah so Tom BD's going with the Colts I'm going with the Texans we'll see how that one shakes out guys all right Minnesota Vikings at the Giants Sam Donnell's the quarterback for the Vikings JJ McCarthy the rookie blew up his knee he's done for the year looks like Addison's going to play even though he's dealing with that high ankle sprain Justin Jefferson's there TJ hackinson the tight end is out on the on the giant side excuse me Daniel Jones is the quarterback with Malik neighbors Devin single the running back formerly from the Texans now with the Giants what do you think about this game Tomy I think the Vikings win by uh 10 10 huh what's your score prediction I would go uh 24 13 something like that okay oh man I'm been going back and forth on this game so the Minnesota Vikings are a team that likes to play in the dome you know what I mean they're going outside in Jersey you know Sam darnold I don't know if he's a starting quarterback in the NFL quite yet right so could the Giants and that new pass rush Brian Burns Dexter Lawrence get after him and force some turnovers I've been picking the Vikings pretty much all you know off season long but maybe the Giants pull this one out close game like I'm saying like 2017 I'm going with the Giants I'm going against you Tom Bert well you know that's your opinion but uh I think you know the Giants haven't really proved nothing I mean you're 100% right I'm just hoping that that dline can get after Sam darnold maybe we get a couple turnovers and malague neighbors balls out and Daniel Jones we get the good Daniel Jones and well the weather's supposed to be pretty good yeah so you get good Daniel Jones or bad Daniel Jones right that one preseason game you threw a pick six in the end zone Giants fans probably want to cry themselves to sleep well they've been doing that the last couple years yeah that's for sure all right next up we got a really fun game Titans at the Bears Caleb Williams number one draft pick starting for the Chicago Bears they also drafted number nine in the first round bringing in Roma dun Keenan Allen great wide receiver for the last decade leaves the Chargers goes to the Bears they also got DJ Moore and they got DeAndre Swift the former running back from the Eagles all right the Tennessee Titans new head coach Brian Callahan coming over from the Bengals former offensive coordinator there his dad bill Callahan the o line coach coming over from the Browns DeAndre Hopkins is there they signed Calvin Ridley will Levis in year two we'll see if you can take a leap forward what are your thoughts on this one buddy well I like the Bears I I think the Bears are going to be a really good team this year for some reason they just seem that they put a lot of good players back together yeah I mean they're definitely did they did good good job in free agency that dline they brought in Monti has sweat at the trade deadline last year you know so I mean the Bears look good on paper but on paper doesn't win football games right so can they do it on the field against this you know not too bad Tennessee Titans team I think it's going to be an upgrade they brought in the lerus need from the Chiefs right that's a big upgrade at the cornerback position right they brought in a woer too from the Bengals two really good Corners you know it's going to be tough for Caleb Williams I expect them to Blitz a lot if I'm the Titans I'm blitzing a lot they got a new defensive coordinator there so he's got to bring the pain they they might be blitzing but I tell you what I always like Swift when he plays for the birds yeah he's a good player man he can get through that line he he can put some yards up yeah that's for sure man so who you think wins this game what's your score oh this close this CL very close game uh I'm going to go with the Bears 2017 all right I'm going I'm they're going to score a little more points than that I'm going 2723 for the Bears I was going back and forth that I want to pick the Titans and go contrarian to the old man but I think I'm going to go with the bears bears got they got a lot of Talent on that team Yeah man they really really do hopefully they can put it all together next Pittsburgh Steelers at the Atlanta Falcons Kirk Cousins leaves the Vikings now he's the quarterback with the Falcons Russell Wilson quarterback of the Pittsburgh Steelers coming over from the Broncos but today they said the calf injury is back so I don't know if he's going to play or is going to be Justin Fields the Atlanta pass rush is a concern for me but the Steelers got a really good defense TJ watt is incredible High Smith is great it's going to be who wins in the trenches right what are your thoughts on this one well I think Pittsburgh pulls this out you know if Wilson can put the ball on on his receivers they win this hands down yeah Pickins is a really good receiver for Pittsburgh you know he made some crazy catches last year and he was doing that with terrible quarterback play right if Russell Wilson can even be like 70% of the Russell Wilson the the Steelers are going to be tough to beat right well their defense is good yeah so can the Falcons offensive line protect her cousins right that's how this game plays out I like the Steelers in plus three and a half but the quarterback play concerns me the Falcons pass rush also concerns me I'm going with the Falcons barely I'm going like 1714 Falcons get that's going to be yeah I I was thinking about 1713 for the Steelers Steelers oh yeah Steelers and uh unless if Wilson can put some in play yeah and some Drives together right yeah if he can put some ACE together and drive them down the field I think they might win this pck he doesn't turn the ball over a lot either so that you know could help them definitely going forward all right now we got sometimes go ahead sometimes he has that Chuck and duck syndrome yeah I mean sometimes yeah it's like and sometimes he holds on to the ball too long he takes a lot of sacks so and then the Steelers offensive Line's got some injury so that's why I'm going with the Falcons man next up we got the Saints at the Panthers Panthers are getting four Saint's got a good defense Derek Carr still the quarterback there Kamar is getting a little bit older you know Bryce young was not very good in his rookie year they got him some help on the offensive line brought in two big offensive lineman to help they got Adam thielen still they brought in Deontay Johnson the wide receiver from the Steelers they drafted Xavier Legette yeah I think this game might be a little closer than people think too but I'm going to go with the Saints here I'm saying 1710 I I like the Saints I think the Saints put some points up they go 20 six 27 to 13 yeah I don't know if the Panthers are going to be able to score points right they got a whole they got a new head coach there they got a whole bunch of new moving Parts might take them a little while I think they'll be better than last year but I think it's going to take some time to to kind of flush it all out a little bit and Derek Carr playing in the in the dome in in new orans it's loud it's crazy I think it's going to be tough for the Panthers to win on the road it's exciting there yeah it's a really good crowd right all right now we got to talk about another crowd Seattle Seahawks at home versus the Denver Broncos Broncos are getting six points rookie quarterback B Nicks from Oregon starting for Shawn Payton the former coach of the Saints and Drew Brees they got a really good Corner in Pat certan the rest of the defense is just okay Seattle great offense Smith and jiga Tyler Lockett DK medcafe that Beast gin Smith that quarterback their offensive line not too good but they got a good defense they got a new coach there coming over from the Ravens the former defensive coordinator there heling that defense they're probably going to be a top 10 top 12 unit this year but the Broncos are you know what I mean b Knicks look good in preseason man so I'm not counting him out just yet the Broncos you know last year they finished off pretty good and I thought they were just a player or two away yeah they kind of had some highs and some lows right they played really bad a little bit and then they started playing a little bit better then they were like even in the hunt for a playoff spot towards the end of the year right they got a new quarterback there you know they traded Jerry Judy over to Cleveland so they're going to miss him a little bit they still got courland Sutton on the outside pretty good player but I think Seattle's just going to be too much for this young team I think Tyler Lockett has a big day I'm going you know 37 Seahawks I think they win big I think Seahawks win 33 21 3321 all right we're both taking the Seahawks let's move on to the Raiders at the chargers chargers are at home at Sofi Stadium giving the Raiders three points the Chargers pretty much traded away everyone on their team no more Keenan Allen no more Mike Williams Justin Herbert's been dealing with that foot injury the Raiders Gardner muu comes over from the Colts to be the quarterback they got Brock Bowers in the draft Devonte Adams on the outside I'm going with the Raiders man I think the upsets coming I'm going Raiders 2017 yeah I always think the same thing the Raiders you know they got like you said Chargers got rid of players that really moved them along and uh and the Raiders picked up some really good players which they need a little help yeah getting Brock Bowers in the draft is huge for them so that could really help out and they got Christian Wilkins I talked about him a little bit earlier coming over from the Dolphins on the D line paired up with Max Crosby yeah I like the Raiders man yeah 2014 Raiders all right Cowboys Browns lot of this off season for the Cowboys Browns lost their offensive line coach desan Watson's finally healthy they brought in Jerry Judy at the wide receiver position Nick chub they really good running back he's out until week five Cowboys are starting two rookies on the offensive line this can go either way what do you think tomber is Prescott healthy yeah he's 100% healthy he looks he looks good okay I like the Cowboys in this yeah the Cowboys got a pretty good defense and uh their problem last year was they just couldn't put some points on the board when it matter right there and they couldn't do it I think the Cowboys win this at 24 14 yeah I mean I think the defense could be a problem for deshun Watson the only thing that worries me is I'm gonna take the Browns I think Miles Garrett and that D line bangs up these rookies on the offensive line for the Cowboys so I mean Dak Prescott and CD lamb could go off though CD Lamb's so good he's unbelievable yeah Prescott you know he's not afraid to run the ball either yeah and Prescott you know he's great in the regular season run the ball with them rookies and they're off you know in the running back there Ezekiel Elliott's back their their running back room is not very good I'm going with the Browns close game 2120 for the rounds all right we got three games left Tampa Bay Buccaneers at home bringing back pretty much the whole team from last year minus a few guys on defense against the Washington commanders new rookie quarterback Jaden Daniels new head coach Dan Quinn new offensive coordinator Cliff Kingsbury former head coach of the Cardinals commanders are getting four points I like The Buckaneers here man what do you think well the Buccaneers you know they're a good team you know uh they this is going to be I don't know I think Washington might get some points score some points yeah I mean Jayden Daniels is really really good he's very elusive in the pocket man he's not afraid to pull the ball down and run he's going to run a lot of that read option you know what I mean if they Blitz him and they're not spying him he gets outside the pocket he could go on 10 15 20 yard runs right oh easyy easy 20 yard runs yeah he's really really good at the quarterback position but I think Todd balls is going to scheme it up right I feel like this is a trap game I'm going Buccaneers 2317 but I don't feel I'm not confident about it well I like the Buccaneers hands down win the game 2310 yeah I mean they could definitely shut down the rookie quarterback they traded Jihad doson to the Eagles they don't got a ton of Firepower they're going to be leaning on guys like Zack Z at the tight end position not great all right we got the Rams at the Lions Rams are getting four and a half Matt Stafford's dealing with a hamstring injury pukaa was out pretty much all preseason with that knee injury the Lions added some good players on defense like terryon Arnold the cornerback from Alabama and zeitler the guard from the Ravens their offensive line that was really good last year somehow got better and they're really good at home I like the I think I like the Lions here man what do you think I like the Lions still um you know I can't I just don't see how the the Rams are getting four and a half points you think it would be more or less yeah I thought it would be less but I think the Lions pulled us out uh they do play each other tough but remember no more Aaron Donald on defense for the Rams he was the best player in football the last decade man he was getting doubled and triple teamed on every play so that gave opportunities to those young guys like Kobe Turner last year so maybe that's why it's four and a half well that could be plus the lions are pretty good at home yeah they're I they always play tough at home and I I I say 24-21 Lions yeah I'm gonna go 2724 for the Lions a close game I think the Rams could might cover the spread though what do you think you think they cover the spread four and a half maybe not I I don't know like you said it's a tough game yeah I don't want any part of this betting wise staying away yeah and if Stafford if Stafford gets hot with Cooper cup and Thea they could upset this Lions team you know oh yeah he he's very capable if he's right on the money yeah when Stafford's on man he's like one of the better quarterbacks in the NFL all right guys our last game of the day thank you for tuning in to me and my dad Tommy tomber for the Dad cast Jets on the road Aaron roders is back hopefully he doesn't get hurt on the fourth play of the damn game like last time against the 49ers at home Trent Williams sign Brandon auk sign everybody's coming back everybody got paid everybody's happy what are your thoughts on this game Jets upset the 49ers yeah I mean I Jets got that killer defense they probably got the best defense in the NFL right can they get the Brock pie and beat him well their problem is putting points on the board but you you got the old man back there throwing the ball yeah I mean he makes something out of nothing pretty often right yeah he he finds things that nobody else would be even thinking of he seems to find a guy Chu that ball and you're like how in the world did he ever catch that ball yeah I mean he's he's unbelievable even at his Advanced age it's hard to bet against Aaron roders but I think the 49ers at home with that offense I just think they find a little more leeway with the going against the jet defense than they do against the 49ers defense who's underrated right you know what I mean they got a pretty good defense but they're lost a lot of guys on the D line the 49ers so and you know if you give Aaron Rogers time you could be in deep doodo yeah that's for sure you can't give him no time you got to be in his face or he's going to burn your Bridge yeah 100% man I'm going to go with the 49ers 2420 2420 what's the spread on that again four jets are getting four and a half jets are getting four four and a half I got to go with the 49ers yeah you're going to change your mind that that game is like Whoever has the ball ass is going to win that game I could see that for sure that's it maybe we'll go and let's see and they're it got to go with the 49ers they're at home and it's first game back foron Rogers 49ers I I go actually I anything I think it might be a high scoring game yeah could could be and it and it could be the 49ers like 35 30 all right there it is guys Tommy's going
