NC State Football 2024 Predictions

what's up sports fans this is the Lucas Ross Sports channel we continue to hear at by 2024 predictions for the upcoming 20124 college football season the NC State wolf pack are up next NC State coming off a 9 and4 season last year in 2023 so a pretty good year and a great year for NC State uh kind of got off to a slow start at the beginning of the season but then of course made it to a bowl game last year and this team actually was like a Darkhorse cont in the ACC last year as well my thoughts on this team for 2024 they're going to be pretty young this year but I do expect NC State to be right there around 6 seven eight wins somewhere in that range uh they're pretty solid and also they're pretty decent as a program and they're really consistent as a program and they're well coached so I think NC State will be pretty good this year let's go to the schedule now here for 2024 and this is the schedule here for NC State again they were N9 and4 last year in 2023 so let's go game by game now and give you a record prediction here for the wolf pack for 2024 they will start things off on a Thursday night on August 29th they play Western Carolina I think they win that game pretty easily I think they probably like win this one by over 20 points probably score like maybe 28 or maybe like 35 or maybe over 35 points maybe they can score 40 but I think NC State pretty much dominates this one they win this one fairly easily and I got them starting out 1 and0 with a win over Western Carolina and then after that there's the big game against Tennessee on September the 7th in week number two of course this game will be in Charlotte I feel like maybe there will be more Tennessee fans here than more than NC State fans it is a close you know location here for North Carolina State but you know Tennessee uh you know they're really passionate you know their fans are really passionate about their football team so I feel like there will be more orange uh in this Stadium on sh in Charlotte here on week number two uh you look at this match up I think both of these teams are pretty even uh you know Tennessee though might be the more talented roster here and I've already done my prediction here for this game and I did choose Tennessee to win this one I think I just think Tennessee is the more better team you know they're definitely the more better offense they're going to be really explosive uh once again this year in 2024 I think NC State's going to try to want to run the football in this game uh just to keep that Tennessee offense off the field for as long as possible I don't think it will be enough though I think it's going to be a competitive game I think it will be close but I don't think it will be enough to go up against Tennessee's roster Talent so with that being said I think Tennessee beats NC State here in a competitive game in week number two that's a big non-conference game there to you know in the first couple weeks here of the season so I got NC State losing to Tennessee here so I got them improving or actually falling to one and one and then they uh take care of business against Lana Tech here on September 14th so that puts NZ State's record now here at 2- one and then they go on the road to play Clemson here to open up conference play on September 21st of course this game in Def Valley a very tough place to play it seems like NC State plays Clemson in the early part of the Season which is always very tough uh usually they do play against them pretty well when they're playing at home and everything but playing on the road at def Valley that's a very tough place to play however I think Inc State actually will compete in the first half in this game I think Clemson the way they've been not really doing good the last three years it seems like NC State's really getting close with Clemson these days but Clemson definitely is the more talented team here I think Clemson probably pulls away in the second half and also they're playing at def Valley so this is a very tough game here on the road so I'm going to go with Clemson here to knock off NC State so that's their second loss here of the season on the road here at Clemson that puts their record at 2 and2 and then after that they'll take care of business against Northern Illinois here on September 28th in their last non-conference game um you know right there on September 28th uh they should be able to win that game and so that puts their record now at 3 and2 next game is at home against Wake Forest on October the 5th I don't really expect Wake Forest to be all that good this year I'm not really that high on the demon dinkin even though they're like a consistent team in the ACC as well as a program but I think NC State definitely is the better team here plus they're playing at home this could be a competitive game maybe for a while but I think NC State will win this one fairly easily so I think NC State beats wake for us here on October 5th and that puts their record now at 4-2 next game will be at home against Syracuse on October 12th a very interesting game here you know Syracuse I think is going to be pretty good this year I know a lot of people saying they're not going to be really that great but you know you just look at the roster plenty of guys coming back on both sides of the football they've also added some additions in the transfer portal now this game was on the road at Syracuse I definitely would choose the orange in this one to probably pull off another set probably not going to be an upset alert type game but NC State is playing at home in this one kind of hard to go against the wolf pack when they're playing at home in this kind of you know you know game and everything so with that being said this is going to be a very competitive game I think it probably is a close game here in this one but at the end of the day home food Advantage will be the difference I'm going to go with NC State here to knock off Syracuse right there on October 12 so that puts their record now at 5 and2 and then after that they'll play on the road here at California on October 19th uh pretty big Trap game here for NC State you know California is a team that made it to a bowl game last year obviously playing in their first year in the ACC coming up this season I think this is going to be a really tricky game it's a very tough place to play at California uh you know California not going to be the most talented team but definitely probably the spoiler team that can probably pull off some upsets this year and I knew this is one of those games that can really definitely be an upset alert type game it's in the month of October you know NC State probably coming in this one as a top 20 team I think California pulls off the upset it's a low-scoring game I think California pulls off the upset here in this one again it's just one of those upset alert type games and it's also one of those trap games and it's a very tough place to play on the road at Cal so I think Cal does pull off the upset here and gives NC State their third loss of the season so I got NC State losing on the road here at Cal on October 19th they get a bye right after that NC after that California game I should say for playing Stanford at home on November 2nd I think NC State bounces back here I don't really think Stanford's going to be all that good this year not really high on this team a second-year head coach maybe they're a little bit better compared to last year but this is also a newcomer coming up in the ACC don't really know what to expect from them this season so I think NC State wins this one fairly easily they get a bounceback win after the lost to Cal a couple weeks ago and I think that puts NC State's record now at 6 and3 next game they'll play at home against Duke on November 9th I mean obviously a rivalry game anything can happen here in this one uh Duke's going to have a first year head coach we know they lost Mike Elco and everything but this is a rivalry game so I think it will be very competitive uh this is a game that probably can go either way I think both of these teams are pretty even you know they're both really young rosters here but you know NC State definitely the more talented team plus they're playing at home you know I think Duke will be better by this time with their first year head coach and everything but I think NC State again defin the better team here I'm going to go with the wolf pack here just because they're playing at home so I got NC State beating Duke here on November 9th so that puts their record now at 7 and three and then they get their second bye here before playing on a Thursday night they play Georgia Tech here on the road again on a Thursday night on November 21st this is a very big Trap game kind of even like a more Trap game here than the California game there on October 19th uh definitely one of those upset alert type games here in the month of November I think to texit program that seems like it's heading in the right direction I think they're going to be really good again this year even though they do have a tough schedule uh going into this game I think NC State definitely is the more talented team here but again it's just one of those upset alert type games and it's definitely one of those like games that can probably go either way we've seen Georgia Tech pull off a couple upsets last year one against North Carolina and then one against Miami I think they do this right here I think they pull up an upset here against NC State it's a competive game it's going to be a low-scoring type game I think Jord DET Tech will be fired up for this game as well I know NC State gets a bye-week before playing this game but it's just one of those games that you know definitely can go either way and plus we've seen some week night upsets happen in the past in the history of college football and this game is on a Thursday night it's a week night game so you never know what can happen so I think Jord Tech pulls off the upset there and that gives NC State their fourth loss of the season so that puts the wol pack record now at 7 and4 and then the final game of the season is on the road here at North Carolina on November 30th I've already done my North Carolina video from this past Friday just like a couple days ago maybe like three days ago I should say maybe a couple days ago but I did pick North Carolina to win this game I think both of these teams are going to be pretty young this year you look at North Carolina they're going to be really young on both sides of the football but they do have home fit advantage in this one and I also think they'll be fired up for this one I mean it's obviously a rivalry game Anything Can Happen remember a couple years ago NC State North Carolina on the road I know they've done that in the past but you know NC State was definitely the better team a couple years ago this year I think both of these teams are pretty even but you know North Carolina does have the HomeField advantage in this one it's obviously a very tough game to call when it comes like to a rivalry game it's a 50-50 game as well so with that being said home fot Advantage will be the difference here I'm going with the Tar Heels to knock off NC State here in the final game of the season so I got NC State losing their final two games of the season one on the road at Georgia Tech and then one on the road at North Carolina so back to back road games to end out the season but my official prediction for NC State is 7 and5 here for 2024 so again I do expect NC State to still make it to a bowl game again this is a very consistent program I do expect them to be right there around 6 seven eight wins somewhere in that range but I think I got them going seven and five but if they go five- seven that would definitely be a disappointment especially for a team that's coming off really close to a 10-- win season and also a 9- win season last year in 2023 but 7 and5 is my prediction here for NC State for 2024 so let me guys know what you think about this NC State team down in the comments below what do you think their
