Seattle Seahawks Trade Candidates: Dee Eskridge, Mike Jackson & Will Dissly | Seahawks Trade Rumors

[Music] coming up on today's show we will break down the top trade candidates who your Seattle Seahawks could be moving on from at the trade deadline but first if you want the seah hooks to beat the and we'll get started with today's show trade candidates I have five players who the Seahawks could potentially be moving on from some people you would probably be glad to see the Seahawks move on from others maybe not so much so without further Ado let's go ahead and get started with the first name on our list no surprise with this one D ESRD D ESR currently serving a six game suspension and if we're going to put it mildly he has been a bust so far in his NFL career for the former second round pick and look at this when estrid comes back from suspension I don't think there's necessarily much of a role for him in this offense anymore you may have forgotten about drid that he even exists out there because he's just not significant for Seattle anymore DK medf Tyler Lockett uh your top two guys Leading The Way Jackson Smith and jiga and Jake Bobo your two rookies those guys are the future now D Eskridge did have a very good off season he looked good in OTA and training camp but then got hurt in the very first play of the preseason which has been par for the course of drid throughout his NFL career to this point he's played in just 10 career games placed on IR in both seasons in his career stats nothing to write home about 17 catches 122 yards and one touchdown so if you're going to make a trade for dridge you're trading for him based on potential because we just haven't seen think number two on this list might be a little more controversial here is Corner Mike Jackson and I got to say it has been an eventful last few months for Mike Jackson the Seahawks draft Devon Witherspoon who was expected to be the replacement for Mike Jackson then Mike Jackson had a fantastic offseason where Pete Carroll called him the MVP of the off season then he goes into the preseason and was just awful lost his job we haven't seen a ton of him basically he's been phased out of this defense as the Seahawks are focusing on their young core in particular in The Corner Room he's the only corner there uh that they didn't draft I know you know Caillou blue Kelly they technically didn't draft but they pretty much did uh with him being a rookie at this point with that said uh he's not a part of the future plans and he's not getting a ton of playing time you could get him you could get something out of him with that starting experience that he has and still playing at a relatively high level uh started in all 17 games for Seattle last year he's played about four or five games this season with no starts and he's looked decent in the small sample size that we have seen of Mike Jackson so far to this year so somebody could use him there's enough teams that need Corners out there that Mike Jackson could have some value to somebody uh his stats so far this year include 10 tackles and one pass breakup so watch out we'll see if the Seux move on from Mike Jackson or not there have been some injuries so that might be the thing that ultimately keeps him around is just to one another controversial one is Will dley who is one of the seah hook starting tight ends he's been here for a bit and he's coming off the best season of his career but the truth of the matter is this folks the Seahawks after this season are not keeping both will dis and no a Fant who knows they might even move on for both tight ends and so if you're the Seahawks knowing that next year you are going to draft a tight end to be the future right in theory you might as well go ahead and move on from one of these two tight ends while you can get something out of them and Kobe Parkinson has played well enough that you don't necessarily need both Fant and dle uh where this could be the right opportunity to try to get something out of them and personally I prefer Fant over dley yeah look at the contract situation for dley three years 24 million uh with two years remaining so you could get some relief from somebody else taking on that contract and he's already dealt with a little injury this year missed the week four contest against Carolina with that shoulder injury uh so watch out this Ley hasn't done a ton this year either just five catches for 52 yards watch out let's see if somebody picks up the phone and wants will disley sews are willing to move on from Will disley on that front so if it comes down to picking one tight end trade which one would you rather trade would you rather trade dley or would you rather trade Noah Fant if you want to trade dley type w if you want to trade in Noah Fant type in I'm only letting you keep one here pick one or the other which one goes home which one's leaving the island is the tribe speaking which direction shout out Jeff probes on Survivor let us know W for will n for Noah fan next on our list is DJ Dallas the sex will tell you that DJ Dallas is the number two running back on the depth chart but all of us know the truth of the matter is that DJ Dallas his days are numbered and his role is decreasing ing in this offense by the day when Zack shb uh with him coming along and Kenny McIntosh coming back soon eventually I think that DJ Dallas's role is going to be phased out of this offense charad looks good Kenneth Walker obviously having a very good year I just don't think that there's enough carries to go around for Everybody DJ Dallas is the oddb out and we've seen injuries around the league in particular at the running back position DJ Dallas could find a home elsewhere and we know he's a decent pass catcher uh his role you don't necessarily need because you have other guys to do What DJ Dallas brings and can do it at a higher level I mean look at the statistics already Zack shanet is technically your rb3 has 21 carries for 105 yards five touchdowns uh or five yard yards per carry rather five touchdowns for Kenneth Walker 283 yards there's just no need for DJ Dallas at this point if you can get something out of him with Macintosh on the way back why not last on the trade candidate list is Devin Bush Devon bush is an interesting scenario so to kind of go back in time to take a trip on the hot tub time machine when the Seahawks brought in Devin Bush if you recall Bobby Wagner was not around yet Jordan br was recovering from that ACL and everybody thought that he was going to miss the start of the Season ultimately a few days later they bring in Bobby and Jordan Brooks did make it back in time Devin Bush was brought in as a backup plan of sorts if they didn't get Bobby if uh you know we didn't see uh things work out for the seah hooks the way that they did with Jordan Brooks recovering from injury now with Bob and JB both playing at a high level with this running back or with this linebacker room rather looking really good there's just not so much a need for Devin Bush at this point I mean even the other guys rigan's solid Thomas uh had a really good preseason with the Raiders there and credit with credits do Jordan Brooks not the Green Dot he's not the signal caller anymore but he is off to one of the best starts if not the best start of his career and he's never been known to be much of a pass rusher he's already got two sacks 41 tackles and three tackles for loss he and Bobby had been a great one to punch so if you can get something for Devin Bush you might want to look into it uh if you're the Seahawks there because of how well you're off with those other players name a player that the seor should trade I've given you five names of some potential candidates what say you now get that comment section give me a name who you
